I visited around 12 pm on a weekday. Despite some restaurants in the building being crowded at this time, I was able to enter this one easily. The restaurant has both counter and table seating, with a good number of seats available. There were quite a few solo diners as well. I ordered the tempura udon set with warm udon after looking at the lunch menu. While sipping on hot tea, the food arrived in about 5 minutes. The set included sushi, udon, tempura, and a side of boiled greens, providing a variety of dishes to enjoy. The sushi pieces were small in size, but the taste was decent. The warm udon had a rich, dark broth similar to standing soba noodles. The tempura pieces, including shrimp, were on the smaller side. The small side dish was delicious with plenty of bonito flakes and tasty vegetables. With a satisfying variety of dishes, I enjoyed a feeling of fullness. The taste and portion size were average. Considering the location, I think the prices are reasonable. Since it was not crowded, it's a good place to have a leisurely meal or a chat with someone.

Today, I visited a sushi restaurant in the Shinjuku area again. This time, I decided to have the nigiri lunch set called "Ayame Nigiri." It came with about 10 pieces of nigiri sushi, miso soup, and chawanmushi (savory egg custard). You can also help yourself to hot or iced coffee. The nigiri sushi was well-balanced with a good variety of toppings and tasted delicious. Considering the current high prices, the price of 1,000 yen including tax is very reasonable.

Today, due to work, I went to the area around Nishi-Shinjuku. This time, I went to a chain sushi restaurant inside the NS Building. As Tokyo's cold weather was getting stronger, I opted for a warm udon and sushi set. You can choose between cold or hot udon. For less than 1,000 yen, you get udon, sushi, and chawanmushi. Plus, self-serve coffee (iced or hot) is included. It was a satisfying and delicious lunch at an affordable price.

You can start with a casual drink while enjoying a sashimi platter with five different kinds of fish. The medium fatty tuna is fresh and rich in flavor, while the grilled belly is juicy and the skin is crispy. The combination of mentaiko, pickled radish, onsen egg, and chopped tuna on seaweed with soy sauce is particularly delicious. The thick fried tofu is large and satisfyingly hot. You can also order your favorite sushi items like sea urchin, fatty tuna, scallops, and more. The miso soup is also a nice touch. Overall, this sushi restaurant offers a good level of taste and is a casual place to enjoy quality sushi.

Sometimes I go out for lunch. There is a restaurant on the 29th floor of the NS Building with various shops. Although there are many different restaurants, this one usually has a quick turnover and you can often get a table without waiting. I ordered the Ayame Nigiri for 980 yen. I am happy that it comes with miso soup and my favorite chawanmushi. The quality of the sushi is above average and delicious! After the meal, they also offer free coffee.

Today, I had lunch at "Ginzou" for the first time in a year. I saw the lunch menu with "Simmered Fish Set Meal" when I passed by "Ginzou" after having lunch at another restaurant the other day, so I decided to visit today. [Simmered Fish Set Meal (with Chawanmushi)] ¥880 Simmered fish with plenty of broth. Probably red snapper. It's a fish that is easy to eat and I like it. It's interesting that boiled egg is included. The chawanmushi also has clams, fish cake, and gingko nuts, which is good. I missed asking about the type of fish for the simmered fish, but I think I'll come back again. Thank you for the meal.

- Boiled fish set meal (880 yen) * Comes with coffee
Visited the restaurant chain in the 29th floor restaurant area of NS Building for lunch (third time)
Visited at 12:10 on a weekday at Manbou. About 70% full. Lunch menu includes sushi, chirashi sushi, boiled fish, etc.
Served at 12:16.
- Well-marinated daikon radish and egg
- Efficient and quick service
- Hot hojicha tea in a large teacup
- Generous amount of rice as default
- Delicious seaweed miso soup
- Steaming hot chawanmushi
- Coffee (hot or iced) is available
Sushi and coffee may not seem like a good match, but as someone who enjoys coffee after lunch, I was pleasantly surprised to find that coffee was included! Manbou is relatively quiet with fewer people, so you can enjoy your coffee without feeling rushed. The boiled fish was average, but everything else was satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited "Ginzou" for the first time in about a year and a half. While they had daily specials, I decided to order from the sushi menu. I chose the "Ayame nigiri" for ¥1,000. The sushi pieces were small, but it came with chawanmushi and seaweed soup, so I think it was a good value. The chawanmushi was a bit plain when I opened the lid, which was a little disappointing. I believe adding some Mitsuba or other garnishes could make a big difference in the overall impression. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant on the 29th floor of the Shinjuku NS Building for lunch. During the state of emergency, they are only open for lunch until 3pm. I arrived after 2pm, but I was relieved that they were still open at that time. I ordered the grilled mackerel lunch set, which is my favorite, even though the menu name was "Grilled Fish & White Fish Fry Set," I was surprised to find out that it included both options. In addition to the main grilled fish and white fish fry, the set also came with salad (shredded cabbage), chawanmushi, and pickles, making it a luxurious meal. The grilled mackerel was large and had a good amount of fat. Although it was fatty, the lemon and grated daikon radish helped to refresh the taste. The leftover grated daikon radish was also great with the white fish fry. I couldn't help but feel a little envious seeing other tables of businessmen enjoying sake.

Today I was guided by a senior to visit "Ginzou" on the restaurant floor of the Shinjuku NS Building 29F for the first time. I ordered the following from the lunch menu (I was torn between the seafood bowl, but I followed my senior and chose this one.) [Ayame nigiri (with chawanmushi and a bowl)] ¥1,000. The nigiri had my favorite engawa, and the chawanmushi included clams, ginnan, and kamaboko. It was a clear day, so I could see Mount Fuji from the window and enjoyed my meal comfortably. Thank you for the meal.

The 6,000 yen banquet course for a year-end party. The quality of the sashimi at the opening was high, which raised expectations, but towards the end, there wasn't a particularly exciting dish, so it was just okay. There was a big gap between the sashimi in the first half and the sushi in the second half. The lineup of drinks was a bit disappointing, and it was questionable that the staff didn't know the brands. Dan-ya is a restaurant that focuses on price, but when it comes to sushi, maybe it's not the best choice. Compared to Dan-ya, Bunzo, which is slightly more expensive, didn't seem to have much advantage.

I visited Ginzou for the first time during the evening. The restaurant was quite empty. I had the following dishes: Otoro, Engawa, Akagai, Kohada sushi; Natto, Kanpyo, Negitoro rolls; Wakame salad with tofu and nori; Assorted tempura; and Clam miso soup. Overall, I would recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. The sushi and rolls were good but a bit pricey. The seaweed salad was delicious but the portion was huge, more suitable for four people. I suggest skipping the tempura as the batter was too thick, overpowering the taste of the ingredients. We ended the meal with the clam miso soup. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Sushiya Ginzou Shinjuku NS Building Store" around 1 pm on a certain day in March 2019. It is located about a 2-3 minute walk from Tochomae Station. The restaurant is on the 29th floor of the Shinjuku NS Building, in the dining area. When I visited, only about 30% of the spacious restaurant was occupied. I sat alone at the counter and ordered the "Pickled Trio Chirashi Salad Set" for ¥900 from the lunch menu. It was served in about 5 minutes. The dish consisted of a bowl with pickled tuna, yellowtail, and salmon, accompanied by a mini salad, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and miso soup. The variety of the dish was decent, but the presentation was not very appealing. Especially, the pickled tuna had a significantly dark color. The pickled trio chirashi had vinegar rice with mildly flavored pickles. Personally, I liked the vinegar rice. The chopped yuzu added a nice touch and the overall quality was not bad. The salad, chawanmushi, and miso soup were average with no standout features. The spacious and calm atmosphere of the restaurant made it a comfortable place to eat. Considering it was not too expensive for a sushi restaurant in the NS Building, I was reasonably satisfied.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. It is located on the 29th floor of the Shinjuku NS Building near Tochomae Station on the Toei Oedo Line. The restaurant floor has about 13 shops. I arrived around 12:30 pm and was able to enter without much wait, even though there were empty seats. However, the staff seemed disorganized and it took a while to be seated. I was finally seated at the counter and ordered the 10-piece nigiri set for 980 yen. The nigiri was well-made and the quality was better than other nearby restaurants. The restaurant was not too crowded, so despite the operational issues, it was still a decent place to dine.

Starting work on January 4th. Of course, the start should be with sushi ^ ^ b, so we held a workplace drinking party here. (As of 9th January, 3.05 points) Sushiya Ginzou is a sushi brand of the Dan'ya izakaya group chain. They have about 30 stores already. I have been here for lunch before, so I know the atmosphere. This time, we ordered a sushi course with all-you-can-drink. We upgraded to the premium all-you-can-drink for an additional 300 yen. We were seated in a sunken kotatsu-style private room. Appetizers and hot pot were prepared. As people gathered, we started with beer (≧∇≦) / □☆□\(≧∇≦ ) Cheers!! Today we're going to drink a lot, so everyone ordered drinks, and the staff kept serving us drinks enthusiastically. And the food kept coming. Sashimi platter, red snapper grilled with miso. The portion size was quite large and good for snacking. The alcohol kept flowing, and everyone was in a good mood (laughs). After that, we had fried dishes, sushi, and before we knew it, two hours had passed!! Thank you for the meal~m(._.)m -Taste Evaluation- Cost-effective sushi course with 2-hour all-you-can-drink after the New Year, I was a bit skeptical, but they served proper dishes. What I particularly liked was the hot pot and red snapper grilled with miso, they had good volume and felt quite worth it. The sashimi was good, but overall, a bit more could be added. The sushi toppings were decent, so I'm satisfied with that. Overall, the alcohol service was good, and the course dishes were served smoothly. As expected of a restaurant under the Dan'ya group. With the good portion size, I would definitely visit again for a sushi party.

I don't really understand, but it's a bit disappointing. The restaurant is on the upper floor of a building, but there aren't many seats with a good view and the lunch drink bar feels like an afterthought. The staff's service is not intentionally bad, but it just doesn't suit my taste. The sushi is delicious, so it's a shame. The scallops were very plump and tasty.

I made a reservation anticipating the fact that all the shops inside the office building would be crowded on the last day of March. When I placed my order in advance during the reservation, they prepared it at the right timing and it came out very smoothly. For working professionals with limited lunchtime, smooth service like this is greatly appreciated. I would definitely want to visit this kind of restaurant again.
