I came here for the first time because it's famous! I've always wanted to eat at Nagano Jin-Giskan, and when I think of Nagano Jin-Giskan, I think of Mr. Kanehiro. I visited around 1 pm on the second day of the three-day weekend. Luckily, there was a seat available, so I was able to enter smoothly! However, it seemed busy inside, making it difficult to place an order. It was very crowded! Shortly after ordering, vegetables and meat for two people arrived together! Since I wasn't given any specific instructions on how to cook it, I just grilled it all at once! The meat was tender and very delicious! The pumpkin dumplings didn't have much flavor, though. I wonder if that's how they're supposed to be. I quickly finished eating everything.

"I had heard of the restaurant Kanehiro for a long time, but it was my first time visiting. I saw it featured on TV recently, so I decided to stop by for lunch during a drive. It was a holiday lunchtime, and as expected, it was crowded since it had been on TV. We were able to be seated without waiting, but there were many customers coming in later, so the effect of TV is huge. The menu mainly features Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), but they also have curry, soba, udon, and ramen. Of course, we had to go for the Genghis Khan! We ordered the "Roast Set @1,850 yen (large portion)" and the "Lamb Set @1,700 yen (large portion)". I actually wanted to order the special lamb set in a large portion, but they told me in a somewhat blunt manner, "We cannot do a large portion for the special lamb!" so I gave up on that... (bitter smile) We sipped on non-alcoholic drinks while waiting, and the food was served in about 10 minutes. We quickly grilled and tried the meat ourselves, and it tasted familiar and delicious, with no complaints. Both were tender and had no strong flavors, making it easy to eat with white rice. Even though it was a large portion, the amount wasn't that much, so we quickly finished our meal and it was delicious! I eat Genghis Khan at home too, but cooking and eating it on a hot plate or frying pan is different from grilling it on a Genghis Khan pot, which is the best! I'm glad to be a Hokkaido resident where I can eat such delicious Genghis Khan nearby. It was a delicious meal, thank you!"

Last week, I went to the restaurant recommended by a taxi driver. I ordered the special lamb set meal with mutton, and chose half rice. Both the lamb and mutton were delicious. Since there were few vegetables, I ordered an extra serving. Placing the meat on top of the vegetables while grilling helped keep the meat tender and tasty. Finally, I had a soft serve ice cream, which was also delicious with its unique yellowish color. It was a fantastic meal. Thank you!

The destination of the day was "Minamihoro Town". It was a stroll through the town. I wanted to have Genghis Khan in Minamihoro Town, but I couldn't find a good restaurant, so I decided to move to Nagano. It was lunchtime and I was able to enter the restaurant smoothly. There were already a few customers inside. I ordered the Lamb Set Meal (1250 yen) from "Kanehiro's Genghis Khan Set Meal". I was unsure about the amount of meat, and when I asked, the staff said, "One serving is 150 grams. It's on the larger side compared to other restaurants around here." I ordered two Lamb Set Meals, with one having extra meat. The amount of meat was just right. The Lamb Set Meal was really delicious. I thought to myself that Kanehiro's Genghis Khan is really tasty. The yellow item was a pumpkin dumpling. I was very satisfied and unusually said, "Let's come here again!" I wonder how different regular lamb and special lamb are. I want to try it, but I might not be able to tell the difference even if I eat it...haha.Visited in March 2023.

The nostalgic and cozy atmosphere of the countryside restaurant is amazing! The Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) was delicious! We ordered a lamb set meal, a mutton set meal with extra meat, a premium lamb serving for one, udon noodles, and medium rice. We ended up ordering too much, but we managed to finish it all. ( *´▽`*)

After returning from a hot spring a while ago, I had dinner here! I've known about this place for a while, but it was my first visit! It's unrelated to the shops in the Beautiful Hill area, right? They have ramen, soba, udon, curry, and the spacious interior feels like a company cafeteria, quite different from the luxurious atmosphere of Kanehiro in Beautiful Hill (lol). I ordered the lamb set meal (1250 yen) and the mutton set meal (1150 yen), each comes with rice, vegetables, and miso soup. When asked, "What size rice would you like?" I thought all sizes were the same price, but it turns out small and medium were the same price, while large was an additional 50 yen! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ So, I ordered two mediums instead of a small and a large, but that was my misunderstanding! (Am I to blame for misunderstanding?) Everything was brought out in about 5 minutes. The lamb was tender and delicious ＼(^_^)／ and the mutton had a rich lamb flavor and was delicious ＼(^_^)／. As always, Kanehiro Genghis Khan is delicious no matter when you eat it. The miso soup with daikon and green onions was surprisingly light! It was so thin that I suspected they added water to it to make it stretch further. The rice was soft, which wasn't my preference (´- `*). I was happy to see grilled vegetables and pumpkin dumplings. They started cleaning up at the edge of the restaurant, so I hurried to finish eating and left quickly. Thank you, Restaurant Kanehiro!

I visited Nagano for the first time. Nagano seems to be a town known for its Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and vegetables. The vegetables and melons at the Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) were cheap! There are various Genghis Khan restaurants, but I decided to try this one that locals often visit. I chose lamb, mutton, hormone (offal), and pork throat. The lamb and mutton were not gamey and tasted light. I wish I could have had a classic drink if I wasn't driving.

On the way to a day trip hot spring, my husband surprisingly said he wanted to eat Jingisukan at Kanehiro's for lunch. We were seated in a sunken kotatsu-style table and carefully considered the menu. I thought they only served yakiniku, but they also had set meals, curry, ramen, soba, udon, and more. During weekday lunch hours, they offer service prices under 1000 yen. We ordered the pork loin set and lamb set, each for 1250 yen, which came with rice, miso soup, and pickles. The vegetables included onions, bean sprouts, and pumpkin dumplings. The bean sprouts kept falling off the plate, which was a bit disappointing. The Jingisukan grill was a low pyramid shape with a grooved iron plate on top and grooves on the bottom. We used the guard to keep the vegetables in place on the top. Both the pork loin and lamb were tender and delicious. The miso soup had a strange taste, but the Jingisukan was good. Thank you for the meal.

Around 12:30 on a regular day, it was very crowded and there was only one waitress who seemed to be struggling. I managed to find a seat, placed my order, and waited for about 30 minutes for my Genghis Khan fried chicken set to arrive. The fried chicken portion was small and I was a bit disappointed. It was tasty but not enough. I wanted to try the La France soft serve ice cream but they only had vanilla, so I settled for a vanilla waffle cone. The soft serve was delicious! Overall, I left feeling satisfied but I'll have to come at a less busy time next time.

Kanehiro Jingisukan in Nagano is famous for its delicious lamb barbecue. In addition to jingisukan, they also offer a variety of other dishes on their menu. Kanehiro Jingisukan is one of my favorite places to enjoy jingisukan, alongside Matsuo in Takikawa and Ohata in Shin-Totsukawa. I was born in Asahikawa, where jingisukan with sauce is a popular dish, so I prefer the sauce version over the non-sauce one. In the past, jingisukan was mainly made with mutton, so I sometimes feel like the current lamb meat is not enough. I ordered the mutton set meal, while my companion ordered the pork set meal. We shared the meat while enjoying it with the sauce. Although it's already jingisukan with sauce, adding extra sauce while eating is part of the jingisukan culture. And of course, rice is a must with jingisukan (extra-large serving). In the past, we used to cook jingisukan at home, filling the house with smoke, but with the current housing situation, it has become more difficult. That's why I'm grateful for places like Kanehiro's restaurant. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Jingisukan is definitely a favorite among Hokkaido locals.

After golf, we went to this place for dinner. It was my first time trying Genghis Khan in Hokkaido. The teppanyaki style was unique. When the four of us ordered the same lamb, it all arrived together which made it a bit awkward to divide. Adding sauce to the already seasoned meat made it even more delicious. We made a mistake in grilling the vegetables. I was the designated driver, so I had a non-alcoholic drink which was also great.

Located along National Route 274 in Nagano Town, there is a Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant called "Kanehiro" which is famous in Nagano. I visited for lunch and tried their Genghis Khan. The restaurant has a retro atmosphere with table seats and sunken kotatsu-style seating. As it was lunchtime, all seats except for the sunken ones were full. The Genghis Khan set meal seemed popular, but they also offer a variety of menu items such as noodles and curry. This time, I ordered the "Roast Set Meal (1,100 yen)", "Lamb Set Meal (1,100 yen)", and a single serving of "Mutton (660 yen)" to compare the three types of meat. The set meals come with vegetables, rice, and miso soup. The meat was all marinated in sauce and very tender. Each type of meat had little of the characteristic smell of lamb and was delicious, but personally, I found the "Roast" to be the most delicious. The unique Genghis Khan pot (?) had a coating that prevented it from burning, allowing us to enjoy the meal without any burnt parts. The prices were reasonable, making it a good place to enjoy Genghis Khan without breaking the bank.

I went to Nagano in search of a place without people. I ate authentic Genghis Khan at a traditional Genghis Khan restaurant, served with white rice. I tried lamb, loin, and mutton, but the lamb was the most delicious. I enjoyed Nagano Genghis Khan overall.

For lunch, I had Genghis Khan lamb and hormone. Come to think of it, it was my first time trying sheep's hormone. Of course, lamb has organs too! It had a unique smell, but it was delicious ♡ You can choose from several parts for lunch, so you can eat your favorite, which is nice.

When I was driving around aimlessly, I ended up in Nagayama, so I had no choice but to eat Genghis Khan. When you come to Nagayama, you have to visit the yakiniku restaurant, right? So I decided to drop by Hiro-san's place. It was quite busy around lunchtime, with the staff working hard. I ordered the pork set meal, the lamb set meal (with extra meat), grape soda, and apple juice. The meat portions were quite generous and I left feeling full. This is a restaurant review for Kanehiro Jingisukan in Nagano Town. We visited this restaurant with our family after returning from the town's municipal ski resort. We ordered a single portion of Jingisukan with lamb and mutton, along with a large serving of rice. In addition, we shared a half serving of curry, a half serving of miso ramen, and an item called "imocchi" among the three of us. It had been a while since we last had Jingisukan at Kanehiro. Lately, we have been eating a lot of raw lamb and mutton, so it was a nice change to have seasoned Jingisukan again. The sweet and salty seasoning was delicious. Personally, I prefer the taste of mutton as it is more flavorful. I wasn't expecting much from the curry, but it had a rich flavor with a decent amount of spices, pleasantly surprising me. The miso ramen had stir-fried vegetables and yellow medium-thick curly noodles in Sapporo style, with a unique touch of red miso. It was a safe and tasty choice for ramen. With a variety of delicious options like Jingisukan, curry, and ramen, this restaurant is perfect for families. Thank you for the meal!

In 2019/5, what faction is the Genghis Khan in? Depending on the region, there are different factions, right? Are people from the central part of Hokkaido in the Kanehiro faction or the Matsuo faction? As someone from the foot of Mount Yotei, I feel like I was in the Matsuo faction. I remember buying it at a directly managed store. When I was a child, the bubble burst... and cheap supermarket meat with a strong smell started appearing on our dining table, making me dislike lamb (>_<). Recently, I have overcome that (*´∀`). Along the national highway in Nagayama, there is a restaurant here, I thought it was a butcher shop. I don't need rice, so I ordered the following items separately: - Lamb loin: 700 yen - Lamb: 700 yen - Assorted vegetables A: 300 yen And, beer ( ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ Both draft and bottled beer are the same price at 550 yen, but the bottled beer has more volume, so I chose the bottled beer. The meat is well-seasoned and tender, and the dipping sauce also has a strong flavor. Both are delicious, but I prefer the lean loin without fat. The vegetables included bean sprouts, Chinese cabbage, onions, leeks, and sticky rice cakes. The sticky rice cakes were not chewy as expected, but everything was delicious ♡ Thank you for the meal (^ω^)

⭐LP⭐ On the way back from visiting various towns and villages, we stumbled upon a restaurant called Kanehiro. To be honest, LP was not familiar with Kanehiro, but KG mentioned that they are quite famous for their Genghis Khan (grilled lamb dish). So, we decided to get some meat for dinner. We bought 500g each of mutton and mutton loin. When we got home, we grilled the meat with some vegetables. Both were tender with a mild flavor, making them easier to eat compared to a certain famous Genghis Khan restaurant. The meat was thick but not too thick, making it easy to enjoy. Before we knew it, the two of us had finished 1kg of meat in no time. The restaurant is located in a somewhat remote area, so it may be difficult to dine in, but the takeout option is definitely enjoyable. If you happen to pass by, be sure to give it a try!
