I think it's a delicious udon shop that is open late at night. I ordered the meat and scallion udon, which had a unique sweetness typical of Kansai cuisine and was very tasty. They also have a small menu and the prices are reasonable. It seems like they also offer delivery, so I think it's a well-loved shop.

At the end of drinking, I went to this restaurant! It was very light and delicious! The broth was very clear and perfect for the end of drinking. I didn't feel heavy the next day, it was great! The location is also convenient, close to the station and taxi stand.

On August 3, 2023 (Thursday) around 10:20 pm, I had meat and scallion udon noodles. Seriously? I'm so happy! Having udon late at night! And it's meat and scallion udon! It's going straight into my regular rotation. Meat and scallion udon. This is delicious! Oh, the broth is so flavorful... It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Osaka is really good for udon. The broth is sweet and delicious. I don't need the firm texture like Sanuki udon. It's strange that katsu udon hasn't become a nationwide dish. I thought it was a commoner's food, but the prices at the restaurants here are a bit high due to the location.

The final dish at Kitashinchi is Osaka's famous katsu udon! My friend recommended it to me so I came to try the udon as the finishing touch. As a curry udon lover, I ordered the "curry katsu udon". Why is the curry udon at night so delicious? It's so tasty that it makes me want to dive into a bowl of white rice! I also heard that the chicken tempura is recommended, so the three of us shared it. The chicken tempura was crispy and juicy, super delicious! I will definitely come back to eat here again! (・∀・)

On Saturday at 18:30, I went to "Kazuya" in Kitashinchi. I saw a special on TV about katsu udon recently and it made me want to eat it again. So I ordered the most popular dish, "Niku Katsu Udon (1,260 yen)". It arrived in 5 minutes. I took a bite. Delicious. The sweetness and umami of the beef and oil katsu melt into the light broth, creating an exquisite flavor. The sweetness of this broth is addicting. The beef and oil katsu are plentiful, satisfying to eat. The udon noodles have a nice chewy texture, not too soft like Osaka-style udon. It's a simple dish, but somehow has a high-class feel to it. Maybe being in Kitashinchi adds to the atmosphere. I managed to finish every last drop of the broth. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing work, I came to Kitashinchi, but the izakaya with a good reputation was already closed around 10:10 pm. It seems like it's difficult to find night specialty shops open at this time. I walked towards JR Kitashinchi station and found a place that caught my eye. It was a place serving "katsu udon," which is apparently a famous dish in Osaka. I wasn't familiar with it until recently, but the prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the location. I went in and ordered the most popular dish, the meat katsu udon. It was served in about 3 minutes, and the broth was flavorful and delicious. The udon noodles were soft and easy to eat, typical of Osaka style. The meat was decent, but I couldn't really tell which part was the "horumon" (offal) as it was supposed to contain. I paid 1260 yen with a card and left.

I went to eat katsu udon. The photo shows a large amount of green onions on top because I ordered extra. The menu seemed more like an izakaya than a katsu udon restaurant, with a strong focus on drinking. It's perfect after drinking, but a bit salty when sober. However, the Kansai-style broth and oil katsu add a delicious flavor. I sat at the counter and couldn't help but notice the Kenbishi sake in front of me. Definitely a good choice for oden! A beloved katsu udon restaurant in Kitashinchi. I visited late at night and ordered their specialty curry version of katsu udon and mentaiko rice. The katsu (beef offal) on the udon was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and fragrant. The rich soup broth was incredibly delicious, I finished every last drop even though it was curry katsu udon. The mentaiko rice was also delicious. They are particular about their udon, ingredients, and broth. It was a bowl filled with their dedication. It was a truly blissful moment. Enjoying the atmosphere and savoring the food. This is definitely one of the satisfying restaurants. I don't think any further explanation is needed. Just come and taste it for yourself.

The must-try dish in Osaka is katsu udon! A famous place is Katsuya, as seen on the TV show Kenmin Show. You can easily walk from Osaka Umeda Station to the Kitashinchi branch in just 15 minutes. This branch is open until late at night, so it's perfect for a late meal. The interior of this branch is quite elegant compared to others. The meat katsu udon costs around 1200 yen, but it's worth it. The broth is very comforting, especially after a night of drinking. The portion is a bit large, but you can slurp it all up easily. This is definitely a must-try!

Located a 5.6-minute walk from Kitashinchi, this udon restaurant with a rating of 3.38 on Tabelog is open until dawn, typical of Kitashinchi. It is in the same building as the delicious soba restaurant "Sokiri". The atmosphere inside is calm and reminiscent of Kitashinchi. I ordered the "katsu udon" for 930 yen and the "onigiri (shiso)" for 180 yen. At first glance, it looks simple, but upon closer inspection, you can see plenty of oil floating on the surface, making it quite oily. The flavor is subtle with both the broth and soy sauce being understated. The toppings consist of only green onions and a little bit of shredded seaweed, but the "katsu" has no unpleasant odor and stands out with its richness and sweetness, making it quite delicious. It is a type of udon that asserts itself firmly within its gentleness. The udon noodles themselves are plain without any distinctive features, but they harmonize well with the broth. Late-night craving for Katsu Udon... Found a place called Kasuya that's open until 4 am. It's been a while since I've had Katsu Udon, and the warmth of it was so comforting that I almost finished the broth by 3 am. The Potato Salad was loaded with eggs, almost like it was made with a different kind of egg. I want to eat it again today, Kasu Udon.

The richness of the oil kasu seeping into the udon broth... just the right amount of chewiness. The aroma of wheat in the noodles... the calm atmosphere inside the restaurant... seriously addictive. I visited a restaurant in Kitashinchi, Osaka for a solo lunch on a weekday. I ordered the Beef Tendon Stew Bowl Set for 900 yen (tax included) and added Chikuwa Tempura for 100 yen (tax included) from the limited lunch menu. It was served in about 7 minutes. The set included mini katsu udon and pickles. It was delicious!! The flavor of the beef tendons was brought out so well. The portion size was also satisfying. I added Chikuwa Tempura to the mini katsu udon. The freshly fried Chikuwa Tempura was good, but the highlight was the delicious soup of the katsu udon. It is highly recommended! The oily and sweet soup was amazing. I really enjoyed it. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
