On Sunday night, my family of five went to a Japanese restaurant called Sato Tateishi, which we had never been to before. It is located near the Don Quijote Aoto store on Mito Kaido Road. We drove there, but there was an issue with the parking lot - the ceiling is extremely low, less than 1.8 meters, so cars with a higher clearance like Hiace vans cannot park there. There is an outdoor parking lot behind the store which is recommended instead. When we entered the restaurant around 8 pm on Sunday, it was quite crowded and we had to wait for about 5 minutes for a table. We ordered a la carte items, including beef kalbi dipping soba with extra meat, Sato hot pot with soy sauce broth, Sato hot pot with chicken salt broth, Sato hot pot with kimchi broth, thick-cut pork cutlet rice bowl set (with miso soup), cheese yangnyeom chicken, cheese balls, tteokbokki with rose sauce, kids' meal at Sato Cafe x2, mini roast beef bowl, white peach frappe, french fries, mixed salad. The total came to 10589 yen. The beef kalbi dipping soba with extra meat was a good deal for the price, but the dipping sauce lacked depth and the ingredients were lacking. The Sato hot pots had good flavor, and the thick-cut pork cutlet rice bowl was delicious with its sweet egg topping and crispy cutlet. The side menu miso soup was a large size with pumpkin in it. The Korean dishes were all delicious, especially the yangnyeom chicken with its sweet and savory sauce, and the cheese balls were a hit with the kids. Ordering was done through a tablet, and the menu was extensive, making it hard to choose. Overall, my family, all first-time visitors, were satisfied with the experience. We look forward to trying different dishes on our next visit. Thank you for the meal.

There are shops along the Mito Highway. On a Sunday, while out driving, we were looking for a place to park and found Wasaku, a Japanese restaurant. We arrived around 11 o'clock and were able to get in easily since it was just before lunchtime. We sat down and used a touch panel to place our order. After looking through the menu, we made our selections. Our order arrived shortly after. We had the thick-cut pork cutlet bowl set for 1,373 yen, the mini tempura soba rice bowl set for 1,043 yen, chawanmushi, red miso soup, and a lemon sour for 438 yen, and potato fries for 328 yen. The pork cutlet bowl was delicious. It was totally worth it. We entered the restaurant based on whether there was parking available or not, and it was not bad at all. They also offer free extra rice. By the time we left, there was a line of people waiting to get in. If you're ever in doubt, Wasaku is a good choice. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a nearby restaurant called "Washoku Sato" for lunch, as I couldn't find a shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat option nearby. I visited around 2 pm, so there were only about two other groups in the restaurant. I chose a plan that allowed me to eat everything except for the side menu. I selected two types of soup, regular bonito broth and soy milk broth. Despite the restaurant not being crowded, the service was really slow. The staff seemed indifferent, and they left the order slip on the plate of additional meat I ordered. The meat was thin, lacked flavor, and was not tasty.

It's great that you can eat plenty of tempura, sushi, cut steak, and more in addition to shabu-shabu for 10,000 yen with three adults. However, while the cost performance is good, I hope for improvements and refinements in the small details such as unfinished battleships and unevenly shaped sushi.

This is a family restaurant located along the Mito Kaido (Route 6). I arrived for an early dinner on a Saturday around 4:30 PM. When I entered, the restaurant was empty, but by the time I left at around 5:30 PM, it was full and there were customers waiting. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice - spacious seating, high ceilings, and a quiet and relaxing ambiance. Ordering is done through a touch panel, which is very convenient. I ordered the tempura bowl set, which came with zaru soba. It was decently tasty and considering the free option for a larger portion, it was good value for the price. I also ordered some fried chicken separately, which was delicious - well-seasoned and crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.

I have visited this restaurant many times but have never written a review. Have you been to other branches as well? Is it just my imagination that the taste is not as good as the other branches? The set meals, tonkatsu, tempura, and hot pot are all passable for a family restaurant. The seats are spacious and comfortable, and there are also tatami rooms in the back. This time, I tried the curry udon, which was surprisingly delicious. In Kanto, curry udon usually has pork, but this restaurant is from Kansai, so they use beef. But it's still good.

It is a shop located south of Hanachaya Station, where it meets Route 6, making it easy to find even when driving. They offer a variety of Japanese set meals, which is great because you can order a variety of small items. This type of restaurant is valuable. You can order sushi, tempura, and other items in small portions, making it a great place to visit with family. It is also good for lunch for salarymen. The taste is delicious, making you want to eat it over and over again. It's like making regular Japanese food taste even better.

Hasshoku Family Restaurant is a precious place when accompanied by elderly people, with spacious seating arrangements and partitions for a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The daily lunch specials, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays, are a great value with a generous portion of rice for free. The discounted prices for smaller portions are a thoughtful touch. In the evenings, they offer seasonal limited menus that highlight fresh ingredients. They also offer a discount around once a year. The "Satoshabu" is a must-try, and you can enjoy a variety of dishes like sushi and tempura in small portions, which is delightful.

I ordered shabu-shabu, but it took forever to arrive. The staff often forget my orders when I ask directly. They bring the wrong dishes to neighboring tables and the timing for removing plates is off. I will never go back.

This is a Japanese-style family restaurant located along the Mito Highway! I was completely enjoying my day off, and when I woke up, it was almost evening. It was hot, I didn't have the energy to visit multiple places or go far, I hadn't had lunch, and I needed something for my evening drink. So, I chose this restaurant. I also based my choice on a discount coupon I received last time from a different restaurant. I had already decided to have tempura shrimp with udon for lunch, so the only thing left was to decide on a snack for my evening drink. The tempura shrimp was delicious, so this time I decided to try something different, which was the items mentioned above. I took the food home and tried it. The tempura shrimp was good with a crispy batter and sweet, plump shrimp. I recommend getting 5 shrimp instead of 3 for a better deal. However, the gyoza was disappointing with a cheap taste, and the sauce takoyaki also lacked flavor. The "Sato Chicken" was a new item that I bought due to a 20% discount promotion, but it was soft and juicy, although the spice flavor was weak. It felt a bit bland compared to convenience store chicken. Overall, I realized that if you're looking for cheap and tasty tempura, Sato is the place to go.
