I love the spacious room in this restaurant. The price for this room is really worth it. I appreciate that the dishes are served individually, it's a nice touch. Normally, dishes are served on a large plate which can be awkward when sharing. Ordering without a hot pot is a good option here, especially for pleasing the women in the group. This place would be great for a year-end party! We ordered the seafood hot pot course this time, but the hot pot course would have been good for those looking for a larger portion. The relaxed atmosphere near Hakata Station is quite nice. The drink all-you-can option includes Ebisu beer and Yame sake, which is great for sake lovers!

While gazing at the illuminated Kinkaku-ji and the dry rock garden, I enjoyed a feast with a long-time friend in a private room with a sunken hearth. The Flower Basket Meal was beautifully presented and each dish was carefully made, making it a delightful experience. The staff were also very polite. I will definitely visit again.

We used the restaurant for a group gathering near Hakata Station after a meeting. The stylish interior from the entrance to the seats, and we had a private room. Starting with yuba, we enjoyed sashimi, simmered bamboo shoots, grilled fish, bonito tataki, and other seasonal dishes. We also ordered live squid as an extra, and the live squid sashimi was amazing, with a chewy yet tender texture. The tempura was also delicious. The clam rice and red miso soup were perfect for finishing off the meal. We even had ice cream for dessert, and we left feeling completely satisfied.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. It is suitable for family celebrations and also for business entertainment. However, since it is mainly an izakaya, the service staff may not be very knowledgeable about manners, but overall it is good.

We used it with 8 people. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere and all seats are private rooms, creating a nice ambiance. Since it was a weekend, we made a reservation and were asked twice over the phone to decide on the menu in advance, which personally was a bit of a downside (we wanted to decide together...). Also, the way the man who answered the phone spoke was not very polite. I understand that they are busy, but he made it clear that if we don't decide, we won't know when the food will arrive, which I understand, but it did affect my mood.

This was my 4th visit, and based on past reviews, I was expecting small portions and poor service. As a fellow salaryman, I couldn't refuse the set course for our party of 3 in a private room, even though the sound from the neighboring room was loud. We opted for the 6,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink, but ended up ordering additional sake (Hanamasu, Dewazakura, Nabeshima) at extra cost. The dishes, from sashimi to braised pork, grilled mackerel, and conger eel tempura, were all delicious this time with no issues. The tiger pufferfish sashimi was surprisingly thin, almost transparent, but lacking in flavor. Despite the small portions, I wonder if I'll come back next time. Thank you for the meal!

I found this place near Hakata Station for lunch. It's a bit of a walk from the station but not too far. The seafood bowl lunch for 1,280 yen was delicious and easy to eat, with plenty of sashimi on top. The chawanmushi and side dishes were also tasty. You can eat in a private room, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about others around you!

It was a cozy restaurant with a digging-style table. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, the food tasted good, and the presentation was well done. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The atmosphere was also good, allowing us to relax and enjoy our drinks and food. It was a stylish restaurant with kind and attentive service.

This day was used for a farewell party for a retiring officer. This is my third time using this place, but even for someone like me who eats small portions, the amount of food is really minimal and doesn't leave a good impression (^^; In fact, looking at the previous review, it even said that there probably won't be a return visit... There were 8 people, and as the organizer was introducing the career of the retiring officer, a male staff member came in without even knocking right behind the organizer and started explaining the menu. The drink menu had Kuro Kirishima and Mitsuyama for all-you-can-drink, and even though I had asked the organizer to switch to Mitsuyama since a bottle of Kuro Kirishima was already prepared, the explanation was that Mitsuyama was listed on the menu but they couldn't provide it. I wanted to say, if you can't provide it, then don't put it on the menu, but even before that, the fact that he came in and said something while the organizer was speaking!?! It was a no-go at that point, and afterwards, even when we ordered highballs, they never came, and the way the female staff served the food was strange... The food is delicious as usual, but the portion size is still small... I might be sent back to the draft for this, so I will make corrections at that time. The next day, the organizer of another drinking party had reserved this place, but they said they would change the venue. Someone must have heard about what happened on this day (^^; There probably won't be a next time!

I usually travel by car, so it feels like I haven't been to Hakata Station in a while. I came here after watching "007/No Time to Die" at T-Joy Hakata. A few months ago, when I came during the state of emergency, there were few customers, but this time after the state of emergency was lifted, it was bustling with groups of office workers. However, the last order was at 7:00 PM, so I ordered what I wanted to eat early.
- Thinly sliced sea bream: 1,200 yen
- Grilled salted yellowtail collar: 1,080 yen
- Caesar salad: 900 yen
- Special dashi rolled omelette: 770 yen
- Chef's choice sushi (7 pieces): 1,430 yen
- Chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and red miso soup set: 550 yen
The grilled salted yellowtail collar was large and satisfying, with just the right amount of salt. The chef's choice sushi was fresh, and if you can eat sushi of this quality at an izakaya, then it's definitely satisfying. Next time, I'll definitely order the chef's choice sushi and chawanmushi and red miso soup set. Due to the impact of COVID-19, my favorite izakaya with delicious sashimi closed down, so I appreciate this restaurant for its delicious fish dishes in private rooms.

I visited the Izakaya Sōhonten Kaizan-tei ARK store today, as it was designated as a private room izakaya. The Kaizan-tei group usually has private rooms and the restaurant is clean, making it convenient for business entertainment. It is a relatively large establishment, so if you make a reservation in advance, it is easy to get in. This time, I ordered a la carte dishes such as fresh squid sashimi, salad, tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), steak, and tempura for dessert. It is nice to be able to talk leisurely while eating as a side dish with alcohol. By chance, we were in a quite spacious room for two people, so we were able to relax comfortably. It is easy to relax and even do some stretches when the other person goes to the bathroom. #Private room #Fresh squid sashimi #Tamagoyaki #Tempura for dessert #Leisurely dining #Suitable for business entertainment #Clean restaurant #Average taste #Stretching #Suitable for parties.

A Japanese restaurant near the government office building. I was told that their lunch is reasonable when I had business nearby, so I decided to try it out. It was nice that they seated me in a private room even though I was dining alone, especially in the current situation. I tried their business lunch menu, which includes three options. I chose the Special Tempura Bowl (980 yen including tax), which was served in just 10 minutes. The tempura bowl came with large shrimp, bell peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, and shiso leaves on a bed of rice with a light sauce. The tempura was freshly fried and delicious, and the portion was quite generous. I forgot to eat a little less and ended up leaving about a third of it. The sauce was lightly flavored and a bit scarce, so maybe a little more or extra on the side would have made it even better. The steamed egg custard came in a small dish with chicken, but it was missing ginkgo nuts, which was a bit disappointing. The miso soup had seaweed in it, and there was a small portion of pickled radish. The private room with a view of the courtyard was lovely. The freshly fried tempura and the steamed egg custard make it a good choice for a business lunch.

This was my first visit to Washoku-ya, and I was impressed by the elaborate interior design and pleasant atmosphere. The dishes were elegant and delicious. The room was spacious, and the staff's service was impeccable, allowing me to have a truly enjoyable time. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

I went to eat Taishabu! The restaurant was stylish and had a very calming atmosphere. It had private rooms so you can drink without worry. This time I had the Taishabu course. The menu was safe. The sashimi was only two kinds, horse mackerel and salmon, so it felt a bit lonely. The grilled fish was salmon again? The tempura was kakiage. The main dish was Taishabu. It came with a meal and ice cream dessert, all for 6000 yen with 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink. Well, it's normal but safe.

It was my father's birthday about two months ago, so I went out to lunch with my children and parents. We went to a restaurant called Kaizan-tei, which I had been curious about for a while. The restaurant has private rooms and is known for its delicious food. We had made a reservation for a stone-grilled steak and sashimi set, and my daughter had a children's lunch. The stone-grilled steak and sashimi set came with fresh sashimi and slightly seared meat. Even though the stone didn't look very hot, when we put the meat on it, it sizzled. It was quite enjoyable. My daughter's children's lunch was also generous and had items she likes. The total bill for three adults and two children was less than 10,000 yen. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in a private room with a garden, and my parents were also satisfied.

I visit this restaurant frequently. The private rooms and the food are both elegant and nice. Women who prefer a calm atmosphere would probably like it. However, some of the staff seemed inexperienced or busy during lunchtime, so it took a bit of time before they came over to assist us. I will visit again for a special lunch with someone important.

I had a 4800 yen course. The sashimi had a crunchy texture and the fugu tempura was delicious. I couldn't finish the rice at the end.

It's a short walk from Hakata Station Chikushi Exit... It's near where there used to be a bowling alley. We didn't go for a fancy reception, just a casual one. The course meal with all-you-can-drink option is reasonably priced. The private rooms are a big plus.
