Teppan Yarou Ura Sando-ten @ Umeda Ura Sando is a restaurant located in Umeda Ura Sando. I used it for a work gathering. It was quite lively as it was the day when #Hanshin won. Among the dishes we ordered, the must-try was this! ★ Dashimaki Ikura Overflowing with fluffy dashimaki filled with plenty of dashi, topped with a generous amount of ikura. Delicious! I had decided to try this when I came here! ★ Tonpei It was surprising how thick the meat was in this dish! Definitely try it! Other dishes were also delicious! I think it's a convenient place to go for drinks with friends. Please give it a try! #TeppanYarou #TeppanYarouUraSando-ten [Recommended Usage Scenes] ・Date ○ ・Anniversary Date △ ・Pre-dating ○ ・Multiple friends ◎ ・Girls' night out ○ ・Boys' night out ◎ ・Company drinking party ○ ・Private party × ・Gokon △ If it's 2:2 ・Alone ○ *For lunch #OsakaGourmet #UmedaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #UmedaIzakaya #OsakaGourmetClub #OhatsuTenjin #OhatsuTenjinGourmet #OhatsuTenjinUraSando #MustTryMenu #CheapAndDeliciousGourmet #MustEatFood #FoodReportGram #GourmetGirls #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #InstagrammableGourmet #InstagrammableFood #IwamiFoodReport

A while ago, I went to a famous restaurant in Osaka called Teppan Yarou with my Taiwan business partner's family. We ordered various specialty dishes and they were okay in taste. However, we ordered two servings of ikura dashi tamago (salmon roe and dashi rolled omelette), but only one serving arrived. The other serving was never brought to us, even after reminding the staff. It was a disappointing incident. #Teppan Yarou #Osaka cuisine #Osaka okonomiyaki #okonomiyaki #Ohatsu Tenjin #Ohatsu Tenjin cuisine #Kansai cuisine

During Golden Week, the restaurant was crowded! At first, we were seated near the raclette cheese station and the smell was a bit strong for me, but they kindly moved us to a different table which was great. The food was all good value for money, so I recommend ordering half portions if you're dining with a small group!

I visited for lunch. I wanted to eat okonomiyaki, but it said it would take 30 minutes, so I ordered yakisoba set meal. You can upgrade to large size for free, so I chose the large size. Yakisoba set meal, large, with extra pork. I also ordered chicken teriyaki as a side dish (100 yen). Thank you for the meal.

It was a unique izakaya with a distinctive menu lineup and an Osaka-like atmosphere. Each dish was stylish and elaborate. However, the okonomiyaki we ordered was a bit difficult to eat and left a somewhat heavy impression. Next time, I will try a different kind of okonomiyaki.

At a teppanyaki restaurant located on the back street of Ohatsu Tenjin Shrine, the chef, Mr. Doi, is a well-known figure who used to be an actor before transitioning into the food and beverage industry. He often appears on TV shows and in Kansai city magazines like meets. The restaurant is popular among celebrities and music industry professionals, with even big names like Cooler Shaker making appearances. Signature dishes include Paella, Uni with Spinach, Okonomiyaki with Raclette Cheese, and the famous Teppan Yaro.

In a back alley off Omotesando, I was treated to a meal by a well-connected person with a wide network. We decided to stop by the restaurant of the manager we happened to meet earlier. The manager used to be an actor and the restaurant is a well-known spot in Ura Namba, with various signatures from famous visitors displayed all around. Even though we just met, the manager remembered my name! A true professional. As many of us were already full, we only ordered a little bit of food. The Tonpeiyaki (690 yen) was a first for me, with braised pork belly inside. As a fan of braised pork, I was delighted! The fluffy egg, along with the sweet and tangy sauce and mayonnaise, was a perfect combination. The Paime (580 yen) was a unique dish - a potato salad and cheese wrapped in okonomiyaki batter. The unexpected combination was a hit in terms of texture and flavor, truly a specialty of the restaurant. While teppanyaki cooking involves cutting ingredients and grilling them on an iron plate, the possibilities are endless, allowing each restaurant to showcase its own uniqueness. The restaurant also had a nostalgic touch with old-fashioned request sheets for background music and small silver plates for serving. The friendly yet chaotic service, combined with the retro elements, may not appeal to everyone, but I personally enjoyed the experience. I look forward to trying more dishes at this restaurant next time. [Highlights of this visit] - Enjoying teppanyaki dishes with a common touch.

"Teppan Yarou is a must-visit for truck enthusiasts! I love decorating trucks and have been back several times. Their okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and tonpei-yaki with braised pork inside are amazing! I also recommend the meat-sucking tonpei-yaki set. I have introduced many friends to this place. The image shows the meat-sucking and tonpei-yaki set."

I stopped by a popular restaurant where many famous people also visit. The owner was very friendly and the teppanyaki dishes were all delicious. I wished I could have stayed longer, but I had to head home. I will definitely visit again when I go to Umeda in Osaka!

Welcome.---------- June 2022 ----------Located in a deep corner of the back approach area, this place feels like a popular teppanyaki restaurant. With counter, table, and terrace seating options, the entrance welcomes you with a message that is both embarrassing and delightful. You can choose from a variety of dishes, including "Octopus Ceviche," "Broccoli with Anchovy Mayo," "Steamed Chicken with Chives," and "Octopus Skewers." The octopus legs, simmered in broth, are tender and flavorful. The "Seared Liver" is generously topped with green onions and salt. The "Harami Tataki" features tender harami beef lightly cooked with ponzu sauce for a refreshing taste. A must-try is the "Uni Horen," a dish of uni and butter sautéed with Horenso spinach, offering a rich and flavorful combination. The "Assorted Snacks in Jars" caught my attention, so I ordered a couple of them. The "Tomato Nanban" offers juicy tomatoes with a punchy finish. The "Clam and Bamboo Shoot Kimchi" is a seasonal dish with clams and bamboo shoots in a garlic chive kimchi flavor that is not too spicy. The "Tonpei" is a specialty dish with fluffy egg and tender pork simmered inside. The "Iron Plate Yaro" is a unique take on okonomiyaki, topped with raclette cheese for a rich and flavorful twist. The "Water Eggplant" features fresh and crispy eggplant seasoned with soy sauce. The "Grilled Edamame" has a hint of garlic, making it a great appetizer. This trip was my first experience with teppanyaki cuisine, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors, especially the "Chef's Special of the Day."

Umeda Area (Urasando Street) A shop in Umeda Takes about 15 minutes from JR Osaka Station, or 5 minutes from Higashi-Umeda Station (at the end of the Urasando Street behind Ohatsu Tenjin). Prices range from 3000 to 4000 yen (with appetizers included - see image). This time, we tried: - Tonpei-yaki 748 yen - Paine 638 yen - Corn Salt Chijimi 550 yen - Zuri Confit 418 yen. The Tonpei-yaki was surprisingly good, with tender pork belly inside the egg. It's quite rich, so better for when you're really hungry. The Paine, a cheesy potato salad wrapped in pie crust, was also delicious. Corn lovers should try the Corn Salt Chijimi. The Zuri Confit was a tasty small dish. Highly recommend the Tonpei-yaki and Paine (recommended by the staff and really tasty).

This is a restaurant located about a 5-6 minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station in the Ohatsu Tenjin shopping street (back approach). I visited for a solo lunch on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Set Meal for 980 yen (tax included). It arrived in about 10 minutes. You can add 100 yen for a side dish of chewy yakisoba. The thick noodles in the sauce yakisoba can be chosen in sizes S (150g), M (200g), L (300g) for free, and this time I chose M size. The yakisoba is eaten by dipping it in a raw egg. The chicken teriyaki that I added for 100 yen was also served hot and delicious. I think this is a good deal for the price. However, I was really full. Thank you for the meal. I would like to revisit this restaurant soon.

Teppan Yarou! (Osaka Kita Ward, Ohatsu Tenjin Street) Monday. It's still cold! The season is not quite cold yet, with temperatures rising to about 15 degrees during the day, so I headed to Umeda and towards Sonezaki. I was drawn to a sign with the name "Urasando" attached to an alley entrance next to an old pet shop, and decided to check out a restaurant called "Teppan Yarou!" There are 5 set menu options. The main dish is yakisoba dipped in raw egg and eaten sukiyaki style, served with rice, miso soup, and pickles, as well as 4 set menu options that come with yakisoba and a side dish. All of them looked appealing, but I chose the chicken. You can choose the amount of noodles, and I impulsively ordered the "L=300g" size. The fact that "S" is the normal size is nice. The yakisoba set arrived first, followed by the chicken teriyaki. Both the yakisoba and chicken teriyaki were main dish quality! The yakisoba used thick and chewy noodles, mixed with pork, cabbage, tenkasu, and red pickled ginger. The nostalgic sauce flavor was satisfying on its own, but when dipped in raw egg, it opened up a whole new world. The chicken teriyaki, on the other hand, had tender chicken thigh meat with a sweet and savory sauce, complemented by cabbage. I felt like I could eat endless amounts of rice, and it was dangerously good. It's been a while since I had such a satisfying lunch that made me feel like I was burning calories while eating. This is definitely addictive.

At a dining street facing east from Ohatsu Tenjin Street, there are various restaurants creating a lively and fun atmosphere. Intrigued by the vibe, I visited for the first time and tried the unique tonpei-yaki with braised pork. There were also street food options available that day, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Hello there. A popular restaurant from Urnanba has unexpectedly opened in Umeda, and it's located in the backstreet. You can find a famous restaurant from Minami right in front of you. It's newly opened, so you can still easily get in. The menu is similar to the one in Minami. Let's start with a toast without carbs. They serve a complimentary appetizer, Painé, which is always reliable. The service style seems to be the same as in Minami. I had Tonpei and used Apple Pay, so I had to leave early that day. I look forward to visiting again at a more leisurely pace next time. Thank you for the meal. Well then, see you later.

"Tenpan Yarou" is a popular teppanyaki restaurant in Ura-Namba, known for its skilled chefs. They have finally opened their long-awaited second branch in Oyafukodori, marking their 10th year in business. The new location features both table seating and a standing bar area, offering their signature dishes as well as limited-time menu items. We tried their new dish, which is okonomiyaki topped with salsa sauce and hot raclette cheese. Another must-try item is the "Paine," a unique dish where potato salad and cheese are wrapped in okonomiyaki batter. The playful use of the term "woman's milk" on the menu adds to the fun atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, "Tenpan Yarou" is a welcoming place where even first-time visitors can enjoy a delicious meal.

A new shop opened on the back approach to Ohatsu Tenjin. It was originally a branch of a popular shop in Back Namba. The place was crowded here as well. It's a teppanyaki restaurant, but there is no teppan grill at each table. I started with a beer. The tumbler was a bit small, which was disappointing. The first dish that came out was Uni Bucket. It looked good and tasted as expected, like uni. However, it felt like something was missing. The specialty, Raclette, was honestly unnecessary. The Raclette wasn't utilized at all. Perhaps it was due to the lukewarm temperature, but the cheese just plopped down without integrating into the dish or enhancing the flavor. It was quite disappointing. Maybe they failed because they just opened? It was completely different from the simple home-cooked Raclette you would have in Switzerland. The regular Raclette dish is definitely tastier. It felt like they missed out on something. What a waste. Thank you for the meal.

"I was invited to go out for drinks and brought to this restaurant by a friend. It's called "Teppan Yarou" and it recently opened in the back streets of Higashi Umeda. It's been a while since I had teppanyaki! My friend made a reservation so we were able to get in easily, but the place was constantly busy with customers, showing how popular it is.
We ordered some dishes and made a toast. The appetizer was edamame. We also had a salmon and watercress salad, which was fresh and had a generous amount of salmon. The thick and fluffy Tonpei-yaki, a specialty dish, was delicious with its pork wrapped in egg and topped with sauce and mayonnaise. It went perfectly with alcohol, but also tempted me to eat more rice!
We also tried the Stamina Yaki, a stir-fry dish with cabbage and pork. It had a strong salt and pepper flavor and was enjoyable. For mushroom lovers like me, the Grilled Shiitake with Porcini Mushroom sauce was a must-try. It was incredibly delicious!
Overall, the food was great and the staff recommended the Raclette cheese dish, which I would like to try next time. I highly recommend this place!"

The restaurant opened in February 2020. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a bar but is calm. Grilled octopus skewers seem to be a recommended dish. The unique sign outside the restaurant catches the eye, where you can casually enjoy teppanyaki. The lively interior is perfect for chatting while enjoying the delicious hot teppanyaki and tonpei-yaki. It's a great place for gatherings with close friends or for a meal after work.
