Today, I ended up going back to the same sushi restaurant again. When I arrived after 5 pm, it was already full. Everyone gets there so early! I had my usual green tea highball and sushi. The prices are unbelievably good no matter how many times I go. If I'm in Shinjuku, I'll definitely go again if the timing works out. I wonder if I'll end up going back again...

This is the best cost-performance standing sushi restaurant. I went there without much expectation because it looked cheap, but I was very satisfied. They offer daily special discounted sushi, and if you order a drink, you can get 15 pieces for 10 yen each. Other sushi items are also reasonably priced at around 100-200 yen per piece, and you can easily enjoy delicious sushi made by skilled chefs. I was worried that the place might be dirty since it's right in the middle of Kabukicho, but it was surprisingly clean.

Today's dish was the flounder for 10 yen! I always wonder, why this price??? Other menu items are also cheap, so I want to ask, "Are you making a profit?" I enjoyed it deliciously today as well. I will definitely come back again. I have become a loyal customer.

Mind-blowing!! Shocking!! Honestly, I can't believe it!! This place is in a prime location in Shinjuku, and yet the prices are so reasonable. The sushi is high quality and delicious! The cost performance is unbelievable. Where is this old man making a profit? Of course, the sushi is carefully made. Even the appetizers are made with care. I love it~ I wish there was one in my neighborhood. It's a standing sushi bar, but I will definitely go back! I want to become a regular customer!

I stopped by a standing sushi restaurant in a back alley near Kabukicho, Shinjuku. They offer a daily special of "1 piece of sushi for 10 yen" with a mandatory drink order. It gets pretty crowded in the evening, with people literally packed in like sushi. The appetizer costs 330 yen.
During a break from playing mahjong nearby, I decided to check it out since they were open in the bright daylight on a holiday. The appetizer (330 yen) was a small dish with simmered vegetables, slightly sweet. I ordered a highball and decided to have a little snack. The chef works alone, so it takes some time to serve when it's busy.
- Assorted sashimi 600 yen
The assorted sashimi included horse mackerel, salmon, red meat, sea bream, a mix of 4 kinds. It also came with daikon radish and shiso leaves, making it easy to enjoy with drinks. The condition of the fish, including oily fish, was decent. The reasonable price was a plus.
- Grilled salmon belly 450 yen
The grilled salmon belly looked like a collar, and the portion was surprisingly generous. The fatty texture of the skin was firm. I switched to beer. The 10 yen sushi received quite a few orders from various tables. Other sushi pieces were available for around 100 yen each.
- Sushi
The 10 yen sushi of the day was bonito. I also ordered a tekka maki. Despite being only 10 yen, the bonito had a strong flavor. The rice was not as sticky as I remembered, making it easier to eat. The thin rolls went well with drinks. The tekka maki used plenty of red meat, which was nice. As I enjoyed my meal, the end of my break time approached. It's a great place for a casual drink, but be aware that it gets crowded in the evening.

The best cost performance bar in the Shinjuku area is definitely here! There is also a branch in "Nakano Station", but it's amazing how they can survive at this price in Shinjuku. The system is that if you order a drink, you will get a complimentary appetizer, and you can eat special-priced sushi for 10 yen up to 15 pieces that day. Today's special was "Bonito", and it was really delicious without any complaints. The appetizer was "Nikujaga" and the taste was a bit light, but it served as a good snack. They also accommodate small portions of rice, so you can enjoy without any worries.

I heard there was a sushi restaurant where sushi costs only 10 yen, so I went to check it out. It's located near the Godzilla Tower in Kabukicho. The restaurant is on the first floor with standing room inside, and there are also outdoor table seats. Since the inside was crowded, I was seated outside, which was lucky. They had a special offer for Karei (flounder) sushi at 10 yen per piece, which was incredibly cheap. You can order up to 15 pieces per person, but you have to order a drink as well. There were two skilled sushi chefs inside, and two young and beautiful female servers were efficiently taking care of the customers, which included foreigners, couples, and solo diners. I ordered a drink and they served edamame as a complimentary appetizer. The prices for drinks were mostly in the 400-500 yen range. I also ordered a sashimi platter for 600 yen, which included bonito, octopus, tuna, and red snapper, offering a good amount of food. The Karei sushi was light and tasty, and I also tried the sea urchin for 440 yen, which was a bit pricier but still delicious. They had various other options like fish roe and tamagoyaki (egg omelette), and you could choose whether you wanted rice or not. Overall, the food was easy to eat and tasty. The total bill for two people came to less than 4,000 yen in cash.

I stopped by here after "Tachinomi Ryoma" for some time adjustment! On this day, they had a bluefin tuna nigiri for ¥10 each haha. I had a Hoppy set, a medium size, 7 bluefin tuna nigiri, and some inari sushi. The sushi was decent, but the portion was a bit small haha. Even with the cover charge, it only came to ¥1130, which is quite cheap!

There is a menu where you can get one item for only 10 yen, and the taste is really good. The entrance is a bit hard to find and there is no outdoor sign, so I was unsure if I was in the right place. However, the interior is quite clean, and about half of the customers were women. It's a small standing sushi restaurant where about 6 people can fit at once.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. They offer a type of sushi for only 10 yen per piece, so I decided to visit after 3 PM. On that day, the special sushi was natural southern bluefin tuna, priced at 10 yen, while the other types were at regular prices. I ordered the natural southern bluefin tuna, and was amazed by the volume and taste, which didn't seem like it was only 10 yen. The slices were thick and the quality was excellent. I couldn't believe how they could make a profit with such prices. Thank you for the meal.

After watching Mission Impossible, I found a nearby sushi restaurant called "The Nameless Sushi Shop" that I was curious about and decided to visit. Today, yellowtail is only 10 yen per piece, and you can order up to 15 pieces. I ordered 4 pieces. I was surprised that inari sushi was only 30 yen each. It's a place that makes you want to talk about it with others.

[Overview] The shop "Unnamed Sushi Restaurant" is causing a price disruption with 10 yen per piece. It is located in a relatively good location in the alley right next to Kabukicho TOHO Cinemas, and it is very convenient as it is open until late at night! It is a must-visit place when you want to eat sushi cost-effectively!
[Review] ☆Yellowtail (10 pieces) 100 yen: "Yellowtail (1 piece) 10 yen" is an extreme price disruption! Unfortunately, due to my excessive wasabi incident, it was difficult to evaluate the taste of the ingredients, but it was just fine! lol
☆Other items 1,880 yen: Apart from "Yellowtail (10 pieces) 100 yen," I also ordered "2 pieces of sea urchin (880 yen), 2 pieces of horse mackerel (320 yen), 2 pieces of fatty tuna (300 yen), 2 pieces of shrimp (260 yen), 2 pieces of raw sea cucumber (120 yen)." Although they are relatively expensive compared to "Yellowtail (10 pieces) 100 yen," they are considered cost-effective compared to the general standards! Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, so I stopped by before a dinner meeting that happened to be nearby. The service and atmosphere didn't leave much of an impression, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi at this price point. The 10 yen special tuna was sold out, so I tried the 10 yen flounder instead, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious and fresh. I only had time to try some hirame, aji, and katsuo before heading to a yakiniku place 30 minutes later, but everything I tried was more delicious than expected for the price. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I imagine enjoying the sushi like it was a quick bite at a standing sushi bar in the late Edo period, wiping my fingers on the noren and heading home. Just to clarify, this is my personal feeling and not necessarily reflective of a nostalgic atmosphere at the restaurant. If you're curious, give it a try!!!

A sushi restaurant located in a back alley of Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It is famous for its standing sushi bar where you can get one piece for 10 yen on a daily basis. The other dishes and drinks are also very reasonably priced, ranging from 1,500 yen to 3,000 yen. The fatty tuna was delicious! Perfect for a pre-drinks or post-drinks gathering. Highly recommended and very convenient. Thank you for the meal!

The appetizer simmered dish was extremely delicious. The 10 yen sushi was small but tasty. It's a standing sushi bar so the turnover is good. However, the staff's service was a bit careless, which was disappointing. It felt like they were rushing customers to order quickly and leave, maybe because the place is small. Also, the staff's conversation was loud enough to hear, and it seemed like they were complaining about customers, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

My sister and I found this place on Instagram and decided to visit. It's located a little off the main street in Kabukicho. When we arrived around 6 pm, there was no line and we were able to get a table for just the two of us. The standing sushi bar had about 4-5 tables for two, creating a cozy atmosphere. We ordered 10 pieces of yellowtail sushi for only 10 yen each, which was a great deal. The menu had other items priced similarly, making it a very cost-effective option. The food was delicious, making it a convenient spot for a quick bite in Shinjuku. It's recommended to arrive before 7 pm to avoid the lines. We definitely plan on returning.

The sushi at this restaurant was all delicious. I especially enjoyed the buri (yellowtail), which I love. It was lucky to have my favorite! Two of us went in, had one drink each, ate 15 buri sushi, 2 amaebi (sweet shrimp) sushi, and 2 kani (crab) sushi with miso, negi, and toro, totaling 1,500 yen, and then left. There was a strong person who ate 30 buri sushi and left.

I found an amazing place! You can eat sushi for only 10 yen each. I couldn't believe there was a place like this in Tokyo. The restaurant is not very big, so I read online that there might be a line. Luckily, when I went, the waiting time was only about 5 minutes and we were seated right away. The restaurant can fit about 7 people and it was quite crowded. It felt more like a standing bar with the chef and two staff members working. We ordered the 10 yen salmon sushi and some beer. We also got some ikura, tuna, squid, shrimp, and more, but because the salmon was so cheap, we ended up spending only about 2000 yen per person. 🍣🍺

This was my second visit. This time, I had a green tea highball, some appetizers (simmered bamboo shoots), and 15 pieces of 10-yen sushi. It was consistently cheap and delicious. The fish of the day was flounder, and it was quite tasty. I wonder if sushi used to be this affordable at old sushi restaurants. With prices rising and making dining out difficult, I am grateful for being able to enjoy sushi for just 10 yen per piece. Thank you, manager.

I have wanted to go there for a while and tried twice before, but it was closed. On my third try, I finally managed to visit. Nowadays, with prices going up so much, I am grateful to be able to eat sushi at a low cost of 10 yen for a piece of yellowtail sushi. I deeply respect the efforts of the owner. I will definitely come back to eat again. Thank you very much.
