I've always wanted to go and finally made it! I arrived just before noon and was able to get in easily, but by the time I left, there was a line forming, haha. The brown rice and side dishes were delicious, of course, but the croquette was the best... it was fluffy and didn't have that soy meat texture. The avocado was also amazing, as expected.

I finally visited a place I had always wanted to go! I sat on the terrace and enjoyed the sunshine, although it was quite hot. I ordered the seasonal Buddha bowl, which was healthy and my body appreciated it (lol). I definitely want to visit again! Just a heads up, sparrows kept coming to try to steal food! ^_^;

Today's Dashlan. Today I went solo and since it's hot, I didn't feel like going far for a run. I opted for something nearby. Soup set for 1200 yen. Brown rice. Green pea and kale soup. Vegan and good for the body! Let's aim for a diet!! Thank you for the meal (•́✧•̀)

I had a vegan salad for breakfast. The toast with chickpea paste was gentle in flavor, and even when topped with savory items like soy meatballs, it was still very delicious. The soy meatballs had a stretchy texture due to the protein content, similar to cheese, which was chewy and very tasty. I would like to try the Optimus Bowl for lunch as well.

I tried the Buddha Bowl in spring. It was very delicious. I thought it was a bit expensive, but there were many ingredients and it was healthy. The staff were very hospitable, and I could relax in a calm atmosphere during my break. It was worth it considering that. Thank you for the meal!

I often find this place fully booked, but on this day we were able to get in without waiting in line. I ordered the soy meat karaage plate, while my friend got the OPTIMUS Buddha Bowl. The plate was filled with fresh vegetables and brown rice. The main karaage dish looked like chicken karaage (lol), but the taste was delicious, resembling a low-fat chicken karaage. The combination of vegetables, brown rice, and karaage made for a healthy and filling lunch. We also ordered an Earl Grey ice cream, which could have been a bit more generous. With the weather getting warmer, the terrace seating is a nice option. Thank you for the meal.

I had the avocado toast for breakfast. I wonder if it was frozen? I couldn't taste the avocado. Ordering was done by scanning a QR code on the menu. The staff were efficient, which was good. The location is, of course, great.

On Wednesday at 12:45, I visited "Optimus Cafe" at Naniwa Bridge. This cafe is rare in this area as it does not use any animal-based ingredients. I ordered the "Bolognese Rice Pasta (1,100 yen)". The kitchen staff seemed to be foreigners. The dish arrived after 17 minutes. I took a bite and it was delicious. The Bolognese made with 100% rice pasta and homemade tomato sauce was meat-free. The pasta had a normal texture and the tangy tomato sauce was tasty. The mince-like meat was probably made from soybeans. The dish also had eggplant in it, making it a complete Bolognese. The menu offers a variety of vegan dishes like the "Buddha Bowl", "Spicy Keema Curry", and "Soy Meat Karaage Plate". The presentation and taste of the dishes at this vegan cafe were well thought out. With the changing times, I feel like these types of cafes will become more popular. Thank you for the meal.

I have tried both eating in and taking out from this restaurant. I was a bit skeptical about vegan food and how it would taste due to the restrictions, but it turned out to be really delicious and healthy. It has become one of my favorite places to eat! The only downside was that the cookies were not baked when I visited in the morning, but it might be due to the time of day.

Today in Osaka, the sky is clear with beautiful fluffy clouds, making it perfect for enjoying a meal on a terrace while admiring the view. I feel like going to a cafe that looks like it could make me feel beautiful (maybe just my imagination). I choose a cafe with a stylish entrance that gives off a foreign vibe and faces the Okawa River, with a nice breeze flowing through. The friendly smiles of the staff add to the pleasant atmosphere. The place is not as crowded as the nearby Japanese restaurants, probably because it caters more towards women. I decide to try the "Buddha Bowl Autumn" for 1220 yen. The dish comes with fried pumpkin and tofu, both served piping hot. It's a refreshing change from the cold meal I had yesterday. Eating beets is not a common practice for me, but I enjoy the experience. The dish is not overwhelmingly delicious or healthy, but the careful presentation and colorful arrangement make it a satisfying meal. The tofu is fried perfectly, with a crispy coating that adds a nice texture. Unlike typical healthy dishes that leave you wondering if you've eaten anything, this one is fulfilling. Enjoying this beautiful plate of food under the clear blue sky and fluffy clouds, by the Okawa River and Nakanoshima Public Hall, feels priceless. The good weather adds an extra 30% to the experience. It's beyond satisfaction, it's pure joy. I was feeling down recently, but coming here was a great decision. Looking around the cafe, I noticed that everyone, including myself, seemed to be glowing with happiness.

◆Turning a Good Day Plate into an Outstanding Dish: Have a good day Plate consists of toast with homemade vegan sausage, tofu scramble, and a green salad. The vegan cheese spread on the toast and the tofu scramble both have a distinct soy smell, while the homemade sausage with oregano and rosemary has a disappointing crunchy texture. The presentation is stylish, but the taste was underwhelming, sticking to the traditional image of vegan food. ◆Menu for this Visit: Have a good day Plate: toast, homemade vegan sausage, tofu scramble, green salad. Set drink: Coffee (morning) 1250 yen per person. ◆Enjoying this Restaurant: A classy vegan cafe overlooking the riverside in Kitahama. ◆Ordering Information: This time, we ordered from the morning menu between 8:30-11:00. The Have a good day Plate costs 1050 yen on its own, with an additional 200 yen for the set drink. ◆Source: Review from Tabelog. Thank you for the meal~

I went for a morning walk and stopped by a cafe for breakfast. I sat at a terrace seat along the river, waving at passing sightseeing boats. The morning was enjoyable! I had French toast and oat milk. My friend ordered the "Have a good day plate" which was uplifting! The Angel Jasmine tea had a floral scent, truly angelic. I want to try other menu items next time. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular day, I took a day off and went on a trip to Osaka with my mother. We had lunch at this stylish vegan restaurant along the river. Despite the forecast for rain, it hadn't started raining yet, so we sat outside on the terrace. I ordered the Buddha Bowl, which is named after this restaurant. The presentation was lovely and the portion size was satisfying! Fresh vegetables, delicious fried items with a hint of junk food, and perfectly cooked brown rice. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed a leisurely and delicious lunchtime while watching the river, historic buildings on the opposite bank, and birds.

Along the terrace by the river on Tosabori Street, there are many restaurants where you can enjoy meals and drinks. A stylish café called Optimus Café is located a little west of Kitahama intersection! And, it's quite rare around here to find a vegan restaurant. It's recommended for when you feel like you've been drinking or eating too much lately and want to give your stomach a break. I regularly do fasting, so I'm happy to have more options for preparation and recovery meals. The interior of the restaurant has about 4-5 small tables, 2-3 tables on the terrace, and a few counter seats facing the river. This time, I had the brown rice keema curry, and it was delicious! It's perfect for lunch as it comes with a salad when you order a set. Although I didn't try it this time, they also have whole wheat muffins for dessert. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again!

The waterside CAFE is really cool (^^). I entered without knowing anything, but it turned out to be a Vegan CAFE. The staff said, "All our dishes are plant-based (^^)" with a smile. As for the taste, it was decent. Not overly healthy. It was somewhat bland, similar to some health-conscious restaurants where you can't taste the salt. So, even someone like me could enjoy it. When it comes to portion size, it's never-ending, but each dish was carefully prepared and you could feel the effort put into it. By the way, since it's Vegan, I think this bread was also without butter? Probably. But it was flavorful and delicious. It was a great place to enjoy a peaceful meal while looking at a nice view. The female customer ratio was high!

Visited at 11:30 on a Sunday. The restaurant was full with a waiting time for one group. After waiting for about 20 minutes, we were seated. There were counter seats, table seats, and terrace seats, but we chose the counter seats as they were available immediately. We placed our order at the table, and the payment would be made at the counter near the entrance. The highlight of the day was the limited edition Amaou strawberry tiramisu (650 yen). It is a vegan, guilt-free cafe, using coconut and soy milk cream. The soy milk flavor was strong, but the coconut flavor was not so noticeable. It is a healthy dessert made with body-friendly ingredients. I ordered a hot coffee (500 yen) for my drink. Milk and sugar did not come with it, so you need to ask the staff if you need them. The website and social media accounts mention "15:00〜 CAFE," but you can order sweets and use the cafe from 11:00 onwards.

I tried vegan cuisine for the first time at a vegan restaurant! Overall, the flavors were a bit mild, is that a characteristic of vegan food? The taste was gentle, and the croquette was so meaty that I wondered if there was actually no meat in it...! The portion was satisfying and filling.

A cafe located between Yodoyabashi and Kitahama, a 3-4 minute walk from Kitahama Station. The entrance is on the road side, but the inside of the cafe faces the Tosabori River. I visited around 3:30 pm on a weekday. Although there are other cafes nearby, they were closed, so I ended up here. There didn't seem to be much foot traffic in this area on weekends, but I wonder if it's popular with businessmen on weekdays? There were about half the customers when I went. There are plenty of outdoor terrace seats. There are also counter seats where you can sit facing the river, so it seems nice when the weather is good. It was cold, so no one was sitting on the terrace. They have a variety of food menu options that can also be used for lunch. It seems to have vegan dishes, so it might not be filling for those who want a hearty meal. They also offer a range of drinks from coffee to juice. Since I was just taking a break, I only ordered a chai latte. Although no one else was ordering at the same time, it took a while to come out. The chai latte here is unsweetened, and you have to add sugar yourself. However, I didn't really taste the spice aroma. The only good thing is that you can enjoy the riverside view.
