"We made a reservation for a private room at Kyoyakiniku Hiro Gion Yamanouan with five people. We ordered the Yamanacourse for 10,000 yen, which included a platter of four appetizers, seasonal delicacies, premium sea urchin yukhoe, kimchi platter, seared wagyu sushi, assorted grilled salt dishes, assorted steak dishes, ten kinds of colorful salad with Hiro dressing, assorted grilled marinated dishes, cold noodles, chef's choice dessert, and a 1,000 yen all-you-can-drink option for two hours. Each dish was delicious and the portions were just right, so we didn't feel too full after finishing the meal. I definitely want to visit this place again."

I visited this restaurant after watching the Awa Odori dance. The drink was all-you-can-drink, and there was a good selection of wines and Makgeolli. I believe we had the 8,000 yen Gion course, which included: - Four kinds of appetizers - Seasonal delicacies - Wagyu beef Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) - Three kinds of Kimchi - Two kinds of seared Wagyu beef sushi - Assorted grilled dishes - Ten kinds of colorful salad - Assorted grilled dishes with sauce - For dessert, you could choose from three options, and we had stone-grilled Bibimbap. We were in a private room, and the service from the staff was excellent. The portion of the food was generous and we were very satisfied.

I chose Gion Yamanaan for my meal this time, following my previous experience at Hide in Hiroshima. I decided to go for the premium option and ordered the Yamanaan Steak course. While I had hoped to have a view of the Kamo River, the exquisite dishes more than made up for it. Each dish had a refined and elegant taste, with a perfect balance of melting sweetness. The hospitality of the three chefs and waitresses at the counter was also exceptional. I look forward to coming back here next time.

The interior of the restaurant has a charming atmosphere, as if it were renovated from an old folk house. The meat was very delicious, and the unique ambiance added to the experience. We used a private room, which was spacious and the hospitality was excellent.

The course was excellent with high-quality yakiniku. The sea urchin was a bit so-so, but everything else was almost perfect! Today's discovery was that I don't like Chateaubriand as much as people say. The wagyu toro and aburi meat sushi were especially delicious. Next time, I want to try a private room!

This place is highly recommended for its delicious food in Hiroo. We were seated in a private room which allowed us to enjoy our meal in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The meat dishes were all tasty and had their own unique flavors, but the Chateaubriand was particularly delicious and melted in the mouth. The cold noodles and bibimbap were also delicious, making it a very satisfying dinner. I will definitely come back again.

Let's have a proper dining out experience for the last time this year. Let's indulge in some luxurious meat dishes. I visited Hiro-san Gion Yamanouan after a long time. They provided us with a lovely private room. First of all, the building itself is wonderful, isn't it? It will definitely impress people from other prefectures or foreigners. We were guided to a private room at the back. The staff were dressed in traditional Japanese attire, and their service was top-notch. Each meat dish was a step above. Everything was delicious. The top harami (skirt steak) in the photos was amazing. The meat quality was outstanding, with a crispy texture that you can easily bite into. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. I will definitely come back.

Hiro has been to several branches before, but this is the first time at this high-end restaurant. They ordered a variety of dishes including kimchi platter, thick-cut salted tongue, misuji, ichibo, pot-grilled kalbi, liver, tripe, stone pot bibimbap, and seasonal sherbet. The salted tongue was delicious, but the regular cut might give a more authentic taste. The ichibo steak seemed fancy but was a bit tough. However, the misuji was incredibly tender and worth the price. Lately, they haven't been able to eat much in all-you-can-eat places, so enjoying high-quality meat is more valuable. The staff was friendly, and they would love to visit this branch again.

This is a story from quite some time ago. A friend and I were guided by an acquaintance in Kyoto to a restaurant called Hiro. We decided to visit this time after hearing that Kyoto is also known for delicious meat. The restaurant is located in Gion, where you can feel the essence of Kyoto, and the building used to be a traditional inn, giving it a very atmospheric appearance. We were led to a private room that could accommodate about 6 people, with a beautiful garden view and a sunken hearth to keep us warm. We started with champagne and began the course. According to the menu, we had the following dishes: - Four kinds of appetizers - Assorted seasonal kimchi - Grilled salt dishes of the night - Assorted ten kinds of colorful salad with Hiro dressing - Assorted grilled dishes of the night - Choice of finishing dish: stone-grilled bibimbap, cold noodles, tail soup with rice - Today's chef's choice dessert The beautifully arranged meat dishes that appeared were all delicious. It was great to be able to try various rare cuts of meat, and the sauces and condiments added to the flavor. The meats are carefully selected based on their own criteria, regardless of the origin. The drinks included sparkling wine, followed by yuzu sour as a chaser, and we also had a variety of wines. The wine selection was impressive, and we got a glimpse of the wine cellar, which was fascinating with its glass walls. I had always associated Kyoto with steak or kaiseki cuisine when it comes to meat, but I must say, the yakiniku at this restaurant was incredibly delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended!

I went to Hiro because my son who lives in Kyoto wanted to eat meat. It has been featured on TV recently. Wagyu Yukke: 980 yen: 4.2 points... Sweet and delicious. Beef tongue salt-grilled: 1080 yen: 3.4 points... Average. Thick-cut tongue salt-grilled: 1380 yen: 3.6 points... The marbled part is 4.0 points, but other parts were slightly mixed in, so the overall score dropped. Ultimate Mango Tan: 2480 yen: 4.8 points... Delicious marbled block. Harami: 1680 yen: 3.6 points... Delicious but slightly expensive considering the quantity and taste. Beef toro seared sushi 1 piece 800 yen: 3.9 points. Extra rice: 350 yen: 3.7 points... Good rice and cooking. They said the restaurant is only about 20% full due to the influence of Corona. There weren't many people in the town either. The university is currently on spring break, so there weren't many people out and about. The parking lot was a coin parking lot about 10 meters in front of the shop (900 yen from 21:01 to 22:24).

New Year's dinner party~ (*゚▽゚*) We wanted to eat delicious yakiniku, so we came to Hiro-san in Gion. It was our first time at this branch, and the atmosphere was more calm compared to other locations. We ordered tongue, Chateaubriand, marbled meat, and a kimchi assortment. The marbled meat was extremely rich and flavorful! I used to be able to eat this type of meat easily, but now I prefer lean meat, which surprised me and made me a little sad. My companion who likes lean meat also really enjoyed the Chateaubriand and ordered more. It was juicy but not heavy, and incredibly delicious! I could eat this endlessly. We were able to enjoy delicious meat in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

There are many branches of the yakiniku restaurant Hiro in Kyoto, each with its own unique characteristics which make it enjoyable. Tonight, I visited "Yakiniku Hiro Gion Yamanouan" where the traditional machiya building interior exudes a chic and calming atmosphere. Located in Gion, the restaurant has a slightly luxurious feel to it. The high-quality meat from their butcher shop is a standout feature. Their creative dishes and side dishes are delicious, and with a wide range of menu options, it's tempting to try a bit of everything. They also offer a variety of alcoholic beverages. It's a bonus that Hiro serves yukhoe (Korean beef tartare). I highly recommend the thick-cut tongue and misuji (top blade) at this restaurant.

It is located on Daimon Street, near Shijo Street. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese style exterior. Upon entering, there is a cozy counter where you can sit discreetly. Walking through, you will pass a glass wine cellar and reach a private room at the back. The private room has a great atmosphere as well. We ordered the Gion course, which started with Yuke, followed by seared sushi, shellfish, and various cuts of meat, ending with stone-grilled Bibimbap. The portions were generous, and we left feeling very satisfied. This restaurant has definitely left a lasting impression, and I highly recommend it, although I hesitate to share this hidden gem.

We visited a yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto that was recommended by a friend. The exterior and interior were both stylish, and we were excited about the meat selection. The restaurant purchases whole cows, offering a variety of cuts. We ordered the recommended meats of the day, as well as harami and tongue, and enjoyed them with kimchi and beer while waiting. When the meat arrived, the staff explained it to us, although we were too eager to eat to pay much attention. One thing I remember is that the meat at this restaurant is cut slightly differently from others. The texture may have been a bit different, but it was delicious nonetheless! I made a reservation with my colleagues at work and visited the restaurant. Since there were many of us, we were seated in a tatami room. The quality of the meat was consistent and provided a sense of reassurance. While the meat itself may not be outstanding, the fact that each type of meat was seasoned differently showcased the restaurant's commitment. The student part-time staff explained this well. Behind the sliding door, there was a senior staff member keeping an eye on things. Good service often enhances the taste of the food, and I could see that they had a solid system in place to ensure consistent service quality. It was a lovely restaurant where you can have a pleasant time during your meal.
