We made a reservation for a private room and were told we had to make it ourselves. Since we had to make it ourselves, it took longer than we expected because we were very hungry. The food was delicious. The portions felt small, so if there are three people, it's better to order two dishes each. It's nice to try different dishes when sharing with others. We ended up waiting until the last order because we were still hungry and some dishes we wanted were no longer available.

I went to a restaurant nearby because the one I wanted to go to was crowded. Even though I didn't have a reservation, they guided me to a counter seat. I cooked the monjayaki myself to get a discount, and it was delicious and fun. The tonpeiyaki had fluffy eggs, but the cabbage was raw, which was a bit disappointing. I think people who like crunchy textures would enjoy it. The yukke was delicious as always. I'm thinking of making a reservation for my next visit.

I had fun making my own Monjayaki. If you're not good at it, the staff can make it for you. There were many types of Monjayaki and the toppings were great. The alcohol was a bit pricier compared to izakayas, but the Monjayaki itself was not that expensive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and clean, and I would like to go back again.

Located a 5-minute walk from Kyobashi Station, along Route 1, is the Monja-yaki, Teppanyaki, and Izakaya restaurant, "Teppan Shokudo Tekkote." I happened to pass by the front of the restaurant when a senior colleague mentioned, "I've never tried Monja-yaki before." Intrigued, we decided to visit. The bright and clean interior, led by cute staff, guided us to a table. While you get a 100 yen discount if you cook the Monja-yaki yourself, we opted to have the staff do it for us. The staff cheerfully answered my senior colleague's questions and skillfully cooked the Monja. The "Kanefuku Menta Monja" with mentaiko, cabbage, sliced squid, and sakura shrimp in a Worcestershire sauce had a delicious aroma that whetted our appetites. Topped with melty cheese, it was a perfect combination of delicious broth, mentaiko, and cheese. The "Osaka-originated Okonomi Monja" finished with sauce and mayonnaise tasted like a soft okonomiyaki. It's a great accompaniment to drinks. Other menu items included delicious Yakisoba with uma sauce, Pork Kimchi Yaki, Oyster Butter Ponzu, and Tsurami with ginger soy sauce. For dessert, we tried the Smoked Vanilla Ice Cream, drizzled with smoked soy sauce, which gave it a delicious pudding-like flavor. Everything from the Monja-yaki to the other dishes was delicious. The service was polite and the overall experience was great. Thank you for the meal!

There are many unique variations of monjayaki. I tried monjayaki in Kyobashi, which was different from the usual, as a way to break out of the routine. I don't think it should be compared to authentic Tokyo monjayaki! So, I enjoyed it as a fun and delicious dish to accompany my drinks.

This restaurant specializes in Kansai-style monjayaki with dashi broth. I haven't been here in 6 years, but I finally revisited. I tried the tekkote-yaki, which is made with original yam and egg batter, plenty of cabbage, and flat pasta. It was fluffy and delicious, especially with the pork topping. I also ordered monjayaki, where you have to cook it yourself on a hot plate. I tried the "kanefuku" monjayaki with mentaiko and rice cake, and it was delicious. I also tried the avocado with chili dressing, which was simple but addictive. Overall, it was a bit too much for one person, so I want to come back with someone else to try more varieties of monjayaki next time. Thank you for the meal!

I couldn't find the restaurant I wanted to go to, so I searched for a delicious restaurant nearby and found this place. They had a variety of options, and everything looked delicious! I tried the Monja with Calamuch and the Buttered Potatoes, and the B-grade feeling of the Calamuch was just right! If I have the chance to come to Kyobashi again, I would definitely want to visit this place.

A teppanyaki restaurant located along the Kyobashi 1st street. The interior is beautifully designed with a wooden finish. There is also a sunken kotatsu-like space in the back, suitable for gatherings. This time, I visited for lunch and debated between the sobameshi set and okonomiyaki set. I ended up ordering the okonomiyaki set. It took a bit of time for it to be cooked, but the freshly grilled okonomiyaki was delicious.

Yui Hama: "Monja is delicious when you have three people." I was aware of this place in Kyobashi since it opened about 6 years ago, but it was my first time here. I thought the next monja would be a few years later, but it appeared at Depapuri with just lines. Yesterday's monja in Fukushima is from a Tokyo restaurant, but this place serves Kansai-style dashi creative dishes. You get a 100 yen discount if you cook it yourself. Delicious smile~! The yakisoba is of the orthodox type. Delicious smile~! The menu includes oolong tea, addictive cucumber monja, Kanefuku mentaiko, mentaiko cheese mochi, delicious sauce, and yakisoba.

I went to a Monja restaurant in Kyobashi for the first time in a while! The place has a really girly vibe with desserts and menu items. I chose Monja with mochi and cheese! They also serve Monja for lunch (you cook it yourself). I also tried the okonomiyaki, but honestly, it was just okay. My friend agreed with me. Thank you for the meal!

#Today's Lunch☀️#Teppanyaki Soba Meshi❗️October 2021❗️Today's lunch is here❗️It is a storefront facing National Route 1❗️Discovered when passing through Kyobashi by car❗️Teppanyaki & Monjayaki, wow~ In Osaka, there's even a Monjayaki store in Kyobashi... Times have changed (bitter smile) While waiting at the traffic light, I saw the lunch menu⭐️ Soba Meshi ¥750 and decided to try it❗️Oh~ The interior seems quite new, very clean❗️The staff cooking the Soba Meshi on the teppan at the counter are also very beautiful❗️Nice❤️ The Soba Meshi served had a semi-soft fried egg on top❗️Nice❤️ As someone from Kobe, where sauce culture is strong, having teppan Soba Meshi in Osaka is great❗️Of course❗️The sauce in the Kansai region is rich and delicious❗️The semi-soft egg really adds to the dish❗️Yes❗️Yes❗️It's delicious❤️ I would like to come back to try the okonomiyaki and monjayaki at night❗️It was delicious❗️Thank you for the meal❤️

I felt like having something light for lunch, so I went to tekkote. The lunch set of yakisoba and okonomiyaki came with rice and miso soup at a reasonable price, but I wanted to avoid rice and flour dishes, so I ordered them separately. The large portion was 1350 yen, so I opted for the regular size. The taste was solid! But I think this restaurant is known for its monjayaki, right? I definitely want to try that next time!

After going through a tough time globally, it was finally time for a rare dining out experience. Although Kyobashi is not as lively as before, there are still a few restaurants open here and there. I decided to visit "Teppan Shokudo Tekkote" for my first dining out experience in a while. I don't really make okonomiyaki or similar dishes at home, so I figured a specialty restaurant would be better. The restaurant is easy to spot as it faces a main street. Inside, there is plenty of seating available. Now, what should I order? The standard drink menu is quite reasonable. Of course, I have to have okonomiyaki! The classic choice is the Mentaiko Cheese Okonomiyaki, a must-have dish! The cheese melts subtly while the Mentaiko adds a nice kick. It's great that you get one free topping when you cook it yourself. Another classic choice is the Chicken Ramen. Sometimes they offer Baby Star Ramen instead at Tsukiji. I also tried the Whole Tomato Yakisoba, which looks great but the flavor is a bit mild. It could use stronger spices or a rich sauce with fresh tomatoes for a better taste. The Satsuma Chiran Chicken Tataki was delicious with a nice texture. It's a steal at 490 yen for this volume. If I ever crave okonomiyaki in Kyobashi again, I'll definitely come back here.

I suddenly felt like eating Monjayaki in Osaka, so I called Mugi in Fukushima, but they were closed! I searched and ended up at a restaurant in Kyobashi! As someone who loves flour-based dishes the most, I enjoy not only Okonomiyaki but also Monjayaki! By the way, I also love flour-based dishes like Gushayaki from Morishita in Himeji and Okan-yaki from N in Kujo, even though they are not Monjayaki! It's a 10-minute walk from Kyobashi Station! When you enter the restaurant, instead of a teppanyaki table, there is a tabletop teppan grill on each table! The staff usually cook the Monjayaki, but as a seasoned person who received lessons in Tsukishima, I decided to cook it myself!! By cooking it myself, they gave me a complimentary topping! We ordered: - Pork Kimchi Monja - Yuzu Pepper Chicken Monja - Shrimp Chili Monja - Okonomiyaki Monja - Mapo Tofu Monja - Mentaiko Cheese Monja There is a bit less cabbage, so be careful as the embankment can collapse easily, but the broth, which is the specialty of the restaurant, is delicious! Also, each dish has a different flavor, so you won't get tired of it! I finished all 6 pieces in no time! The restaurant is operated by Dealerive Co., Ltd.! Today, the owner of the group's "Beer Card" came to help, and seeing my awkward Monjayaki cooking, he helped me! The creations at that time were none other than Doraemon Monjayaki and Hello Kitty Monjayaki! This is the ultimate hospitality! Despite feeling stressed by the slow service, thanks to the helper, I had a good impression!

Hello! I'm a cheerful old man. I was born and raised in Osaka. When it comes to Osaka's specialties, we have things like takoyaki and okonomiyaki, which are flour-based dishes. I've been familiar with flour-based dishes since I was a child. In fact, I have my own takoyaki maker at home. But among flour-based dishes, there's one that isn't commonly eaten in Kansai, and that's monjayaki. The first time I saw it, I honestly thought, "What is this... looks like vomit!" Well, back in the day, there weren't many opportunities to eat monjayaki in Kansai. However, things have changed. There are now quite a few monjayaki restaurants in Osaka. This time, I visited a restaurant called "Tekkote" in Kyobashi. We used it for a party, and boy, was it delicious! And it's fun to make too. Cooking monjayaki while chatting and drinking beer. It's quite lively and fun. The prices are cheap, and the service is good. If you get the chance, I recommend giving it a try!

This is my first visit to this place. It seems quite popular as we were seated at the counter. A hot plate was placed in front of us, and we were served a starter of vegetables like bean sprouts, carrots, and mushrooms cooked in foil on the hot plate. We ordered the Plum Crystal and Okonomiyaki. We were told that if we made our own Okonomiyaki, we would get one free topping, so we decided to add tempura bits. I was a bit tipsy, so I'm not sure if I made it perfectly, but it was a tasty Okonomiyaki with a flavorful broth. Since we shared it between two people, the portion was small and we finished it quickly. If I have the chance to come back, I would like to try more dishes.

I was drawn to this restaurant by its wide variety of menu options. They offer a special deal where you can get one free topping if you make your own monjayaki, which I thought was a good deal. There are many different types of monjayaki to choose from, all of which look delicious. In addition to monjayaki, they also have a wide range of side menu items, so it might be nice to have some snacks while drinking and leisurely making monjayaki. However, the yakisoba I ordered on this day was mediocre (laughs). I was imagining something like fried noodles when I ordered yakisoba, but what came out was noodles grilled to a crispy texture, which you dip in soup like tsukemen style! It was innovative (laughs) but not great. The monjayaki, on the other hand, was incredibly delicious! However, the service from the staff was not good. There were only young staff members, and they were chatting a lot among themselves. It would be fine if they were engaging in conversation with customers, but they were chatting amongst themselves while working. Moreover, they were laughing and chatting about things like "there's no more drinks" when it came to the items customers had ordered, which made me feel uncomfortable. I think they should work on improving this aspect.

I visited a stylish restaurant in Osaka and chose to have monjayaki. The restaurant didn't feel like a typical monjayaki place. I chose mentaiko cheese, pork kimchi, and salmon butter soy sauce flavors. You get to cook it yourself with toppings like cheese, green onions, and mochi. Each dish had a strong broth that complemented the main ingredients well. The portions were relatively small, so two people could easily finish three dishes. We ended the meal with grilled rice ball ochazuke, which also had a rich broth.

The porcini and truffle okonomiyaki flavor is delicious but the portion size is a bit small. As for the tekka teppanyaki, I'm not sure if shiso is a good match. No particular comments on the sauce, batter, etc.
