I visited around 2 PM on a regular day. There was no wait, and my order arrived in less than 5 minutes. As expected, the beef cutlet from Moto Village is the best! The meat was tender and very easy to eat. I recommend eating it with the sauce that comes in a salt or white dish. I want to go again!

I went to the restaurant on Sunday around 12 o'clock. The restaurant was on the second floor, and there was a line along the stairs. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was seated at the counter. The thinly sliced beef cutlet was delicious, and I enjoyed being able to try different seasonings. It was also convenient to have a bottle of tea on the table for easy refills.

I entered the restaurant a little before 6 pm on a weekday. There was no line, and I was seated right away. The first impression upon entering was that there were a lot of foreign customers. Maybe it's popular among foreigners because of the delicious food? I was worried about whether I could finish everything, so I ordered the smallest 130g portion with a beer set. The meat is cooked on a hot plate at each table, and there are three types of dipping sauces: special sauce, salt, and wasabi soy sauce, all of which are delicious. I recommend trying the meat with salt first to fully enjoy the taste of the beef cutlet, and then trying it with your preferred sauce.

I visited with low expectations because it's a chain restaurant, but the food was surprisingly delicious and I ended up going back within a short period of time. I have been to this beef cutlet restaurant several times since it opened. I arrived around 12:05 on a weekday and had to wait a bit before being seated. There were many people with suitcases. When I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices had gone up significantly. In the beginning, there were various menu options and you could get a beef cutlet for around 1,200 yen, with choices like cod roe or grated yam, but now those options are completely gone and the prices have changed a lot. The cheapest item now is a 130g beef cutlet for 1,630 yen. It's quite expensive for a regular company lunch, so I wonder if it has become more popular with tourists. The meat is very delicious, and I personally like to eat it with salt and wasabi. The red miso soup is also tasty. I have eaten here about 10 times and the taste has remained consistent. This time, I was able to expense the meal, which was nice, but if it's my own company lunch, it's a bit expensive so I probably won't come here often. If the prices were a bit lower, I would come more frequently. Overall, thank you for the meal.

Gyukatsu is the best (o^^o) It's incredibly delicious and satisfying. The main store is in Shibuya, but I often go to the Ikebukuro branch. Unlike the Akihabara branch where there's always a line, I was able to get in without waiting at the Ikebukuro branch. The seating is spacious too. The taste is just as good as the Akihabara branch. I'll definitely come here next time I crave gyukatsu.

Today's lunch was at Go to Eat Tokyo once again. I visited at 12:00 on a Tuesday, and the seating rate was around 40% due to the rain. I used to wait in line for quite a while at their old location behind Shibuya Hikarie, but since they opened on Dogenzaka (which is now closed), it's been easier to get a seat even when it's not very crowded. Today, I decided to try a menu item with shark fin broth that was priced at exactly 2,000 yen... Oh, it doesn't come with grated yam! So, I added grated yam and ended up paying 2,100 yen. The dish arrived in less than 10 minutes, and I realized that the portion size was larger than what I usually order. The shark fin was served rare and then I grilled it to my liking on the tabletop grill. As always, it was tender and delicious. The total price was 2,100 yen including tax, and I paid with two 1,000 yen Go to Eat vouchers and 100 yen in cash.

Busy lunch time. Stopped by Sanseido and Junkudo to buy some materials. Suddenly noticed the words "Gyukatsu". It seemed to be a chain restaurant, but not very common. Went up the stairs. The table seats had something like a tabletop brazier with a stone plate, reminiscent of what you often see at ryokans. Looked at the menu. Basically, it's just one piece of Gyukatsu, with different side dishes or variations in the volume of Gyukatsu changing the menu. Ordered the basic Gyukatsu for 1300 yen. Surprisingly, it arrived almost immediately! They explained that you grill the rare Gyukatsu on the ceramic plate. Sizzling hot, you can adjust the grilling level. Quite unexpected. It's delicious, but it feels like a BBQ (laughs). They offer free rice refills, which is nice. Anyway, it was a great meal!

There is a rumor that there is always a long line at another store, but at Motomura in Ikebukuro, you can get in without waiting! Located on the second floor at a intersection a short walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit towards Seibu and Junkudo. I learned about the deliciousness of the beef cutlet here. It's best to go on an empty stomach. Also, if you have dinner plans, it's better to avoid heavy meals for lunch. But as long as you follow that, all you have to do is enjoy the beef cutlet. It's always a delicious restaurant.

The 2nd of every month is a special day for Zaku I, so I decided to go after my late shift. As soon as I climbed the stairs, I could smell the aroma of beef cutlets. I quickly ordered the special set with Zaku I. It was quite crowded, but soon enough, my order arrived. The Zaku I had a unique coating, unlike the typical beef cutlets or pork cutlets, providing a completely different texture to enjoy! Of course, the regular beef cutlets with the usual coating were also delicious. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the portion size. The price is reasonable in the beef cutlet scene, so it might be worth increasing the portion size a bit even if the price is a bit higher. Well, you can always order more if you want.

Simple and delicious. I thought the meat was tasty. Good value for the price. It might not be enough for men, but it's filling enough for women. It's fun to cook your own food. It could be a good conversation starter on a date. However, there is only one menu option, so you might be surprised once you're inside. That's something to be aware of. The staff were also cute. I heard from an acquaintance that "this place is delicious!", so I was looking forward to it and visited during a time when it seemed to be less crowded after opening. The menu options were limited, basically a choice between 1 or 2 pieces of beef cutlet, with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) being default and the option of adding grated yam. The prices ranged from 1,400 yen. When the beef cutlet arrived, it was thin and the inside was rare, so you had to cook it yourself to your liking. It produced a lot of smoke, the breadcrumbs on the stone plate kept burning, and the beef cutlet was not juicy. It was not bad, but not exceptional either, especially considering the price. Additionally, I noticed later that they did not offer tea, wet towels, tissues, or napkins, and the payment process was confusing. Overall, it was not a great experience.

I tried the Wagyu beef cutlet for the first time! It was exciting to grill the meat myself, hearing the sizzling sound. The outside was crispy and the inside was juicy and delicious. The only downside is that I wish they offered free refills of cabbage (I'm being greedy).

First experience with beef cutlet, I never knew something could be this delicious. You can choose between one piece or double, I chose the double. When the dish arrived, I thought it was a manageable size, but it turned out to be quite filling despite its appearance. However, the taste was so good that I easily finished it. I will definitely order the double again when I go back.

Visited in November 2019 in the mood for tonkatsu after a long time. Luckily, there was a seat available so I could get in without waiting. They only serve beef tonkatsu here. You can choose between 130g with mentaiko and grated yam, or 260g with mentaiko. The thin tonkatsu is grilled and easy to eat. They offer free refills of rice, so I ended up getting a second helping.
