After a health check-up, I was craving a cigarette and ended up wandering around Umeda underground shopping area until I found myself here. I could have just had a regular iced coffee, but I decided to try the "Iced Wiener Coffee" instead. When I was a kid, I used to think "Coffee with wiener (ham)? What's that!?" But now, I enjoyed the coffee without syrup, savoring its original taste, and slowly melting the whipped cream for sweetness. It's really tough trying to smoke, isn't it?

After enjoying an excellent lunch at the Tonkatsu restaurant, we decided to take a break here. It was a reunion with a lunch friend, so we needed to catch up on each other's recent activities. We ordered a regular iced coffee and brought it to our table. The Hollys' iced coffee is brewed with water, making it rich and delicious. We drink it black without any additives, as we believe that pure coffee tastes the best. We finished catching up on each other's recent activities and encouraged each other to do our best in our respective departments in the afternoon!

The cafe does not have power outlets or Wi-Fi for customers, although you may be able to connect to the Osaka Free Wi-Fi. The place is usually quite crowded, but Holly's Cafe is known for its good value.

The spacious interior of the restaurant has a variety of table seats and single counter seats, making it quite large in scale. The counter seats are equipped with power outlets for charging. In the Umeda Station area where many restaurants allow smoking indoors, it was a good impression that the smoking booths were separated by doors. The taste of the coffee matched the price.

I went to Holy's Cafe! It's a place where you can relax and have tea without too many people. It's a good spot for those who want to work on their laptop or read quietly. I had coffee, but it's a cozy atmosphere for anyone. Definitely check it out!☆

For a midday drink to sober up, I went to my usual Coco. I had a red bean paste and iced coffee set, my wife had a sandwich and iced tea set, and my daughter had oven-baked hotcakes with orange juice. The total came to ¥1,430, paid with PayPay. The red bean paste here is generously filled and surprisingly good. It's a convenient and relaxing place to visit without feeling pressured. VIVA! Chain stores!

After drinking at three places and getting drunk, my spouse and I needed to sober up with some coffee. Chain stores are really convenient for that. In the end, we ended up ordering things like "Kokura Toast" and parfait...no wonder we're becoming the typical middle-aged couple in terms of body shape. It's nice to enjoy coffee and sweets, while having leisurely conversations about our daughter's future and the despair of old age haha. All of that for under ¥1,000. I got really drunk from day drinking, so I decided to have some coffee to sober up. But it's Sunday, so most cafes are closed. Therefore, I came here. I ordered a red bean paste set and my wife got a chocolate bar, totaling ¥920 paid with PayPay. The red bean paste is delicious, and it goes well with black coffee. Red bean morning toast set for 430 yen. There was a safe morning option with Dutch iced coffee toast and boiled egg, but I decided to go with red bean butter toast. The red bean had a strong presence and volume, not just a token amount. Assuming the red bean was sweet, I had the iced coffee with milk instead of syrup. Even as a standalone red bean sandwich, this amount of red bean is hard to come by. The person I had a meeting with is a smoker and really wanted to have a smoke before our next appointment. I used to smoke in the past, so I understand the feeling. That's why we visited a smoking-friendly restaurant. Honestly, since smoking was the main purpose, I just had an iced coffee. In today's world where non-smoking is becoming more common, restaurants that still provide smoking areas are fitting in with the times. The coexistence of smoking and non-smoking is what gives value to places like this.

I visited this cafe, "Hollys Cafe Osaka Station 3rd Building Store," for the first time due to a stopover in the Umeda area. It was around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday evening, and the store was quite spacious, making it easy to find a seat. I ordered the Original Blend Coffee (size R) and a pound cake as part of the baked goods set. The total cost was ¥430 including tax. The cafe was easy to find seating, and the coffee menu was reasonably priced, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time there. I look forward to visiting another one of their stores soon!

In the Osaka Station Building, there are three outlets of the famous Hollys Coffee known for its cold brew coffee. The direct competitor, Doutor, only has one outlet at the corner of the Station Building, which was inconvenient. However, they have outlets in the 1st and 3rd buildings. I visited the outlet in the 3rd building. I suddenly felt like having a mixed juice after a long time. Apparently, mixed juice is something that is mainly found in cafes in Kansai, and it's not as common in Kanto. I wonder how it is in other regions. If you have any information, please let me know. I ordered and paid at the register, and received the juice for 420 yen. It's thick, made with bananas, oranges, and milk blended in a mixer. It's nice to have some fruit bits left in it. Recently, there have been banana juice stands popping up, but I'm not really interested in them. Drinking the mixed juice made me realize that I prefer mixed juice over banana juice. After lunch, it's tea time! I wanted something sweet after the pork steak, so I ordered a cream soda for the first time in a while! It had a lot of ice cream in it, which got me excited~ (✯ᴗ✯) But it felt like there was less soda in it! Still, I left the restaurant satisfied!

It's been a while since I went for a stroll in front of the station. I had always wanted to visit Holly's Cafe to complete my wish, so I casually stopped by. Order: - mydarling: White Noir & Coffee set - me: Morning toast & Tea (with fried egg) Holly's Cafe offers free refills on Sundays, which is really helpful. I ended up ordering that this time. The tea was delicious, and I was able to relax, so overall it was good.

Self-cafe located on the basement floor of Osaka Station Building No. 3. There is a similar cafe across the street. Coffee is 270 yen including tax, and tea is 300 yen. It seems quite cheap, but a little more expensive than the cafe across the street. Also, the smoking area is completely separated, with smoking seats in private rooms, so the non-smoking area has clean air. It was a shame to see scattered garbage in the eat-in space. It may have been just a one-time thing, so I won't deduct points, but even for a completely self-service cafe, regular checks would be appreciated.

The Osaka Station Building has many dining options, so I usually explore from the 1st building to the 4th building. After getting tired from exploring, I always have a strategy meeting at the Holy's Cafe located throughout this building. We discuss which places seem good in the 3rd building or which places are delicious in the 1st building for about an hour. Holy's Cafe is always bustling because their homemade cold brew coffee is only 300 yen and a great deal. Since it's cold brew, it has minimal bitterness and offers a refreshing coffee experience. While there are many traditional coffee shops in the Osaka Station Building, the charm of the building would be halved without Holy's Cafe. That's how important this oasis is.

I have passed by this shop many times and have even been inside before. The shop has around 50 seats and is run by two female staff members. Some shops have a larger space and are managed by just one person, but with this location and number of seats, it seems like a lot of work for two people. They serve cold brew coffee here, and it looks like they have around 15 extraction machines. For cold brew coffee, it seems they use about 80 grams of coffee beans for 1 liter of water. The glass servers for extraction look like they hold about 2-3 liters, so they can make around 10-30 cups per server. With this many seats, it seems like the coffee would run out quickly. The taste and service were both excellent, on par with other shops.

In December 2019, after having dinner at a building in front of Osaka Station, I took a break at Hollys Cafe. There are various shops from Osaka Station to Kita-Shinchi, and this time I ordered a hot hojicha latte for 390 yen. I enjoyed it at a table seat. The roasted flavor and bitterness of hojicha, combined with the sweetness of milk, made it delicious. The price was reasonable, which was nice. When I woke up, it was already past 9 in the morning. I realized I overslept and needed to quickly find a cafe for breakfast. So, I hurried to check out of the hotel and headed to this cafe. I had already decided to have breakfast at Hollys Cafe Osaka Station 3rd Building, as it was recommended by a dear follower on a certain social media platform. The cafe is located in the basement of Osaka Station 3rd Building, within the food court area. Although not as complex as Whity Umeda, it can still be confusing, so first-time visitors may want to check the building's directory. Upon arriving at the cafe, I was impressed by how spacious and bright it was. I quickly checked the menu outside the shop and decided to order the oven-baked hotcakes set with Dutch iced coffee, as recommended by my follower. The ordering process was similar to Doutor, where you pay first and then receive your drink and food. I ordered the oven-baked hotcakes with Dutch iced coffee and eagerly awaited my order. The cafe was spacious, bright, and had a modern feel, making it a great place to enjoy breakfast. The hotcakes were delicious and fluffy, and the coffee had a perfect balance of bitterness. Overall, it was a fantastic morning experience at Hollys Cafe. If you ever have the chance to visit the building, I highly recommend stopping by this cafe.
