At the end of winter vacation, I visited with my partner. As always, the scenery, service, and taste were all top-notch. Today, we were guided to a room along the river. We ordered everything recommended. We had tiger puffer sashimi, sesame mackerel, beef fillet steak, smoked cream cheese, cheese and wheat gluten tempura, tomato pork belly tempura, lotus root tempura, and finished with snow crab and salmon roe clay pot rice. Everything was delicious, especially when paired with the view. I recommend stopping by before heading out to Nakasu.

We were a party of 3 for a business dinner, and smoking is allowed in designated areas. We started with a toast of highball and enjoyed dishes such as mentaiko rolled omelette, delicious Isobe tempura of sardines, and Ainame and shiso leaf tempura. The steak made from black-haired Wagyu beef was decent. We also ordered a clay pot rice, which takes some time to prepare, so they confirm if you want it at the beginning. The variety of dishes available was impressive, like mentaiko, salmon belly, beef sukiyaki, eel, crab with salmon roe, and sea urchin with salmon roe. We wanted to order one each, but ended up with two portions of eel (looks like we'll be here for a while...). The eel was delicious, and the rice was also very tasty. The restaurant had a clean and calming atmosphere, and it was nice to enjoy drinks while overlooking the streets of Nakasu. Thank you for the meal.

The food was delicious, and the service was average. The only downside was the drinks. I ordered a sake tasting set, but instead of letting me choose from the list, they brought something completely different. And to make matters worse, all the sakes were mediocre. I wish they had confirmed the order before bringing it. Also, some seats had a less than stellar view, and the dirty window glass didn't help either.

The dining experience at Daiichi Koshin was unexpectedly good. The location was lively, with karaoke available, but the service was excellent and the staff were very polite. The early discount of 20% off was appreciated. The variety of side dishes was good, but it would have been better if each person had their own serving. The sashimi had a good balance of fat, and the anglerfish and taro tempura was delicious. The pork steak was also very tasty. The spicy cod roe hot pot rice was a highlight. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and worth around 5000 yen, especially with the early discount.

I made a same-day reservation and when the elevator doors opened, I could see water cascading down the walls, which got me excited. The staff were all very polite. The Caesar salad had onions and bell peppers that had been lightly cooked, bringing out the sweetness of the vegetables and making it delicious. The chicken in the sukiyaki pot was made with tender chicken from Saga, and it was satisfying. There were various dessert options to choose from, which made it hard to decide! The atmosphere was very stylish, so it seems like a great place for a date!

I was able to relax very slowly because of the private rooms. It was good that it was a non-smoking area. The food and drinks were very delicious, and the prices were reasonable, so I want to use this restaurant many times. The staff were all kind and very good.

I went with two friends! It was on the 6th floor of a building along the river in Nishi Chuo. We had a course meal, and every dish was delicious without any misses. It was nice to have private rooms where we could relax! The view was great and the food was satisfying. The only thing that bothered me was that when leaving the room, the atmosphere was very simple and stylish, but there were no markers on the doors or anything, so it was hard to tell where to go. It would be nice to have some kind of marker in my opinion ^^;

This shop is part of the Daikoshokai Group, famous for its DAM karaoke chain. They recommend healthy deep-fried skewers and tempura as they use cooking utensils that minimize oil absorption called "dryfree". I ordered a tempura assortment and a rare matcha draft beer! I was worried that the bitterness of matcha and beer would clash, but it was a good balance of bitterness and flavor. The tempura came with three types of salt, which was quite nice. It's a good place for snacking while drinking.

The loud voices from the next table were quite noticeable though. One of the young colleagues had been transferred to Kanto from October 1st, so it was a farewell party as well. We opted for an a la carte menu with a focus on Japanese sake. We had three different types of sake, and I wonder how many times we had refills. The appetizers included crab miso, white motsu with ponzu sauce, three types of horse sashimi, beef tongue, rolled omelette with dashi, and assorted pickles. The horse sashimi came with mane attached, and the meat quality was decent. The crab miso and white motsu went really well with the sake. The beef tongue was requested by the colleague who was transferring, and since others didn't eat it, we were allowed to finish both servings. Overall, the food was okay but good enough to accompany the drinks. With a nice view and suitable for accompanying guests, I recommend it to you. Now, where should we go next?

Located about a 3-minute walk from Nakasu Kawabata Station, this stylish and quiet restaurant offers exciting and delicious dishes. My personal favorite was the Wagyu White Motsu Ponzu for 900 yen... it was amazing! Despite being motsu (offal), it was light, melt-in-your-mouth, and easy to eat. I would love to visit again when I want to treat myself.
