I used the "Dohmin Wari" discount to stay here. The room is old. The bath is nice. As for the food, there was a variety of options for dinner such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, fried skewers, ramen, Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue), kamameshi (rice cooked in a small pot), steak, seasonal limited menu, curry, Ainu cuisine, and salad. It was great to be able to grill Genghis Khan by myself. The steak, made from formed meat, was quite delicious. The sashimi selection included flounder, kanpachi, and bonito, which was quite good. The tempura was a bit disappointing, but overall, I was very satisfied! For breakfast, they offered a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I was also very satisfied with that. There were many rice menu options, and the ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) was delicious. The salad dressing was also varied. Personally, I found the gratin and pork shabu-shabu to be incredibly delicious, so I went for seconds. The amenities were quite lacking, but I thought the bath and meals were very good! They also have a shuttle bus, so if you can accept the fact that the rooms are old, I think it's a hotel full of value.
