In Ura Namba, you can enjoy authentic, creative French cuisine! I used to frequent this place about 10 years ago. Due to recent circumstances like COVID-19, they have irregular hours, so I finally had the chance to visit again. The first amuse-bouche soup they serve is amazing, with a caramelized corn homemade soup that is sweet and delicious. The ordering process has changed a bit, as you have to choose all your dishes at the beginning like a course menu. Since the chef is the only one in the kitchen, it's understandable but you can't add more dishes later, so you have to be mindful of what you order based on your stomach capacity. If you want to try a variety of dishes, it's best to go with around 4 people. Everything we had was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I decided to try this place! I had some beer and red wine! Delicious appetizers and wine. I had a great time chatting with friends and the staff. Next, I'll have a proper meal! It was delicious. This is a calm casual French restaurant. The taste is undeniable. The food may take some time to come out, so it's best for those who have time to spare. I recommend the duck confit. They have a variety of wines as well, so you can enjoy them! Definitely give it a try.

I wanted to have a glass of wine at the second stop of my food tour, so I asked the staff outside if it was okay to just have a drink before entering. There were no other customers, so I sat at the counter on the first floor. There were two groups of customers on the second floor. I ordered the recommended red wine after being asked about my preferences. I don't remember if the variety was explained or not, but since it's a bistro known for its wine, I wish they had shown me the bottle. I couldn't take a photo. A cold soup was served as an appetizer. It was delicious. The pickles were also tasty. I wanted to have some meat, but was told that I had to order appetizers or main dishes to do so, so I gave up on that. Instead, I had the blue cheese gratin. The value for money was not that great, and since my expectations were high, I was a bit disappointed.

In the Namba area, it's hard to find good French restaurants. You usually have to go to Shinsaibashi or somewhere else to find one. However, I discovered a great French restaurant in a hidden spot near Namba called Carbre Rosetta. It's a small two-story house with a cozy atmosphere. The first floor has a counter seat and the second floor has about 10 table seats. The ambiance is dark and elegant. While waiting for my companion, I enjoyed some prosciutto, salami, cheese, and sparkling wine. When my companion arrived, we ordered some dishes. The amuse-bouche was a potage soup with caramel sauce, which was interesting. The white asparagus blancmange came with sweet shrimp, consomme jelly, and caviar. The house-made pancetta carbonara was rich and had truffles. For the main course, we had tripe cutlet, which was crispy on top with stewed tripe. It was a unique and delicious dish. For dessert, we had creme brulee and black bean tiramisu. We also had four glasses of wine, coffee, and two juices, which came to around 14,000 yen. Overall, the food was made with quality ingredients and was delicious. The value for money was also good. Considering the convenient location near Namba, this French restaurant is quite outstanding.

I went to this restaurant for the second time with my friend for dinner. I really liked the atmosphere and the delicious food when I came here before, so I decided to visit again. I like that even people who don't drink alcohol can enjoy the meal here (although I do enjoy drinking, haha). There were so many dishes that caught my eye today! Since we couldn't order too many, we carefully selected the following:
- Today's appetizer: Potage soup made with Kyoto Kameoka daikon
- Merimeru salad
- Cod milt gratin
- Crab and crab miso gnocchi
- Grilled beef harami
This was just the right amount for the two of us. We enjoyed it with beer and wine. I would like to come back in a different season next time, as I might discover new menu items. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The salad with prosciutto and fruits was very delicious. I agreed to wait around 1 hour for the main dish, truffle risotto with quail, but it actually took 2 hours to arrive. By that time, I was already full and feeling a bit dragged out. The regular customers next to me arrived later but were served first. I don't want to believe that they prioritize the order of dishes... If you have plenty of time and don't mind waiting, then it might be okay for you.

All the dishes were delicious! However, I was very surprised by the attitude of the staff. They recommended ordering an appetizer + main dish + two other items as it would be just the right amount, but I wasn't that hungry and I am a light eater, so I ordered soup + appetizer + gratin + pasta. When I tried to explain that I thought it was enough, they said, "We cannot accept any additional orders, so please order everything now." They also asked us to leave early because we didn't order much. They also tried to force us to order a main dish. My mother and I were both surprised by their behavior. As we were leaving, they even said, "You didn't get full, right? You eat lightly." It was a bit disappointing despite the food being delicious. The sign at the restaurant mentioned that they prioritize those who eat a lot, so maybe they are more accommodating to those who order a lot... It seems like good customer service is more important than the food in a restaurant after all.

During dinner, I stumbled upon "Curve Rosetta" and decided to visit. The restaurant was located in the back streets near Namba, and from the outside, you couldn't see inside. I hadn't made a reservation, so it took some courage to enter, but the staff inside were very friendly. There were seats on the first and second floors, creating a calm atmosphere. It was very popular. I wanted to have wine, so I ordered dishes that would pair well with it. Cheers! The restaurant had a sommelier who recommended a glass of wine that complemented the dishes. The food was well-seasoned, and the wine went down smoothly. The balance was perfect, and both were delicious. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

It's a memory from two years ago, but it was very delicious. I believe it was a Christmas dinner, and there was a salad with couscous and other creative French-inspired dishes that I enjoyed. Most importantly, my companion couldn't forget the "adult's Napolitan" dish, and we are planning to revisit soon. I will add more details after our next visit.
