I had two meals, breakfast and dinner, at this restaurant. There were so many dishes to choose from! And they were all delicious and refined in taste. What surprised me the most was that I didn't feel bloated even after eating a lot. I think it's because they use good quality ingredients and don't overuse seasonings like many buffet restaurants do. I was worried if I would get bored on the second day, but they had different menus from yesterday, so I could enjoy without hesitation. The staff in charge of the table area was a foreigner, but they were very attentive and provided service at the perfect timing. The tables were spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal leisurely.

I stayed overnight in Shiretoko during my trip to Hokkaido. The room was clean and the service was excellent. This hotel is definitely not cheap! One thing that was a bit of a hassle was that there were two different rooms for the breakfast and dinner buffets, and the menus were different, so it was inconvenient to move between them. Unlike the cheaper hotel I stayed at the day before, they didn't bring beer to the table. It's an extra charge, so I was a little disappointed. Maybe it's because there were a lot of guests. In the fall, I want to take my elderly mother to Shiretoko. We might stay at this hotel, but we probably won't have breakfast and dinner there. I don't think my mother can handle that buffet. The food itself is delicious, and I would recommend this hotel to younger people.

I stayed at Prince Hotel Furunamiki for one night with two meals included on October 8, 2022 (Saturday). It had been a few years since I last stayed with my parents. The hot springs unfortunately were filtered and heated, but there wasn't much of a chlorine smell and there were lukewarm baths available, so my youngest son and I were able to enjoy the hot springs. The dinner Tree-side buffet was amazing. There were two large dining rooms with a wide corridor in between, each offering a variety of different dishes and desserts. It was overwhelming with so many options that it was difficult to try everything. And everything was delicious. The standout dishes for me were the fresh spring rolls, raclette, blueberry cheese dessert, and baked cheesecake. We also enjoyed a plentiful breakfast buffet in the morning. It was a food lover's paradise at this Shiretoko accommodation~

In Shiretoko, after driving on unpaved roads for almost 4 hours, the tiredness fades away. I only picked my favorite items, so looking back, I realize there are few vegetables. The taste is truly delicious, and even though I don't usually drink milk, I end up drinking it. The omelette with truffle sauce in the morning was delicious, and I think I would have had seconds if my stomach had allowed it.

Hokkaido, Shiretoko, Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal, 15 minutes walk from KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort, located at 192 Kagawa, Shari-cho, Shari-gun, Hokkaido. A hotel where I stayed for 2 days during my trip to Abashiri and Shiretoko. The buffet breakfast and dinner are famous, and I indulged in them for 2 days. The buffet had a wide variety of options, and they even served cheese and grilled meat right in front of you. There is also a Child Zone that kids will love. The natural-themed rooms and hot springs were wonderful. Grateful to my best friend who selected and booked this place for us.

I had a sudden long weekend off, so I decided to go to Shiretoko, a place I've always wanted to visit. The beauty of nature there is truly amazing as expected of a World Heritage Site! It was worth the long journey, and I was captivated by the stunning scenery. I stayed at a hotel located just a few minutes from the Sunset Point, where you can see the sun setting over the Sea of Okhotsk. The hotel has a cute Nordic-style interior that is very popular among women, as it was rebranded a few years ago from a traditional Japanese inn. Although the exterior may look old-fashioned, the interior is beautiful and comfortable! After watching the sunset at Sunset Point, I returned to my room where I could enjoy the magic hour. The buffet at the hotel was also fantastic, using plenty of local Hokkaido ingredients and carefully prepared dishes that were all delicious. The variety of dishes, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, was so abundant that I felt like I could eat endlessly, which was both amazing and a bit scary! The highlight was the live kitchen's desserts, which were also top-notch and satisfying. If only it were closer, I would definitely visit again. Shiretoko itself is a truly wonderful place, so I hope to visit again someday! ^ ^

The staff's service was outstanding. The raclette cheese was incredibly delicious, and I kept going back for more. The shabu-shabu was also tasty. The steak was tender and flavorful. The buffet offered a good variety of dishes that both kids and adults could enjoy. It's no wonder it's a hotel in the Hokkaido region. ✨

I stayed at a hotel known for its dinner buffet, but the dinner was disappointing, so on the second day I came to "Kiki". The food is so delicious! The presentation is also cute - the small containers are a hit with women! Above all, all the staff are very friendly and I was surprised.

On the first day of our Shiretoko and Eastern Hokkaido trip, we stayed at "KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort". The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Recently, due to the impact of the new coronavirus, there has been an increase in hotels offering set meal style breakfasts, but this one was buffet style. The restaurant, which also serves dinner, was spacious and clean. The distance between tables was also wide, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. As for the food, there was a cooking station in the middle of the restaurant where they made omelets to order. I had a bacon and cheese omelet, which was delicious when freshly made. The vegetables were fresh, and there were also menu items unique to Hokkaido's local produce. I chose various dishes based on my favorite "kamaage shirasu" (boiled whitebait) and "tororo" (grated yam). Among them, the "rolled cabbage" cooked in milk with mushrooms was particularly delicious. Overall, it was a high-quality breakfast. Of course, we wore masks and gloves at the buffet, and items like vichyssoise and dressings were in bottles, ensuring sufficient measures against the coronavirus. I may have overindulged a bit. Now, it's time to check out and start our journey on the second day. The bill came to an additional 1,160 yen for the bed and breakfast package. Thank you for the meal!

The buffet at the hotel in Utoro, which serves as the base for Shiretoko sightseeing, is reminiscent of the family trips of the Showa era where children would be delighted. This style is still popular today at places like Hotel Mikazuki in Chiba and New Hatoya in Izu, known for their hot spring buffets that children love. In the case of KIKI Shiretoko, the age group is higher, and the venue has been updated to a more modern, woody atmosphere with live kitchen entertainment. From a gourmet perspective, the steak is made from processed meat, but a variety of dishes blending Japanese and Western cuisine are made using Hokkaido ingredients as much as possible, appealing even to older guests. However, it may not be suitable for those looking for a gourmet experience.

This is the breakfast section of the review for KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort. Breakfast is also served in a buffet style, just like dinner, at the "Tree-side Buffet". There is a lively atmosphere with a live kitchen where you can enjoy your meal. For the New Year, traditional Osechi dishes are available, such as shrimp, burdock rolls, grilled yellowtail, datemaki, kazunoko, simmered dishes, and datemaki. There was a long line at the live kitchen for the salmon and ikura omelette, which was served with a choice of three sauces. I chose the cheese sauce and it was delicious. Before checking out, I went to the parking lot to prepare for departure by clearing the ice on the windows and snow on the roof. However, all the car windows of the guests had already been wiped clean, making it easy for us to depart without having to defrost the front glass. This is a very helpful service, especially in snowy areas. KAWAJIRI 192, Utoro, Shari-cho, Shari-gun, Hokkaido.

Shiretoko came to Utoro Onsen. Tonight's accommodation is KIKI Shiretoko Natural Resort, a hotel and resort group owned by Hokkaido Kubushi Hotel & Resort Group. The parking lot is full of cars with Eastern Hokkaido license plates. Inside the building, there are lively children gathering with their families to spend New Year's. Kids will be delighted to find various features such as the "Play Forest" kids' space supervised by PONERUNDO. The hotel seems to be very entertaining with events such as magic shows by magicians, balloon shows by street performers, and mochi throwing. Dinner is at the "Tree Side Buffet" buffet restaurant. Unlike a typical buffet where dishes are simply lined up, live kitchens are set up throughout where hotel staff prepare dishes on the spot. The buffet area is large with a wide variety of dishes lined up evenly, making it a highly entertaining restaurant. The dishes feature plenty of Hokkaido specialties and local products, offering high-quality cuisine regardless of the buffet setting. Cheers with Sapporo Classic. The New Year's event includes a "Tuna Cutting Show" where tuna is served. This is the fatty tuna part. All-you-can-eat otoro and chutoro is amazing. This is the lean tuna part. It's tender and delicious. Here is a cold soup of sweet shrimp from Mashike and tofu. The soup has a fragrant shrimp aroma. This is whale yukhoe. Enjoy it with garlic. It's delicious without the distinctive taste of whale. The staff is grilling raw lamb. It's mostly rare and delicious. There are various sauces available, but try it with your favorite garlic sauce. This is Flower Field Ranch's raclette cheese. Hotel staff melts raclette cheese in a raclette cheese heater and pours it over steamed potatoes. This kind of performance is exciting. This is grilled shishamo from Hokkaido. It's not the capelin you usually eat. It's a valuable real shishamo that can only be caught in a part of the southern Pacific side of Hokkaido. It is famous for being caught in Mukawa and Hiroo. The eggs burst in your mouth as you take a bite. This is butter-grilled scallop. The scallop grilled with butter is rich in flavor. This is Ezoshika lasagna. The mild Ezoshika deer blends well in the lasagna. This is Ezoshika paella. The seafood flavor is well absorbed by the rice. This is Shiretoko ajillo. It's fun to eat while warming up olive oil with oysters, shrimp, and clams on a burner. Finally, the seafood bowl with chutoro and salmon roe is a must-have. It was an exciting buffet surrounded by favorite ingredients. Shari-cho, Shari-gun, Shari-cho, Utoro Kagawa 192

This hotel offers buffet-style dinners and breakfasts. They use local ingredients such as meat, fish, and vegetables from Hokkaido, and the dishes are creatively prepared. There were many dishes with names I had never heard of before, so I enjoyed trying a little bit of everything for both dinner and breakfast, ending up with two or more plates each time. The buffet was enjoyable and I ended up feeling very full.

I have posted plenty of photos, but please consider them as a reference. I went on a trip to Shiretoko with my wife during the summer vacation. The accommodation in Shiretoko was chosen by my wife, but we made the final selection together and chose this place. The hotel is 400 km by car from Sapporo. It's far (laughs). We visited while taking breaks and sightseeing along the way. Our room had a view of the sunset in the evening, so we arrived at the hotel in the evening, enjoyed the sunset while drinking beer. The room was like a Japanese-Western style, with a bedroom in the front and a Japanese-style room in the back. The hotel itself has been newly renovated. I have stayed at other hotels in Shiretoko for work, but I had not visited this one before. I had a good impression, including the check-in process. Despite the appearance, the interior is nice ('ω'). For meals, both dinner and breakfast were buffet style. The venue is spacious, lively, and has many homemade dishes on display. There are many local Shiretoko ingredients used in the dishes. The taste is well thought out, and it's quite enjoyable to walk around the buffet corner. There are also plenty of made-to-order menu items, which are really fun to order. The overall taste is above average. It's quite a challenge to maintain such a level with this many menu items. I can feel the tremendous effort they put into it. After meals, we enjoyed the hot springs and relaxed in the theater lounge to learn more about Shiretoko. The breakfast buffet the next morning also had a Shiretoko concept and was enjoyable like the dinner the day before. It was a bit pricey as it was the high season, but I felt the quality was worth the price. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I'm already thinking about spending my summer vacation in Shiretoko again next year in 2020. Thank you for the delicious and enjoyable experience.

It was a very fulfilling buffet experience! For breakfast on the day of check-out, I enjoyed admiring THE Hokkaido hotel sign (lol). They had freshly made cheese omelets with ikura and uni cream sauce, appetizing rice, soy milk potato potage, a variety of luxurious jams for toast, apple crumble, and yogurt with honey. They also had a new salmon cheese hot sandwich corner instead of the fresh pasta corner from the previous day. The hot sandwich was also really good. I was so happy enjoying everything Hokkaido had to offer! ♥

We stayed for 2 nights on a family trip. The dinner buffet was crowded both nights, so busy that I don't remember what I ate (lol). The breakfast buffet was nice and relaxing as we had plenty of time. The highly recommended dish, "Salmon Onion Cheese Omelette with Salmon Roe and Uni Cream Sauce," was even more delicious than expected ♥ I also really liked the "honey." I love having yogurt with chia seeds, strawberry jam, and honey. The honey had a rich flavor and was delicious. And of course, who doesn't love milk!? (lol) I would like to try the dinner buffet here at a more leisurely pace.

When I went on a trip to Shiretoko, I stayed at KIKI Shiretoko. The plan did not include a traditional multi-course meal, only a buffet. I was a bit worried since I don't usually eat at buffets, but it seems that buffets these days have high quality. There were many live cooking stations, all offering delicious dishes with a wide variety of options. I was very satisfied. Location/Exterior: KIKI Shiretoko is located on a slightly elevated area. Most guests seemed to arrive by car, but I walked from the Shiretoko Bus Terminal. It is within walking distance. Interior/Crowd: It seems like the hotel has been recently renovated. It was very clean and had a sense of cleanliness. Inside, there were areas to watch Shiretoko's nature through projectors, hammock experiences, and souvenir shops, making it an enjoyable space to stay in. For the dining area, it's better to go early in the evening. Seats are assigned, so you can't choose, but it seemed crowded if you go too late. Food/Taste: Everything was really delicious. The buffet included seafood bowls, which are now not so rare. It's a common thing in Hokkaido, so I wasn't particularly surprised, but it was consistently delicious. The raclette cheese was especially tasty. They scrape the cheese right in front of you. I lined up for it twice because it was a buffet. The cold sweet shrimp soup was also delicious. There were many dishes using Hokkaido's unique ingredients like venison sashimi and tsubugai. Even for those who don't usually use buffets, I highly recommend staying here. The facilities and rooms are new and clean, so it's recommended.

Located about a 15-minute walk from Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal in Shari-cho, Shari-gun, Hokkaido. Formerly known as Shiretoko Prince Hotel. Visited during the peak season. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel. At that time, there was a significant increase in foreign tourists, creating a bustling atmosphere. The location offers an abundance of seafood such as crab, salmon, and salmon roe, which are delicious but tended to run out quickly, making replenishment challenging. If staying overnight, it is recommended to choose the Utoro side over the Rausu side for various reasons.

During a trip to Shiretoko, we stayed at a hotel on my husband's birthday. I contacted the hotel in advance to keep it a surprise. Some hotels offer special celebration plans with champagne and birthday cakes, but this one did not. Instead, they upgraded our room to a larger one when I asked for a slightly luxurious dinner. We were guided to a private dining area where we enjoyed a delicious meal. The sashimi platter was amazing, especially the herring sashimi which I tried for the first time. The teppanyaki grilled shrimp, scallops, and crab, along with my favorite asparagus and mushrooms, were all so fresh and tasty that they could be eaten raw. The simmered dishes were also excellent, but I was already full. For the finale, we were offered ikura don or gunkan-maki, but I couldn't manage any more. Even the soba soup was unexpectedly delicious. The uni was also amazing. I had never experienced such fresh and tasty food before, so thank you, Hokkaido! I definitely want to visit again.

I stayed at this hotel and had dinner at the buffet. I am not a fan of raw seafood, so I was worried that there might not be anything for me to eat at a seafood buffet. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of ingredients and cooking styles that cater to all tastes. The staff were efficient and polite. Alcohol is not included in the buffet price, so you show your key to order at the counter. I tried beer, sparkling wine, red wine, and white wine, and they were all delicious. This buffet is designed for people of all ages to enjoy. The dessert selection was also great. I would definitely visit this buffet again.
