[Breakfast] I usually only drink instant coffee in the morning, but on days like this, I wake up early and enjoy activities such as soaking in the hot springs, dozing off in the hot springs, so I get hungry (・ω・)♬ When I get hungry, it's only natural to eat. Looking at the pictures of the meals I ate again, it's kind of amazing, isn't it? (laughs) Anyway, the milk was delicious. And because the rice was delicious, I kept eating more side dishes. If the rice wasn't that good, my appetite would decrease. The staff at the breakfast venue were all friendly, and I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. The only disappointing thing about this trip was that I forgot to take a picture of the boss character at the Noboribetsu Stage. If it were in a VRMMO world, I wonder if that's the kind of boss you would fight against. This time, I tried to challenge it solo but couldn't reach the boss room. Next time, I want to successfully solo it (flames). For food bloggers, this might be a topic that no one understands, but this is the story of my second life trip to Noboribetsu Onsen in March 2022. This concludes the Noboribetsu Onsen trip. Thank you!

I stayed at a hotel in Hokkaido for a tour and had dinner at a buffet. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but since there were so many delicious options, I decided to enjoy my meal. The sushi was small but tasty, especially the shrimp. They also had beef, Genghis Khan (grilled mutton), seafood, and even eel rice for the finale. I was very satisfied! The soft-serve ice cream for dessert was rich and highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I used the "Dohmin Wari" discount to stay here. The room is old. The bath is nice. As for the food, there was a variety of options for dinner such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, fried skewers, ramen, Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue), kamameshi (rice cooked in a small pot), steak, seasonal limited menu, curry, Ainu cuisine, and salad. It was great to be able to grill Genghis Khan by myself. The steak, made from formed meat, was quite delicious. The sashimi selection included flounder, kanpachi, and bonito, which was quite good. The tempura was a bit disappointing, but overall, I was very satisfied! For breakfast, they offered a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I was also very satisfied with that. There were many rice menu options, and the ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) was delicious. The salad dressing was also varied. Personally, I found the gratin and pork shabu-shabu to be incredibly delicious, so I went for seconds. The amenities were quite lacking, but I thought the bath and meals were very good! They also have a shuttle bus, so if you can accept the fact that the rooms are old, I think it's a hotel full of value.

This year, we visited Noboribetsu Issui-tei with my family because the hot spring at the beginning of the year was cheap (*^^*). The hotel's customer service was very good, everyone was very friendly. In the lobby, there was a blue demon making and giving out cotton candy for free, and my niece was delighted. For dinner, we chose the half-buffet at Sakurabou. Despite there being quite a few guests, Sakurabou was completely empty! Maybe everyone went to the buffet section? Since we were the only ones there, the hostess-like lady said with a smile, "Today, you don't need to wear a mask and the children can run around as much as they want." The food was plentiful and very delicious. There were also baby chairs that could be attached to the table. I ate so much that I felt like a pregnant woman with a big belly, haha. We went to the large communal bath at Ginkyo-kan, where there was an outdoor bath. Due to the cold wave, the changing room and shower room were cold, so we entered while shivering and saying "brr brr" haha. The hairdryer was a bit weak. The room was okay, not too cold, but even with the heating on low, it was so hot that I had to open the window and ended up sweating, haha. For breakfast, we had another half-buffet at Sakurabou (*^^*), and it was empty again, haha. I ended up eating a lot again in the morning and was very satisfied because there was a lot of food and it was delicious for the price, so I was very happy (*^^*).

I visited Noboribetsu Onsen for the first time. First, I walked through Jigokudani and worked up an appetite before preparing for the evening buffet. When I arrived at the venue on the second floor, I thought I was early, but there was already a line of people with plates in hand, so I felt like I was late. I decided to make the best of it and started choosing dishes one by one. There were various dishes including pho, giving off a multicultural vibe. There were also options like kama-meshi and Genghis Khan where you could cook it yourself on a portable stove, but since I have a Genghis Khan reservation in Sapporo tomorrow, I decided to pass on those here. Overall, I thought the food was delicious, but it was a bit of a challenge as the dishes would get cold while waiting in line. Thank you for the meal.

The dinner venue was crowded and we had to wait for a few groups. The menu includes appetizers, fresh seafood, freshly fried tempura, seasonal dishes, and a variety of dishes incorporating seasonal ingredients. There are a wide range of dishes from Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, as well as salads and desserts. You can also make your own soft-serve ice cream. It was a fun buffet experience.

Dinner. A buffet style dinner is greatly appreciated. You can eat as much of your favorite foods as you like. And you can even go back for seconds! That's the great thing about buffets. This time, I really enjoyed the eggplant, squid, and shrimp tempura. They were delicious when dipped in plum salt or tempura dipping sauce. It was a wonderful dinner. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the ethnic coexistence symbol space "Upopoi" that I had been looking forward to since spring, and stayed here with breakfast and dinner buffet included. I didn't know what kind of room I would get, but I ended up with a spacious Japanese-Western style room on the mountain side. The view wasn't great, but the room was comfortable. The hot springs at the "Kohinakan" and "Ichinakan" were both nice, especially the pot bath at the Kohinakan outdoor bath. I soaked in it for nearly an hour at a slightly lower temperature and felt so relaxed. The buffet didn't have a special feeling, but it had a good variety of options. The hotel staff were working hard on COVID-19 measures, with alcohol being offered at the entrance and plenty of vinyl gloves and disinfectant alcohol available at the buffet. However, some customers didn't follow social distancing at the buffet. Everyone, please remember to keep your distance! Thank you, "Ishisuitei"!

I want to soak in a hot spring with the sulfur of Noboribetsu! It's been a while since I last visited, and I have been to Issuitei several times. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful, and they have outdoor baths where you can truly experience the famous hot springs of Noboribetsu. The hospitality is top-notch. The meals are a traditional buffet style, but there are dishes like Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and scallop rice, making it quite satisfying. It was another great bath this time.

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it was surprisingly crowded. I took a bus from Sapporo Station to Noboribetsu Onsen. The hotel was a hot spring resort hotel. The hot springs were great, keeping me warm until morning. I thought it would be less crowded due to the pandemic, but there was still a line at the dinner venue entrance. A Chinese woman was managing the line, changing my perception of Chinese people. I waited about 20 minutes to get in. The dinner buffet was okay, with the highlight being the Genghis Khan barbecue. The other dishes were forgettable. The breakfast buffet had a live demonstration of Vietnamese pho, which was surprisingly delicious. Overall, I ate a lot and left feeling satisfied.

On the second day of our first camping trip as a family, we visited the famous Noboribetsu Onsen. This was probably my second time staying at Ishizuitei, and I have occasionally used services from the Noguchi Kanko Group. The hotel is a large and reasonably priced establishment, so I didn't have high expectations for the food. However, the hot springs were lovely, and the rooftop open-air bath was particularly enjoyable. The buffet was decent overall, with the highlight being the Genghis Khan barbecue where you could cook your own meat and vegetables in a small pot. The meat was tender and delicious, especially when paired with a cold beer. I also recommend trying the Vietnamese chef's dishes and pho, which were surprisingly tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience, especially with the Genghis Khan barbecue. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was looking forward to enjoying the Noboribetsu Onsen, but unfortunately, heavy rain kept me from going out anywhere. The hot spring town didn't seem like much, so I was excited for dinner, but as expected, the food was disappointing. It was a buffet style, so I wasn't expecting high quality, but there wasn't much variety. Despite being in Hokkaido, there were only four types of seafood - shrimp, salmon, squid, and bonito tataki - and I thought to myself, "I could eat this in Osaka!" The steak was too tough to chew... not good. The cold pasta wasn't delicious either, and the yakisoba and fried chicken were average. However, the delicious items were: clam rice cooked in a pot, Genghis Khan lamb cooked on a mini grill, and ethnic cuisine. The clam rice had a nice broth from the clams and the rice was shiny and delicious. The Genghis Khan lamb was tender and tasty, and the ethnic dishes were good too. There were many foreign employees who didn't speak much Japanese, making it difficult to communicate and ask questions. Surprisingly, despite being a buffet, there was no option for seconds. The hot spring water was good though. The inn was old, but the baths were spacious and well-maintained. The room could have been cleaner though. Overall, I should have paid extra for a higher grade room.

I took a shuttle bus from Chitose Airport to Noboribetsu. Today, I am staying at Ishizuitei here. I've always wanted to visit Noboribetsu Onsen. Many famous hot spring towns don't accommodate solo travelers, but luckily Ishizuitei in Noboribetsu Onsen allows solo guests to stay. The hot spring has both outdoor and indoor baths, but the outdoor one is the best. Although you can't see the view, the temperature and faint sulfur smell are very pleasant. I soaked in the bath for over 30 minutes, it was so relaxing. For dinner, it was a buffet style. Buffets seem to be common in larger hotels. The menu was extensive, but there were not many local specialty dishes, mostly home-style dishes. They used local ingredients, but there weren't any particularly unique dishes. They also had Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and kettle rice cooked on portable stoves. The squid and sea bream sashimi were quite delicious. I tried the Genghis Khan, and it was surprisingly good. The meat was tender without any gamey taste. I also enjoyed the variety of desserts, especially the sweet red bean soup. I had a big bowl of it (*´∇`)ノ There were no special menus for breakfast either, but you can enjoy familiar dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients. Overall, the food is easy to eat without being too picky.

It is not particularly new or exceptionally beautiful, but for some reason, it is a very comfortable inn. The smiles of the staff at check-in and their efficient movements were wonderful! It can be a bit crowded when there are foreign group guests... The private baths and the large communal bath were really nice. I tried the muddy sulfur spring in the open-air bath before check-out, but the sulfur smell lingered all day... haha The quality of the hot springs is definitely top-notch!! The meal was in a private room plan, so I could relax. It was great to see so many Hokkaido ingredients used, which was much appreciated as a Tokyoite. It was delicious. I will definitely visit again! Thank you very much!

Reasonable hot spring hotel for a family New Year's party This year's year-end and New Year holiday is 10 consecutive days! Let's go on the 3rd and come back slowly on the 4th! I made a reservation early. And then... it turns out that work starts on the 4th!!! We ended up renting two cars and going together. The buffet restaurant was so-so. There were many foreigners. The highlight was the individual pot rice and individual Genghis Khan! You light the solid fuel and cook it. Grill it! All of this, including hot springs and breakfast, was just over 10,000 yen! It's cheap, isn't it? In the morning, I headed straight to Chitose Airport, leaving my family behind... Back to work!

I had curry ramen in Muroran, took the train from Muroran to Higashi-Muroran to Noboribetsu, and arrived at today's accommodation, Iwashuitei, by taxi. I strolled through the souvenir shops, soaked in a milky white outdoor bath, and then headed to the buffet as late as possible to avoid the crowds. Considering the price of the stay, I didn't have high expectations for the food, especially since it was a buffet. As expected, there were many fried and stir-fried dishes with a little bit of sashimi. The chef made freshly fried tempura and grilled meat, so I had that along with a serving of Genghis Khan. I need to rest my stomach for tomorrow. The desserts were disappointingly cheap, but that's how it goes! Thank you for the meal! Oh, by the way, the bath was long and spacious, and the winter outdoor bath was incredibly relaxing! Thank you for taking care of us!

Sweating from eating hot pot udon, need to clean up! Visited for the first time in 7 months. If you show your JAF card or Japan Spa Association card, the bathing fee of 800 yen will be discounted to 500 yen. There are two baths, and the Karibaikan without an open-air bath or jacuzzi is empty, all to ourselves! Also soaked in the other Ginkan, feeling refreshed! Had a drink, enjoyed a free massage chair - was healed both physically and mentally by the famous hot spring! Bathing 500 yen, Drink 140 yen. Thank you!

I haven't been to a hot spring for a long time, and my whole body was getting really dry, so I decided to visit for some relaxation. In the parking lot, there was a family of blue oni, and Pepper-kun welcomed me in the hotel lobby. As soon as I entered my room, I headed straight to the hot spring. They have a natural spring flowing directly into the bath, so you can enjoy the classic cloudy water of Noboribetsu. My rough skin felt as smooth as a shark's after soaking in the excellent quality spring water. After warming up, I enjoyed a half-buffet dinner at the dining room called "Sakurabou" located underground. The dining area is like a semi-private room, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The menu included octopus with vinegar miso, assorted sashimi, butter-grilled scallops, teppanyaki beef with local vegetables, and a Mont Blanc parfait, among other dishes. And on top of that, there was a buffet, so I left with a very full stomach. They had a chef preparing tempura on the spot, so you could enjoy it fresh. I ended the night with a loop of tempura and ponzu sake. It was a satisfying trip with hot springs, delicious food, and great service. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Noboribetsu Onsen is known for its abundant natural hot spring water, with a daily output of 10,000 tons and 11 different types of spring water. The Ishi-no-Yu Tei ryokan is located deep within the hot spring town and offers a popular buffet-style meal that caters to a wide range of guests. I stayed there for one night with some close friends and enjoyed the large baths with a great view, as well as the traditional milky white hot springs that Noboribetsu is known for. The buffet had a variety of dishes including sushi, tempura, and DIY Genghis Khan, which went perfectly with the drinks. We had a fulfilling evening exchanging stories and opening up about our worries.

On the third night of my trip to Hokkaido, I visited Noboribetsu. After enjoying fishing at Muroran Port, I headed to Noboribetsu Onsen. The inn I stayed at this time was Noboribetsu Sekisuitei, part of the Noguchi Kanko Group. Upon entering the building, the check-in lobby was spacious and comfortable. I was guided to my room, which was a traditional Japanese-style room and quite spacious. With some time before dinner, I took a refreshing dip in the hot spring. Feeling rejuvenated, I looked forward to dinner time. Dinner was served buffet-style, and I noticed many Asian tourists around. I ordered a highball and lemon chu-hi to start the meal. The buffet spread was impressive, with a variety of dishes including sashimi, cut steak, Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), and more. I also enjoyed making my own kamameshi (kettle rice) with customizable ingredients. After indulging in the delicious food, I returned to my room for another relaxing soak in the hot spring before calling it a night. The next morning, I woke up early and took a leisurely walk around the area, exploring the walking paths and foot baths. I even caught a glimpse of the Oyunuma pond. Breakfast was also served buffet-style, and I savored the hot freshly-made onigiri (rice balls) prepared by the chef. Overall, my stay at Noboribetsu Sekisuitei was delightful, with great food, relaxing hot springs, and beautiful surroundings.

Noboribetsu - At Ishisuitei, dinner is a buffet. The taste, portion, and quality were good, but other aspects were a bit lacking.
