This is a great restaurant to visit when traveling to Okinawa for business or leisure. The main branch in Naha, as well as other locations, is a popular choice for families and colleagues. The food and awamori (Okinawan liquor) are delicious, and the live sanshin (Okinawan musical instrument) performance creates a lively atmosphere that truly feels like being in Okinawa. It's a favorite spot for Okinawan cuisine.

I used it for a farewell party for a senior colleague at the company. There was a performer playing the sanshin, creating an Okinawan atmosphere. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, but in the end, I only drank Okinawan specialty shikwasa juice (lol). The course meal had a variety of ingredients, especially lots of meat! I was very satisfied. Thank you for the feast.

I used it for a drinking party. We ordered the all-you-can-drink course and chose our favorite dishes. Orion beer was also included in the all-you-can-drink menu. The food was delicious. The Rafute was tender, the sea grapes were fresh and chewy, and the Okinawan soba was light and tasty with a cute Shisa on top.

I had the Goya Champuru set for lunch. I visited during a less busy time for lunch, but still had to wait a bit. It was nice that I could have both Goya Champuru and Okinawa soba. The taste was just delicious. I'm not really an expert in Okinawan cuisine, so... There aren't many places where you can eat Goya Champuru, so I will definitely go back again.

There were plenty of seats and many staff members at this restaurant. If you sit at a table for two, you need to order a little at a time or the food won't fit. After visiting another place first and wandering around for about an hour shopping, we ended up at what was supposed to be our second stop. We ordered a good amount of Okinawan dishes, including a tasty appetizer with mozuku, mimigar, and a pre-dinner drink of awamori mixed with shikuwasa. The food was delicious, especially the goya champuru, agu tsukune with a rich sauce, taco rice with a crazy amount of cheese, juicy agu gyoza, and flavorful soki soba. I don't know why we ordered another dish for dessert, but it was cute with a Shisa naruto, and it was tasty enough to finish. Next time, I'll make sure to go on an empty stomach. Thank you for the meal! ✨

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Reserved a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course for 4000 yen per person. It was not crowded even during lunchtime. The dishes came out quickly. The Okinawan cuisine, which I don't usually eat, was delicious and filling. However, there were too many meat dishes in a row, making it heavy and difficult to finish. Good for those who want to eat a lot, but it was quite tough for me. The appetizer platter included sea grapes, salted island shallots, and peanut-dressed mimiga. Other dishes were Agu pork cold shabu-shabu island tofu salad, goya champuru, Yanbaru chicken teriyaki, Ishigaki wagyu steak, cartilage soki tempura, Arthur soba, and Blue Seal ice cream. The drink options were plentiful with both alcoholic and soft drinks available. The waitstaff seemed inexperienced, as they did not clear empty plates promptly and lacked attentiveness. The cost performance is good, but do not expect exceptional service.

Shinjuku store was my first visit in a long time. When I entered, I felt like I was in a shop in Okinawa. The food was incredibly delicious. What stood out the most was the quiet atmosphere inside the restaurant. There were no loud people so I was able to enjoy a peaceful two hours. I made a reservation for a course meal, and one dish after another came out, each one very delicious. I left feeling completely satisfied with a full stomach. Next time, I will go without the course meal and just order normally!

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday at 9 pm without a reservation and was able to enter without waiting in line. I wanted to eat Goya Champuru, and it was delicious. There are plenty of seats, the cost performance is good, and I think it's a convenient restaurant. All the restaurants in this building are good, so I find it very useful.

Located a short walk from Shinjuku Station's Shin-Minami Exit, this restaurant is inside a mixed-use building with a clear sign outside. They offer a variety of Okinawan dishes such as Goya Champuru, Rafute, and sea grapes, so you can easily feel like you've traveled to Okinawa.

There is a restaurant located on the third floor of a building near the south exit of Shinjuku Station. It is a good place for a second party, with a nice atmosphere, but it doesn't feel very Okinawan. It's like a normal izakaya, but they have a main branch in Okinawa. They have a wide variety of awamori, so you can have a fun time enjoying awamori.

*This restaurant is located inside the building next to the Starbucks! During weekday lunch hours, you can enter without waiting in line! The interior is designed with Ishigaki stones, making you feel like you've escaped to Okinawa! Perfect for taking a break from work~ヽ(´▽`)/ *Dish: Goya Champuru set meal (includes a drink, Soki Soba, and two side dishes: Mozuku and Mimigar) The lunch has a great balance of quantity and nutrition. The taste is also delicious! I had it two days in a row, haha (о´∀`о) I could eat it all up in an instant! *Impression: Maybe because it's inside a building, it doesn't feel crowded, and the atmosphere is very cozy! The Goya in the Goya Champuru didn't taste too bitter either! Perfect for health-conscious individuals!

I went for a weekday lunch with 4 friends at a place that offers a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course for ¥4000. The Okinawan cuisine had a lot of vegetables, which I really enjoyed. The seating options were diverse, with cave-like areas, sunken tables, and regular tables to choose from. The course had a variety of dishes and the drink menu included awamori cocktails, which were quite interesting. The appetizers like sea grapes and island pickles were on the salty side but made good snacks. The fried cartilage had a rich flavor from both the fat and the tempura coating, although it might be a bit heavy for some. Overall, the food was good with a good mix of meat, vegetables, soki soba, and dessert. We had a fun and reasonably priced 3-hour dining experience without getting bored of the drinks.

Near the southeast exit of Shinjuku, there is an Okinawan restaurant where my daughter and I went for dinner before and enjoyed the delicious Somen Champuru. While shopping in Shinjuku during the day, we happened to be near the southeast exit and decided to have lunch there again because we wanted to eat Somen Champuru. However, when we arrived for lunch, we found out that they only serve a lunch menu and a few a la carte dishes, and Somen Champuru was not available during lunchtime. My daughter was okay with trying the Taco Rice instead. I had a mini Okinawan Soba and Goya Champuru set, while my daughter had the stone-grilled Taco Rice. We also ordered Umibudo, Karaage, and pickled Shima Rakkyo. They served alcohol as well, so I enjoyed some snacks and my favorite pickled Shima Rakkyo. The restaurant was almost full during lunchtime, with many people coming in to eat. The manager, who was there during our previous visit in the evening, was also there during lunch, but seemed a bit unfriendly when we asked questions. It would be more inviting if they were a bit friendlier, but overall, we had a good experience and would consider going back again.

I felt like eating Okinawan cuisine, so I visited this restaurant. It is located just a short walk from Shinjuku Station, across from NEWoMan. You take the elevator up, and when the doors open, you will find the restaurant. It was quite crowded during lunchtime, and the staff seemed busy. I love Soki soba, so I ordered it without hesitation. It came with a generous portion of well-cooked Soki on top, served with a flavorful broth. It also came with a side of juicy, slightly seasoned rice. I also ordered a beer to go with my meal, and it was delicious. I rated it lower due to a disappointing experience with the service. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat Okinawan cuisine for the first time in a while, so I came to this restaurant. There are various Okinawan dishes that I like, but this time I had "Rafute," "Okinawa Soba," "Agg's Dashimaki Tamago," and "Somen Champuru"... The "Rafute" was tender and delicious. The menu was also extensive! For drinks, I had an "Orion Beer" and a "Shiikwaasaa Sour." The appetizers were "Mimiga" and "Mozuku," which made for a delicious start. Even though it's close to Shinjuku Station, the atmosphere and food of the restaurant made me feel like I was in Okinawa.

I visited a restaurant near Shinjuku Takashimaya for lunch for the first time. It has become one of my recent enjoyments to go out for lunch with my team members. On this day, I had Okinawa soba. The meat was tender and the soup was refreshing, making it easy to eat quickly. The steak that one of my companions ordered also looked delicious.

Recommended by my friends in Okinawa, this restaurant has authentic dishes so you can enjoy them with peace of mind. I was happy to eat tofu for the first time in a while at "Ryukyu Kingdom". I ended up getting a little tipsy from drinking too much awamori. I will definitely come back again!

Located about a 2-minute walk from the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station on the JR Yamanote Line, "Paikaji Shinjuku Shinnan-guchi" is a popular Okinawan restaurant. With its main store in Okinawa and a total of 10 branches in Okinawa (7), Tokyo (2), and Saitama (1), this time I visited for lunch for the first time. When I ordered Okinawa soba, it came with Okinawan mixed rice called "juushii" as well. It's all-you-can-eat, so I couldn't help but go for seconds, haha. I also ordered Goya Champuru as a side dish. The cute kamaboko (fish cake) in the Okinawa soba was light and very delicious. The juushii was also tasty, and I ended up getting a second serving, haha. The Goya Champuru had just the right amount of bitterness from the goya (bitter melon) and was really good. Next time, I want to enjoy it with a glass of awamori in hand, haha.

This restaurant is probably run by a Okinawan owner. They have around 10 locations, mostly in Okinawa, with a few in Tokyo and one in Saitama. In Okinawa, you can enjoy live performances with a sanshin while eating. It's really wonderful. I love Okinawan folk songs. It seems like it would be really fun if someone played the sanshin. This Shinjuku location doesn't seem to offer that, but I went there for lunch. It was a bit late for lunch. The restaurant is on the third floor of a long building, accessed by a small elevator. Inside, the restaurant is quite spacious with several raised tatami seating areas. The decor features Okinawan red tiles and Shisa statues, creating a nice atmosphere. Since it was lunchtime, I refrained from drinking Awamori or Orion beer. I ordered Soki Soba and chose Shikuwasa juice from a few drink options. The portion of Soki was decent, but overall, the flavor felt a bit bland. Perhaps the soup lacked richness. There was no red pickled ginger either. The juice was mostly ice in the glass, making it very watery. Shikuwasa juice is expensive, so it's understandable, but it was a bit disappointing. I felt a little bit deceived, but I still enjoy Soki Soba. It had been a while since I had it, so I was able to enjoy it somewhat... I have only visited Okinawa twice. I strongly feel like going again after a long time.

I will have lunch at an Okinawan restaurant located on the upper floor of a building just across the street from JR Shinjuku Station's New South Exit. Upon exiting the elevator and entering the restaurant, I was greeted by staff in traditional Okinawan attire, but the interior was unusually dark for lunchtime, which dampened my mood. I was seated in a raised area and asked to remove my shoes, which seemed a bit inconvenient for a lunch setting. I ordered the Okinawan steak set meal for 1000 yen. Okinawans apparently enjoy eating steak as a final dish after drinking, so I wanted to experience that during lunch. It took quite some time for the food to arrive, but when it did, it was served on a sizzling hot plate along with goya (bitter melon), mimiga (pig ear), and mozuku (seaweed) side dishes, creating a true Okinawan dining atmosphere. The steak, placed on a bed of bean sprouts, was said to be 200g, but it didn't seem like a large portion due to being sliced. However, it turned out to be quite filling. As I continued eating, my jaw started to tire, but considering the price, a little challenge was to be expected. I left the restaurant feeling like I would have enjoyed it more at night with some awamori (Okinawan distilled spirit).

It had been a while since I last visited Paikaji. I remember seeing their shop on Kokusai Street in Okinawa, so I was curious to try their authentic flavors. This time, I ordered their usual Fu Chanpuru set meal (920 yen) with Sanpin tea. When in doubt, this is my go-to choice. The seasoning is just right and the flavor of the seasoned gluten and spam goes well with the rice. The unique texture and broth of Okinawa soba are also delicious. The problem is that the Fu Chanpuru is so good that it's hard to choose anything else. It was delicious.
