We decided to have a small farewell party combined with a New Year's gathering for the craftsmen who were working hard in Ueno. A young craftsman who recently got engaged was in charge of finding a reasonably priced restaurant with food and drinks for the occasion. The place he found was "Niku-ya no Daidokoro Ueno Koen-mae"♪ We reserved the "Premium Wagyu Deluxe Course (¥5,500)" which was slightly over our initial budget of ¥5,000 per person, but considering the variety of around 100 menu items to choose from, it seemed like a good deal. The table with a roaster comfortably seats four people, and the bench-style chairs have seats that open up for storing jackets or belongings. It's a thoughtful touch to prevent smoke or BBQ smells from sticking to clothes. Drinks are available at a bar counter where you can serve yourself both alcohol and soft drinks. However, it's always crowded, so timing is key when going for a drink refill. The food selection includes salads, meats, desserts, and more, all ordered through a self-ordering system by scanning a QR code on your smartphone. The food is served incredibly fast, within 1-2 minutes of ordering, which is crucial in a limited 120-minute time frame. The restaurant was packed, likely due to the efficient service and the freedom to drink and eat what you like without the usual formalities of pouring drinks for each other or grilling meat. The self-ordering system worked well for our workplace where there is a culture of everyone enjoying what they want without the need for such formalities. Unfortunately, I was too busy ordering on my phone to take many photos, but the quality and thickness of the meat, especially the thick-cut tongue and the chunk of Ichibo rock steak, were outstanding. On a special day, I requested to have yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and my friend made a reservation at a Wagyu beef yakiniku specialty restaurant. To my surprise, it was an all-you-can-eat course for only 6000 yen, allowing me to enjoy high-quality Japanese black beef to my heart's content! The beef tongue and harami (skirt steak) were also delicious, and there were plenty of menu options to choose from. The restaurant is recommended for both family and friends gatherings. Located in Ueno, there were many foreign customers dining there as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation for 8 people for lunch on a regular day. Once we started, we were told that we could only stay for 1 hour. There were plenty of empty seats available. The teppanyaki grills were set up for 2 people sharing 1 grill or 4 people sharing 1 grill, so we couldn't cook everything and were asked to prepare to leave due to the time limit. It felt like we were being rushed to eat without being able to enjoy the meal. Only one of the meats was delicious, the rest were disappointing. The service was monotonous and lacked smiles. I will not be going back again.

Let's enjoy yakiniku with a friend and head to Ueno. We walked from the exit of Shinobazu Pond to the meat kitchen. I did some research online beforehand. It seems like a new restaurant that recently opened. Of course, there's all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, which is a great deal! We took the elevator up to a beautiful entrance. Here, there was a fork in the road between shabu-shabu and yakiniku, and we chose yakiniku (lol). The yakiniku area had clean table seats. We opted for the yakiniku buffet (actually, it has a different name as always) with all-you-can-drink. The drink selection was self-serve, similar to what we've seen before. We grabbed beer and highballs and made a toast! This time, with the yakiniku buffet, we ate various kinds of meat, not holding back at all. Please note that I am a big eater and don't usually share, so please understand (m(_ _)m). We started grilling the tongue (^-^)/ The Black Wagyu 3-point platter had flavorful meat with a nice sweetness from the marbling. We also tried the offal meats like hormone with miso sauce. The offal meats had a sweet flavor coming from the meat itself, and the quality was good. The liver was a bit dry, but it had a delicious taste within the bitterness of the offal. The Wagyu sukiyaki meat (with egg) was delicious, thanks to my friend's effort in grilling it well and bringing out the umami flavor with the egg. The thick-cut meats had a satisfying texture and were good quality. While the meat itself was good, I felt that the sauces were a bit lacking in spiciness, which affected the richness of the meat juices. Adding a bit of spiciness might change the impression. The vegetables paired well with the sauces and bitterness, creating a delicious combination. My friend seemed obsessed with eating corn, but that's a secret between us. We enjoyed grilling various cuts of meat at our own pace. The assortment of namul and kimchi was a nice palate cleanser. If they expand the side menu, it could add another dimension to the enjoyment of the meat. With the all-you-can-drink option, we drank freely. The highballs went well with the yakiniku. There was a wide variety of soft drinks, so even children could enjoy themselves. We finished with almond jelly for a sweet and refreshing end. We enjoyed a variety of meat cuts, thank you for the meal! The restaurant interior was bright and clean, with enough space between tables to enjoy whether on a date or with family. The service was good, even though we ordered via smartphone, the young and cheerful staff were attentive. It's nice to be able to enjoy various cuts of meat, and everyone can have their own opinions on the experience, which adds to the enjoyment of eating. Since this store opened in December last year, I personally think it's still in the stage of evolving and incorporating customer feedback into the taste and menu. Ueno Park is known for cherry blossoms, and although there are various things happening now, enjoying the flowers and relaxing is nice. How about enjoying yakiniku while admiring the seasonal flowers? (lol)

The coupon stated the original price was over 8000 yen, but in reality, it was 4500 yen plus tax, raising doubts about the discount rate. Additionally, even though we visited on a Sunday, they shortened the 3-hour time limit to 2 hours, citing it was the day before a holiday, despite this not being mentioned in the terms of use. However, I still believe that the price they offer is fair. Orders are placed via smartphone and promptly brought to your table. While the selection of Wagyu beef dishes is limited, the quality is quite good. The restaurant also has a churrasco section called Gochibatta, which is part of the Kimuraya group known for motsunabe. Regardless, in terms of cost-performance, I have no complaints. If you want to enjoy all-you-can-eat yakiniku at a reasonable price, this is a great place to go.

I was taken to this restaurant by an acquaintance. I was a bit nervous because I had only gone to yakiniku with close friends before. It's about a 5-minute walk from Ueno Station. You take the elevator up and the restaurant is right there when you exit. We were seated and chose the Premium Wagyu course for 120 minutes at 5,500 yen. I ordered from my phone. I left the ordering completely up to them so I didn't order anything myself. The best part was that it came with all-you-can-drink. There was a server where you could pour your own drinks. We were given a set amount of meat to start with, and once we finished that, we could order more. It wasn't a huge amount, but it was a bit intimidating mentally. After that, we ordered more and all the meat was delicious. The atmosphere was open and spacious, so if you don't mind a bit of noise, it's a great place to go. I would definitely like to go back again.

Tonight we visited "Nikuya no Daidokoro" in front of Ueno Park. They offer all-you-can-eat black wagyu beef, including rare cuts like A4 and A5 rank. The cost performance is excellent, with the option to add all-you-can-drink for only 500 yen. We ordered the Premium Wagyu Course for 5,500 yen, which includes rare cuts like rib roast, thick-cut beef tongue, and more. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, especially the rare cuts. We also ordered a seafood platter with scallops and prawns, which were fresh and delicious. On February 5th, I enjoyed a yakiniku feast with my old colleagues from work. We decided on a restaurant that was perfect for those who were craving meat. The place also had a churrasco restaurant next door where you could watch samba dancing. It was a lively and fun atmosphere that really lifted our spirits. We opted for the Premium Wagyu Beef Course (5500 yen) which offered a wide variety of menu items. The price was quite reasonable considering it included all-you-can-drink. We ordered rib roast, thick-cut beef tongue, premium rump, wagyu megame, wagyu sukiyaki, sanchu, chorogi salad, namul platter, and TKG (tamago kake gohan – raw egg over rice). The meat was tender and juicy, with just the right amount of marbling. The beef tongue was incredibly thick and got us all excited. Personally, the TKG we had as the finishing dish was a hit! I highly recommend saving room for it. Overall, it was a fantastic restaurant experience.

Following the trend of pork cutlet stew and cream brulee, there is currently a yakiniku boom at chee. I invited Non-san for a lunch date here. We made a reservation for 12 o'clock. The elevator in the building does not light up the floor where the restaurant is located until 12 o'clock, so we adjusted our time at the nearby convenience store before heading over. Due to being a tourist area, the staff wore masks while serving us, which was much appreciated. We ordered the Meat Parfait Course, which includes all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, featuring Japanese black beef. The first dish to arrive was a plate of leaves and meat parfait. The meat parfait was beautifully presented with fireworks on top, including various cuts like tongue and kalbi. Additional orders were placed by scanning a QR code with a smartphone. We enjoyed a platter of Japanese beef, a long piece of tongue, a rare cut called "megane," and some buttered potatoes. The Japanese beef cuts were quite fatty, so one plate was enough for me (laughs). For the second round, I left it up to Non-san. My personal favorites were the tongue, megane, and buttered potatoes. The buttered potatoes had a unique sweet seasoning that was surprisingly delicious. Unfortunately, the only dessert available was almond jelly (I was hoping for some ice cream). Drinks were self-service, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I ended the meal with a refreshing grapefruit juice. Being able to fill up on just meat was a satisfying experience. Today, I wanted to eat some meat, so I decided to visit the newly opened Ueno 2nd branch of "Nikuya no Daidokoro" on December 18th. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor of the "NAGAFUJI" building, which is situated right between Ueno-Hirokoji Station and JR Ueno Station. The interior of the restaurant has a chic design with a slightly dimly lit ambiance highlighted by spotlights. Each seat has a space underneath the chair to store belongings, which is convenient for keeping bags and coats to prevent them from getting oily or smelly from the barbecue. There are three options for the all-you-can-eat course: A. Standard Course (3500 yen) B. Nikuya no Daidokoro Wagyu Course (4500 yen) C. Premium Wagyu Course (5500 yen) I opted for the C. Premium Wagyu Course (5500 yen) to enjoy the all-you-can-eat experience. The course includes unlimited meat and soft drinks, with the option to add alcoholic drinks for an additional 500 yen. It's great that only one person in the group needs to opt for the all-you-can-drink alcohol option. I started with a visit to the drink bar and decided to stick to soft drinks only since I had to drive later. The photo of the beer (Clear Asahi) was actually ordered by someone else in my group. For my first meat dish, I used a coupon from Tabelog to try the Meat Parfait, which was a delightful combination of various meats arranged like a parfait. I also enjoyed a Chorogi Salad alongside it. The ordering system at the restaurant is unique, where you scan a QR code on the table with your smartphone to place orders through a browser. This eliminates the need to flag down a server and makes the process more convenient. I managed to have some Almond Jelly for dessert. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Nikuya no Daidokoro and enjoyed every bite of the premium wagyu meats. In the Ueno area, we visited the second branch of Nikuya no Daidokoro, a restaurant offering all-you-can-eat Wagyu beef barbecue. The staff informed us that there were chopsticks and wet towels in the drawers next to the tables, and that we could order from our smartphones. My son got excited and took charge of ordering everything himself. You can order from your smartphone by scanning a QR code, so be careful as you may end up ordering duplicates if multiple people order at once. We opted for the most luxurious Premium Wagyu course this time. The restaurant prides itself on hand-cutting the meat. We wanted to fully enjoy the delicious Wagyu beef. They had a variety of carefully selected Wagyu cuts like rib roast, me-gane, and harami. The meat with sukiyaki sauce and egg was also delicious. If you request when making a reservation, they will bring a meat parfait or meat cake for you. It's quite a spectacle with fireworks. This would be a delightful surprise for a celebration. Meat lovers will be thrilled with all the meat. Not only did it look great, but the taste of the meat was also fantastic, which showed their attention to detail. For dessert, they served almond jelly. The staff promptly cleared away used glasses and plates, and the meat was served quickly after ordering, allowing us to eat a lot! I definitely want to come back here again.

Surprisingly, there is a yakiniku restaurant with all-you-can-eat wagyu beef! This time, I chose the course with the most variety of options. The ordering system here is done through a smartphone! You can scan the barcode on the table and place your order on your phone. There's no need to flag down a waiter, and your order arrives quickly. It's so fast! Their specialty is a meat parfait that I just had to try. It's perfect for those who don't like sweet things. It looks beautiful, and most importantly, the meat is incredibly delicious. I usually dislike fatty meat, but the marbling here is of high quality, not greasy at all, juicy, and has a natural sweetness. I followed the waiter's advice and didn't cut off the fat before trying it, and I'm glad I did. The side dishes like salad, namul, and wakame soup were all high quality. I wanted to try their curry and bibimbap as well, but my stomach's capacity... Next time, I want to go when I'm really hungry. The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from Ueno, making it easily accessible! I've discovered a great yakiniku restaurant ❤️

The restaurant had a buffet style where you could order using a mobile app. The staff seemed preoccupied with chatting in the kitchen, often not noticing customers coming in or waiting at the cash register. The quality of the meat for the buffet was considered to be quite good.

This restaurant located near Keisei Ueno Station offers reasonably priced A4 & A5 ranked Wagyu yakiniku. What's more, they offer a fantastic all-you-can-eat option! I reserved the premium course with all-you-can-drink alcohol, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cost performance. On the weekend, the 2-hour all-you-can-eat course with alcohol was only 6600 yen per person. The quality of the meat was excellent, tender, and delicious. Even though the all-you-can-eat was limited to 2 hours on weekends, I was able to eat to my heart's content and felt happy. The ordering process was unique and fun - you can easily order from your own mobile phone without having to use a heavy tablet, which was very convenient.

I ordered the course menu. The private room was spacious, which was nice, but the meat was average. It was a bit of a hassle having to make our own drinks.

You can eat a lot for a cheap price! It seems like they all come in an unfrozen state, so I wonder if that's the case everywhere.
