I love the gyoza at Manchuria and it had been a while since I last visited. The gyoza skin was chewy and the flavor was light, just the way I like it. The highball was served from a tap, I think. It had a good amount of carbonation and was delicious. The draft beer was Suntory Premium Malt, and the bottled beer was Asahi. I ordered pickled vegetables as a side dish and it was a generous portion for 180 yen. Next time, I'll go for the half size. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

<Visited for the first time on 22/12>
I had some business at the Fukushima Community Center. Before that, I decided to grab a bite to eat without any prior research and stumbled upon this place near the coin parking lot. This place is often mentioned in radio commercials with catchy phrases. I was surprised to see that they had a variety of menu items besides gyoza. By the time I arrived, it was a little past noon, and the first floor was already full. The second floor was quite spacious with two round tables that could rotate, making it convenient for large groups. I ordered the following items using a pad for ordering, as things have really evolved.
- Kansai-style Umami Sauce Tianjin Rice (¥570)
- Kanto-style Sweet Vinegar Sauce Tianjin Rice with Pan-Fried Gyoza (¥880)
Both came with soup and pickles. The Kanto-style dish was part of the November fair and had a tangy vinegar sauce. However, the egg was slightly overcooked, lacking the fluffy texture, which was disappointing. Self-service for water and small plates. The Kansai-style dish had a light and savory sauce with reduced salt. The gyoza had a perfect balance of vegetable freshness and savory meat flavor that followed. The generous portion size was also a plus.

This is my first visit. I decided to try a different restaurant's gyoza as I have been used to the taste of another place. The gyoza had thin skins and I could taste the ingredients well, especially the vegetables. There were many types of ramen on the menu, and vegetables were used a lot in general. The flavors were gentle and kind. The sweet and sour Tianjin-style fried rice (Kanto style) had a nice level of sourness. Maybe the usual taste of the gyoza and fried rice suits me.

It seems that Gyoza Manchuria Noda Hankyu store is celebrating its 10th anniversary of entering the Kansai region. I wonder if Kyoto's Gyoza no Ohsho is still stronger. Gyoza Manchuria focuses on gyoza, fried rice, and noodles. The signature gyoza has a thicker skin compared to Ohsho's gyoza, with a mild filling that includes green peas. Today, I had the Manchurian ramen and gyoza set.

I have eaten at Gyoza no Manshu in Tsukamoto Station and Tamagawa among a few other locations, but Noda Hankyu, the first Kansai outlet, has now closed. It seems to be located near Noda Station. The restaurant is a bit away from the station, but it has seating on the second floor where you can relax. Gyoza no Manshu is known for having delicious noodles compared to other Chinese chain restaurants, but I found that the basic Manshu ramen with soy sauce flavor had a slightly peculiar taste in the soup compared to other vegetable-filled ramen. I haven't directly compared the gyoza, so it might be worth trying both to see the difference. However, when eaten normally, the prices, sizes, and flavors of Gyoza no Manshu do not seem significantly different from other major Chinese chain restaurants.

After stopping by the Fukushima Police Station to renew my license, I went to the Manchuria Noda Hankyu store for some gyoza. Manchuria is known for being fast, cheap, and delicious. I chose the gyoza set with egg fried with wood ear mushrooms. The wood ear mushrooms go really well with rice. I like to eat my gyoza with vinegar and pepper, but the gyoza at Manchuria is quite chewy, so it might also be good with gyoza sauce or mustard!

I always eat fried dumplings, but I was curious about trying steamed dumplings and Tianjin rice for once. The portion size is similar to Osho. The Tianjin rice here has a milder soy sauce flavor compared to Osho, which I personally prefer, but in terms of cost performance, it is delicious enough. While I prefer Osho's fried dumplings, the steamed dumplings here are more delicious than the boiled ones at Osho! The skin texture is really good when boiled! From now on, I might make steamed dumplings my main choice!

I visited this restaurant for dinner in August 2019. It is located right near Noda Station. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and welcoming, making it easy for even solo diners to feel comfortable. Despite being a chain restaurant, the prices are very affordable. I ordered the grilled dumplings for 248 yen and boiled dumplings for 194 yen, both including tax. Both the grilled and boiled dumplings were delicious. It's great to be able to enjoy dumplings at such a low price. They also offer set meals at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place.

I went around 19:30 on a regular night. The parking lot only had space for 3 cars, and it was a bit narrow. I had to wait a few minutes but luckily found a spot. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I ordered miso ramen and yamitsuki donburi (no gyoza). Just like another branch I tried before, the ramen soup tasted a bit bland. I'm not sure if it's the difference in chefs or the restaurant itself, but it was too light for my liking. However, the yamitsuki donburi was really good. It was like a combination of Chinese-style donburi and mapo tofu, and it was very delicious.

For people in Kansai, when they hear "gyoza", they tend to think of Osho, but this restaurant was a first for me. According to Wikipedia, it seems to be a chain store as well, so I decided to try the one near my company. As usual, I took a picture and was ready to dig in, but the part-time employee seemed inexperienced and ended up taking someone else's order. To make matters worse, the ramen and gyoza came out separately, causing a bit of confusion. However, the gyoza was delicious, just as expected from a place that is highly recommended. The juicy meat filling was satisfying, but I still wish they would serve them together as a set. I guess I'll have to look forward to next time.

I ordered gyoza for two and fried rice. I had been curious about this place for a while and thought it was a chain from Kansai, but it turns out it's from Saitama. The gyoza here is really good. When it arrived, I thought it was a bit heavy because it was fried with a lot of oil, but the skin and filling were delicious. The gyoza is quite large in size. The skin is firm with a crispy texture on the outside and chewy on the inside. When you bite into it, the meat juices come out, showing that it was cooked well. The vegetables in the filling are cut into large pieces, giving a nice crunch, and I enjoyed eating them with vinegar and soy sauce. Even plain gyoza is tasty. It seems to lack garlic, so the flavor punch is a bit mild. Once again, chain restaurants are great for gyoza. The taste is excellent for the price. The fried rice was also delicious. I couldn't decide between Manchurian ramen and Tianjin rice this time, so I'll try one of them next time. I will definitely order the gyoza for two again.
