Before 7:30 on a regular weekday, I passed by the store and saw a sign saying it opens at 7:30. According to Tabelog, I believe it was supposed to open at 8:00, but it seems that on weekdays it opens at 7:30. So, I decided to wait for the opening time and visited the store. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread, which instantly made me happy. From 7:30 onwards (I think until 9:00?), the small size of coffee is only 150 yen. I was tempted to try it, but I'll save it for another time. I chose three items to try: - Croissant au Jambon: Takeout 368 yen tax included / Eat-in 374 yen tax included I warmed it up in the microwave for 30 seconds at home. The croissant was crispy and fluffy, and the white sauce was creamy. The combination was just perfect! The thin slices of ham added a delicious touch. This one croissant was quite filling. - Pain au Chocolat: Takeout 303 yen tax included / Eat-in 308 yen tax included This was a popular choice and I debated between this and the normal croissant. I warmed it up lightly in the microwave. The crispy outer layer was delicious, but when warmed, it became softer and easier to eat without falling apart. The melted chocolate inside was so tasty! - Mentaiko France: Takeout 303 yen tax included / Eat-in 308 yen tax included This one not only had mentaiko paste but also shiso leaves! I also like the Mentaiko France with plenty of mentaiko like at Panstock, but the addition of shiso leaves gave it a refreshing taste. Moreover, the baguette of this Mentaiko France had grains or nuts mixed into the dough, making it very satisfying to eat! It seemed nutritious too. Even though I didn't eat a lot, my personal top 3 Mentaiko France favorites are these three! I also recalled other bakeries I like. Boulangers has several stores nationwide, and I have visited the Shibuya store, although it is currently closed. Looking back at Tabelog reviews, I realized I had also tried the Pain au Chocolat there before. I must really love it! They are having a Chocolate Fair for Valentine's Day, so I would love to visit again!

The seats for eating in are full after 12 pm on weekdays. The turnover is fast. You can order soup even outside of morning hours. The lunch box is a good deal. The sweet potato muffin was delicious. The fig and cheese bread, chicken curry bread, and egg, tomato, and roast beef sandwich were all tasty.

I had been recommended this bakery that I was curious about. I decided to try their café latte, which had been recommended, and for the bread, I chose a plain croissant after some hesitation. It was delicious without any complaints. They also have a weekend-only morning plate (including a drink for 1000 yen), so I plan to come back for that.

Hakata Station is very crowded!! All the cafes near the station are packed with people. I was looking for somewhere a bit less crowded and happened to come across this shop. It seems to be a store affiliated with Bake Cruise. I bought some bread to take away and tried their croissant ice cream in the shop! Perfect for summer! Not bad at all!

I visited for breakfast and ordered a sausage bun, a chocolate bun, and an iced coffee. The total cost was over 1000 yen, so the cost performance wasn't great. However, both buns were delicious, especially the crispy chocolate bun. The place was always crowded, showing its popularity.

A bakery located about a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station that is open until late at night. I visited on a Saturday at 7:00 pm and there were still plenty of breads available. They have a variety of delicious bread options on display. One great thing is that when you eat in, you can warm up your bread in the oven yourself. The donuts had a good balance of dough and cream, although I wished there was more cream. The taste, however, was delicious. The staff members are also very kind and friendly.

I bought the donut chocolate and donut custard cream that were featured on TV here. I tried the chocolate one. The chocolate cream was rich and smooth, and it was a satisfying taste. Price was 310 yen.

I got takeout for my office lunch. I also got a donut for a snack. It looks similar to I'mdonut but doesn't melt. It's a bit pricey but very delicious. The Tenjin store always has long lines, so this one is a hidden gem. The croissants are also delicious.

I was overwhelmed by the selection of delicious-looking breads at the bakery. I had a hard time deciding which one to eat, and ended up only being able to eat one due to my stomach capacity. It was delicious. If I have the chance to come back, I would like to try a different type of bread.

The most attractive feature is the convenient access, just a 1-minute walk from the nearest subway station. Inside the store, there are many different types of bread displayed, each with a wide variety of flavors. It's hard to choose just one. The most popular item seems to be the croissant. There is also a stylish eat-in space at the back of the store, which can also be used as a cafe. The atmosphere is lively with many customers. Located about a 1-minute walk from Fukuoka Gion Station, this bakery is on the first floor of a building. The smell of bread outside caught my attention, so I decided to check it out around 3 o'clock. The eat-in space was almost full, with many customers also getting take-out orders. There is a toaster in the eat-in space, so you can enjoy freshly baked bread. You can order a drink with your bread for 250 yen. The croissants are popular, with variations like croissant sandwiches and coronets available. This time, I bought a Marble Croissant au Amande and a Shiso and Pine Nut Mentaiko France. The Marble Croissant has homemade almond cream inside, giving it a cookie-like texture and taste in addition to the flaky croissant layers. It's on the sweeter side. The Mentaiko France doesn't have mentaiko stuffed inside like usual, but it's topped with it before baking, giving it a unique presentation. When served in the eat-in space, it was sliced for easy eating. The combination of shiso and mentaiko provided a nice flavor accent, making it different from the regular Mentaiko France.

I recently visited a bakery near Gion Station that has been featured on TV a lot. Although their croissants are very popular, I love bagels so I decided to buy one. The staff recommended warming it up in the oven, but this time I didn't. The bagel with pepper cheese cost 280 yen, which is a bit pricey. The cheese had chunky pieces in it and was cut into squares. The bagel was more substantial than I expected and one was enough to satisfy me. The texture was dense, just the way I like it! The flavor was dominated by black pepper and the cheese was delicious. It was expensive, but a satisfying bagel!

I tried going into a bakery famous for croissants in Gion, Hakata for breakfast. I ordered a Croque Madame for 480 yen and a Royal Milk Tea for 420 yen, totaling 990 yen including tax. I sat at the counter seat. It's 8:30 am on a Sunday, and there are many foreign tourists from nearby hotels and local residents like couples. Aside from croissants, there are many other types of bread, all looking delicious and filling. The Croque Madame, with bacon, egg, and cheese, matched well with the croissant's flavor and was delicious.

I wanted to distract my growling stomach at the cafe and three minutes later, I wanted to buy a Kouign-Amann here after crossing the signal. My partner browsed for bread while I waited outside like a puppy. My partner chose Kouign-Amann for 281 yen, a crispy and sweet pastry more like a dessert, it was deliciously sinful! They also got a donut with custard cream for 314 yen, a modern fluffy and sweet donut, also delicious!

It's a busy afternoon. I found out later that it seems to be a shop that specializes in croissants, but I missed out on trying them. I had a curry bun with 10 kinds of vegetables on top and a limited-time cherry blossom scone. The curry bun was colorful and luxurious, while the scone had a subtle sweetness with a hint of saltiness that was delicious.

Recently, I have been going to a bakery 1-2 times a week. I used to frequent the Tenjin store because I thought their croissants were the best, but lately I have been using the Hakata store on Ohorikoen Street. Every time I visit, I purchase different pastries and try out recommended items from acquaintances. The Kouign-Amann, a traditional pastry from Brittany, made with croissant dough and sugar added, is like a cross between a pastry and bread with a satisfying taste. All of their pastries, not just the croissants, are delicious. I plan to continue using this bakery.

I tried the limited edition Sakura croissant coronet. It had a taste similar to sakura mochi and was crispy and delicious. I would like to try other flavors as well. It's not easy to find bakeries open late at night, so I could buy some for breakfast the next morning after dinner.

Around 10 o'clock, I passed by a stylish looking restaurant that caught my eye. There were many customers both on the terrace and inside the restaurant. Feeling a bit hungry, I decided to go in. Later I found out that it is a chain restaurant with locations nationwide. Inside, there were various types of bread displayed. The most popular item seemed to be the croissant. This time, I ordered a croissant with cream filling, a sandwich with hard bread, and an iced cafe latte to go. The cream inside the croissant was not too sweet and rich, making it delicious, although it would probably go well with black coffee. The sandwich with hard bread had ham and cheese inside. I wanted to warm it up, but it wasn't possible, so I ate it cold, and it was still tasty. They made each espresso one by one, so the coffee was also delicious. However, the staff seemed busy as they had to confirm our orders before bringing our drinks. It's a bakery that makes me want to visit their local branches as well. Thank you for the meal.

If you walk from Hakata Station towards Gion Station on Ohoridori Street, you will find this bakery on the left side. The interior of the store is spacious with a high ceiling, creating a bright, clean, and stylish atmosphere. They offer various bread priced in the 300 yen range. The bread is displayed on different trays, not in a uniform way. Among them, I purchased the Olive Gruyere for 238 yen including tax. It is a bread with a firm texture filled with olives and cheese. I think it would be quite delicious when freshly baked. Despite its small size, there is also an eat-in corner, making it a nice place to visit.

In front of Hakata Station, along Taihaku Street, there is a bakery where women are always lining up. It is said to have its main store in Tokyo. The sight of the crispy baguettes behind the glass is irresistible. The bakery offers a variety of hard-baked goods, and the whole place is filled with the fragrant smell of wheat and butter. The croissants seem to be popular, but they are buttery and crumbly, so I passed on them. The olive gruyere baguette, with Swiss cheese, is delicious and fragrant. It's easy to carry around in your bag and snack on while on the go.

Eat-in and take-out customers are both plentiful. The bread keeps coming out one after another, freshly baked and displayed at the storefront. I came for breakfast and was drawn to the stylish and cute array of bread, which made me want to try them all. I ended up ordering two extra bread items aside from my breakfast. When I picked out my bread and mentioned that I wanted to eat in at the register, they asked if I had a table reserved. Since I didn't, they quickly reserved a table for me and then I proceeded to pay. Luckily, there was a nice spot available by the wall for one person. For breakfast, I had the B Thick Toast Set for 500 yen. The bread itself had cream inside, so it was delicious even without butter. I also had a hot coffee. In addition, I tried two other bread items: the Black Donut for 385 yen, which was fluffy and not greasy with plenty of homemade praline cream inside, and the Heart Brioche for 385 yen, which was not only cute but also had figs, berries, raisins, white chocolate, milk chocolate, and crispy pie dough layers inside. Everything was delicious, and there were so many more tempting bread options to try. I will definitely be revisiting this place again.
