In the early afternoon, two of us had lunch on the second floor, enjoying the spacious atmosphere. The knife-cut noodles with spare ribs we came for were also well received by my colleague. They seem addictive. We also shared shrimp dumplings and congee. Additionally, the almond jelly dessert was artistically delicious. The clean interior and attentive service, not typical of Chinese restaurants, were also great. There is a variety of desserts available, which would likely be appreciated by women as well. It seems like a restaurant that would be well-received by everyone.

In a previous review, I praised this restaurant, but this time the service was quite slow. I ordered the same dim sum set as before. It was a hot day, but they immediately served me knife-cut noodles before offering iced water or tea. They didn't pay attention to the pace at which I was eating, and even after finishing the dim sum, they didn't move, so I had to ask for the check. They mentioned serving almond jelly and coffee after, but the timing was off. With only a few tables in the restaurant, they should have been more attentive. I declined and left. The food was the same as last time, but the impression was completely different. Service is definitely an important factor.

Visited the restaurant for the first time with a colleague. We were asked to choose between a yakiniku restaurant in the same building or Hong Kong dim sum at Unkai. We chose Unkai and ordered the dim sum set for ¥1,580. The half portion of tantan knife-cut noodles was surprisingly filling and delicious. The soft texture of the noodles paired well with the flavorful soup. The dim sum was also tasty, and we finished off with almond jelly and coffee. Overall, we were satisfied with the meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I made a reservation for 2:00 pm and arrived at the restaurant. Since it was past lunchtime, the restaurant was empty. I wish they had given me a spacious table, but I ended up sitting at a small table for one. I started with half portion of spicy tantan noodles. I don't like star anise, so I was worried about the meat, but I couldn't taste the star anise flavor and the spiciness was almost non-existent. It was easy to eat. However, the noodles absorbed the soup quickly, so towards the end, there was almost no soup left. It's better to eat it quickly. Next, I had dim sum including char siu bao, custard bun, chive and shrimp dumplings, and crab meat dumplings. They were all delicious with well-balanced flavors. Lastly, I had almond jelly for dessert and complimentary coffee (hot or iced). The coffee was available for takeout, which was convenient. The jasmine tea was easy to drink, and the overall experience was good. It's about a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi. You can use points, it's casual, and overall a convenient restaurant to visit.

I made a same-day reservation through Ikkyu at noon on Sunday and went to the restaurant. We ordered a dim sum platter with shrimp and pork dumplings, char siu buns, and custard buns, along with a set of spicy knife-cut noodles. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a small dining area on the first floor. The decor included wooden lattice ceilings with stylish downlights. The tables were set with light green non-woven tablecloths and dark pink teacups, which looked cute. We were served complimentary jasmine tea in small glass teapots. The mini-sized knife-cut noodles were packed with noodles and had a fun texture. The dim sum, especially the shrimp dumplings, were deliciously plump. I also enjoyed the rich, homemade-style custard filling in the custard buns. They even served coffee with almond jelly for dessert. Overall, the restaurant offered great value for money and we left feeling very satisfied.

A calm restaurant located just a little past the hustle and bustle, about a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. They offer around 10 types of dim sum, including classic items like xiaolongbao, dumplings, shumai, and daikon mochi, as well as items like rice noodle rolls and char siu pie. Each dish has a reliable and simply delicious taste. They also have a variety of side dishes, such as fried eggplant with sansho pepper and stir-fried greens with clams, which were both delicious. We finished our meal with knife-cut noodles. We had about 8 dim sum dishes, 2 side dishes, and 8 drinks for two people, totaling around 6,000 yen per person. Considering how much we ate and drank, we found it to be reasonably priced. The spacious table and attentive service made for a great dining experience.

A Hong Kong dim sum restaurant that opened last summer. The lunch menu starts at ¥1180, slightly higher than the average in the area. I ordered a half portion of spicy dan dan noodles and a half portion of fried rice set for ¥1180. The noodles were spicy but surprisingly mild and tasty. The fried rice was colorful with vegetables and had a subtle, elegant flavor. Despite being half portions, the meal was quite filling. After the meal, we were served almond tofu and coffee as a complimentary dessert. The almond tofu was rich and flavorful. Overall, the set was reasonably priced and satisfying. #Shinbashi #ShinbashiLunch #DimSum #DanDanNoodles #FoodLog

Last fall, this restaurant opened with the 3rd and 4th floors serving yakiniku and teppanyaki, the 5th floor housing a bar, and the kitchen located underground, all under the same owner. The interior is simple, but the Chinese cuisine is solid, with lunch dim sum that may be pre-made, but has a substantial filling and volume that will surprise you. It's also a great value for the quality. It was an unexpected encounter.

It seems like a dim sum restaurant run by a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) place. I had the lunch set with half tantan knife-cut noodles and four dim sum dishes along with almond jelly. I thought that if my friend who knows Chinese cuisine well saw this, they would probably make some comments, and I was right, they already did. The noodles and dim sum were both served hot and tasted like they were made with care, not in the local style but with a Japanese twist. It reminded me in a good way of a chain restaurant called "Bamiyan." A few other people also mentioned it, but the service provided by the lady working alone on the first floor was very polite and made me feel welcomed, contributing to an overall positive experience. I felt like it added about 0.2 to the overall rating.

A dim sum restaurant on the first floor of a building that opened last autumn on Shinbashi and Karasumori Street. Many people seem to be put off by the lunch prices that don't seem typical of Shinbashi, and the fact that the interior is visible from outside, so I initially decided to skip it for lunch. However, they have now started offering a la carte lunch options, installed blinds on the windows, applied the Minato-ku QR payment campaign, and posted a last order time of 3:00 pm. I returned from the station at 2:30 pm and entered the restaurant to find four other customers already seated. I was given the choice of any seat, but there were only two options, so I chose a seat by the window (far from the other tables). I ordered the "Spicy Knife-Cut Noodles" for 1,180 yen and a craft beer, "Hitachino Nest Yuzu Lager," for 880 yen. The noodles came with the option of adding coriander, and I chose the lunch service jasmine tea. The beer was served quickly and with less foam than expected. It had a noticeable yuzu aroma. The jasmine tea arrived as well, making the meal feel more luxurious. The noodles were served in a bowl after about seven minutes, and I used the apron provided to avoid splashing. The spiciness was not overwhelming, and I enjoyed the thickness and chewiness of the noodles. The portion was generous, and I left feeling full. The minced meat was also delicious. I was able to pay with a QR code, and despite the posted last order time of 3:00 pm, the restaurant closed promptly at 3:00 pm. Overall, my visit lasted about 30 minutes.

I was planning to go to a different restaurant, but it was closed for dim sum, so I searched nearby and found this place! Everything in the photo was delicious! Especially the char siu pie♡ It was freshly baked and crispy, so delicious♡ I wanted to order one more!

First of all, the staff at the restaurant were very polite and nice. The food was not exceptional, but it was delicious. The "cheers" bubbles came in a bottle instead of a glass, so it felt more like drinking through the course rather than toasting. The layout of the restaurant is a bit strange... The kitchen is on a separate floor, and the food comes down in a food elevator. The glass facing the street is frosted, so you can't really see the hustle and bustle of Shinbashi. However, you can still see below, so you can tell when people are wandering around in front of the restaurant. Overall, even with dishes like shark fin or Peking duck, there isn't a lot of luxury feel.

The restaurant has a cafe-like atmosphere and is well-ventilated with the open terrace. The menu offers several types of knife-cut noodles, which is unusual for a dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong, so I was already feeling disappointed as it didn't seem authentic. The BBQ pork pie was served completely cold, with even the pastry being chilled, so it was not very enjoyable. However, the steamed dumplings and siu mai were surprisingly good. Despite the high prices, the dishes were decently prepared, but they could be even tastier if they used fewer seasonings. Dim sum restaurants often use some seasonings, but many newer places tend to overdo it. I realized that the dim sum at this restaurant is exactly the same as at another high-end restaurant in Meguro. I wonder if they have the same management or are somehow related.

In September 2022, for dinner, I went to a restaurant in Shinbashi called "Hong Kong Dim Sum Unkai." The restaurant had just opened on September 13th and offers authentic Hong Kong dim sum in a stylish cafe-like atmosphere. I tried various dishes such as steamed shrimp dumplings, honeycomb tripe with peanut curry sauce, xiaolongbao, stir-fried pea shoots, steamed chicken feet with chili bean sauce, steamed scallop and shrimp shumai, and vegetable knife-cut noodles. The dishes were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I ended my meal with a seasonal fruit parfait. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and I recommend this restaurant for casual dining or gatherings.

I'm actually a fan of hidden Chong Fan (Cheung Fun) and I was checking out this place because they have a wide variety of dim sum. It's a restaurant located on the outskirts of Shinbashi, with a yakiniku and bar in the same building. The first floor of the restaurant looks like a cafe, making it easy for women to enter. Since it was lunchtime, I skipped the Chong Fan and ordered the spicy sword-cut noodles and a dim sum assortment. The dim sum was not the best quality, more like hotel-style dim sum. The sword-cut noodles were oddly warm (maybe they were transported from the kitchen on the second floor by a lift?), but the noodles themselves were thinner than regular sword-cut noodles, yet still had a good chewy texture, which I liked. However, the restaurant is quite narrow and the sound echoes a lot. When two loud groups were present, it was quite uncomfortable, so it might be better to visit during off-peak hours for lunch.

I found this place while taking a stroll to have lunch. Although it's a bit pricey for lunch, the Hong Kong-style yakisoba set comes with tea, salad, almond jelly, and coffee, so I think the price is reasonable. It was delicious. I will definitely visit again.

I am Chinese, so I can only say that this restaurant is not very authentic. First of all, it is definitely not run by Hong Kong people, and it may not even be run by Cantonese people from the south. The main dish at this Cantonese cuisine restaurant is actually noodles from northern China. It's hard to believe they don't have popular Hong Kong drinks like iced lemon tea. Also, the prices are not cheap, and the value for money is low. I do not recommend it.

I heard that a dim sum restaurant opened, so I went to check it out. The restaurant is located on the first and second floors of a building, with dim sum on the upper floor and a affiliated yakiniku restaurant and bar. The dim sum menu includes items like xiaolongbao, shrimp dumplings, flat rice noodles, fried rice, and other standard dishes. The xiaolongbao comes in a steamer with three pieces, and the skin is not too thin, so it doesn't tear easily and can be eaten smoothly. The dessert menu includes almond tofu, as well as non-traditional options like cheesecake and seasonal fruit parfaits. I might try them out someday.
