When it comes to lunch at Lake Toya, this is the place to go. A famous restaurant where even locals go. Popular among visitors to Japan as well. Visited during lunchtime. Luckily, we were able to get in without waiting, but there was a long line afterwards. The interior is calm, like a cozy cafe. I ordered the 200-gram hamburger steak! The prices are a bit high, but you can eat anything from pork cutlet curry to omelette rice, and everything is highly rated so you can eat with peace of mind. The meaty and juicy hamburger steak was delicious. The rice was also tasty. I might even be able to eat a 300-gram one! Thank you for the meal!

On Monday around 11:00, the restaurant was about 80% full! I was surprised by its popularity. More customers kept coming in afterwards. By 12:00, there was a waiting line. Due to the crowd, the food took about 30 minutes to be served. The dimly lit atmosphere inside is nice, so if you order a drink and enjoy chatting, time will pass by quickly.
- Omelette Rice ¥1300: You can choose between a runny half-cooked egg or a well-cooked egg. I chose the runny one, but I wonder what the well-cooked omelette rice tastes like? The omelette was runny, with ketchup-based demi-glace sauce and topped with pickled radish. It tasted like curry suddenly. The sauce was flavorful, so when combined with the pickled radish, it felt a bit too strong.
- Scallop Macaroni Gratin ¥1400: Gratin without rice! The moment it was brought to the table, the delicious smell of cheese filled the air. Inside were scallops, macaroni, and a single chestnut. The creamy white sauce with plenty of melted cheese was irresistible!
- Hamburger Steak ¥1400: You can choose between steak and rice set. There was also a hamburger set on the menu, which was confusing. The menu was hard to read with black background and gold letters. Despite the ordering confusion, the taste was very delicious. It was made with a mix of pork and beef, very fluffy and tender. I finished it quickly with the rice.
- Coffee Jelly ¥320: Firm with a good texture, but crumbles easily. Topped with whipped cream! It was refreshing even after eating a full meal.

I waited a long time, didn't I? Coming for lunch during the Obon season was a mistake (I overslept). The chicken doria was very rich and satisfying, even for a big eater like me! The egg sandwich was also excellent, with the original homemade mayonnaise sauce being a perfect match! It was gentle and refreshing to eat! The ambiance with the lighting was lovely. When I become rich, I'll come back to try the most expensive steak!

When I arrived at the restaurant at 11 o'clock for the opening, there was already one group waiting in line. With three parking lots available, it seems to be a popular old-fashioned restaurant. Inside, there was a retro feel with plenty of sofa seats. It seemed like many people were ordering either hamburgers or pork chops. Both were very delicious! I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I've been curious about this place for a while. The website of the restaurant is well-made. I learned from the introduction that the restaurant has been in business for a long time and everything is handmade. I had the hamburger set. The demi-glace sauce was light but had a rich flavor. The hamburger was meaty yet tender and delicious. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait in line. I wrote my name on the paper provided outside and waited for about 30 minutes, but it was worth it because the food was delicious.

I had a hamburger set for lunch. I was also interested in the pork chops, but the hamburger set came on a large iron plate, piping hot. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce had a slight thickness to it, maybe they used a bit of starch. It felt like a classic old-school Western meal. Overall, it was delicious, but not particularly impressive. The cost performance seemed a bit high. The restaurant had a classic coffee shop vibe, but the tables were too close together, which was a bit of a waste of the atmosphere. It seemed like they were trying to accommodate as many customers as possible without making them wait. The place seemed a bit too busy and the building was old, so a little more cleanliness wouldn't hurt. I sat by the window, which was nice, but it was a bit dusty and not very hygienic. It was a shame that the place didn't look as picturesque as I had hoped. They should consider doing a deep clean at some point.

I stayed at this restaurant during my stay at Lake Toya. Customers kept coming in one after another and it always felt almost full. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with beautiful flowers, creating a fantastic atmosphere! And the delicious food is just as impressive! The gratin in particular was delicious! It was the best gratin I have ever had!

Ah, reminiscing about the past... When I went on a trip to Sapporo with friends in the past, I remembered a taste I had once tried. So, my wife and I visited there again after 10 years. The atmosphere was just like before, and it brought back good memories of our trip to Lake Toya. The ambiance was fantastic, and the taste was excellent. If you ever visit Lake Toya, be sure to try the hamburg steak at this restaurant!

I successfully entered a long-established Western-style restaurant that I had given up on before during Golden Week, by aiming for right after the 11 o'clock opening. The signature dish, pork chop, was indeed delicious with its proud demi-glace sauce. I also ordered hamburger and chicken rice, both of which were of high quality that justified their popularity. The diverse menu of Western dishes was a delight. #lunch #Lake Toya #Hokkaido's hidden gem #hokkaidolove #gourmet #Eno's log

I had been wanting to try this Western-style restaurant for a while. I arrived around 2 pm on Saturday, hoping to avoid the crowds, and luckily only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. I had decided in advance to try the pork chop, which arrived after about 15 minutes. However, as I ate, I found the meat to be tough and overcooked, lacking in flavor. The sauce seemed like a mix of flour and ketchup, and the rice was too soft. The soup was too salty, and I noticed dust gathering in the corners of the low ceiling. Maybe I should have ordered the hamburger instead? Or perhaps it was a mistake to come on a busy weekend? I found myself pondering these thoughts. I will give it another try on a weekday someday!

Visited on Saturday at 6pm. The cute exterior surrounded by plants. The interior had a lovely retro atmosphere with wood as the main element. The seats were only half full, probably because it was still early. I ordered the Napoli 1200 yen after seeing a review that it uses the same sauce as the pork chop. As they warned, it took about 20 minutes to be served. The Napoli arrived on a hot iron plate, steaming hot. The gentle sweetness of the sauce paired perfectly with the soft noodles. I was happy to see chunks of bacon, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions in it. Adding a few drops of Tabasco halfway through gave it an adult taste. The staff were warm and answered tourists' simple questions politely. The other menu items looked delicious too, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

While contemplating where to eat while overlooking Lake Toya, I came across this recommended restaurant. I was skeptical at first, but upon visiting, I found a charming Western-style eatery. I had the spaghetti Napolitan, while my family enjoyed the pork chop. Both dishes were delicious and tender, making for a wonderful lunch. I hope this restaurant remains for a long time to come.

I had lunch at a Western-style restaurant in Lake Toya Onsen Street and ate scallop gratin and crab fried rice. The gratin was incredibly delicious. It seems like many people order the hamburger set or pork steak for lunch. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy and relaxing.

Winter is the perfect time to eat Onion Gratin Soup, it's rich and warming, perfect for someone who has just trudged through the snow. The hamburger is big and chunky, with a sweet and tangy sauce that reminds you of a nostalgic restaurant taste. The side dishes with potatoes, spinach, and corn are also irresistible. The interior of the restaurant is elegant yet somehow whimsical, with dark wooden decor that feels like something out of a European fairytale. Just thinking about it gets me excited. It was a great lunch...

The family ordered food that was all delicious without any misses. The restaurant is Boyotei in Lake Toya, Hokkaido. They had dishes like Hokkaido beef fillet steak, hamburger steak set, Hokkai course, and Napolitan steak. The hamburger steak was so tender that they forgot this year's theme of chewing well. The pork chop with sauce, a popular dish, had a consistently delicious taste for over 10 years. The salmon in the Hokkai course was fatty and tasty, with a crispy texture from the tartar and breadcrumbs. The Napolitan steak was also delicious, with thick bacon. If you're in the Lake Toya area, it's worth a repeat visit. It seems like there may be lines outside during peak times.

On the second day of my trip to Lake Toya, I wanted to have a delicious lunch! I decided to visit a popular restaurant around 11:30 am. Even though it was crowded at that time, they had a system where they would call you when your table was ready. Very considerate! I arrived at the restaurant by 12 pm and there were many menu options to choose from. I was having a hard time deciding, but the staff recommended a dish, so I went with that. I ordered the hamburger steak and scallop macaroni gratin. The hamburger steak was delicious, with a demi-glace sauce typical of a Western-style restaurant! The scallop macaroni was also very tasty! The ingredients were of high quality. I think you can't go wrong with any dish you order here. I was very satisfied with my meal! By the way, when I was leaving the restaurant, I saw a long list of people waiting, so I recommend going early!

I had a 200g sizzling hot hamburger with plenty of sauce on a seasoned iron plate. It was easy to eat and felt like a drink, not just curry. It was unfortunate that the coffee after the meal was served to a group of customers who arrived later, but the Misuzu coffee in the demi cup was also delicious.

I happened to search for a nearby restaurant and found this highly rated place. Just standing in front of the restaurant, I felt overwhelmed by its stylishness and thought it was too fancy for me. However, being on a trip, I was feeling bold and had already budgeted for some extra spending. Summoning up my courage, I entered the restaurant and found it even more stylish inside, with a large number of waitresses and no waiters in sight, indicating a focus on service. Looking at the menu, I realized that the price to pay for such service was quite high. I couldn't escape now. I opted for the hamburger set (plate) that was relatively cheaper but not the cheapest option. I wasn't sure what made the hamburger on the plate different, but it was affordable. The waitress made sure I wanted the plate option, and I nervously nodded yes. The sauce on the hamburger seemed lighter in color, not the usual demiglace or other common sauces, tasting slightly tangy like a mild BBQ sauce. The meat was tender, flavorful, and had a hint of stewed hamburger taste, which I thought kids would enjoy. The attentive waitress quickly cleared my plate once I finished eating.

Located in a corner of Lake Toya Onsen Street. It is nestled in the back of a garden filled with vegetation. The exterior gives off a vibe of a traditional Japanese house. Upon entering the entrance and sanitizing with alcohol, I was guided to an available seat. I looked over the menu on the table. There were many Western dishes to choose from. I decided to order the "Hamburger Steak Set". Looking around, the interior of the building is unified with a wooden finish. As it is in the Lake Toya Onsen Street, there are many tourists. It arrived in about 15 minutes. The surface of the hamburger steak is glossy when the light hits it. The meat is cooked thoroughly inside. The demiglace sauce has a great flavor and pairs well with the meat. It is satisfying to have plenty of demiglace sauce. For the set drink, I chose iced tea. It has a nice aroma of black tea. The "Hamburger Steak Set" has a very rare 4:3 CRT TV on the counter.

I had planned to go to a soup curry restaurant, but it was fully booked (and the atmosphere wasn't that great). After searching, I ended up at this restaurant. The place had a cute antique-style decor with lots of famous people's signatures displayed. I was excited to try the food, and when the hot hamburger arrived, it was delicious. The light sauce made it easy to eat.
