I visited around 4 pm on March 1, 2022, and tried the Grâce (white cake), which was really delicious and I love it so much. I never get tired of it no matter how many times I have it. The pear tart and the orange tart were also very delicious. I forgot to take a picture, but the Amadine pastry was also delicious. It had a mild sweetness and a slightly bitter taste. Thank you as always for the wonderful meal. I will visit again.

Located in a residential area in Takamiya, Minami Ward, is a quiet cake shop. I didn't even know it existed in the neighborhood until I saw a post from Mairebi-sama and decided to visit. Inside the shop, there is a small showcase displaying cakes, and in the back, there are baked goods and a small seating area. This time, I bought a Mont Blanc, a strawberry cake with Amaou strawberries, and a Gras. The Mont Blanc and strawberry cake reminded me of the nostalgic taste of old-fashioned cakes. The Gras is said to be popular among men. I will visit again when I want to taste that nostalgic flavor!

I was deeply impressed by the Mont Blanc at Chapter 3 nearby, which has a mild sweetness and creamy texture. This hidden gem of a dessert shop is run by a sophisticated and friendly lady. The taste is truly exquisite!

Located in a residential area, this old-fashioned cake shop offers a variety of delicious treats. The "Keksare" on the left costs 126 yen and is filled with ham, onions, and paprika. When lightly toasted, it tastes even better. The "Gift from Piaf" on the right costs 399 yen and is filled with adorable blueberries. There is also a chocolate flavor available. The cross-section reveals layers of sponge cake and blueberry cream. The apple pie and Mont Blanc are also popular choices. Overall, the food was delicious, and the quiches and tarts looked appetizing as well. Thank you for the meal! Cake House Piaf is located at 1-24-24 Noma, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City. Closed on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays. Open from 9:30 to 20:30.

A small cake shop run by a woman on her own. It has a local feel and is quite cozy. When I arrived, they had just sold out of Mont Blanc cakes. They said they could make one in 5 minutes, so I decided to wait. I wanted to eat it right away when I got home. The freshly squeezed chestnut cream in the Mont Blanc was delicious. The balance of sweetness was perfect and it was really tasty. I thought to myself that Mont Blanc should definitely be eaten fresh. Amandine is a historic cake that has been around since the shop was founded. It's a simple tart made with almond powder. I can see why it's a long-time bestseller. It looks simple but it was delicious. The chocolate cake had a nostalgic taste. It may not be modern, but it reminded me of the birthday cakes I had as a child. It was exactly the taste of a whole chocolate cake!

This is a local shop that has been around for 20 years. Inside the shop, there were many delicious sweets like cakes, tarts, and cookies. Everything is made by just two people, which is amazing! They bake croissants only on weekends, and there are many different types to choose from. Regular customers usually have their favorite items to buy. I ended up choosing the last apple pie for 399 yen. When I opened the box at home, I found a sauce included. The sauce had a tangy flavor with a hint of alcohol, which complemented the apple pie well. Despite not having high expectations, the sauce was surprisingly delicious. It goes to show that local shops should not be underestimated! They also hold a monthly baking class on the third Wednesday of every month.
