I stayed at the long-awaited Osaka Marriott! During the Obon period, there was a line at the front desk for check-in, but guests staying in the club room could check in at the exclusive lounge. While waiting for check-in, I enjoyed a buffet-style afternoon tea. In addition to sweets, there were mini burgers and sandwiches. Drinks, including alcohol, were all-you-can-drink! I wanted to also try the afternoon tea, but I thought it might clash with cocktail hour, so I headed to the lounge at 5:30. The hotel seemed to be fully booked, but the lounge here is spacious with high ceilings. You can really relax here. The variety of aperitifs seems to have decreased compared to five years ago, but it's just right to enjoy drinks without overeating. Seafood gratin, various cheeses, steamed shrimp dumplings, salad. There are 4 types of beer, as well as wine and sparkling wine. The glasses are clean and properly chilled. For my daughter's birthday, they made a non-alcoholic Saratoga Cooler for her. Tomorrow, we're off to the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition from the morning.

I decided to try the afternoon tea at the hotel lounge. Due to COVID, they bring all the orders to your table. The staff is very attentive, so it's stress-free. The simple sandwich and cake assortment were enough for me. The yuzu tart and chocolate mousse were delicious! After sunset, it was cocktail time. They had a great selection of cocktails. I started with a mimosa. They brought a plate of snacks, including some for kids. The portions were not big, but they had everything from salad to dessert, so after eating all day, it was enough for dinner. The taste of everything was great. I later found out that this lounge is known for its food. Before COVID, they used to have a more luxurious buffet style. I sent the kids back with QP by 7:30 pm and enjoyed a drink alone in the lounge for a little while.

I had the opportunity to use the Club Lounge (38th floor) of the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel, located in Japan's tallest building, Abeno Harukas. The lounge was spacious and impressive, offering a continental breakfast from 6:30 to 7:00, followed by a buffet with both Japanese and Western options until 10:30. In the evening, there was a cocktail time from 5:30 to 7:30, followed by bar time until 9:30. The lounge offered a variety of drinks including beer, Bordeaux and Australian wines, and spirits such as bourbon and Japanese whisky. The food served in the lounge was delicious, with highlights being takoyaki for breakfast and miso-braised pork spare ribs for dinner. Desserts from the M-Boutique were a favorite of my partner. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience at the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel.

The views from the room are amazing! The hotel has a club lounge, which I was eager to experience due to its high reputation. You can access the club lounge by staying in a club floor or suite, or if you have Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status or higher. The afternoon tea was delightful with cute sweets that my daughter loved. The cocktail time was a highlight, with a great selection of food and drinks. The club lounge is a great place for food lovers like me. I look forward to trying the breakfast and bar time on my next visit!

This time I stayed in Kansai for 4 nights. I stayed at Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel for 1-2 nights. I took a break in the lounge while checking in... The lounge was even better than I imagined. The space is fantastic. It's spacious, and in terms of space, it might be the best. The food and drinks are also great, and the staff's service is top-notch. By the way, you can bring drinks from here to your room, so I really like how generous Marriott is...

The breakfast at the Osaka Marriott Club Lounge includes made-to-order omelets and a buffet selection. They also have crispy bacon available. While the breakfast restaurant may offer more variety, the Club Lounge provides a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with a good range of Western, Japanese, and Chinese options. I prefer the Club Lounge for a more enjoyable experience.

I stayed in a corner room at Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel and used the tea time and cocktail time. The atmosphere was quiet and nice, with plenty of seats so it wasn't crowded, which left a good impression. You can choose your favorite items from the buffet table. During cocktail time, I came for soft drinks after having dinner outside, and there was a group that seemed like they had been there since cocktail time, making a meal out of the dishes. I wanted to use the space more smartly.

Is this a hidden gem? It was the day before a holiday so there were hardly any people, making it a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The window seats were full, but the view was nice.

I opted for a one-night stay with a lounge. There were foreign employees, which made communication a bit difficult. I wasn't sure what a lounge was, so I asked if it was free or if there was an additional charge, and they said it was probably free. It turned out to be free indeed. The menu offerings varied depending on the time of day, and while not extensive, I was able to eat my fill. I started with some fancy desserts, which were delicious. In the evening, there were drinks and light snacks. Since I don't drink alcohol, I ended up craving some plain rice. While I was getting my food, they cleared everything, so I ended up using a lot of chopsticks and the small plates made me feel a bit hungry each time I went back for more. Breakfast had rice and bread, and I was satisfied. The room had a great view, a separate toilet and bath, a high-pressure shower, plenty of amenities, a coffee machine, a humidifier, free bottled water, and even a newspaper. There was also a free ticket to the observation deck, which I visited the next day, and the view was similar to what I saw from my room. I was surprised to see crows flying so high. They also stored my luggage after check-out. I would love to visit again.

A place to forget everything and feel the relaxed flow of time.

Seasonal limited edition chestnut Mont Blanc. A set of three items: Mont Blanc, chestnut honey ice cream, and chestnut confit. There is also a set that can be enjoyed with matcha, but personally, I prefer coffee with Mont Blanc. So, I had coffee. The rich Mont Blanc goes well with the chestnut honey ice cream, allowing you to fully enjoy autumn sweets. However, the cake, ice cream, and confit set is quite filling, so it may be best to go for a light lunch or even consider it as a lunch replacement. The quality is such that you will want to visit every autumn. By the way, the strawberry dessert in spring was also exquisite. Thank you very much.

The ceiling is high, the lighting is just right, the seats are spacious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The two types of sandwiches are exquisite, and they also offer cakes, scones, cup desserts, etc. Among the club lounges in Osaka, this one is top-notch. There is a wide variety of cakes, and they bring out different types one after another. The taste is delicious, and the quality is quite high. Also, the children were enjoying plenty of potato chips. They have a good amount of salt and a satisfying crunch, making them a type of potato chip that you can't find in supermarkets. Even though it was daytime, they had champagne available.
