A renowned yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto. A group of meat lovers who became friends at a Hirokiya event. There were only 4 of us, but we had a great time at Daisho-en. First, we had a platter of kimchi and namul, both delicious and generous servings. The marinated harami yukke was rich in flavor. The heart sashimi was easy to eat and tasty. The senmai sashimi had a crunchy texture that was addictive, with no unpleasant smell. We started with a platter of three types of black tongue. The tongue was of exceptional quality, with a perfect balance of flavor, texture, and fat. We then had a hearty platter of salt-grilled meats, each with its unique qualities. We continued with more delicious cuts of meat, each one more exciting than the last. The meal ended with Daisho-en's specialty cold noodles with tongue, a perfect finish to a perfect meal. Daisho-en's expertise in sourcing and handling meat, as well as their cutting skills, are unrivaled in Kyoto.

Located about a 2-minute walk from Hanazono Station, this restaurant was a revisit for me after a long time. - Harami Yukke: 1080 yen - Special Tongue, Top Tongue, Top Mino: 880 yen - Kimchi Platter: 680 yen - Bean Sprout Namul: 300 yen - Tail Soup: 1080 yen - Grilled Pork Tongue: 1180 yen - Senmai (pork intestine) Sashimi: 780 yen - Assorted Meat Platter (Brisket, Chuck, Pork Tongue, Pork Loin, Harami) with optional Ichibo and Chuck: prices not specified I requested each grilled item to be served individually. Everything was delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the grilled dishes, the tail soup, and the Chuck. My companion preferred the Harami Yukke and the Top Mino. This is a great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price. I would like to visit again.

Great quality meat at a reasonable price. I was craving liver so much... The seared liver was exquisite♡ All the other meats were also delicious, and being able to eat them at that price is a great deal! It was late at night so I couldn't eat much, but next time I want to go early and order a lot. I will visit again! #Kyoto #KyotoGourmet #Hanazono #HanazonoGourmet #Meat #Liver #DaishoEn #GionDaishoEn

This is my third time here, and I love it more each time I come! It's delicious, fun, and cozy! I never expected to find Takano Tani Tsuneniku here - it felt familiar, like I'd heard of it before, but getting a proper explanation was impressive! They really source amazing meat here! This is a favorite spot of mine that I always visit whenever I'm in Kyoto!

Visited upon request from a friend who came from Tokyo. Tail soup 1080 yen, Harami Tataki 1000 yen, seared liver 880 yen, premium tongue 1980 yen, marbled sirloin (loin) 1580 yen, misji (arm) 1580 yen, hiuchi (thigh) 1380 yen, lean marushin (thigh) 1380 yen, kameno ko (thigh) 1180 yen, frank (belly) 1380 yen. It's great that you can order your favorite cut one by one. All cuts are high quality and delicious no matter which one you eat. Personally, I love the Tataki and want to eat it forever. Also, I like the tail soup. It's delicious with lots of ingredients. A cozy and enjoyable place to spend time. I want to visit again.

JR Hanazono Station front yakiniku restaurant directly managed by Daisho-en Seinikuten. The quality of the meat is excellent, and you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price. We gathered with friends who love yakiniku this time and had a private room. From the first plate to the end, it was excellent!

This is a restaurant I go to regularly. I went there yesterday and they served delicious meat. They had a special kind of Japanese beef called "Maboroshi no Wagyu Take no Tani Tsunagi Gyu," which is lean but full of flavor. It was not too fatty and easy on the stomach. As always, the chef Takashi was entertaining and made the day enjoyable. My son Shou also enjoyed the meat that was prepared for him. Overall, it was a great day!

Located about a 3-minute walk from Hanazono Station, this restaurant has become quite popular and it was about a year since my last visit due to difficulty in getting reservations. The reservation availability varies by day, but it's better to book early. Prices range from 300 yen for Napa cabbage kimchi and bean sprout namul to 1980 yen for premium tongue. I tried various cuts of meat and they were all delicious. The marbling was rich but not heavy, making it very easy to eat. The tataki series was also tasty, with the harami being a personal favorite. The tail soup was particularly enjoyable. The fact that you can enjoy high-quality meat at such reasonable prices is amazing. I definitely want to visit again.

Budget: 4000 yen We quickly used it for two people, but the cost performance wasn't as great as some reviews say. The tongue and harami were just okay, with a strong taste. - Special tongue: Six long pieces of tongue with a strong salty flavor. - Special harami: The size and taste were decent. - Cut-off pieces - Harami yukhoe: The harami had a chewy texture. - Heart sashimi: It was slimy. - Egg cuppa

I finally went to "Daisho-en" in Kyoto, which I was curious about. I heard it has the best cost performance for yakiniku. They have a selection of "Today's Meat" written on a blackboard inside the restaurant. The sirloin, flank, and harami were especially delicious. The sauce that goes well with rice is amazing. Eating meat, then rice, then beer is the best. It's irresistible when you put it on rice. I can't stop... it's a sin... This yakiniku restaurant is at a station where I never get off, but I'm glad I tried a shop I wanted to go to. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to try the yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto called Osho-en! The location is right by Hanazono Station. I remember passing through Hanazono Station a lot when I lived in Kyoto and went to Katsura River, but this time getting off at the station felt special. Osho-en is located right by JR Hanazono Station, and the restaurant is clean and the seating arrangement is spacious. On the left side after entering are table seats, and on the right side are tatami mat seats. The menu is reasonably priced and includes a good selection of cuts, making it easy to choose. On this day, I had kimchi platter, harami tataki, chimaki roast beef, premium tongue, hiruchi, zabuton, premium harami, hoso, and harami o-toshi. The harami tataki was especially delicious, with a rich umami flavor. The premium tongue was tender and flavorful. The zabuton, premium harami, and hoso were all excellent, with the zabuton being particularly melt-in-your-mouth. The harami o-toshi was a great way to end the meal. Overall, the food was great and reasonably priced!

I made a reservation about a week ago and visited at 6:00 pm. Since I made the reservation with my personal mobile phone, I tried a few times. It's a short walk from Hanazono Station, and the bus stop is also nearby, so it's not hard to access even though it's a bit far from Kyoto Station. We ordered the following for two people, with each meat portion being for one person: - Kimchi platter 650 yen - Harami yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) 1080 yen - Senmai (beef intestines) skewers 780 yen - Premium tongue (4 slices, half cut) 1880 yen - Premium harami (4 slices) 1880 yen - Skirt steak 1280 yen - Chuck flap tail 1580 yen - Sirloin steak 1380 yen - Egg soup - Bibimbap I heard that the cost performance is good, but for one person with this amount and thin cuts at this price, even though the quality is good, I'm not sure if the cost performance is that great. The saltiness is quite strong, and I can't eat marbled meat, only lean meat. The egg soup was thick and creamy, which I liked.

When talking about how yakiniku is best enjoyed at a yakiniku restaurant, we suddenly craved it and decided to visit one. Due to the impact of COVID-19, it's better to confirm the operating hours by phone as they may be different from usual. It's located right near JR Hanazono Station, with a parking lot nearby. Prices for dishes like Hiuchi (thigh) for 1380 yen, Ichibo (thigh) for 1480 yen, Kurimi (arm) for 1280 yen, and Tangenta for 680 yen are reasonable. We also ordered today's seared Tataki for 1000 yen, along with side dishes like moyashi namul for 300 yen, sanchu for 300 yen, and tamago soup for 400 yen. It's recommended to order from the daily specials menu. The seared dishes are particularly delicious, and the marbled cuts are very tender, so ordering those with more lean meat is recommended for those with a big appetite. The tangenta is always a good choice as a snack. Overall, it's a great value for delicious meat. We definitely want to visit again.

I revisited Daisho-en in front of Hanazono Station. It was full again this time, so it's better to visit after making a reservation. Hiuchi (thigh) 1180 yen, Misuji (shoulder) 1280 yen, Ichibo (thigh) 980 yen, thick-sliced lamb 980 yen, tongue 580 yen, triangular tataki 980 yen, harami yukke 980 yen, harami steak 1180 yen, egg soup 380 yen. First of all, the triangular tataki was quite delicious. All the meat was very tasty, but I was quietly hooked on the tongue. It's small and just right for a snack. Eating to satisfaction costs around 5000 yen per person. The cost-performance ratio is good, so I plan to revisit.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, my favorite local yakiniku restaurant closed down. When I decided to look for a new place to try, I found this restaurant after doing some research. It's located about a 3-minute walk from Hanazono Station on the JR Saga Arashiyama Line. There is no parking lot, but there are several parking spaces nearby. While reservations are not required, it's better to call ahead as they are often fully booked. They offer dishes such as Harami Yukke for 980 yen, Upper Tongue for 1180 yen, and Special Harami for 1680 yen. Side dishes like Chinese cabbage kimchi for 280 yen, bean sprout namul for 280 yen, and egg soup for 380 yen are also available. They have a regular menu and a blackboard menu with daily recommendations. The staff may not provide clear recommendations, so it's better to ask the master. The quality of the meat is excellent, especially considering the prices. There is a good amount of marbling, but the lean cuts are refreshing. Personally, I preferred the Chimaeki. The drink prices are reasonable, making it a great value if you don't drink too much. It was a successful new discovery, and I would like to visit again.

I visited the restaurant Daisho-en in front of Hanazono Station in Kyoto, which I occasionally see on Instagram. I asked the staff for recommendations, but they didn't have much to say. So, I ordered the recommended premium tongue, premium Harami, kimchi, yukhoe, tongue base, and tendon. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the cost performance was also good. However, I found the sauce and salt to be bland, giving me a flat impression of the yakiniku. It's a shame because with some seasoning adjustments, it could be even better. I hope they make improvements in the future, as I was impressed with the quality of the meat.

On my third try, I finally managed to make a reservation. It's no wonder it's hard to get a reservation on a whim. The thick sirloin was amazing, and the triangle-cut was incredibly tender. The seared lamb loin and low-temperature roasted beef were all so melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Everything was so good. The kimchi and soup were also tasty, and I couldn't stop eating rice with a spoon. There were various types of hormone dishes, but since there were three women this time, we couldn't try them. Oh, this is probably my favorite yakiniku restaurant.

I went with a gourmet acquaintance who wanted to try this famous yakiniku restaurant in Hanazono, Kyoto. We got off at Hanazono Station, and it seemed like a one-time visit. The meat quality at this shop, run by a butcher, was excellent and delicious. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce, but I would consider revisiting if I were nearby.

All the meat here is fresh and of high quality, with unbeatable cost performance. The simplicity of the dishes really brings out the maximum flavor of the meat, making it a true taste of authentic meat. Simple yet the best. MEAT + SMILE = HAPPY at Daisho-en Banzai.
