Title: "Osaka Trip with Seishun 18 Ticket in January 2021 Part 4: Morning Set for only 290 yen is cheap!"
On the second day of the Osaka trip with Seishun 18 Ticket, I stopped by a Fast Food Club for breakfast on the way to the Natural History Museum in Nagai. I used a coupon from the app that gives you 100 points for an order over 100 yen. When I arrived at around 8:40 am, all the open seats were taken, so I opted for a reclining seat. I made a rookie mistake by asking the staff how long it would take for a seat to open up, similar to asking at a family restaurant. However, at Fast Food Club, there are no time restrictions, so no one knows when a seat will open up. I regained my composure and entered the restaurant.
Free Morning Set! Rating: 10 out of 10!
Drink Bar: 9 points
The drink bar had almost everything you would expect. While there were no local or specialty drinks, the selection was of high quality for a net cafe.
Soft Serve Ice Cream: 8 points
Previously, the soft serve ice cream was not available during late-night hours, but now it can be enjoyed 24 hours a day at participating stores. The basic flavor is vanilla, but you can add chocolate or caramel syrup for a different taste. I even tried sprinkling instant soup granules on it for a salty twist, which was an interesting experience.
French Fries: 7 points
These fries were once featured as "divine fries" on a TV show, but when served during the free morning set, they tend to lose their crispiness. The flavor options were limited to salt, unlike the divine butter soy flavor.
Toast: 3 points
The toast made from cheap supermarket bread left in a low-quality toaster lacked texture and flavor. However, when used to make a "French fry sandwich," it was surprisingly delicious.
Payment: The bill came to 290 yen, but with the app coupon, it was only 190 yen. With the membership points, it came down to around 186 yen. Using WAON for payment earned an additional point, bringing the total cost down to 185 yen.
Afterward, I visited the Natural History Museum, where I spent nearly three hours leisurely exploring the exhibits. By the time I finished, it was already 1:00 pm. Next, I headed back to Tennoji and made my way to the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts.
