Masuke (Masike). The JR ticket from Hage Station to Masike Station is now considered premium? It has only been a few years since the line was discontinued. Time flies, doesn't it? I stopped by on my way back from Wakkanai. ... After various twists and turns, I ended up at this restaurant. 1. Hanporo Nishin-ya in Haboro - The restaurant is closed until the end of February. 2. Sumire in Obira - Closed on Mondays? Wasn't it open? It was closed... 3. Masuke - A restaurant near this place with a great deal on lunch seafood bowls. It was closed. Yes, I was turned down by three places. ... Yes, there is a parking space next to the restaurant. There were no cars around 1:00 PM on Monday. No previous customers either. It can't be helped, the winter Oro Line is lonely, cold, and windy. It's common for there to be no cars passing by for 10 minutes. There were about 10 seats at the counter and maybe three table seats? I didn't take notes, so it's an estimate. When I entered, there were two cool-looking men who looked like they knew their ramen! This looks promising. I'm curious about the sake lees ramen at Kuni Sato Sake Brewery across the street, but let's stick to the basics here. I ordered the Sweet Shrimp Miso Ramen for 820 yen including tax. The regular Miso Ramen is 770 yen, so I chose the shrimp miso for an extra 50 yen, of course. I usually like to order rice with regular miso ramen, but I didn't order it this time because another review said it was delicious even without rice. It turned out to be the right choice. It has arrived, the Sweet Shrimp Miso Ramen. Let's try the soup. Hmm, it lacks punch. But the shrimp has a distinct shell flavor... Shell flavor? It's fragrant, you could say. The noodles are, hmm, quite good. They go well with this soup. The texture of the noodles is just right. There was a TV playing with sound, of course, but you could also hear a radio from the kitchen behind the counter. The crossing of these sounds isn't really pleasant. I wish they would choose one. As I was eating, a salaryman came in and ordered the Sweet Shrimp Miso Ramen in a large serving. It seems that this is the main attraction of this place after all. He quietly slurped his ramen. ... Huh? The sweetness is gradually coming out...? And although I initially thought it lacked punch, it surprisingly has a rich flavor...? Come to think of it, I remember feeling the same way when I had famous shrimp miso ramen at New Chitose Airport. Could this type of shrimp ramen become addictive if you recommend it? It's interesting how it turned out different from my initial impression. Before I knew it, I had finished the entire soup. Oh, I guess I didn't need rice after all. The ramen was satisfying on its own. It was an enjoyable ramen, unlike the strong Sapporo miso ramen.
