Maron Pie is a pie with large chestnuts and cream made from chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture, topped with fondant made from brown sugar from Okinawa. It is said to contain chestnuts with skins, but the pie was sweet enough due to the chestnut cream and fondant. Tsurumantuki is a snack with black beans in madeleine. The black beans are a good accent to the slightly sweet dough.

Even a small cake was priced reasonably, but for someone like me who doesn't usually eat sweets, it felt a bit expensive. My wife scolded me, saying that I have a poor memory! But I do feel happy when I'm eating it. I visited in the late afternoon, and there were about two parking spots available in the crowded parking lot. It was delicious! (^^♪

Since my home was very far away and there was still a considerable amount of time until I arrived, I bought some baked goods and bread. The packaging for gifts such as baked goods was very cute. The prices were also very reasonable. When I got home and had the baked goods after dinner, they were surprisingly delicious, so I regretted not buying more. It's not easy to go there on a whim, but it's worth going out of your way to visit.

Their roll cakes are fluffy and their shortcakes have a light texture with large strawberries. The owner and chef has experience in Canada, France, and Tokyo. They offer a wide variety of cakes, chocolates, cookies, and other sweets at reasonable prices. The staff provides polite service and efficiently handles the busy store.

This is my first time visiting this long-stay shop. I passed by the shop once before. The exterior looks lovely (^ω^) I have been to the Hirao and Nanakuma branches before, where the two-bite size cheesecakes are famous. I mostly had an image of cheesecakes, so I was thinking of buying a cheesecake at the Long-stay shop this time as well. However, when I entered the Long-stay shop, there were a variety of baked goods and cakes, so I decided to purchase a cake this time. - Strawberry and mousse roll cake: 1600 yen (excluding tax). It had a pie crust at the bottom and was delicious. - Egg roll cake: 1000 yen (excluding tax). The texture of the cake was fluffy, similar to what I like at Opera, and had the same level of sweetness. The cream was slightly different, but the sweetness was almost the same. Isn't this a great deal for only 1000 yen? They also had sweets for the Obon festival displayed in a lovely basket, which was very attractive. If it was closer, I would definitely use this shop more. The service was good, and it was clear that they were working hard to not keep customers waiting. There is parking space for 4 cars in front of the shop. Thank you for the meal.

Located along the main street of a residential area, a little south of Ufufu-san. There is a parking lot available. The front garden of the shop is very cute. I wish I had a garden like that at home. Banff no Mori is famous for its cakes, especially cheesecake, but since I just had a parfait, I bought some baked goods. - Onigiri cookies, 1 piece for 110 yen. There were various types available, but I chose Mitsuri-chan because she's so cute and popular right now. These kinds of cookies can be hit or miss, but being a pastry shop, they were delicious with a nice buttery flavor and a crispy texture. - Assorted cookies, 6 pieces for 330 yen. Since the expiration date was approaching, I got a great deal with 6 cookies and one baked good for 330 yen. Perfect for enjoying at home. (The expiration date was still a month away!) They were consistently delicious. I prefer the ones with nuts and chocolate. There were various cakes displayed in the showcase. With a wide variety of baked goods, this shop is convenient for personal use or as souvenirs. Thank you for the meal.

Before visiting the sushi restaurant across the street, I had some time so I stopped by this place. I can't remember the name of what I bought, but it was the number one favorite among men, according to the staff. It was a chocolate treat with a layer of chocolate coating on top of a soft chocolate base. The texture was crispy on the outside and creamy inside, which was delicious! The reason for its popularity among men is the subtle sweetness. It was enjoyable even when paired with alcohol. The store had a parking lot and was bustling with many customers. It must be well-known locally. I would definitely like to visit this place again when I go back to the sushi restaurant.

When I arrived at Sushi Osamu, I found myself there too early and had some time to spare, so I decided to explore the neighborhood. That's when I stumbled upon this dessert shop. It was crowded with customers, indicating its popularity. I bought two types of chocolate and a financiers. They were all delicious with a mild sweetness. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate truffles and financiers!

I received fig kuglof and white bean paste madeleines. The kuglof was moist and sweet, complementing the fig well. The madeleines with cherry blossom paste were also moist and delicious. The red bean paste was also good. This restaurant never disappoints, everything is always delicious here.

I received forest cheese and Demon Slayer-designed cookies as a gift, which felt like a get-well-soon gesture. I've been eating forest cheese for about 20 years now, and it's still evolving. It has a smooth, creamy texture that I particularly enjoy. As for the Demon Slayer cookies, I felt a bit guilty because I've read the manga quite extensively, but the taste was excellent. If I had to nitpick, I would say that a slightly stronger almond flavor would have made it perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The buttery flavor was great, making it a good choice for those who don't like overly sweet treats. The packaging also adds to the gift-like feel, and the taste seems to target a younger audience.

While heading towards Sushi Osamu, I spotted a deer in the artificial forest, so I decided to enter and explore before meeting Osamu. It seems to be a familiar sweets shop for the locals. It was my first time entering, but they had a variety of cakes, Japanese and Western confectionery, and bread displayed. One item that caught my eye was the single-serving cheesecake called "Forest Cheese" in the shape of a koban coin. It turned out to be a product from this shop! It's perfect for sharing. It has three layers, with the cheese in the middle being fluffy and you could eat as much as you want! They also had Ruby Chocolate, a rare type of chocolate with plenty of nuts on a slab. The acidity lingers after the sweetness, making it perfect as a drink accompaniment. They also had Tsurumangetsu, a white bean paste madeleine. The madeleine, wrapped in a Japanese-style paper, has a Japanese touch to it. It contains black beans, adding an accent to the flavor. It goes well with coffee or black tea. The shop was crowded with customers, and when the cash register got busy, the patissiers would also come out from the back to help. They have made efforts to avoid making customers wait. There was a coffee server at the entrance where you could freely pour yourself a cup of coffee, so I enjoyed a coffee after the meal. My companion purchased a stick-shaped grapefruit peel and shared one with me, which I enjoyed with the coffee. They even provided an after-coffee service, showing their consideration for the customers.

After leaving Sushi Osamu, I arrived at the forest in Banff! Honestly, I don't usually eat sweet things at all, but when I'm drunk, I can eat them (laughs). Key-sama shared the orange peel chocolate he bought with me, as a snack for the free coffee! Key-sama is so kind ^_^ I also enjoyed the raw chocolate at home while licking my lips! The members who went to Osamu-san's place bought various things at this shop, but Goya-sama bought the most (laughs). Thank you for the feast!

After eating at Osamu's sushi, I decided to buy some sweets. I wasn't familiar with sweets, but I learned that there are three stores: Nagasumi, Hirao, and Nanakuma. The most famous item is called "Mori no Cheese," a baked cheesecake that needs to be refrigerated, priced at ¥108 each. They also offer a wide range of baked goods, chocolates, and breads. A friend suggested their roll cake, made with Naka River's fertilized eggs called "Kintaro Tamago." It was quite expensive at ¥864 each, but I decided to buy it to share with my colleagues at work. The cake had a slightly elastic outer layer with a soft sponge inside, and the cream was delicious. It turns out they use Om Milk's Pure Cream from Omuta, which gives the cream a rich and flavorful taste without being too heavy. I also bought some chocolate treats for souvenirs, and my friend got a stick of grapefruit peel chocolate. They offer complimentary coffee at the entrance, which was a nice touch. The customer service was very polite, and each item was carefully wrapped for gifting. Overall, the experience felt like each item had its own brand value, making it a special treat to enjoy.

After the sushi lunch at Sushi Osamu, we enjoyed coffee service on the terrace! The Orangette (orange peel soaked in liqueur and coated with chocolate) was bittersweet and paired perfectly with the coffee. The fourth chocolate, Ruby Chocolate Mandian Ruby Chocolat, had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity that complemented the nuts beautifully. Delicious!

Baked goods are perfect as a souvenir - they are delicious and reasonably priced. The parking is also easy to find. ✨
