Whenever I come in this direction, I always want to stop by. Mushroom Kingdom. Without hesitation, I line up for the mushroom soup. It's still only 110 yen, I was a little moved. I also got a rice ball because I was a little hungry. There are plenty of mushrooms inside, more than it looks. I enjoyed it deliciously today as well. Thank you for the meal.

We stayed in Niseko with our family for 2 nights in August. Since it gets very busy during this time and we won't be able to take them anywhere, we decided to take advantage of the services now. On the first day, we went to Rusutsu Resort. Before that, we stopped to eat at a place we have visited many times before, usually just to buy souvenirs or occasionally have some mushroom soup. We could have eaten at Rusutsu Resort, but we didn't want to deal with the crowds, so we decided to eat here instead. The kids had mushroom udon, my wife had mushroom soba, and I had mushroom soy sauce ramen. Each dish was delicious, with plenty of mushrooms and vegetables. The soup was slightly sweet, the noodles were chewy and delicious. After trying the leftover udon from the kids, I realized how good the udon was here. It was a great learning experience. Thank you for the meal. P.S. It was a weekday, so Rusutsu Resort was not crowded at all.

The weather is nice, so I took a drive and visited here for a little break. The number one selling mushroom soup in Japan for 110 yen. It was full of mushrooms and the bonito broth was delicious. There were many other tasty looking items here, but I'll have to resist for now. Thank you for the meal, I'll come back again. Goodbye!

I visited during lunchtime. The shop is located on the way from Niseko to New Chitose Airport, and I have stopped by about 8 times. It tends to be crowded around noon, but this time I was able to order without any wait at 2:30 pm. I always enjoy their reliable salt ramen. Highly recommended.

I stopped by on my way to Chitose Airport. The place was very spacious with a wide variety of products being sold. The mushroom soup had a rich variety of mushrooms in it and was delicious. It seemed very good for the body. I tried the monk's sausage. It was a very large sausage and very satisfying to eat.

Around 1 pm on a weekend, I visited this restaurant for the first time during a bike tour break. The place was very crowded inside, but since there were plenty of tables, I was able to sit down without waiting. However, there was a long line at the register to place an order. The mushroom soup was surprisingly large for its price of 150 yen, and it paired perfectly with the mixed rice displayed next to the register. The enoki mushroom tempura was freshly fried and delicious, with a satisfyingly crispy texture. There were more dishes than I had imagined, and I left feeling very satisfied. I would definitely revisit to try other items on the menu if I have the chance.

Today, at Mushroom Kingdom, I had the Lunch C Set which included Mushroom Rice, Mushroom Soup, and Mushroom Tempura for 880 yen. It was not enough, so I added Garlic Frankfurter. The Mushroom Rice was delicious! The Mushroom Soup was also tasty, although a bit lukewarm. As for the Tempura, I wish it was a bit crispier. Definitely give it a try! By the way, I took the picture while eating. 😄

While traveling by car, I came across a kingdom-themed restaurant that caught my interest. I was drawn to the cheap mushroom soup priced at 110 yen. I thought it was too cheap, but I decided to order it along with a premium option for 270 yen. I might not be able to visit often, but I would like to stop by again when passing by.

Driving from Kimobetsu-cho towards Lake Shikotsu, you will come across the town of Date (Ootaki district) with country signs for Mt. Usu, Date Masamune's crescent moon helmet, and persimmons. Date City, said to be settled by descendants of the Date clan, is known for Mt. Usu, which I remember erupting when I was a kid, and apparently erupted again in 2000. Intrigued by a large sign for "Mushroom Kingdom" and "Mushroom Soup 110 yen" by the roadside, I was drawn to the main store of "Mushroom Kingdom" without needing a passport. The parking lot was spacious and I quickly ordered two of their famous mushroom soups (110 yen each) and some mushroom tempura. The warm mushroom soup was a steal at 100 yen (+10 yen for the warmth) and was delicious with a comforting mushroom flavor. The table was filled with people enjoying their mushroom soup as well. Although not as grand as the outdoor panel, the interior of the store was cozy with mushrooms everywhere. I also bought some mushroom ramen and other souvenirs from the shop. They even had a mushroom hunting experience corner with mushrooms growing in a high humidity room. "Mushroom Kingdom" is definitely a must-visit spot if you're in the area. Bon appétit! Nice birdie!

I visited after a long time. The parking lot layout seems to have changed. It's mostly for buses now, which feels a bit off. There were a lot of foreigners, but the food menu quality and service seem to have deteriorated. I ordered some mushroom tempura, but it was completely forgotten. The soba noodles were too soft. The premium mushroom soup didn't taste like mushroom soup at all, maybe they added canned mushrooms. The staff were also rude, which is disappointing.

When I drove from New Chitose Airport to Niseko, I couldn't find any convenience stores or vending machines on the road, and I was getting thirsty and hungry. When I discovered the "Mushroom Kingdom," I was so relieved and grateful. I had premium mushroom soup, croquette, sweet potato mochi skewers, eclair, drinking yogurt, and bottled cola to quench my thirst and satisfy my hunger. It was a much-needed break, and I was just thankful that it was there.

A break during a snow drive at "Mushroom Kingdom"! Of course, mushroom soup is a must, and mushroom rice balls are a must-order. The mushroom soup is filled with plenty of mushrooms and only costs 100 yen. The mushroom rice balls also have plenty of mushrooms in them. I intended to have a little snack, but ended up eating quite a bit. Thank you for the meal!

On the way to Niseko and Rusutsu with friends, we always stop by here for a break, including using the restroom. This time, I had the premium mushroom soup, which had a generous amount of mushrooms and came in a large bowl that was quite filling. When receiving it, I was happy to see plenty of green onions on top. It warmed me up nicely! They also offer some unique craft beers. I chose the Shiroi Koibito this time, which was a bit pricey at 698 yen. I thought it would be sweet, but it turned out to be a solid beer. I'd like to try a different one next time!

I always have mushroom soup and mushroom mixed rice ball for my meal (^∇^)♪ The gentle and soothing taste... (’-’*)♪ It's not like a fancy meal, but a simple luxury... (〃艸〃)❤️ I also bought some mushrooms as souvenirs, mushroom pickles, and the miso used in the mushroom soup. The mushrooms are thick and fragrant, very delicious (*・∀・*)ノ

The classic mushroom soup! It's been a while. I had it with mushroom tempura and mushroom rice balls. The tempura had a good texture. It was a bit disappointing that there was no soy sauce or salt in the condiment section, even though there was sauce. I couldn't find the tempura dipping sauce, so I used the mushroom soup as a substitute. After finishing everything, I tried the "shiitake soft serve" for dessert. It was a bit different from the picture, with only one small piece of actual shiitake and the rest in flake form. It was fried to a point where the shiitake flavor was lost, but it didn't taste bad. I think next time I'll stick to regular soft serve.

Mushroom Kingdom at Otaki. I was in a rush and couldn't take photos, just my own record of the visit. I often drive around various places in Hokkaido, but this was my first time on this road. I was heading to Kita-yuzawa via Lake Shikotsu. The place was spacious and even accommodated baby strollers, with plenty of high chairs available, so it was a safe option for families with children!

The bus rest stop between Niseko and New Chitose, with a journey time of about 3 hours, is different from the usual roadside stations and service areas as it focuses on mushrooms. The Premium Mushroom Soup (priced around 280 yen) is a must-try, made with a variety of mushrooms and delicious. It takes 5-6 minutes to prepare, so be careful if you have a short break time. The mushroom mixed rice ball is also a perfect snack option.

On a Sunday, before heading back to Sapporo from Muroran, I decided to make a quick stop in Date City. Date City is actually divided into two parts, and I visited the Date City in Oritaki to the north, where the Mushroom Kingdom is located. The name itself is exciting, right? The building is large and the parking lot is spacious. It's a great spot for a restroom break as well. Inside, it was quite lively with a variety of side dishes displayed. They offer a recommended mushroom soup, and you can purchase various mushroom dishes from the ticket machine. Since it was lunchtime, I decided to order the tempura bowl and mushroom soba set. Despite not being very hungry due to a hearty breakfast at the hotel, I only ordered one set, which turned out to be the right decision. When my number was called, I received a set with a substantial amount of food! The tempura bowl was filled with shimeji, shiitake, and maitake mushrooms, along with shrimp tempura. The mushrooms were all quite mild in flavor, almost indistinguishable if you closed your eyes (laughs). The soba was also lacking in flavor, with no scent of buckwheat, but the abundance of enoki mushrooms was impressive. I also bought a mushroom and leek miso soup for less than 150 yen. It was packed with ingredients but tasted like a regular miso soup. I also bought a mushroom rice dish as a takeout, which became LP's dinner. It had a gentle flavor and was delicious. However, I wish the mushrooms had a stronger taste. The bakery and souvenir corner were also well-stocked, making it a fun place to visit. If you happen to pass by, be sure to stop by!

For those of you who want to fill your stomach after snowboarding! I also had mushroom mixed rice and zangi, although I forgot to take a photo. I ended up eating more than I intended, so I regret it. I recommend the homemade mushroom soft serve. Thank you for reading until the end. I am updating delicious gourmet foods mainly in Miyagi Prefecture in Tohoku at my own pace. Your follows and likes are greatly appreciated, so if you are willing, please support me.

During a family trip in Hokkaido, we stopped by and had some mushroom soup at a roadside restaurant. The outside temperature was -10℃, so we were craving something warm. We ordered the mushroom soup with green onions for 130 yen and a mushroom frankfurter for 362 yen. The mushroom soup had a generous amount of green onions on top, with plenty of mushrooms underneath. Served in a bowl that was more like a rice bowl, it really warmed us up. We also tried the mushroom frankfurter, opting for the plain flavor to avoid any stomach issues during our journey. The coarsely ground texture of the frankfurter, shaped like a bone, was delicious and full of rustic charm. Thank you for the meal.
