This is a cafeteria located near the Nanakuma Line Ropponmatsu Station and the courthouse. It offers a spacious and cozy dining space where fried dishes, curry, and fish set meals are popular. You can have unlimited rice refills and free coffee. It is considered a high-value cafeteria overall. It is located on the first floor of a monthly mansion called "Business One Ropponmatsu," which seems to be an affiliated facility. Of course, it is open to the general public as well. The exterior is not very noticeable from the street, but many people working nearby were seen visiting. The interior is simple and spacious, more like a company cafeteria. There is even a small courtyard, allowing plenty of natural light and creating a pleasant atmosphere. In Ropponmatsu, where small eateries are common, having such a spacious place is a delight. The tables and seats are generously spaced, allowing groups to relax comfortably. The regular lunch menu includes set meals for 800 yen each and homemade curry rice for 550 yen. Rice refills are free, and self-service coffee is included. On the day of the visit, the daily lunch menu options were Kampachi sashimi set meal for 950 yen, conger eel fry set meal for 950 yen, grilled mackerel set meal for 900 yen, and thick-cut pork cutlet set meal for 1,200 yen. Before the ordered dishes arrive, you can enjoy self-service chilled tea. There is also a pickles corner with daikon radish and takana pickles. The conger eel fry set meal for 950 yen was ordered, which is rare to find as most eel dishes are usually simmered or tempura. The eel was thick and had a resilient texture. The side dishes included bean thread salad, chilled tofu, and jelly dessert. The miso soup had fish scraps in it. The thick-cut pork cutlet set meal for 1,200 yen had a crispy and fragrant coating. The meat was lean with a light texture. After the meal, coffee was enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Plus, for an additional 100 yen, there was a self-service corner with unlimited black tea. Various tea leaves were available. Every Friday is "Fish Friday," offering discounted fish set meals. It's a rare find in Ropponmatsu to have sashimi or fish dishes in a set meal, so it's a treat. I would love to try the seafood bowl! Thursdays feature bowl dishes on the menu.
