On the second day of my trip, despite feeling unwell the day before, I finally went to eat sushi as I had been longing for. I knew it would be quite crowded, so I arrived at the restaurant just before the opening at 11 am, only to find people already lining up. I couldn't tell which group I was in, but there was a sign saying something like "No name sign on the aisle/window of the restaurant," so I sat on a chair and waited. Since it was just before opening, I was among the first group to be seated. I believe Hanataro is a conveyor belt sushi chain store, right? There's one near my house too. But here, they told me to order everything through the touch panel as the plates weren't rotating. Maybe because of the influence of the coronavirus? I had octopus something (I forgot the name), scallop, steamed crab, salmon roe, overflowing treasure roll, and salmon miso soup, among others. I think I had a couple more, but I can't remember... because the scallop and overflowing treasure roll were just too delicious!!! The scallop was thick, tender, sweet, and amazing. The overflowing roll had sea urchin, negitoro, ikura, and more overflowing, giving it a satisfying bite. The miso soup was full of ingredients, with a whole piece of salmon, and the broth was rich. The authentic restaurant experience is truly different. The freshness and sweetness of the ingredients make a difference. The scallop at 580 yen per piece may be a bit pricey, but I was still satisfied. I want to eat it again... It's worth the wait in line. The best time is right after opening. Thank you for the meal.
