Around 2:00 PM, I arrived near the restaurant using Google Maps, but couldn't find the place. I searched and found out it was still within the operating hours. I was completely lost and searched between buildings. I thought, "Could the map be wrong?" and was about to give up when I spotted an older lady. I asked her, "Excuse me, is Perry's around here?" and she replied, "That's us." Amazing! I hit the jackpot in one shot. However, on that day, they had already sold out and closed, even though it was around 2:00 PM. Isn't that incredible? They usually operate from around 11:30 AM until sold out. I was disappointed that day. The next day, I lined up from 10:30 AM. I waited for about an hour, but there were already 5 people ahead of me. I checked online and found out they have a counter with 10 seats, so it seemed like I would be able to get in after one round. Finally, they opened. I was exhausted and starving before even eating. As soon as I entered, the lady and the man said, "We're sorry you came all the way here yesterday." That one sentence made me happy. They were probably sharing that there were customers like me. They value each customer. Everyone sat at the counter and placed their orders one by one. The food was cooked and served before taking the next person's order. I ordered a uni and ikura bowl. I asked for extra ikura. The ikura was rich in fatty flavor. I requested extra rice. The visual presentation was impressive, with a price of 3150 yen. Isn't that expensive? It's usually double the price, right? Despite the risk of getting gout, this dish must be tried. It's worth it. As expected, they specialize in ikura, so there are various types available. There's ikura with a firm skin and a chewy texture. There's also fatty ikura. You can even have a half portion of ikura. I couldn't tell which was the generous portion, the uni or the ikura. The uni was sweet and melted in my mouth. There was no fishy smell, surprisingly. It was fresh! The ikura had a soft skin that disappeared in your mouth. I kept eating and it was always ikura, ikura, ikura. When I got tired of it, there was uni, uni. A luxurious surprise. I might be good with uni and ikura for a while. The bowl was satisfying with its destructive power. The warm and friendly customer service from the man and the lady was also wonderful. I really liked it. I think they might be a married couple? Their interactions at the counter felt like a little comedy routine. Thanks to them, I laughed and almost choked on my food, with an ikura grain going missing up my nose (laughs). Also, I've lived in France for a long time, so I'm not very good with chopsticks. If there was a spoon, I could eat without spilling a single grain. But I just wanted to devour it all (laughs). I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.
