I discovered a hidden gem yakitori restaurant on the outskirts of Umeda! It was so good that I want to share it with you.

They use a special variety of chicken called "Yamato Niku Tori," which is a combination of Nagoya Cochin and Jidori chickens from Nara prefecture. You can enjoy this rare chicken in various dishes!
- Complimentary dish: Corn pudding
- Yamato Niku Tori sashimi platter (24 types) for 1,580 yen (excl. tax): A wide variety of cuts available, all freshly prepared. A must-try!
- Grilled Yamato Niku Tori white liver with sudachi vinegar for 600 yen
- Soy-marinated kumquats for 420 yen
- Yamato Niku Tori "Yodare Chicken" for 980 yen
- Yakitori dishes like "Dakimi" for 280 yen and "Chouchin" for 280 yen are also recommended.
Located between Umeda and Temma, the restaurant is clean and offers great value for the delicious food they serve. It's worth the walk, so if you're in Umeda and craving yakitori, this place comes highly recommended!

It's very delicious and looks great, but to get full, the course seems to be costly. It's a bit of a deal if you consider the quality of the meat. The service and atmosphere are good, so it's a nice place to take a date with girls. ⭕️

The team did something the day before and it was the weekend, so Osaka was bustling. I visited "Yakitori Bambora" restaurant. It's described as casual for adults, and there were stylish couples and office ladies besides me who came after work. I thought the portion might be a bit small for me, but the affordable "Casual Course" allowed me to easily enjoy Yamato chicken. It included 11 items such as assorted appetizers with chicken, chicken tataki with homemade ponzu sauce, 4 types of skewers, grilled vegetables, pickled vegetables, grilled rice balls with egg yolk, chicken soup, and ice cream of the day. I was full and very satisfied by the end of the meal. I highly recommend the "grilled chicken liver skewers" and the "grilled rice balls with egg yolk." The rich egg yolk was delicious, and when I poured the chicken soup over it, I enjoyed it even more. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again to try a different course.

I found a really delicious looking yakitori restaurant called Sanbamosan on Instagram, so I decided to go check it out. The raw liver was amazingly delicious, not at all smelly, and I tried chicken white liver and chicken thigh tataki for the first time in my life. They cut the Yamato chicken right in front of me, and I was so excited ❤️ As expected, the chicken raised in the morning was the best. Thank you for serving such delicious food. Thank you for the feast.

I was drawn in by an advertisement for a restaurant offering 24 types of chicken sashimi limited to 3 groups per day, so I decided to visit the place! They served me with a slightly sweet sauce, sesame oil, and a salt-based sauce for dipping. Each piece of chicken sashimi was labeled with a tag, making it easy to identify the different cuts, which I found very helpful. I was worried that the chouchin (lantern) dish might be sold out since it was listed as limited quantity, but luckily they still had some left and I was able to order it. I also enjoyed the corn chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard) that was served as an appetizer. Overall, I thought it was a great value for the quality of food I received.

Carefully selected high-quality chicken sashimi with 24 varieties requires reservation! They use Nara's Yamato chicken and chicken from the Kinki region. It seems that they carefully select good ones by going directly to the chicken farm. It's a recommended menu at a shop where you can enjoy comparing finely chopped dishes. Osaka / Nakazakicho "Yakitori Bambora Kamiyamacho Store"
- Kirin Ichiban Shibori Draft Beer (medium) 480 yen
- Green tea 350 yen
- Sashimi
- Assorted 24 varieties 1 serving 1,580 yen (reservation required: from 2 servings)
- Skewers
- Chef's choice 5 skewers 1,350 yen
- Vegetable skewers
- Shiitake mushroom 220 yen
- Baby corn 220 yen
- Lotus root 250 yen
- Specialty
- Soy sauce-pickled kinkan (kumquats) 420 yen
- Finale
- Yamato chicken yakitori bowl 720 yen
Beer is also cheap at 480 yen! The atmosphere is really nice! The counter has 2-seater sofas, making it perfect for dates or girls' nights out! Be sure to try the flavorful vegetable skewers cooked over charcoal and the Yamato chicken yakitori bowl (720 yen)! It's a hidden gem. It was delicious! Thank you for the feast! ❤️.・*・.・*・.・*・.・*・.・*・.・*・.・

- Potato salad 580 yen
- Soy sauce-marinated kinkan (kumquat) 420 yen
- Halami (belly meat) 300 yen
- Kawa (skin) 280 yen
- Chouchin (lantern) 280 yen

This restaurant is located in a place where you might think, "Is there really a shop here?" It's a hidden gem. Once inside, the stylish interior doesn't look like a typical yakitori place. The recommended dish is the assorted sashimi. It's bite-sized so you can enjoy a variety of types without getting too full! The sashimi is fresh because it's sourced on the day. The yakitori is grilled slowly over charcoal, resulting in a crispy exterior and juicy interior. All the dishes pair well with alcohol! You can order a la carte or go for a course menu, which is very reasonable starting from 3,000 yen.

Located in a hip area between Osaka and Temma, around the middle, is Nakazakicho station. Bamura, which opened in February this year, is a hidden gem that might get fully booked quickly once it becomes more well-known! Their Nagoya Cochin and fighting chicken combination is impressive. Their 24-piece assorted plate of Yamato chicken sashimi is priced at 1580 yen (excluding tax), and the neatly arranged cuts are a sight to behold! They butcher the chicken of the day, so can you actually eat this raw? You can even try cuts like tail and comb raw! Have you ever eaten these before? The 24-piece assortment requires a reservation! Other menu items include: Yamato chicken shirako charcoal-grilled with sudachi vinegar for 600 yen, kinkan (kumquat) soy-marinated for 420 yen, Yamato chicken Japanese-style "yodare chicken" for 980 yen, dakimi for 280 yen, and chouchin for 280 yen. This stylish restaurant is likely to become a popular spot for yakiniku dates. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The super popular restaurant "Bamora" has opened a second branch! Since it's hard to get a reservation on weekends, I recommend the Kamiyama branch near Umeda. This is definitely a great tip for those who don't know about it. Not just the food, but the big counter and the carefully selected tableware are also great points. The interior is so cute that everyone will want the dishes. This time, I enjoyed a course for ¥5,000, with dishes like chicken sashimi, yakitori, a filling oyakodon, and apple ice cream for dessert. There are about 3 other course options available as well. Experience the volume and deliciousness of Yamato chicken at Bamora Kamiyama branch!

Visited in July 2023 ◎ At the time of posting, the restaurant had a rating of 3.10 on Tabelog (from 27 reviews). Today, I visited "Yakitori Bambora Kamiyamacho" where you can casually enjoy authentic yakitori. This popular spot offers fresh chicken sashimi with 24 varieties, chicken sashimi, and yakitori cooked with domestic binchotan charcoal. They also have a selection of around 20 types of sake that pair well with yakitori, as well as seasonal fruit smoothie sours. The stylish and spacious atmosphere is very relaxing. There are counter seats surrounding the kitchen, which are great for solo diners or couples, as well as spacious table seats. We tried their new course menu today, which costs 5,000 yen (excluding tax). The course included various dishes such as corn mousse with egg jelly, potato salad, spicy miso steamed chicken, and a variety of yakitori skewers. Each skewer was carefully prepared and cooked over domestic binchotan charcoal, resulting in delicious flavors. Overall, the quality of the food, portion sizes, and service were all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Located in a slightly quieter area just off the bustling main street, this restaurant always seems to be busy with customers. We opted for a table seat this time, but the counter seats with long benches also looked comfortable. The starter of corn mousse and egg yolk jelly was of high quality and so delicious that we wanted to order it again. The smoked half-boiled egg had a runny yolk, providing a unique texture. The smokiness was a bit subtle, which was a bit disappointing. The seared liver had a good texture with no unpleasant smell, indicating its freshness. We ordered the chef's selection of 5 grilled chicken skewers, which included chicken breast, thigh, cartilage, back liver, and negima (chicken and green onion). Each skewer used fresh chicken, cooked to a slightly rare doneness, resulting in tender and juicy meat. We also tried the chicken white liver, a menu item we had never seen before. It had a different texture and size compared to fish white liver, offering a satisfying eating experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Every dish was of high quality, creating an atmosphere where reservations may become difficult in the future. We look forward to trying the chicken sashimi next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited the restaurant after hearing that they offer a variety of sashimi dishes made from different types of birds! I made a reservation in advance for the 24 types of bird sashimi, which is a must. The staff were very kind and helpful during the reservation process. On the day of the visit, I ordered an organic vegetable salad, the 24 types of bird sashimi, and a set of 5 assorted yakitori skewers. The organic vegetables were fresh and delicious, and the bird sashimi was so good that it showcased their commitment to quality ingredients. The yakitori skewers were a bit pricey but worth it for the unique flavors and the option to have them rare. The complimentary dish, pumpkin and egg yolk mousse, was also prepared with care and added to the overall experience. The main highlight, the 24 types of bird sashimi, was exceptional with rare cuts and fresh sashimi served with delicious sweet soy sauce. As someone who enjoys trying different and unique cuts of meat, I was very happy with the experience. Despite the slightly higher prices, the nice ambiance, friendly staff, and fresh ingredients make it worth a visit. I will definitely return when I crave bird sashimi again! Thank you for the wonderful meal! 🍽️

The majority of the staff and customers seemed to be in their 20s and 30s. When I went with a wheelchair user, the staff kindly approached a table near the entrance and the two customers quickly moved to set up a more accessible table for us. Thank you very much. The food was all well-prepared and delicious. The pumpkin appetizer and some kind of jelly had a rich flavor and sweetness. The potato salad and fern salad had a unique and delicious taste that I can't replicate at home. The assorted yakitori was all delicious, and they bring it out in the order it is cooked. The yakitori rice bowl was also delicious. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

Yakitori Bambora [Osaka Nakazakicho]... A genuine yet casual yakitori restaurant that uses Nara's Yamato chicken as the main ingredient. This is our second stop ⤴️⤴️⤴️... The Yamato chicken has a firm texture and rich flavor that is truly addictive. Plus, they offer a Yamato chicken sashimi platter with 24 varieties for 1,580 yen (serves 2 or more) - reservation required, but definitely worth trying!... Yakitori starts from 308 yen, making it quite reasonable to enjoy local chicken at this price! They also have a great selection of Japanese sake... Don't forget to try their ramen for the perfect ending (laughs) Thank you for the delicious meal~... Yakitori Bambora Kamiyamacho

I had been curious about Sonezaki branch for a while, and I heard it was so popular that they opened a new branch in Kamiyamacho, which I can walk to from Temma. They handle a whole Yamato chicken every morning at the store, which allows them to offer incredibly fresh sashimi with 24 varieties. I finally got to try it! I tried parts like tail, neck, shirako, and bonjiri that I had never eaten as sashimi before, and each had a different texture, chewiness, and flavor that was delicious. The fresh Tamahimo was also amazing! It was so bouncy and bursting in your mouth, bringing happiness. The yakitori and the grilled rice ball with chicken white soup were also excellent. The 24 varieties of sashimi require a reservation as they only serve 3 groups per day, so I recommend making a reservation and trying it out.

The popular yakitori restaurant from Tsunashizaki will open in Kamiyamacho in February! It's conveniently located not too far from Umeda or from Ogimachi, so it's easily accessible. The menu items I tried were: rare cuts of chicken, Nara's Yamato meat chicken sashimi assortment, grilled rice balls with chicken broth soup. Every dish was incredibly beautiful and extremely delicious. The moment the chouchin (lantern) skin breaks and melts in your mouth is pure happiness, like seeing a sea of clouds while mountain climbing. And the assortment of 24 cuts of Yamato meat chicken is like discussing the future while watching the Milky Way. The grilled rice balls are so delicious, you'll regret not ordering them. This is a popular restaurant, so a return visit is a must! If you go, let me know your recommendations. Definitely check it out, it was so delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited this restaurant after being recommended by a friend and making a reservation. The inside was fully packed, so reservations are a must! The yakitori here is all very meaty and satisfying to eat. I especially recommend trying the "chouchin" skewer! The popping texture is really addictive. It was a delicious dinner!

That popular yakitori restaurant has already opened its second branch, so I went to check it out right away. The shop is located right in between Umeda and Nakazaki, with a casual and easy-to-enter appearance and interior. Although it just opened, the inside was already full, so I was guided to the terrace seats with vinyl curtains. Here's what I ordered:
- Yamato chicken sashimi assortment of 24 types (requires reservation)
- Yamato chicken salt tataki
- Yamato chicken thigh tataki
- Yukke with smoked egg
- Potato salad
- Celery with ponzu
- Yamato chicken "oyako" chicken
- Smoked plum marinated cartilage
- Crunchy vinegar seaweed
- Smoked quail egg
- Yamato chicken white liver charcoal grilled
- Various yakitori items
- Charcoal-grilled vegetables
- Grilled rice balls in a dashi tea soup style
- Oyakodon (special menu)
- Special egg and rice bowl
- Ramen with special egg topping
The food was delicious, the service was good, and the overall experience was satisfying. I left the restaurant full and happy. Thank you for the meal. ❤️

It's a restaurant where you can enjoy rare cuts that are difficult to find elsewhere. The yakitori, grilled over Japanese Binchotan charcoal, is all delicious! The meat is tender and juicy. I tried some yakitori for the first time and it was amazing. The "chochin" skewers had a burst of egg when you bit into them, so delicious! The meal ended with grilled onigiri and chicken white broth soup, which was even more delicious when turned into ochazuke. The plum wine had fruit pieces in it. The counter and sofa seating areas were stylish and cozy. A great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

I found a delicious yakitori restaurant! For those who love chicken sashimi, I highly recommend it. They offer a chicken sashimi platter with 24 different parts, including chicken white liver which was a first for me. The restaurant is located in Kaminyama-cho in Kita-ku, Osaka, around the middle of Umeda, Nakazakicho, and Ogimachi. The place is new but quite busy. The chicken sashimi is made with Nara's local chicken and Yamato Niku chicken, allowing you to taste various parts from common ones to unique ones. The white liver is especially delicious. The yakitori, such as chicken breast wrapped in skin and grilled to perfection, is also a must-try. The grilled rice ball as a finale, topped with chicken white broth, is simply amazing. This place might become difficult to book in the future, so I want to go back again soon!
