The foreign staff at the restaurant were very polite. They promptly attended to our orders without delay, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. On the other hand, I felt that the service provided by the Japanese staff was not as good, which was disappointing.

All the meat was very delicious!! I ordered my favorite items individually. The enoki mushrooms were thick and tasty!! I was able to make a reservation on the same day, so I want to go again.

Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus, I was the only customer. I chose the all-you-can-eat option for lunch, although I didn't have high expectations for the quality of the meat. As I had imagined, the basic kombu dashi soup was basically just hot water. The sesame sauce was also subpar, tasting like something you could buy at a store. Despite there being two staff members for just one customer, it was still a hassle to place additional orders. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. I hope this serves as a reference for your restaurant choices.

I used a coupon to visit. It's consistent. Delicious! The vegetables are fresh, the service is fast, and the food is tasty.

The restaurant is smaller and less clean compared to other hot vegetable restaurants, which is a bit disappointing.

I suddenly felt like eating hot vegetables. I made a reservation this time because I couldn't get in twice in a row. They said they could seat us at a cold table near the entrance. It's hot pot season, so it can't be helped. However, I felt that the service was not very polite. We arrived around 9 pm, and a few other groups came after us. The same staff member was clearly responding with different energy levels, and my friend and I, who were closest to the entrance, were left with question marks above our heads. It felt like the store adjusted their service based on the customers. I like the menu at Warm Vegetables and the cost performance is good, so I want to go again, but... When I visited after a long time, they had added new menu items, which was enjoyable.

Shabu-shabu Onyasai @ Ueno. This time, I ordered the all-you-can-eat course only. I chose the standard course with two types of broth - spicy hot pot broth and kelp broth! It's a bit tricky to mix the broths with the table next to you, so it's best not to be too greedy. The evening harvest vegetable assortment was a great start! The recommended appetizer was the salted cabbage Italian Momotaro. Cold dishes are perfect for refreshing your palate. I ate a lot of meat, but here are some standout ingredients: Kitsune Mochi, Italian mushrooms, Veggie Potato Sweet Potato - these were all very sweet and almost like desserts. Tteokbokki - order extra because it's a popular choice. Fish Udon - the texture was surprising! It was firm and tasted like fish cake! Chewy water dumplings with melty cheese - women will definitely love this! Cheese shabu-shabu - be careful, as it can melt quickly, but if it's too firm, it won't taste good, so take your time to eat it at the right moment. Shrimp balls - they contain a lot of sakura shrimp! But they are quite fragile, so make sure to cook them thoroughly before eating. I finished with tantan noodles in the spicy hot pot broth and egg rice porridge in the kelp broth. For dessert, I chose the Daizu MONAKA. This time, my order was promptly served, but if you're waiting for a long time, it's a good idea to inquire about it!

When I ordered the most expensive course, I was able to eat all the menu items! There were domestic wagyu beef, pork, chicken, and desserts available! The sesame sauce blended with truffles was delicious! However, it was disappointing that the explanations from the staff were confusing. One staff member said that additional meat was included in the all-you-can-eat option, but another staff member mentioned that the pork was not included and would be charged separately as part of a promotion. I felt misled as I was initially told everything was included. Despite this, I ordered the pork as a one-time exception, but it never arrived at our table! I understand that the staff are busy, but since I made a reservation, I expected a better level of service, so I rated it slightly lower. The meat in the 4,980 yen course was quite delicious for the price!

I love shabu-shabu, so I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night around 8:30 PM. I didn't have a reservation, but they offered me a seat at the counter. The restaurant was small, with a few table seats, a counter with 6 seats, and a small tatami room for about 10 people. We opted for the recommended all-you-can-eat beef and pork for 90 minutes, and the total bill for two people was around 6300 yen. The drink was also all-you-can-drink, and all the vegetables were all-you-can-eat. We could choose up to 2 types of broth, and we chose the spicy hot pot broth and kombu broth. The hot pot broth was quite spicy. The foie gras sesame sauce went well with the meat and was delicious. Since it's a chain restaurant, I didn't have high expectations for the meat, but it was surprisingly decent. The side dishes were also all-you-can-eat, which was a nice touch. These chain restaurants often have a newsletter subscription service that offers coupons, which can be a bit of a hassle. I ended up signing up without really knowing if it made the meal cheaper. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

I visited a restaurant that was featured on a TV show recently, which is part of the same group as "Shabu Shabu Onyasai" and "Gyukaku". This is my second visit, which means I liked it the first time. I ordered the same menu as last time, the "Tonkotsu motsu shabu shabu and all-you-can-eat beef and pork". Various dipping sauces are brought to the table, and while waiting, I prepare the sauces following the recipes provided. The hot pot arrives with two types of soup, tonkotsu and basic kombu. The basic ingredients for the course are also included. I accidentally ordered all types of meat available in the course, which is too much for me to finish. The reason I come here is because of the variety of vegetables you can eat. So, I order more vegetables than meat. There are so many types of vegetables available (some are not included in the all-you-can-eat option). This place is great for eating lots of vegetables. Other than that, it's pretty average. It's like the vegetable version of "Gyukaku". It's recommended for when you want to eat warm vegetables on a cold day.

This is a really popular restaurant. There is also a branch in Ueno Hirokoji, and both locations quickly fill up with customers. Even though it was a Monday, by 7pm, the place was already full. We ordered the "All-you-can-eat beef shabu-shabu and pork mochi course." At first, a small amount of vegetables and meat are brought to the table, but you can also order a la carte within the menu range. The shabu-shabu pot is divided like a hot pot, with broth inside. You swish the meat in the broth. Shabu-shabu has evolved in various ways. However, whether the broth matches the meat is another issue. If the broth is too strong, the meat's flavor may not come through. The traditional image of shabu-shabu is quickly swishing the meat in boiling water and dipping it in ponzu sauce, but here the broth itself has a flavor. It might be better to think of this as a different type of food. It's more like Chinese-style shabu-shabu (hot pot). If you prioritize a melt-in-your-mouth texture for the meat, you may be disappointed despite the price. If you want a more traditional shabu-shabu experience, it's better to try a different restaurant. The shabu-shabu-style warm vegetables are evolving. If you think of it as a new type of hot pot, you may not be surprised.

I had been curious about Atsu-Numa for a while, but never had the chance to go. Finally, I visited the restaurant recently. I have very little experience eating shabu-shabu at a restaurant, so when we entered, my friend and I spent quite some time studying the menu. We decided to go for the all-you-can-eat course with both pork and beef. Initially, a set amount of meat was brought to us, and after we finished that, we could order more of our choice. The quality of the meat was good and easy to eat, so we felt like we could eat a lot. The all-you-can-eat menu also included a variety of vegetables, which we enjoyed throughout the meal. However, as the restaurant got busier, the time it took for our orders to be served increased, and we got a bit frustrated at one point. Despite this, we managed to eat our fill before the time limit, so it turned out fine in the end. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying, and I think the quality was good. If you're planning to visit Atsu-Numa, it might be best to choose a less crowded location to avoid any potential delays. (laughs)

I went with three friends and the price was great. We were able to order a lot of food and eat until we were full, almost too full. It's perfect for large groups or family gatherings. The food was delicious and we could choose the flavor of the hot pot soup, so we didn't get tired of it. Being able to choose rice, udon, or ramen for the finishing touch was also great. We had a lot of fun and would love to go back. If you enjoy eating a lot of food and drinking with a large group of people, definitely give it a try!

I gave up on a shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat restaurant after a 2-hour wait before. I came to Ueno for some errands and decided to give it another try. The restaurant is located near Ueno Station, right by the Ameyoko entrance. It was past 9:30 pm, so I thought I could get in quickly, but there was still a wait. They took my phone number and asked me to wait outside until a table was available. I was so hungry as I hadn't eaten since noon! After about 20 minutes, they called me in. I got a table right by the entrance, with the restroom right next to it, but it didn't bother me too much. I ordered the all-you-can-eat course, which included both beef and pork. You could choose from 2 types of broth, and I went with the standard kombu dashi and yuzu salt dashi. There were more options than the last time I was there! The place was crowded, but I didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, which was good. Even though it was late, there were still 5-6 groups waiting, and some had to leave because it was full. There were more appetizer options on the all-you-can-eat menu, and I was browsing through them at first, but ended up getting too full to try everything. The "Cherry Tomato with Salt Koji" was basically just cherry tomatoes. The "Quail Egg with Flavored Soy Sauce" was delicious. I ordered some spicy udon noodles as a closer, but they were spicier than I expected, so I couldn't finish them. I wanted to order a dessert with makgeolli, but it was sold out, so I ended up having a choux ice cream. The staff didn't have much of a smile, but they were attentive and nice overall. I left satisfied. I had to rush to catch the last train.

It is a 5-minute walk from Ueno Station, on the opposite side of Ameyoko across the railway tracks. The first floor is a karaoke place, and there is a small outdoor staircase leading to the second floor where the restaurant is located. The interior of the restaurant is a bit small, with a few 2-person tables and a few sunken kotatsu-style seating areas. If you go with a group of 5 or more, it can feel a bit cramped. It tends to get fully booked on weekends, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance. The menu offers both a la carte options and all-you-can-eat courses, with various courses available depending on the type of meat you choose. I have visited this restaurant twice recently and tried the 5 types of beef and pork course as well as the 3 types of premium pork course. Both courses allow you to choose 2 out of 8 soup options. Personally, I recommend the spicy oil and curry soups. The "Umami Beef" is tender and delicious, with a unique flavor that sets it apart. The pork kalbi was also a favorite, and I ended up eating quite a lot. The restaurant also offers a variety of side dishes, such as cucumber with spicy cod roe and mayonnaise, and stick-shaped cabbage core with miso dip, which are delicious. The hot pot also includes unique items like water dumplings, but the highlight for me was the mozzarella cheese. It melts beautifully in the soup and tastes amazing. The soft drink selection is also impressive, with unlimited black oolong tea being a popular choice. I particularly enjoyed the grapefruit juice. For dessert, I recommend ordering the risotto with curry broth, topped with mozzarella cheese. It's a delicious combination. With so many menu options, it's hard to try everything in one visit. The staff may recommend certain dishes, and signing up for their newsletter may get you a discount. The price may seem high at over 3000 yen per person, but if you view it as an event to enjoy with friends and family, it can be worth it.

I went to Shabu Shabu Onyasai's Ueno Station front store. It's about a one-minute walk from Ueno Station. There are various menu options, so first you choose two types of broth. This time I chose the basic kombu broth and the soy milk broth. When it comes to ordering meat and vegetables, there are so many options that it's overwhelming. I tried the Andes highland pork kalbi, which was the most delicious in my opinion. I also tried other meats, but the pork belly was the simplest and the best. There were so many vegetables that I didn't know where to start. It was almost a happy dilemma. I enjoyed the meal, but the complex eating system made it difficult to know what to do. Thank you for the meal.

There is a restaurant located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building about a 3-4 minute walk from the central ticket gate of JR Ueno Station. It is very close to the station, so reservations are essential on weekends. There is often a wait of 30-60 minutes for a table. The seats near the entrance can be cold in winter due to frequent door opening, but they have high backrests and offer a sense of privacy. There are also larger tables available for parties, but seating is limited. The menu includes set meals as well as all-you-can-eat options. You can choose from several types of soup, and for an additional charge, you can enjoy two different flavors. The meal includes vegetables such as carrots, cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, leeks, onions, and meatballs in bamboo shoots, as well as dessert. The finale of the meal, the noodles in broth, is especially delicious.
