We absolutely decided on having Mizutaki! Both my wife and I were determined. When we tried to make a reservation at the first place we saw in a book, it was fully booked. So we called the next place, which turned out to be this restaurant. First, the phone service was excellent! Even though we couldn't see their faces, we could imagine them smiling while talking. Then, when we arrived 15 minutes early, they seated us right away. Despite having two children, we felt very at ease, and the restaurant had a comforting atmosphere for families. The Mizutaki exceeded our expectations in taste. We have tried many different places, but this was truly impressive. The soup they served first was amazing - with green onions, salt, and the soup itself. It was so delicious! Even our children were delighted. Every dish that followed was also excellent. But what really stood out was the customer service at this restaurant. The delicious food was made even better by the exceptional service. They were friendly and easy to talk to, even engaging with our children. All the staff had warm smiles. I can't help but regret not having a restaurant like this closer to home. In short, it was a long time since I had come across such a wonderful restaurant. I was impressed by everything. Thank you for the wonderful meal. When I visit Fukuoka again, I will definitely come back. This is a restaurant that I will never forget!

This is a chicken hot pot restaurant run by Torizen along Kokutai Street. On this day, I had a great time with friends who gather once a month. The first small dish was a platter of chicken sashimi, which can only be enjoyed with fresh chicken. I had it with yuzu pepper. After enjoying the fried chicken, it was time for the hot pot. While enjoying the soup, delicious chicken meat was cooked. After taking out the soup, we added minced meat, heart, liver, boneless meat, and vegetables. Finally, we added champon noodles to finish the meal.

Visited Hakata Hanamidori with my family. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm. I had the Hakata set meal, which included chicken soup and appetizers. The dishes were packed with delicious chicken flavor. For the main course, I enjoyed the Mizutaki hot pot with various chicken parts, as well as chicken rice, mentaiko, karaage, and chicken tataki. I was amazed by the variety of dishes made with chicken. Each dish showcased the restaurant's dedication to quality. My family had the parent-child bowl set meal and they seemed very satisfied with the taste.

The first cup (they also add tsukune at this point) and the closing zosui are made by the staff, but everything else is self-service. I was surprised because I had the impression that the staff would handle all the processes for sukiyaki. For those trying sukiyaki for the first time, it might be confusing, so it might be better to ask to have it made for you from the beginning or try another store. The chicken skin with ponzu sauce was exquisite. It's nice that you can choose between white rice, mixed grain rice, or champon noodles for the closing dish. It seems to be easy to eat sukiyaki casually.

I tried my favorite Hanamidori restaurant. Unfortunately, the Nogawa branch is gone, but the Tenjin branch offers lunch with private rooms in the basement. It's actually larger than you'd imagine from the entrance. The appetizers, okyu and additional fried chicken, are incredibly juicy and delicious. The finale of zosui with mentaiko and takana is just amazing. I love that it has private rooms so you don't have to worry about the surroundings. They also accept PayPay.

A water hotpot restaurant in Tenjin, Hakata. The interior of the restaurant had a luxurious feel with semi-private rooms. It was my first visit, so I ordered a set menu for around 4000 yen. There were appetizers, followed by the main water hotpot, and finally noodles to finish. The staff kindly guided me on how to eat the water hotpot, from when it's ready to how to enjoy it, which was helpful for a beginner like me.

Now, due to the coronavirus, alcohol was not available, so we had to make do with non-alcoholic drinks. The course menu costs 4700 yen, but we were able to enjoy it for only 1000 yen through a travel agency package. We started with a dish of konjac and eggplant, followed by quiche, liver paste, and pointed corn among three other dishes. Then, we had raw ham, sashimi, and hot and fluffy chicken nanban. A pot of chicken broth with plenty of collagen and chunky vegetables was served, and we were encouraged to taste the soup and meat before the main dish arrived. Unfortunately, there are no photos... The staff made tsukune right in front of us and added it to the pot, along with chicken meat, liver, and heart, as well as vegetables, glass noodles, and tofu for us to add ourselves. Afterwards, we could choose between zosui or champon using the leftover soup. Zosui was also made in front of us. Finally, we had dessert. It was a well-known restaurant, and their soups were even sold at airports. The private room was quiet and nice.

Tonight we had hot pot. When it gets cold, the frequency of having hot pot increases, right? Last week we had motsu hot pot, so this time we had water-based hot pot. It was my first time at this restaurant. The taste was stable and problem-free as always! Personally, I prefer the Iroha hot pot, but of course, the Hanamigari chicken is also delicious. I walked quite a bit after having a full lunch, so I could enjoy the 3500 yen water-based hot pot course. The chicken prosciutto that came out first was perfect as a beer snack! It goes really well with drinks. I enjoyed the hot pot while warming up my body with Shirataka shochu on the rocks. I might go see the Christmas illuminations and have some hot wine on my way back. I heard that the first water hotpot in Fukuoka is at Hanamidori. The white soup with chicken chunks was a perfect match. I would love to visit again. It was a very delicious and elegant water hotpot. When it comes to Hakata, I definitely want to stop by for water hotpot.

I went out for lunch on Saturday. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 when they opened. I have had the sukiyaki course at the Hakata Station branch a few times in the evening, but this was my first time at the Tenjin branch for lunch. I had the motsunabe and sukiyaki set meal. The sukiyaki was consistently delicious. The motsunabe was quite light because it was based on the sukiyaki broth, so it felt a bit bland. The motsu was big, chewy, juicy, and very tasty. The tatami room was full, but the semi-private table seat was convenient for families with children. It was a calm and enjoyable experience.

When I visited Hakata for the first time, I went to this restaurant. It seems like there are branches around the main stations, so the location of each store seems good. I went to the store near Tenjin Station. I was full, so I simply ordered two servings of Mizutaki, which was quite filling. The chicken pieces and tsukune were very delicious. The staff took care of everything from the first soup to the finish of the zosui, so we just had to eat, receiving the best hospitality. For the finish, you can choose between noodles or zosui, and you can even choose between white rice or eight-grain rice for the zosui. The staff also talked to us in a friendly manner, which made me happy (on a side note, Hakata dialect is really cute, isn't it?). I would love to visit again to eat when I go to Hakata next time.

When I went to a different restaurant before, it was an older woman, so the experience was completely different. Well, the taste was just delicious. I visited for Saturday lunch. It's great to have lunch on a Saturday. I wanted to eat oyakodon, so I had the oyakodon lunch set! They open at 11:30 am, but there were already several groups waiting before opening. The chicken in the oyakodon was very tender, and the egg was fluffy and delicious. The accessibility and reasonable prices make it very convenient compared to other restaurants. It's great to have when a friend from out of town suddenly says they want to eat Mizutaki or something. However, there are many things that bother me about the restaurant's service. On this day, I made a reservation over the phone and was told that only the 3500 yen lunch course was available. I agreed to it and went to the restaurant... but once I was seated, I was completely ignored. No one took my order, and I wasn't given a wet towel. I thought they might be preparing the course since I had made a reservation, but nothing happened. I finally asked a staff member if they were taking orders yet, and they gave me a strange look and said, "No, not yet." I was surprised and wished they had come to take my order sooner. Even though it's a good deal, the restaurant promotes itself as having a landlady... so I would have expected at least a brief apology like "I'm sorry." It's disappointing when the service suddenly becomes poor.・°°・(＞_＜)・°°・.

The next customer went inside and it turned out the store was actually open. I ended up ordering the Tenjin set meal for 1800 yen, which came with a chicken hot pot. The chicken was not very tender and there was liver in it, which I don't like. The broth was slightly thin, I prefer it to be stronger in chicken flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, but the cramped counter seating made it a bit uncomfortable when the staff was preparing food right next to me. Overall, it felt like a restaurant not specialized in hot pot serving a light and tasty version of it.

I went to have a casual lunch on the weekend as they only offer it on Saturdays and Sundays. A friend from Tokyo who had never tried mizutaki before wanted to go, so we went for lunch. The soup with salt and yuzu pepper added was amazing, so I wonder why they don't mention it. We also had to wait quite a while. It was a luxurious lunch, but my friend from Tokyo enjoyed it, so I'm glad.

There are many Hakata Hanamidori restaurants nationwide, including one near Don Quijote in Hakata Tenjin. Lunch is more affordable than dinner, and you can enjoy a delicious water hot pot. The broth was light and the side dishes were plentiful and visually appealing.
