Visit on 8/14/2023! Tried the Ankake Yakisoba with Almond Tofu for 1,200 yen, and also ordered a leek bun for 150 yen. Despite the frequent complaints, I was curious about the taste. I ordered the most popular Ankake Yakisoba, which had a nice char on the noodles and plenty of toppings in the sauce. It was really delicious. It was quite crowded during lunchtime, with a long line to wait in, but the restaurant was bustling with customers.

I came here because I was having trouble deciding where to have dinner in Niseko. Lately, most restaurants in Niseko are quite expensive, so finding a place where you can have a hearty dinner for under 1000 yen is rare! That's probably why this place was so crowded when we visited. We were lucky to get in early, as there was a long line of customers waiting afterwards. I heard that they will start charging for the zasai all-you-can-eat service soon, but for now it's a great deal. The most popular dish is the Ankake Yakisoba, which was delicious. I also tried the Shoyu Ramen and the Pork Kimchi Ramen, which was a unique and tasty choice. The Pork Kimchi Ramen was only 990 yen and had a good amount of vegetables. The spring rolls were also freshly fried and had a nice seafood flavor. The prices and portions were satisfying. I recommend this place when you're in need of a dinner spot in Niseko. It's conveniently located near the roadside station. Thank you for the meal!

I visited before 1 pm on a weekday. This place is always crowded, and it was almost full even on this day. I think it's because both locals and tourists come here. I love Tenshinhan, so I decided to order it. The sauce was light and slightly salty with a soy sauce flavor. The egg was fluffy and delicious. The prices are a bit high, probably because it's a popular spot for tourists, but I will definitely come back.

I was surprised. Delicious ankake yakisoba. Lunchtime in Niseko Town. Not many options, so I decided to come here. I was a bit confused at the food ticket machine, but ended up buying my favorite ankake yakisoba for 1100 yen. It came on a large plate with plenty of volume. The ingredients included pork, shrimp, squid, enoki mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a nice char. The sauce was just the right amount and consistency. The flavor was excellent. It was authentic Chinese ankake yakisoba. I loved it. Next time, I'll try the pork fried rice.

Located across from a roadside station along Route 5 in the Niseko area, this Chinese restaurant caught my attention as it is also featured in the Hokkaido Michelin guide. During a trip towards Hakodate, I decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant has a spacious parking area in front of the building. Inside, there are counter seats, table seats, and raised tatami seating, although the space is not very large. As it was lunchtime, the restaurant was full and I had to wait for about 15 minutes at the outdoor waiting area before being seated. First, you purchase your meal ticket from the vending machine. There were around 10 lunch menu options, with the most popular being the "Gomoku Ankake Yakisoba (1,100 yen)." My wife chose this, while I opted for the "Gomoku Ramen (1,100 yen)" which we shared. The dishes were ready in about 10 minutes. Both the yakisoba and ramen were topped with a generous amount of mixed ingredients, but they shared the same base flavor. Despite having a decent portion, the dishes were surprisingly light, allowing us to enjoy them until the last bite without getting tired. Personally, I preferred the crispy texture of the yakisoba noodles, while my wife enjoyed the ramen more. Although I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side, the humorous remarks written on the wall by the owner added to the overall dining experience. If you're curious, be sure to check them out when you visit.

I don't like bean sprouts in my soy sauce ramen, so I asked if I could have it without bean sprouts. The old lady at the restaurant said, "We're not doing that right now." Well, I thought it couldn't be helped and looked around the restaurant. Then I saw a long notice on the wall! It said things like "No green onions" or "No vegetables," so is it really being too demanding to ask for no bean sprouts? The taste of the noodles and soup was normal. I left the bean sprouts, but the pork fried rice I ordered was delicious!

Niseko Lunch Pie Co. meal for 940 yen. On the way to Otokoyu Onsen in Rankoshi Town, my favorite Dog Tail restaurant was unexpectedly closed. Options are limited around here, so this place is always crowded. Unfortunately, the taste still doesn't suit me. Good thing I ordered less rice.

Visited for the first time on September 19, 2021, marking my 100th visit of the year! Today, I had a day off from work, and at my wife's request, we went on a little road trip to a sake brewery in the Niseko and Kutchan area. For lunch, I decided to try a restaurant in an area we rarely visit. The restaurant was located across the road from the bustling Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) area, and although it was quite crowded inside, we managed to find a seat. I decided to try the recommended "Pai Komen" while my wife opted for the miso ramen. As we waited for our food at a table, I noticed a sign stating that the owner may ask parents who cannot keep their children quiet to leave the premises, a rule I have seen at other restaurants as well. I completely agree with this policy, as some parents can be quite inconsiderate. Our food arrived, and the Pai Komen looked appetizing with a large piece of deep-fried pork loin. The miso ramen, on the other hand, seemed a bit underwhelming. The soup base was soy sauce-based with a lack of depth in flavor, and the thin noodles didn't have much texture or satisfaction. The highlight was the crispy deep-fried pork, which added flavor to an otherwise bland ramen. Despite the odd combination of the crispy pork getting soggy in the soup, it somehow worked. My wife found the miso ramen average, and after tasting it, I agreed that it was nothing special. Overall, the experience was interesting, and while this restaurant may not offer authentic Chinese cuisine, it was a decent meal. It was a good experience, and the food was enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

Today is the last day of my short three-day weekend, and my wife and I are planning to go see Mt. Yotei. However, as we drive down Nakayama Pass, we notice that the sky is overcast and we can't see Mt. Yotei. So, we decide to change our plans and head to a soba restaurant in Makkari Village instead. When we arrive, we realize that the restaurant doesn't open until 11:30 am, and there are already 5 cars waiting in the parking lot. We would have to wait for an hour just to have their specialty soba noodles, so we decide to look for another restaurant. After some searching, we end up at a Chinese restaurant called "Kowloon Yatai" near Niseko View Plaza. Despite the odd name, the food is delicious and the service is great. We order ramen and yakisoba, and both dishes are flavorful and satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and we enjoyed our meal.

Crab fried rice and An sauce yakisoba purchased from a ticket vending machine. It's good to snack on pickled vegetables while waiting for the order. The taste is good, but the following comments are excellent:
- Parents of noisy children may be asked to leave at the discretion of the owner.
- We don't customize ramen noodles (firm, soft, etc.), flavor intensity, oil amount, etc.
- If you want to omit green onions, vegetables, etc., please tell your mother.
- If you have allergies or need to limit salt intake as advised by a doctor, please feel free to inform us.
The service and atmosphere are rated 4 stars for the "comments". The price is a bit high, but the portion size is generous and the taste is good, so the cost-performance is rated 3.5 stars and taste 4 stars. If you don't agree with the comments, it's best not to go. It's always crowded, so it would be appreciated if there were fewer people, but the ability to separate those who resonate with the comments from those who don't is good.

After finishing my business in Rankoshi, I started my journey back home. The okonomiyaki restaurant in Niseko that I had considered was already closed. The soba restaurant I had also thought about seemed to have gone out of business. The building was still there, but it was abandoned inside. As I passed by, I happened to stumble upon this place. It was another restaurant I had been considering, so it worked out perfectly. There was one group of customers ahead of me. When I tried to enter and state my number of people, they asked me to buy meal tickets first. It's rare for a Chinese restaurant to operate on a meal ticket system. It might make it difficult to place additional orders. I ordered mapo tofu, shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, and rice. While waiting, I read the owner's comments on the blackboard. I understood what they were trying to convey, but it didn't sit well with me. First, the shrimp chili. The texture of the shrimp was excellent, and the sauce was seasoned just right. I had high hopes for the other dishes as well. I really enjoyed the mapo tofu. It had the perfect level of spiciness for me, although it was a bit too spicy for my companion. As for the sweet and sour pork, it didn't have a strong pork flavor, but it was still decent. The rice portion was too much. I should have ordered a small portion. The rice itself was delicious. By the time we finished eating, the restaurant was full and there was a line forming. It's quite popular here. Honestly, I didn't expect to find such delicious Chinese food here. Thank you for the meal.

Chinatown-style mixed rice bowl for 920 yen. Today we are looking forward to visiting the hot springs in Niseko, such as Goshiki Onsen. There aren't many appealing restaurants around here. This restaurant has a lot of lunch options, but they are all quite pricey. It's cheaper in Shinbashi. The portion size is impressive, but the taste was disappointing.

I visited for lunch. There were various lunch menus, so I had a hard time deciding. This time, I ordered the "Paiko noodles (with pork loin katsu)". It's a menu that you don't see often. I ordered it because it was delicious when I tried it last time. The pork loin katsu is delicious. It goes well with the soup. Of course, the noodles and soup are delicious too! I want to try a different menu next time. Thank you for the meal.

Due to the major outbreak of the novel coronavirus, I have been avoiding dining out since February. When I checked my Tabelog (Japanese restaurant review website) page after a long time, I noticed that there are several restaurants that I visited 7 months ago but never posted a review for. One of the places that I remember vividly is a food stall in Niseko that I visited in February when news of the coronavirus was starting to spread. It was just opening, so I was able to get a seat at the usually crowded Guangzhou Yatai. They had a ticket machine for ordering, which I find difficult to use because I can't choose based on the photos. After some confusion, my husband ordered the Paiko rice for 940 yen (including tax) and I got the Tianjin rice for 920 yen, along with 2 spring rolls for 360 yen (180 yen each). While waiting for our food, I noticed a sign on the wall with what seemed like a strict order from the owner. Reading it made me feel really uncomfortable. It basically said, "Don't come if you can't follow my rules!" It also took quite a long time for our food to be served. If you're going to act all high and mighty, at least serve the food quickly, right? The Tianjin rice wasn't too sweet, which I liked, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. The portion of rice was huge! There was too little egg compared to the amount of rice. I prefer a higher egg-to-rice ratio. As a light eater, I would have preferred if the amount of rice was reduced by half. But if I asked for that, I feel like they would yell at me, so I hesitate to go back. My husband was even more put off than I was, so I doubt we'll be returning.笑

I don't do things like specifying whether the noodles in ramen should be firm or soft, or other details like that. Because it's fine the way it is! The most important thing is to serve the best ramen that you think of. I don't need annoying customers who complain about various things! (laughs)--------------------------------I've been curious about this place for a while now. Today, I happened to be in the area before lunchtime, so I decided to stop by. It's quite popular, isn't it?! (◎_◎;) There was a bit of a wait, was it just a coincidence? Luckily, as a solo customer, I was able to sit at the counter right away. It must be because of my good deeds, haha. I ordered the most popular dish, the ankake yakisoba for 920 yen, and also asked for the free egg soup. While waiting, I read the "words of the shop owner" at the beginning and couldn't help but laugh at the end, haha. The dish arrived after about 15 minutes. It took a bit longer because it was crowded. Now, let's dig in! It's a proper Chinese-style ankake yakisoba, with each ingredient carefully prepared. The noodles are quite crispy because of the firm sauce, so they stayed crispy for a long time, haha. My impression is that it's a delicious yakisoba. I'd like to try other Chinese dishes here as well. Thank you for the meal, I'll definitely visit again!

I visited for lunch. I was in Kutchan for work. I have been here before a long time ago. It was quite crowded because it was lunchtime. This time, I ordered the "Pai Komen" (ramen with fried pork loin). At first glance, I thought it would be rich, but the soup was light. It was also quite filling. It's rare to have fried pork loin in ramen! And it tasted delicious. I would like to come back to eat again. Thank you for the meal!

Oh, they have a winter limited lunch set that changes weekly? This week's A, B, and C lunch sets are different. A: Yurinchi chicken set B: Mapo tofu set C: Liver and leek stir-fry set I chose A, and my companion chose C. The Yurinchi chicken set includes 6 pieces of chicken karage with a sweet vinegar sauce, served piping hot. Be careful, it's too hot to eat right away. The Liver and leek stir-fry set is packed with pork liver and plenty of leeks, also served piping hot. Be careful not to burn yourself. While waiting for our order, we enjoyed the complimentary pickled vegetables, which were delicious. I always leave this place feeling happily full after lunch!

During lunchtime, even though it's cold outside, the dishes that come out are piping hot and generously portioned, filling you up completely. My order was the Winter Limited Lunch Set B - with glass noodles. The next day, I went for Lunch Set A - Vinegar Chicken Rice Bowl. Both are priced at ¥1080 and come with a main dish, rice (free refills allowed), soup, almond jelly, and pickled vegetables stir-fry on the side. While waiting, I snacked on the pickled vegetables - delicious! Set A comes with fried chicken in a sweet and sour sauce, be careful as it's piping hot and can burn your mouth. It's served steaming hot and doesn't cool down quickly. It's a hearty portion that will leave you full. Set B features thinly sliced pork, bell peppers, and glass noodles stir-fried in a spicy sauce. It's extremely spicy - very very hot! In addition to being piping hot, it's a real tongue-burner. The rice helps cool your mouth down! Next time, I'll try Set C - Kung Pao Chicken for sure!

I had mapo tofu, but it was somehow different... I think it's better to avoid anything other than the chili sauce fried chicken here. The prices are high too. It's already been said, but I wonder why it's always so crowded. Maybe because there are no other restaurants around? It's not that it's bad tasting. It's better to think of it as a local diner. If you're looking for Chinese food, I think Hwasyo in Kutchan is tastier.
