The atmosphere here is great, the service is good, and the food is delicious, so I was very satisfied. I visited on a Friday night and the restaurant was full, probably because it was the start of a new school term. There were plenty of seasonal limited-time menu options. The sashimi had a wide variety. I ordered healthy dishes like simmered daikon radish, deep-fried eggplant, and deep-fried tofu, which gave a very traditional Japanese feel. This restaurant is perfect for a date, but the table seats can be quite lively, so I recommend sitting at the counter for a date. Being able to keep a bottle is also nice. The food was so good that I ended up ordering a bottle of Hakushu whiskey and drank too much. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for the counter. The atmosphere was very nice. Both the drinks and the food were delicious. A little disappointing thing was that there was a gap in the service of the second drink, and I wanted to call the staff but couldn't speak loudly, so I felt like I wasted time waiting.

I visited a lively and bustling izakaya after a long time! There were 5 customers from the brewery and 3 staff members, a total of 8 people. We enjoyed course dishes and sake, but I forgot to take a photo so I only have a picture of the entrance, sorry. We had seafood-based appetizers and sushi. The selection of Japanese sake was excellent, including brands from Mie, Chiba, Ibaraki, Yamagata, and Miyagi prefectures.

After drinking, we decided to have a second round at this izakaya called "Sen'gyo Nihonshu Edowan". It's about a 1-minute walk from Ginza Station and maybe 3-4 minutes from JR Yurakucho Station. The restaurant is located in the basement, near the back of Tokyu Plaza Ginza, in what I like to call Ramen Street (lol). It seems to be part of a chain operated by a company called J Group Holdings, based in Nagoya. The atmosphere is described as sophisticated and modern Japanese, with a focus on bonito dashi and Kagoshima Star Pork shabu-shabu, as well as fresh seasonal fish. The interior is indeed modern and slightly dimmed, creating a stylish ambiance. For our second round, we ordered some light dishes to accompany our sake. The table charge is 550 yen per person if you're not getting a course menu. We had some smoked potato salad with Kinuza mackerel and Iburi Gakko, a sashimi platter, and crispy potato fries with nagaimo. We also enjoyed a selection of sake including Eastern Beauty, Suikei, and Saku. The potato salad was delicious, with a nice balance of flavors from the smoked Iburi Gakko and mackerel. The sashimi platter featured five different types of fish, all fresh and nicely sliced. The nagaimo fries had a crunchy texture and were seasoned with nori for a hint of umami. Overall, the restaurant offers a great selection of fresh fish and a cozy atmosphere, making it suitable for a casual gathering with friends or colleagues. The focus on quality ingredients and attention to detail in the dishes make it a great spot for enjoying Japanese cuisine and sake.

I made a reservation at the ideal restaurant for sake lovers on Friday at 6:30 pm. Although it was not a private room, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very good. I forgot to take a photo of the shabu-shabu, but it was the most delicious! I was impressed by the fact that there were delicious brands available for all-you-can-drink sake lovers, so I highly recommend it!!

The other day, I went to this izakaya called "Sengyo Nihonshu Edowan". It's about a 1-minute walk from Ginza Station. It's about a 3-4 minute walk from JR Yurakucho Station. The restaurant is located underground, near the back of Tokyu Plaza Ginza, in what I like to call Ramen Street. It seems to be one of the restaurants operated by a company called Jay Group Holdings, based in Nagoya. They seem to manage a mix of chain-like izakayas and individually operated shops with unique characteristics. We were there for a second round, and I made the reservation and led the way. The atmosphere is sophisticated and modern Japanese, with a slight dimming of the lights. It's a stylish place, suitable for a date or a gathering with friends or colleagues. The seafood here is really good. We had already eaten a lot during the first round, so we opted for lighter dishes and some sake. There is a table charge of 550 yen per person if you're not ordering a course. We started with a smoked potato salad with Kinu Gensaba and Iburi Gakkon, which was really good. Then we had a sashimi platter with five types of fish, all thickly sliced and delicious. The restaurant takes pride in its special golden dashi, made by shaving dried bonito flakes from Nipponham every day to use in their dishes. We also enjoyed some Japanese sake, including the exclusive Junmai Ginjo Toyo Bijin and Kazeno Mori. Toyo Bijin is a famous sake from Sumikawa Sake Brewery in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. They offer a nice selection of sake cups to choose from, which can add to the fun of the experience. It's a great place to enjoy good food, sake, and a stylish atmosphere.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and everything was delicious. The blowfish dish I had was so good that I couldn't believe it. It was a well-deserved treat for myself after working hard for a year. I'll work hard again and next time, I'll use my own money to go there. 😂✨

I had a course with all-you-can-drink option that included some famous sake, including Junmai Ginjo. It's a great deal for those who enjoy drinking sake. The food was delicious, with smaller portion sizes, making it a good choice for those who want to focus on drinking. We were able to secure a private room, so we could enjoy our meal in peace.

The all-you-can-drink menu started with a sparkling wine toast ☆ They keep bringing more drinks. First course ☆ Enoki and greens in broth ^^ Sashimi platter ☆ A variety of fresh fish. Haven't been eating much fish lately so it was a treat ~ Draft beer ☆ As an a la carte dish, we ordered Katsuo Tataki Salad (900 yen) ☆ Served in two portions! Delicious bonito. Steamed dish ☆ Chawanmushi, comforting. Sogohana Super Special Junmai Ginjo ☆ Grilled dish ☆ Fish marinated in Saikyo miso. Can't remember the type of fish but it was delicious ~ Goes well with sake ~ Lotus root chips are also nice. Two a la carte dishes we ordered arrived. Aji Fry (400 yen) ☆ Large aji fry cut into pieces. Simply delicious ~ Dashimaki Tamago (650 yen) ☆ Beautiful. Rolled omelette with dashi sauce. Fluffy and full of dashi flavor ^^ I also had a taste of my companion's portion. Kido KID Junmai from Kii ☆ And the main dish! Hot pot ☆ Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu with dashi. Enjoy with oboro kelp and yuzu pepper. Kurobuta pork belly and ~ ^^ The vegetables are mushrooms, bean sprouts, green onions, and lettuce. And you can actually get a refill of this dish!! (2020.09.16) There is a shop with a sign that says "fish" along the Urasukiyacho Street behind Tokyu Plaza Ginza, and it seems like they offer delicious dishes. Today, I decided to visit this place as my recent lunches have been meat-heavy. The staircase leading down from the entrance is surprisingly spacious, and the luxurious atmosphere with thick natural wood table tops creates a Japanese-modern space. I took a seat at the back of the restaurant, where there were plush sofas and warm lighting, creating a relaxing ambiance. I decided to try the "Today's Grilled Fish and Sashimi Set," which was limited to 5 servings. The grilled fish turned out to be silver cod, which was grilled in the Kyoto style to remove excess fat, leaving a rich flavor with a hint of miso that paired well with rice. The sashimi consisted of bonito, amberjack, and cuttlefish, all with a fine texture and delicious flavor. The Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) from "Ninben," a company with over 300 years of history, was served in a large wooden box. I followed the recommendation to add it to miso soup and sprinkle it on rice, and both ways brought out the umami flavor beautifully. The sight of the thinly shaved bonito flakes dancing on the hot soup was beautiful, and the taste was even more delightful, especially when sprinkled on rice as "neko manma."

I visited a restaurant located behind Tokyu Plaza Ginza that recently started serving lunch. The spacious and stylish interior has both table and counter seats. I ordered the Mixed Fry Set for ¥1,000, which arrived in about 10 minutes. The set included fried horse mackerel, squid, and shrimp with a generous portion and a tasty tartar sauce. It also came with bonito flakes from "Ninben," a specialty shop in Nihonbashi. The balance between price and quality was excellent. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I had a dinner at Edowan, a fresh fish and Japanese sake restaurant in Ginza. We descended the stairs to the basement of a beautiful building facing the back of Tokyu Plaza. We were guided to a private room at the back where we had reserved. This time, we had a course meal with all-you-can-drink option. The January course included unlimited servings of Dassai sake. We started with a toast with sparkling wine. The meal included various dishes such as assorted sashimi, fried chicken with leeks, mackerel sushi, tempura with shrimp and conger eel, and scallop and yam rice. The atmosphere was calm and we were able to enjoy a leisurely Japanese meal. It was a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant is one of the few places that meets the criteria of being a nice atmosphere, offering all-you-can-drink sake at a reasonable price. They also have a wide variety of dishes, surpassing other restaurants in this aspect. It's recommended for those who enjoy sake and want to have a good time with friends. Thank you for the meal!

When in trouble, I always go to Edowan. The course here is quite a bargain. It includes a welcome drink, fresh sashimi, seasonal side dishes, and shabu-shabu, with udon and dessert to finish. The sashimi, especially the bream, is fatty and goes well with soy sauce. The hot pot has a rich and delicious broth. I enjoyed a glass of Hakurakusei sake and had a great day. Grateful.

A friend recommended a restaurant that caught my interest, so I visited Edowan for some Japanese cuisine and seafood. As I descended the stairs and entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a lovely and modern Japanese atmosphere. The clientele that day was mostly women. The tables and sofas were comfortable and stylish. We started with a toast with beer and ordered some sashimi, which was delicious. The portions were small but we ended up trying four different kinds. The potato salad was also tasty. We also enjoyed dishes like grilled salmon collar and grilled ayu with roe, which paired well with our drinks. The restaurant served a complimentary appetizer and bonito flakes, which were a perfect match with any dish. We were usually more into drinking than eating, but at Edowan, the food was so good that we couldn't help but indulge. It was a delightful experience. We wished they had some sour or less sweet mixers for our drinks. We would have loved to try more dishes like hot pot and rice cooked in a pot. We will definitely be back for more next time.

I had made a reservation to enjoy delicious Japanese sake, and even though it was around 7 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was almost full and very lively. The high ceiling and stylish interior created a beautiful atmosphere. The menu had so many delicious options that I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up ordering a sashimi platter, avocado and crab tartare, and shabu-shabu, all of which were truly delicious! They had freshly shaved bonito flakes on the table, allowing you to sprinkle as much as you like on your food, which was a nice touch. The Japanese sake was also incredibly delicious. Despite being busy, the staff were always attentive and made the dining experience very pleasant. I definitely want to go back again!

I visited the restaurant at 7:00 p.m. on a regular day. It is a Japanese modern and calm adult space izakaya located about a 1-minute walk from "Ginza Station" on the basement floor of Sukiyabashi Building. The restaurant has a total of 72 seats, making it a medium-sized establishment. During my visit, it was managed by 5 hall staff. I ordered the following items this time, and here is the content and evaluation: - Appetizer (500 yen) - Spinach ohitashi: Served as a complimentary dish with shaved bonito flakes from the long-established "Ninben" in Nihonbashi. - Nagaimo wasabi pickles (450 yen): Soy sauce pickled nagaimo with a strong wasabi flavor, a tempting cold starter. - Assorted sashimi plate (5 kinds) (1200 yen): Including chutoro, kanburi, and hiramasa, all with delicious fatty texture. - Grilled Oyama chicken thigh with rock salt (950 yen): Juicy and fatty thigh meat from Tottori, perfect with yuzu pepper. - Grilled blackthroat seaperch with salt (1500 yen): Slightly undercooked, but flavorful seaperch. - Snow crab and salmon roe mixed rice (1.5 cups) (1600 yen): A 40-minute cooked rice dish with separate ikura topping. I also enjoyed a draft Premium Malt beer (650 yen). The background music was jazz, and the clientele consisted mostly of business people. The occupancy rate was about 80%, with females making up around 30%. At the time of my visit, the restaurant had a rating of 3.06 on Tabelog. The restaurant is managed by Jay Group Holdings, and as a shareholder (owning 100 shares at 789 yen each), you receive 2000 yen worth of gift certificates twice a year. Therefore, the hidden title of this review is "Aim to be the shareholder benefit king, Mr. Kiriyama @ Sukiyabashi". Thank you for the meal!

In the summer of 2017, nobuta was exploring lunch spots around Tokyu Plaza when they came across a new restaurant called "Edowan" that exuded a luxurious Japanese vibe. They discovered that the restaurant was offering a special lunch menu only during the New Year period. Excited about this opportunity, nobuta and their wife decided to try out the lunch options. The restaurant had a stylish and spacious interior with excellent lighting and friendly staff. They ordered the sashimi and fry lunch sets, which turned out to be delicious. The miso soup was flavorful with plenty of ingredients, and the sashimi and fry dishes were also top-notch. Despite the reasonable prices for the dinner courses, nobuta was impressed by the quality of the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. They mentioned considering using the private rooms for a special event in the future. Overall, they had a great dining experience at Edowan.
