It is located about a 1-minute walk from tawanico on the same street. When you go up to the 2nd floor of the building, you will be greeted by the cake showcase. The interior of the store has about 20 spacious and comfortable counter seats. First, choose a cake or a cafe menu limited to eat-in, pay at the counter, and then take a seat at your favorite table. When I visited at the opening time of 12:00 on Sunday, there were already 2 groups seated. Today, I enjoyed eating in and also bought some souvenirs for my family to take out later. The "Baked Fig and Earl Grey Tart" costs 815 yen (takeout 800 yen). Although the price made me hesitate a bit, the size of the tart is quite satisfying (I also ate a shortcake, so I was really full). The taste and texture of the tart are my favorite - the moist almond base, the perfect sweetness, the tender baked figs, and the caramelized sweetness are all great. There is a white cream with a hint of acidity under the figs, which is also delicious. I wonder what kind of cream it is based on - I'll ask next time. The "Grape Shortcake" costs 611 yen (takeout 600 yen). The high sugar content grapes and the fine quality sponge cake, along with the rich milk-flavored cream, are top-notch just like those from a first-class patisserie. The "Iced Coffee" costs 489 yen. I'm not very good with coffee, but I've recently been able to drink black iced coffee from a bottle. This coffee was very fragrant and delicious, but I found it too acidic for my taste. Maybe this is what real coffee tastes like. I wanted to take out a cute carrot cake and ask about the tart, but the staff seemed busy and I couldn't find any scones, so I headed to the main store of Tawanico. Maybe it was just today, but it seemed like the staff were understaffed for the capacity. In the end, I didn't get any water, but the staff's smiles were lovely, even in the midst of their busyness.

I decided to go to Tananico and when I was lining up, a kind person informed me that there was a cafe with a spacious seating area. I ordered the Momomo Tart and a blend coffee. The buttery aroma of the tart crust, the gentle sweetness of the juicy peaches, and the slightly tangy cream cheese all matched perfectly and were very delicious. I chose a medium-dark blend coffee which had a nutty flavor with a hint of acidity, and it was also delicious.

The tart crust was delicious and of course the fruits as well, but this time I had the seasonal limited edition mango tart♡ On top of the tart crust, there was passion fruit mousse and lime jelly✨ The topping was mango and coconut? Sablé, as expected, all the tarts are delicious♡♡

Lemon Shortcake ¥642 (Eat-in price) I usually only had lemon sweets from Tawariko-san once a year, like the lemon cheesecake cookies I had the other day, but a few years ago, they had a lemon shortcake that was only available until the end of June for their anniversary! When I saw the post on Instagram, I went to try it right away. And it was even more delicious than I imagined!! The lemon-flavored cream, lemon sponge, lemon peel... it was all about lemon!! When you eat it, you'll feel like there's more cream than it looks, and for cream lovers like me, it was irresistible! Personally, I think I like this more than the cheesecake cookie sandwich. At the bottom, there were lots of lemon peels (maybe lemon confit?), and since I'm not a fan of the texture of peels, that part was a bit difficult to eat, but everything else was so delicious that it was amazing (˘ᴗ˘) I usually only eat tarts at Tawariko-san, so it was my first time trying their sponge cake, and it was really delicious! I'm looking forward to peach season coming soon~(^.^)

Lemon cheese cookie sandwich ¥611 Delicious!!! I had it last year too, but this year the lemon flavor seems to be stronger. It's a cheesecake, but you can really taste the lemon flavor and it was delicious! The cookie is very crispy and crunchy. It's full of lemon confit and lemon zest, truly a lemon lover's dream dessert!

I visited this cafe based on a friend's recommendation. When I approached from the direction of the store, there was a long line, so I thought, "Maybe the cafe is also crowded," but luckily there were two seats available and I was seated right away. The tart was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was great, and it's perfect for a date. I will definitely come back! The entrance is a bit hard to find (but it adds to the hidden gem cafe vibe).

The Carrot Cake had big chunks of ingredients, making it satisfying to eat. The Strawberry Tart had sweet strawberries! When it comes to strawberry desserts, it's delicious when the strawberries are sweet and tasty.

After climbing the stairs from the narrow entrance to the second floor, you will find a stylish and lovely space. I visited around 2 pm, and the place was almost full. Even though it got busy for a moment after I entered, it seemed like the turnover was good, and there weren't overflowing waiting customers. I wanted to try the mille-feuille, but when I saw the tarts in the showcase, they all looked delicious, making it hard to choose. However, I had already decided in my heart, so I went for the seasonal strawberry mille-feuille. After sitting down and waiting for about 15 minutes, the mille-feuille arrived in front of me. I took a bite of the pastry first, and it was crispy and amazing. The strawberries were sweet and it was a perfect match. The iced tea was refreshing and delicious, and I couldn't help but finish everything on the plate. Despite its substantial appearance, I devoured it all. It was delicious!

I love mille-feuille, especially during this time of year! I've been to Towanoa several times and went again this year. The mille-feuille there is incredibly delicious, so I want to go at least one more time before the season ends. Towanoa is located on the second floor and the entrance is a bit hard to find, but the interior is very stylish with cute cakes. They have a sweets plate that changes depending on the season, and right now it's mille-feuille! The mille-feuille here is crispy and flaky, with a light cream and the sweet and sourness of strawberries blending perfectly. It's quite light, so even though it's big, you'll finish it in no time! I highly recommend this place, so if you love mille-feuille, definitely give it a try!

The sign was small and I almost missed it, but there was a stylish cafe on the second floor of the building. It had a 100% female clientele. When you walk in, there is a display case where you order and pay before finding a seat. I ordered carrot cake and a cafe latte. The latte had a cute bear latte art on top. Next to the popular cafe, there is a sister store called Towanio. It is located on the 2nd floor of a building, so I hesitated for a moment because I couldn't tell if it was crowded from below. However, when I was told that I could get in quickly at Towanio while waiting in line at Tawaniko, I decided to go there. I ordered a special menu, which was more than twice the price of the other regular cakes, but it was delicious and had a special feeling. The seating was also more relaxing here, so it was nice.

Taiwanese Castella and Peach Fluffy Parfait for 1400 yen. Medium to dark roast hot coffee for 469 yen. Tawanicco, with a line, came over here. The parfait was assembled in front of us, with fresh peaches being peeled. The parfait had fresh peaches, plum sauce, peach wine jelly, gelato, tart crumble, and cotton candy. The portion was generous, with half a peach included. The Taiwanese Castella was delicious with a rich egg flavor, and there were three slices of it. The coffee was meticulously hand-dripped.

At first glance, the parfait seemed like it would spike my blood sugar, but it was surprisingly refreshing and I finished it all with ease. However, I couldn't help but think that a simpler peach parfait would have been just as good. The castella was high quality and I think it could be served on its own for everyone to enjoy. The other customers (mostly solo diners on a weekday) seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. Twynoa is a relaxing place to enjoy some time alone. Thank you for the meal! The cafe has a natural atmosphere, with a showcase of cakes right at the entrance and a bright and open cafe space in the back. In addition to the tarts, Towanoa offers cafe-exclusive parfaits and seasonal dessert plates. We decided to take away a few items this time. The staff kindly explained the composition of each tart. We chose the following items: - Strawberry Brown Chocolate Tart: A unique tart combining strawberries with brown cheese and blond chocolate. I finally tried the matcha tart and carrot cake that I've been wanting to eat with Twynoa! The matcha tart actually had bananas in it... and the flavor was really strong, and since I don't like bananas in cakes, I thought I would prefer it without them! However, the tart crust was incredibly delicious, so I want to try it with other flavors like strawberry next time! As for the carrot cake, the carrot flavor was lighter than I expected. It had peel in it, which I'm not a fan of, so I'm sorry about that... (；；) The ones I bought this time were overall not that great, but I think it depends on what you choose because some can be really delicious! The tart was delicious!
