亀有を亀歩き。
On Sunday night, my family of five went to a Japanese restaurant called Sato Tateishi, which we had never been to before. It is located near the Don Quijote Aoto store on Mito Kaido Road. We drove there, but there was an issue with the parking lot - the ceiling is extremely low, less than 1.8 meters, so cars with a higher clearance like Hiace vans cannot park there. There is an outdoor parking lot behind the store which is recommended instead.
When we entered the restaurant around 8 pm on Sunday, it was quite crowded and we had to wait for about 5 minutes for a table. We ordered a la carte items, including beef kalbi dipping soba with extra meat, Sato hot pot with soy sauce broth, Sato hot pot with chicken salt broth, Sato hot pot with kimchi broth, thick-cut pork cutlet rice bowl set (with miso soup), cheese yangnyeom chicken, cheese balls, tteokbokki with rose sauce, kids' meal at Sato Cafe x2, mini roast beef bowl, white peach frappe, french fries, mixed salad. The total came to 10589 yen.
The beef kalbi dipping soba with extra meat was a good deal for the price, but the dipping sauce lacked depth and the ingredients were lacking. The Sato hot pots had good flavor, and the thick-cut pork cutlet rice bowl was delicious with its sweet egg topping and crispy cutlet. The side menu miso soup was a large size with pumpkin in it. The Korean dishes were all delicious, especially the yangnyeom chicken with its sweet and savory sauce, and the cheese balls were a hit with the kids.
Ordering was done through a tablet, and the menu was extensive, making it hard to choose. Overall, my family, all first-time visitors, were satisfied with the experience. We look forward to trying different dishes on our next visit. Thank you for the meal.
