Located near Yotsubashi in Amerikamura, this shop is always crowded. The interior is small, so you have to drink on the bench-like area outside the shop. It was hot, so I chose an espresso soda. There were two options for coffee. I received a card with information about the beans and the barista. It was delicious, but I wish I could sit and relax a bit more.

A coffee shop in Amerikamura. The interior has one table and several seats at the counter. Outdoor seating with tables and benches is available for smoking. They offer a wide variety of coffee beans, allowing you to choose your preferred flavor. You can also choose the extraction method, such as pour-over or Aeropress. Thank you for the meal.

I came all the way to Osaka, so I went to America-mura to see some vintage clothes. I took a break at this cafe, recommended for coffee lovers.
*About the shop*
The shop is located right at the entrance of America-mura, just a short walk from Shinsaibashi Station and Yotsubashi Station. It's next to the vintage clothing store JAM, on the first floor of a commercial building. The interior is long and cozy, with seating outside as well.
First, I placed my order and paid. When my order was ready, they brought it to my table. It's fun to talk to the barista and ask for recommendations. They have a wide variety of coffee beans, some of which I've never heard of before! Coffee enthusiasts will love it.
When they brought my order, they also gave me a barista introduction card. It's so interesting, you might meet your favorite barista!
- Dirty Chai hot ¥600
Among the recommendations, I found the Chai menu! They have Dirty Chai and Chai Latte, and when I asked what the difference was, they explained that Dirty Chai is Cafe Latte-based. I prefer less sweetness, so I chose this one. The combination of the clean bitterness of coffee and the rich aroma of spices is delicious. I enjoyed it slowly while feeling the breeze outside. It became a spot I want to visit when I'm in America-mura. Thank you for the meal! ✨

Cafe latte for 500 yen, chose "strong" over "fruity". It was made with espresso blend. The freshly ground coffee had a slightly rough aroma. When I took the first sip, the milk's fluffy texture enveloped my lips! I was impressed by the rich milk. The espresso also had a hint of acidity, with a clean finish. The cafe has a few seats indoors and outdoors. It's more of a place to quickly enjoy a coffee or get a takeout, rather than to relax and linger.

There is a shop about an 8-minute walk from Shinsaibashi. There are a few two-seater tables inside and outside the shop. I ordered a latte. They asked me about the variety of coffee beans, and recommended two types of beans when I ordered a latte. They explained the flavors of the beans in detail. I chose the beans with a deep flavor and enjoyed it very much.

The interior of the store may not be spacious, but the variety of beans is abundant. On the day of a significant renewal of beans, the recommended choice was the Colombian Geisha (light roast). The atmosphere of the cafe, although cluttered, exudes an authentic aura through the variety of beans and coffee equipment they offer. The meticulous drip brewing process using fine paper creates a slow, soothing drip sound. The aroma that spreads throughout the room is fantastic. The dripping Geisha coffee has a fruity flavor that explodes upon tasting, followed by a gentle acidity and sweetness in the aftertaste. The strong impact of the aroma transitions to a citrusy acidity as the coffee cools down, leaving a spicy and refreshing finish. This particular Geisha coffee was 10 days post-roast, which I find to be the peak time for its aroma. Despite the unassuming exterior, the variety of beans and equipment on display immediately signal to coffee enthusiasts that this is a remarkable coffee shop.

Lilo Coffee Roasters! They are a kind shop that asks how you're feeling and recommends a coffee based on that. If you say you want something refreshing with light bitterness, they will recommend it right away. It's like magic (laughs). The coffee is really refreshing and has a light bitterness. Delicious! It's the best! Lilo Coffee Roasters! Definitely recommended!

When I came to look for vintage clothes in Amerikamura, I almost always stop by this coffee stand. It's conveniently located near Shinsaibashi and Yotsubashi Station, making it easily accessible. The small interior has a few counter seats and one table for two. The first thing you notice is the jars of beans lined up on the shelf. It gives a nice sense of unity! With a variety of bean types available, if you tell the staff your preferences, they will suggest something for you. This time, I ordered coffee from China. Since it was not a familiar choice for me, I was a bit skeptical about whether it would be delicious, but I decided to give it a try. Once you place your order, they carefully hand drip each cup for you. When I asked if I could take a photo, they kindly said yes! While waiting for the coffee, I had a pleasant chat with the staff. Along with the coffee, they also gave me a card describing the flavor of the beans and the business card of the person who brewed it this time! These unique touches are what make this place special! The taste itself was delightful, with a deep roasted flavor but also a subtle sweetness and acidity reminiscent of wine in the aftertaste. I enjoyed it very much. I might come back to try a different coffee blend and collect more cards! I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the main restaurant for today, but I had some time so I decided to take a break at this small café on the 1st floor of the same building. I ordered the strongest coffee from the friendly staff and they brewed it for me. They served it in a ceramic cup. The coffee had a subtle aroma and a rich, heavy taste with a strong sweetness and a mild acidity. It was beginner-friendly strong coffee with a smooth aftertaste. The details of the beans I ordered were impressive. Overall, it was a good experience, although the presence of a smoking booth outside the small entrance of the café was a bit concerning. Now, it's time to head to the main restaurant on the 3rd floor. It was delicious!

The seating in the store is limited to 6 seats, and it seems to be mainly a takeout coffee bean shop. The menu items are colorful and confusing. I asked if I could dine in, and was then asked what I was looking for. I tried to describe what I wanted, mentioning a single origin Mocha with a strong citrus flavor. I was recommended the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Dumerso for 450 yen (tax included). It had a rich aroma and a refreshing taste, different from what I had imagined with a citrus flavor. Coffee has so many varieties, it's difficult to choose. I used my head to select a coffee different from my usual choice, and it turned out surprisingly delicious. Thank you for the meal.
Side note 1: According to the coffee card I received, the acidity of the coffee I drank was in the middle between lemon and citric.
Side note 2: Lemon is understandable, but what does citric mean?
Side note 3: When I searched online, I found out that citric means citric acid.
Side note 4: Coffee terminology is indeed difficult.

A small coffee shop with a few counter seats and one table, with an open and inviting atmosphere. They have a wide variety of coffee beans, and the descriptions are easy to understand, making it easy to imagine the aroma and taste. If you're unsure, the staff will give you advice tailored to your preferences. I chose Brazilian beans this time. The drip coffee was 350 yen, and they gave me a shop card with a description of the beans I chose, which I thought was nice. I would love to stop by again. ♡

I went to look for a place near Shinsaibashi where I could enjoy specialty coffee. Inside, there was a small two-person table in front of the counter along the wall. I placed my order and then went outside to sit on a bench. It wasn't cold, and it was a nice break from walking in the heat. I ordered an iced cafe latte with Dominican beans for 550 yen. I liked that the espresso and milk weren't completely mixed, and I enjoyed drinking it without a straw. I could taste the layers and it was delicious. My friend had the Colombia Buena Vista Geisha, and they enjoyed the roasting level and ended up buying some beans.

On October 2, 2019, I had delicious sushi at Kentaro Takahashi's place and my stomach was full, but it was still before 9 o'clock. I didn't want to go back to the hotel just yet, so I took the subway from Nishi-Umeda and visited LiLo Coffee Roasters. Unfortunately, Keita was roasting coffee at the time, so I had their usual cold brew coffee from East Timor for 350 yen. It was as good as always, with a sharp and pleasant aftertaste. Since I only needed to go back to the hotel after that, I bought 20 bags of East Timor drip coffee. The price had gone up from 120 yen to 130 yen, but since it was the only drip coffee available, I didn't mind. I paid with PayPay and left the shop. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

The place seemed really popular, so I decided to give it a try! The staff were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, and the coffee was brewed carefully, but when I actually tasted it... it was just okay. It was more like a regular coffee. As for the price, I'm not sure if it was worth it. I had a hot cappuccino, so maybe the iced coffee that many people were drinking is different. Perhaps I had set my expectations too high! Thank you for the meal.

I visited a small coffee stand called LiLo Coffee Roasters in Amerikamura in Shinsaibashi! This shop offers authentic cold brew coffee, attracting coffee lovers of all ages, from young customers to regulars. Enjoy the aroma and taste of coffee in the cozy atmosphere, and take in the stylish goods and interior decor in the shop. I had a cute latte with latte art, perfect for a night cafe visit. I went to "Lilo Coffee" in Amerikamura and enjoyed a delicious coffee. They have a variety of carefully selected beans, allowing you to savor the aroma and flavor. On this day, I tried the recommended "Kenya" coffee made by the barista Lina. It had a very fruity aroma that was very soothing. The taste was dark but had a refreshing aftertaste. I bought their drip coffee for 120 yen each, and I was happy that I could choose from various flavors. I opted for a surprise selection, but the cute packaging would make it a great gift. They also offer seminars on how to make delicious coffee for those who struggle to make it at home, so I definitely want to learn more. The store also has original cups, cute accessories, and coffee goods, making it a relaxing place to browse. I will definitely go back for more delicious coffee.

Strolling around Amerikamura~♪ There are many stylish cafes in Amerikamura! Among them, this relatively small cafe is a wonderful place that holds coffee workshops to share the charm of coffee. I first mentioned my preference for dark roast coffee, and they suggested a few options for me to choose from. I decided on the coffee from East Timor! It has a strong bitterness, subtle acidity, and sweetness, making it incredibly delicious. This cafe offers a variety of coffees from different regions, so I would like to try a couple more types next time! I'm completely hooked on coffee now. This place seems essential for enjoying delicious curry and coffee at home. I feel like I need to keep learning more about coffee! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On November 8, 2018, I was planning to part ways with my friend who lives in Osaka after dinner, but we ended up impulsively heading to Lilo, which was still open. We arrived at 10:50 PM, but were warmly welcomed by Keita and enjoyed a Kenya cold brew coffee for 350 yen. The shop was already preparing the next day's cold brew coffee, which was quite impressive. Thank you for the delicious meal. We also visited Lilo Coffee Shop in between, making a total of three visits in one day. It was a very fulfilling day. Thank you for accommodating us late.

I visited LiLo Coffee Roasters after stopping by Shukurekur Yotsubashi branch. It was not too crowded as it was past 1:30 pm. Luckily, I was able to meet Keita and ordered a Rwandan cold brew coffee for 550 yen. It had a fruity and deep flavor with a sharp aftertaste, which I found delicious. This time, I bought 30 bags of East Timor drip coffee for home use and a stainless steel cup with the LiLo logo for 2200 yen. The drip coffee has an expiration date until June next year, but I don't think I'll have it in stock until then. Thank you for the meal. Now, shall we go on to the next stop on the LiLo tour?
