The shop's decoration is cute and has a stylish Korean vibe, which is its main selling point. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is quite like an izakaya. The cheapest all-you-can-drink option was good, not watered down. The food fills you up quickly, so be careful not to order too much.

- Atmosphere: ★★★★☆
- Customer service: ★★★☆☆
- Taste: ★★☆☆☆
- Overall rating (likelihood to revisit): ★★☆☆☆
Items ordered:
- Lunch: Samgyupsal Kimchi Jjigae set meal
- Lunch: Seafood Sundubu Jjigae set meal
The online reviews said it was an authentic taste, but is this really what authentic tastes like these days? Maybe they've made it sweeter for Japanese customers. It wasn't spicy at all, and the sweetness was disappointing. The interior seemed to cater to young people. The actual menu served was quite different from what was shown online, with many lunch options no longer available. I wanted to try the Samgyupsal set meal, but they didn't have it anymore. The biggest letdown was the rice. Today's rice was a disappointment - it was undercooked and dry. Next was the Sundubu Jjigae. The finishing touch for Sundubu Jjigae is usually the egg yolk, but it was missing! The kimchi was also lackluster, more like Chinese kimchi. The salad and bean sprout namul were delicious. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I probably won't be coming back.

I chose the Cheese Kimbap and Jeon set. The Kimbap only had cheese as filling, but it was still delicious. The Jeon was seafood-based and of high quality. The kimchi is quite spicy, so be careful. The set also comes with a drink.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It was convenient that you can make a reservation for a semi-private room for two people online. The staff were all friendly and made me feel comfortable. They provided aprons and individual bowls to prevent splashing. I ordered the "Samgyeopsal Kimchi Jjigae set meal" for ¥1,020. It came with a soft drink, bean sprout namul, kimchi, and a small salad. The portion size for the price was great. The kimchi had an authentic taste and was delicious, although quite spicy. The dish had a lot of ingredients, so it was very satisfying. The restaurant was clean, and when we arrived right after opening, we were the only customers on the weekend. But more customers started coming in around 11:30. I would definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

On this day, we went to eat Chukumi at my mother's request. I checked the menu online beforehand, but I never expected that the order would start from two servings. Since I don't often eat Korean food, I was not familiar with this. We arrived earlier than expected, even though the opening time was 11:00, so we waited for the opening by the chairs next to the elevator. After some time, we pressed the buzzer and were seated with some appetizers. Each table had a tablet where you could place your order, but it was confusing for us. Eventually, we called a staff member for help to understand what was included in the set and which items we wanted to order. That's when I realized that Chukumi could only be ordered for two servings... It was definitely too much for us to finish, but since we were already there, we had no choice. We ordered a plate of Chukumi, shrimp, and hormone, along with seafood jeon. The staff cooked the Chukumi for us, and they started cooking it immediately upon arrival, so be ready to take pictures. They cooked it efficiently, and we were able to eat it in less than 10 minutes. The taste was very delicious. The Chukumi was chewy, the shrimp was bouncy, and the hormone was chewy. You can enjoy different textures and flavors by wrapping them in lettuce or perilla leaves. Perhaps because we were there early, there weren't many customers. It was so tasty that I want to eat Chukumi again. Thank you for the meal.

Pocha is a Korean drinking establishment. The shop has a relaxed atmosphere, not like a typical street stall, and it feels clean. There is a large LCD screen at the front playing live performances of Korean idols at high volume. Some women are watching the live performances, so it seems like a place to immerse yourself in Korean pop culture. The Samgyeopsal set meal costs 1240 yen. The prices seem reasonable considering the location in Shibuya and the spacious interior of the restaurant.

Pocha is a Korean drinking establishment. The atmosphere is more like a relaxed dining place rather than a street stall, with a clean feeling. There is a large LCD screen at the front playing live performances of Korean idols at a high volume. Some women are watching the live performances, creating a Korean entertainment vibe in the restaurant. The Samgyupsal set meal costs 1240 yen. The pricing seems reasonable considering the location in Shibuya and the spacious interior of the restaurant. I ordered the set drink with Corn Silk Tea, which has a water-like texture but a corn flavor that emerges later on. It's similar to a light barley tea. Samgyupsal refers to pork belly meat with a good amount of fat that doesn't taste bad. The meat is cut into small pieces but the portion is generous, leaving you feeling satisfied. The meat is grilled slightly crispy on the edges and tastes delicious. The lettuce is surprisingly tasty. Since there is less lettuce compared to the meat, it's better to cut the lettuce and eat it with the two pieces of meat. The kimchi is not overly spicy and you can enjoy the taste of the cabbage. The soup is a gentle seaweed and nori soup, milder than a Chinese soup. Overall, I think the food is delicious. It's more of a Japanese-friendly taste rather than a traditional Korean flavor.

I loved the gag where Morita and Moriyama would tilt their heads and say "人生ポチャ" (life pocha) after watching a VTR of a restaurant featured on the morning information program "Ravitt." If you're interested, try searching "人生ポチャ 森田" on Twitter. Please note that I do not accept opinions saying it wasn't funny.

The shop is quite spacious and clean, playing K-POP music. I opted for the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course, which was cost-effective. The food is not bad. The clientele consists mostly of young groups, with lively cheers and quite noisy, so it's not suitable for a quiet drink.

#Shibuya #LifeAsAPochaPocha Cheese Kimbap Set Meal ¥1,240
A variety of Korean cuisine for lunch! I visited a Korean restaurant in Shibuya. The interior was bright, clean, and had an open atmosphere. I ordered the Pocha Cheese Kimbap set meal. This restaurant offers about 20 lunch menu options, so you can always find something you want to eat.
The Pocha Cheese Kimbap set meal includes cheese-filled kimbap, cheese balls, yangnyeom chicken, fried chicken, honey butter chicken, salad, and a drink - a luxurious set. Everything was delicious, and I left feeling full! The price for this amount of food is quite cost-effective, I think.

I went to the restaurant for lunch. I couldn't resist ordering too many things, so my friend and I ended up getting a Kimbap set plus two servings of Samgyupsal. The portions were indeed large, but the food was delicious. Also, the Yakult Makgeolli that is often featured on Instagram was tasty even for someone like me who doesn't usually drink Makgeolli.

It was late on Friday but the restaurant was crowded. After a live show, I had a light meal. I had a set of samgyeopsal and seafood jeon for a quick meetup. K-pop music videos were playing in the restaurant. I think samgyeopsal is the easiest to eat when it comes to Korean BBQ. You wrap it in lettuce so it feels light to eat. The appetizer was a huge pile of popcorn! I don't drink alcohol so it was completely unnecessary for me, sorry for leaving it uneaten. Sweat.

After work, I went to a K-POP themed restaurant with a senior colleague from work. The restaurant was located near Shibuya station, and although it was spacious, it was quite crowded. They serve Samgyupsal where the staff cooks it for you. It would be nice to have more variety of condiments, but the cost performance is good so it's acceptable! I recommend trying the onigiri where you mix and roll it yourself.

Although it is close to Shibuya Station, this hidden gem spot offers a spacious and calm space where you can enjoy Korean cuisine. The interior of the restaurant is cute and they even have semi-private rooms. The cost performance is also good! This was my second visit, and I repeated because the food is delicious. They have a large monitor, making it a trendy spot that girls would love. It can accommodate a large number of people, so this is the place to go in case of emergency!

This is a Korean restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere that is popular among female customers. It is located on the seventh floor of a building and has a spacious and relaxed interior. Orders are placed through a touch panel. I had the bibimbap set meal, which came with a large sunny-side-up egg. It tasted even better with added gochujang. When you want a hearty meal, I recommend trying something other than the set meals, like the samgyeopsal. It offers a different experience compared to the many other Korean restaurants in Shin-Okubo.

Located across from building 109 with good access. The menu is ordered through a tablet. Ordered the sought-after black-haired Wagyu Chukumi. The lunch set comes with a satisfying option of stir-fried rice as a finish. Entrusted the staff with everything, including the delicious octopus dish, which was prepared nicely. Wrapped in perilla leaves with a little mayonnaise, it created a nice contrast with the sweet and savory sauce. It wasn't heavy at all, so I could go non-stop until the end. Pairing it with the frozen Yakult Makgeolli, I felt like a Yakult lady. Here are the points that I personally liked as someone who enjoys trying out Korean restaurants: 1. The KPOP videos and music created a happy atmosphere for the ears and eyes, playing a variety of trendy songs. 2. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and visually appealing, with raised tatami seating and private rooms, making it versatile and convenient. 3. The staff, particularly the handsome servers, provided excellent service, earning high points in this category. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious Korean cuisine in Shibuya without having to go all the way to Shin-Okubo.

Located in Shibuya, "Jinsei Pocha" has a huge chandelier right in front as you walk in. It's a great spot for taking photos! I was craving samgyupsal, so I decided to visit, but to my surprise, they didn't grill it in front of us, they just warmed it up. The portion was about 6 slices, with a lot of fatty meat. My craving for samgyupsal was not satisfied. However, the lapokki and yangnyeom chicken were delicious! Especially the lapokki, it was quite spicy and good! If you're looking for authentic Korean food, I wouldn't recommend this place, but they have a lot of seating and the place doesn't smell, so it might be convenient for a last-minute meal.

Category: [Tokyo] Korean Cuisine ☆ Shibuya Lunch In Shibuya, there is another restaurant called "Seishun Pocha" which many of you may already know. Pocha refers to a Korean vinyl sheet stall, and in Seoul, I have seen young students drinking and passionately discussing until morning. The atmosphere of the vinyl sheet stall is completely different from the upscale image, but is it similar to writing "bistro" in the restaurant name? Nevertheless, the naming of "Seishun" (youth) and "Jinsei" (life) is interesting. And all the female staff are cute. When a cute girl says "Annyeonghaseyo" to you, even an old man might unintentionally respond with "Annyeonghaseyo." Watching videos of boys with makeup dancing, we arrived in no time. Ramen & Cheese Kimbap for 980 yen. In my student days, I often bought discounted seaweed rolls and instant noodles at the supermarket, and I found it troublesome to wash dishes, so I ate directly from the pot. It somehow looks stylish now, but the nostalgia remains the same. I remember trying to cover up the dry cucumber in the discounted Kappa roll with mayonnaise and eating it. Despite the change in countries, we are all the same. I also want to learn how to put on makeup and dance.

It was nice to see a different, more mature atmosphere compared to Shin-Okubo, with good-looking and polite staff. The interior of the restaurant was also clean. Although there was a variety of menu options, it was disappointing that I couldn't try the Korean specialty dish "Sundae" and that the Korean chicken was a bit more like Japanese chicken. I wish there were more varieties of Makgeolli available. I am looking forward to trying their lunch menu!

The staff were very polite and their explanations were easy to understand. The food was served quickly and all dishes were delicious, making me very satisfied. We ordered a course with all-you-can-drink for just a little over 3000 yen, which felt like a great deal.
