Today, I had a drinking party with 4 people. I was in charge of organizing it, so I decided to drink in Shinjuku Ward (details will be explained later). I was unsure of which restaurant to choose, but I found a cheap and enjoyable one!
■ Beef Kitchen Stand Shinjuku Kabukicho Branch
Located along the road in the middle of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, heading from Yasukuni Street towards Godzilla's head, this meat bar offers about 60 tapas at incredibly low prices (starting from 108 yen), making it a high-cost performance bar. Orders are placed by scanning a QR code and ordering from a smartphone. As the organizer, I ended up being the one to place the orders. Honestly, I wish someone else would do it for me...
I listened to everyone's orders, entered the quantities on my phone, and sent them. Cheers! Oh, Hoppy is really delicious. But, isn't the portion here a bit stingy?
As we chatted, dishes kept coming one after another.
◆ Specialty Beef Steak ¥319
The sizzling beef steak arrived on a hot plate, with a soy sauce-based onion sauce or a salt-based garlic sauce for you to enjoy.
◆ Thick Ham Cutlet ¥427
Wow, this ham is really thick. But, for a ham cutlet, it's okay for the ham to be thinner.
◆ Ooyama Chicken Karaage ¥328
Juicy and tender chicken unique to Ooyama chicken.
◆ Macaroni Salad ¥130
The shape, gloss, and texture... Could this be a little extra something for business use?
◆ Mushroom Ajillo ¥218
Let's also get a baguette for ¥108. It's a bit salty, so we ran out of baguette.
◆ Cheese Fluffy Omelet ¥328
A fluffy omelet with a rich taste from the cheese.
◆ Overflowing French Fries ¥152
Loved by kids and adults alike, Hoppy is a hit.
◆ Ooyama Chicken Chicken Steak ¥427
When cut with a knife, the meat juice overflows. The skin is crispy, the meat is incredibly juicy, and the sauce adds to the blissful taste.
◆ Tomato and Wiener Cheese Bake ¥328
Wiener and tomato baked on a hot plate, served hot with plenty of cheese for a rich flavor.
The reason for choosing a restaurant in Shinjuku... Actually, this month they are running a "Let's do our best! Shinjuku Support Campaign." When you pay with PayPay at participating stores in Shinjuku Ward, you get a 25% refund. A 25% discount means... If four people go, one person's portion is free. The 25% will be covered by Shinjuku Ward. There's no reason not to take advantage of this. Thanks to PayPay, we were able to drink very cheaply. Now, next month, the "Great Deal in Nakano! Point Refund Campaign with PayPay" will start. Nakano Ward is very generous, offering a 30% refund. If three people go drinking, one person's portion will be free. Let's drink a lot in Nakano Ward next month (October 2022)!
