I had lunch near my usual spot in Shinsaibashi today. I went to a pork shabu-shabu restaurant that I had been wanting to try for a while. The restaurant is located in front of Standard Bookstore, behind the Korean Consulate. I arrived around 1 PM and sat at the counter, as there were no other customers. There were about 6 lunch menu options available. I ordered the pork cutlet set for 900 yen, and it arrived in about 5-6 minutes. The cutlet was huge and delicious! I chose the egg ponzu sauce, which was also great. The meat was firm and tasty, and I managed to finish the slightly generous portion. I'm looking forward to trying the ginger pork set next time!

I used to visit this place often, but it's been a year since I last came. They open at 12:00 for lunch, which is a bit late for me personally. I tried the "Millefeuille steamed seiro lunch set for 1,300 yen including tax." It's not something you see often, and it's quite good. It may look like a lot at first, but since it's made with Chinese cabbage, it's practically zero calories (laughs). It also comes with pork cutlet. The pickled turnip side dish is also nice. It used to get crowded during weekend lunches, but it was empty today. I wonder if everything is okay.

I made a reservation for a seat at a restaurant in Minami with my friends to eat pork shabu-shabu. We ordered the "Hana Course," which was the most reasonable option and included both steamed dishes and shabu-shabu. The first dishes that came out were sea bream sashimi and fillet cutlet served with homemade ponzu sauce. The pink fillet cutlet was tender and juicy, and tasted refreshing with the ponzu sauce. The steamed dish consisted of layers of Chinese cabbage and pork, which combined the sweetness of the cabbage with the richness of the pork. It was so delicious that we asked for extra rice! The pork shabu-shabu came with green onions, lettuce, tofu, and meatballs, all cooked in a delicious kombu broth. We ended the meal with fine noodles from Tokushima, perfect for finishing off the hot pot. The final yuzu sherbet was subtly sweet and refreshing, a great way to cleanse the palate. The restaurant was very new and clean, with second-floor table seats that were nicely spaced out, giving a semi-private feel.

I had a lunch of miso bonito dashi pork cutlet. The meat was incredibly tender and delicious! I thought I'd like to try the shabu-shabu for dinner next. The lunch set was around 1000 yen with free rice refills. Great cost performance!! I was completely satisfied with a full stomach.

I used the Shinsaibashi store here many times at night, but this time I happened to find the Namba store during lunch when I was wondering what to eat. It's in Amerikamura, right? I went to Hokusei during lunchtime, but it was crowded. I went to New Light, but it was crowded. In the midst of that, I found this place. It was like an oasis in the sweltering heat. And the restaurant was empty inside. Lucky me, I thought as I drank water. The tonkatsu set meal with unlimited rice, which is also served in the course menu at night, is too cheap at 1,050 yen. It's nice that you can choose between Hermes sauce and egg ponzu. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal.

I had some errands in Namba, so I decided to visit a nearby restaurant with high ratings for lunch. Originally, I was planning to have shabu-shabu for lunch since it was a shabu-shabu restaurant, but when I saw the menu, the tonkatsu looked delicious so I changed my mind. The result was amazing! The meat was incredibly tender. In addition to the tonkatsu, it also came with rock salt (I think?), which I actually preferred. I definitely want to try the shabu-shabu next time! The portion size was generous, and with free rice refills, it was a great value for just under 1000 yen. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try either the monthly special lunch or the mille-feuille set meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I couldn't resist ordering the last one of the limited menu item after hearing the kitchen staff's voice. The Kagoshima Kurobuta pork and cabbage mille-feuille steamed set meal for 1300 yen was so delicious! The rice was also free for seconds! The set included pork and cabbage mille-feuille and pork cutlet. The cabbage was surprisingly sweet! It was so tasty, I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal. Just a heads up, the waiting time is quite long.

The tonkatsu restaurant has a high-class feel with spacious seating and a nice atmosphere!! For lunch, they specialize in tonkatsu and I ordered the loin cutlet which is made from brand pork but only costs 980 yen, making it a great value!! The frying is not as authentic as in high-end restaurants, more like a casual dining place, but the pork is really delicious!! If you're looking for a beer snack, I recommend having it with salt. The Hermes sauce goes well with the rice. Both were really tasty. It may be hard to tell from the photos, but the rice portion is actually quite large so be careful. The amount of cabbage is about 1.5 times more than in a regular restaurant (lol). The service is polite and the restaurant has a calm atmosphere, making it suitable for a date or a group outing.

I visited this place just before it opened at 12 o'clock. There were already a few people waiting, but the restaurant is spacious so there's no need to rush. I was shown to a private room and ordered using a call bell system. The lunch menu includes: Pork Cutlet (1050 yen), Loin Cutlet (980 yen), Mixed Fry Set Meal (1230 yen), Katsudon with Miso Soup (980 yen), Pork Soup Set Meal (750 yen), Kirishima Mountain Pork Shabu-Shabu Set Meal (1500 yen), Kirishima Mountain Pork and Cabbage Millefeuille Steamed Rice Set Meal (1300 yen). I always eat Loin Cutlet, but today I decided to try the steamed dish, only to end up ordering the Loin Cutlet with Egg Yolk Ponzu (980 yen) again. I seem to be addicted to the Loin Cutlet with Egg Yolk Ponzu here. A while later, a tray arrived with a delicious aroma. Miso soup, pickles, rock salt, Moon-viewing Ponzu, and the star of the show, the Loin Cutlet. The cutlet had a thin, crispy coating with a slightly sweet, fatty flavor. When dipped in the Moon-viewing Ponzu, the dripping egg white and the Ponzu's acidity combined with the meat's umami exploded in my mouth. Ah, happiness! I have become a tonkatsu junkie at this place.

I ordered a lunch set with a steamed basket. It came with tonkatsu and I was very satisfied! The taste was delicious and I will definitely visit again. The steamed basket alone was quite filling, so even though rice refills were possible, I couldn't manage it this time. Next time, I think I'll order the tonkatsu.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I felt like having some simple pork shabu-shabu after a long time. I couldn't decide between the Shinsaibashi branch and the Namba branch, but I chose the Namba branch because it has sofa seating. The sofa seats are like those in a family restaurant. When you pull down the curtains, it's harder for others to see you, so you can have a calm conversation. Well, if the nearby tables are loud, you can hear everything, but it's tolerable. I ordered the sea bream sashimi with uni soy sauce, pork shabu-shabu with kelp broth, and fillet cutlet (forgot to take a picture). The sea bream sashimi had a unique texture and was satisfying to eat. The uni soy sauce added a luxurious touch. The pork shabu-shabu was served with kelp broth. Eating it with plenty of white leeks made it even more refreshing. It's quite mild if you don't add yuzu pepper, but it's still delicious without it. After the pork shabu-shabu, I felt like having more, so I ordered the fillet cutlet, which you dip in a broth similar to soy sauce or rock salt, mixed with raw egg. Surprisingly, it was light in flavor, but it makes you crave for rice. Being a light eater, I was quite full by this point. Lastly, I boiled Tokushima-made half-length noodles (slightly thicker than somen) in the pork shabu-shabu broth.

I came back after 3 years٩(`・ω・´)و and this time I went for the steamed dishes instead of shabu-shabu, haha. The "Yellowtail sashimi with raw sea urchin and soy sauce" felt like a perfect winter dish with its seasonal flavors (* ॑꒳ ॑* ). It was really delicious this time, unlike my previous visit when it didn't leave much of an impression. The pork belly and cabbage mille-feuille steamed dish brought back nostalgic flavors from three years ago (*^^*). The "Yellowtail sake steamed dish" was amazing!! So delicious, it's dangerous haha. It's quite big, so if you have it with shabu-shabu, you might get full quickly♪ The seared sushi with domestic beef was a delightful surprise, you'll know it once you try it haha. Cheap and delicious! The interior of the restaurant was nice and the tonkatsu set was also affordable. Lunchtime was great! I ordered the sauce version, but it also came with salt so I could enjoy both flavors. A small side dish was also included. I arrived 30 minutes before the last order, and I was the only customer in the restaurant, so it was quiet and nice.

The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was delicious! I didn't really enjoy the yellowtail hot pot, so I think it would have been better to just have it as sashimi. For the finale, rice porridge might be better than noodles.

I have been to "Buta-sho" many times. There are various tonkatsu options, but the tonkatsu here is quite addictive ♫ It's one of my favorite places for tonkatsu within the 1000 yen price range for lunch. There are various lunch menu options, but I always go for the "Rosu Katsu with Tsukimi Ponzu" for 980 yen ♫ The freshly cooked rice with free refills is great, and the unlimited sesame seeds to sprinkle on top are a nice touch. They always give a small side dish as a service, and the miso soup changes with the seasons. I really felt like eating shabu-shabu, so I went to Butsushi-san. The exterior was very stylish and had a nice atmosphere. The shabu-shabu itself had a generous amount and filled me up. The yellowtail sashimi was thick and delicious. The female staff seemed new and inexperienced, but they tried their best to provide good service, which was nice.

Seasonal limited Winter Course with all-you-can-drink (5500 yen including tax) included: Sashimi of yellowtail with uni soy sauce (leftover used for yellowtail shabu-shabu), Fillet cutlet (served with ponzu sauce and egg), Yellowtail shabu-shabu in kombu broth, Pork shabu-shabu, Finished with handmade noodles from Handa in Tokushima, and sherbet. Yellowtail shabu-shabu is great this time of year. Pork shabu-shabu is also available so you can enjoy the change in flavors. Even an old man who doesn't like vegetables will eat hot pot. A delicious restaurant in Shinsaibashi that was open on New Year's Day when most other places were closed. "Haru Shinsaibashi Tei" offered a 5000 yen course meal. The menu included sashimi of yellowtail, pork fillet cutlet, steamed pork belly and cabbage mille-feuille, pork shabu-shabu in broth, cold noodles, and sherbet. The drink all-you-can option wasn't very extensive, but it did offer some variety. Everything was delicious, especially the pork which was tender and flavorful. A place worth revisiting, with great value for money.

Visited "Haru Shinsaibashi Tei," a pork shabu-shabu steaming restaurant near America-mura, with a reservation for two at noon on Sunday. Negotiated over the phone to have clam broth, which was not included in the course but I really wanted, and they made it happen. Enjoyed the Yuzu-flavored clam broth pork shabu-shabu course for 5000 yen, which included standard all-you-can-drink (90 minutes), cold yellowtail sashimi, pork fillet cutlet with homemade sweet vinegar sauce, clam, pork, seasonal vegetable platter, shredded burdock root, meatball, tofu, half-cooked noodles, and seasonal sherbet. We were led to a private room separated by curtains on the second floor, which had a decent atmosphere. Started with the standard all-you-can-drink option, but was disappointed that the beer was actually happoshu. However, the Clear Asahi was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Overall, the dishes were tasty (the clam broth was amazing!), but the final half-cooked noodles were not great. Should have chosen the clam soup instead since it was a clam course. Nevertheless, the service was good, and we had a pleasant time overall.
