Mega beer for 699 yen, Mega highball for 599 yen, Roast beef yukke-style for 699 yen. The roast beef is served with a generous amount of rich sauce and crunchy texture, topped with a large serving of spicy eating chili oil. Island chili pepper dumplings for 299 yen, with a strong spicy flavor that pairs well with drinks. Chicken thigh skewer (sweet and savory sauce) for 99 yen, gizzard skewer (special spice) for 99 yen, lotus root cheese chips skewer for 149 yen, tomato cheese bake skewer for 199 yen, and shiitake mushroom stuffed with meat skewer for 199 yen. The iron plate skewer series offers great value for money. The chicken thigh skewer is well-seasoned and thick. The gizzard skewer has a unique spice seasoning that may be unconventional but delicious. The lotus root cheese chips skewer and tomato cheese bake skewer have a strong and stable cheese flavor. The shiitake mushroom stuffed with meat skewer is a well-armed dish that eliminates any dislike for mushrooms. It may be a good choice for those who are not fond of vegetables.

During my student days, I used to occasionally rely on Chabana-san☆OMM Building for meals. It's conveniently open even on holidays. They had great set menus, but this time I decided to order a la carte! My favorite at Chabana is dishes with Kujo negi (a type of green onion) and tororo (grated yam), which are healthy and delicious. Since they operate with fewer staff on holidays, it can get a bit hectic, but overall a good experience.

Today's lunch was at the OMM Building in Temmabashi, which I visited for the first time in three years. Since I was in Osaka, I felt like having okonomiyaki set meal, so I went to Chabana located in the basement of OMM Building. I checked the menu at the entrance, sat at a table inside, and ordered the okonomiyaki pork set meal. The okonomiyaki pork set meal that was served had plenty of sauce and had quite a powerful impact. When I put mayonnaise on this large pork okonomiyaki and ate it, I realized that Kansai-style okonomiyaki is indeed delicious. The fluffy okonomiyaki had a delicious broth in the batter as well. Surprisingly, this okonomiyaki also paired well with rice. Thank you for the meal.

On the 1st of May (Sunday), I went to the morning market at Oki Minato in Yaginoya to buy dinner. I bought firefly squid and seafood rolled sushi. I decided to have lunch inside the OMM building since there was a light drizzle. It was my first time in a while having "okonomiyaki". We arrived at the okonomiyaki chain store before noon. They offered a variety of menu items such as okonomiyaki, kushikatsu, and teppanyaki. We shared the "beef tendon yakisoba" (890 yen) and each ordered the "butatama" (780 yen). First, the beef tendon yakisoba arrived with a topping of onsen egg. The medium noodles blended well with the sauce, and it was delicious when mixed with the egg yolk. The sweetly cooked beef tendon was also excellent. Next was the "butatama". You can add mayonnaise and seaweed yourself. It was decent... I actually wanted some hot sake... Thank you for the meal.

January 20, 2022, Thursday. Okonomiyaki set meal for ¥850 - Kansai specialty set meal for the second time (^ ^) Following Awaza, this time at Temma Bridge. Instead of thinking about carbohydrates x2, think of it as a sauce-flavored side dish. Let's dig in. Starting with cabbage to slightly reduce guilt! The fluffy okonomiyaki is satisfying on its own, but with a side of rice... Would it be better with miso soup? When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Finished the rice, enjoyed it deliciously. Bon appétit!

It's been a while since my last visit. I had the usual all-you-can-eat fried chicken lunch, which never disappoints. I was surprised to see that you can now order a mega portion of rice. The size of the fried chicken pieces has decreased by about two sizes compared to before, making it easier to eat. When they were bigger, the large pieces were exciting and delicious, but took longer to eat. You can now add tartar sauce or grated ponzu for an additional fee. Plus, if you become LINE friends, you get a 50 yen discount until December 31st. There have been some changes, but I'm happy that they still offer the hot and crispy all-you-can-eat fried chicken. Thank you for the meal.

In the vicinity of Temmabashi, during lunchtime, I came across a sign advertising all-you-can-eat fried chicken. While fried chicken alone may not be the most appealing lunch option, the magic words "all-you-can-eat" caught my attention. I decided to give the fried chicken challenge a try. The lunch menu also included okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and rice sets, loaded with carbohydrates. The fried chicken took some time to be served, as it was freshly fried upon ordering. The first serving included rice, miso soup, and four pieces of fried chicken, with some pieces being as big as tennis balls. I started with a salad to get some fiber and then dove into the fried chicken. My strategy was to finish the first serving before feeling too full. Although one piece was large, I managed to finish the first serving. I ordered an additional four pieces for the second round, which were promptly served. These pieces were a more manageable size. I enjoyed the second round while having some rice. In total, I had eight pieces of fried chicken. I managed to eat all but two pieces, trying different toppings like mayo and seaweed towards the end. Overall, it was a fun experience.

After finishing work, even though work never seems to end, it's the confusing start of December. On Monday after the busy weekend, my stomach is growling, so off to OMM Building we go! Normally, I wouldn't go this far for lunch, but today I'm feeling adventurous and up for the challenge of all-you-can-eat fried chicken at "Chabana Temma Bridge OMM Building Store"! ⭐︎
Fried Chicken Set ¥780
The fried chicken is lightly seasoned with a ginger flavor. When you bite into it, you hear a satisfying crunch. The crispy coating on the juicy and tender chicken is a delightful contrast. The low salt content allows the natural juiciness of the chicken to shine through. You can have all the extra fried chicken you want, just let them know. The additional fried chicken may have a bit more skin, but it still pairs well with beer. After filling up my stomach, thanks for the meal! Next time, I might try the beef tongue set! 😉

The menu was surprisingly extensive, although there was no tomato or avocado okonomiyaki. By the way, I really like tomato okonomiyaki. The dish that was served had the words "Kyochabana" on it. It seems to be a related store to the nearby Kyochabana that was having a summer festival. The pork okonomiyaki was 780 yen with a bit of ginger, cabbage, and sweet sauce. The pork was delicious and crispy. The batter was soft and good. The burnt soy sauce and salted egg okonomiyaki was 890 yen with green onions instead of pickled vegetables. It had a rich and delicious flavor with the use of oyster soy sauce as mentioned on the menu. The green onions were not overpowering, the batter was fluffy, and it seemed to have tempura crumbs in it. There was ginger, but not as strong as before. The mayonnaise was also good.

Located on the 2nd basement floor of the Temmabashi OMM Building, this okonomiyaki chain is spacious and has a clean interior. The atmosphere is welcoming even for solo diners. I ordered the "Pork Yakisoba Set Meal" from the lunch menu (tax included 850 yen). The set includes rice (with free extra serving), miso soup, and salad. You can choose between sauce or salt for the yakisoba. The thick noodles yakisoba had a satisfying texture, with plenty of pork belly and cabbage as toppings. It was delicious and offered good value for the price. They serve the yakisoba on a hot plate, so it stays hot until the last bite. On a side note, I was impressed by the quality of the disposable oshibori (wet towel) they provide at this restaurant - it was large and made of sturdy fabric.

This restaurant was open without me noticing. It used to be a okonomiyaki restaurant, so I didn't realize it had changed. I found it while wandering around the basement of the OMM building for a late lunch. They had a lunch special until 3pm. I sat at a table and saw that they offered an all-you-can-eat option for 780 yen (tax included). Even though it's a teppanyaki restaurant, I decided to go with the chicken karaage set meal. When I ordered, they asked me how much rice I wanted, and I chose a large portion. The food arrived shortly after - a hearty set meal with about 6 pieces of chicken karaage. They were juicy and delicious, but hot so I had to be careful not to burn myself. The macaroni salad on the side was lackluster. The large portion of rice was just right - any more and it would have been too much. I decided to get a refill of the chicken karaage, ordering 3 more pieces. They came out quickly and were served hot. I ended up getting a second refill because it was so good. Maybe it was past the lunch rush at 1pm, but the staff's smiles and service were excellent. I was very satisfied with my lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the okonomiyaki restaurant "Chabana Temmabashi OMM Building" located directly connected to Keihan Temmabashi Station for lunch. I tried the Butatama set meal, which consists of okonomiyaki, rice, and miso soup, a common lunch option in Kansai. The okonomiyaki had a fluffy texture, but something felt lacking. It was topped with fluffy grated yam and egg, but it was just okay, not exceptional. It seems that this restaurant is not related to Chabana, as there was no tomato menu and a la carte options were not available for lunch. The usability was not to my liking, but this is just my personal opinion, so please try it for yourself and see. Thank you for the meal.

It seems like a newly opened restaurant on November 29th. In addition to okonomiyaki and yakisoba, there were also plenty of other menu items such as kushikatsu and izakaya dishes. The yakisoba tasted a bit bland despite its rich appearance, while the kushikatsu sauce was quite strong. The interior of the store had a slightly renovated feel from the previous okonomiyaki shop that was there. One concern is that the price of draft beer is set more than 100 yen higher than the local market price. With a wide variety of izakaya dishes available, it may be difficult to visit frequently if the draft beer price remains high. We hope for a reduction in the price of draft beer. #Okonomiyaki Chabana #Chabana #Okonomiyaki #OMM #Underground Mall #Izakaya #Temmabashi #Osaka Exploration #Osaka Gourmet

I visited "Chabana Temma OMM Store" for the first time, located on the B2 floor of the OMM Building directly connected to the Keihan Temmabashi Station. I ordered the yakisoba pork set from the speed menu and was asked if waiting for about 10 minutes was okay. The noodles were thick and I liked them, but the sauce was average. The cabbage and pork were also average. The miso soup was a bit lukewarm, I prefer it warmer. The staff were energetic as the store had just opened. I hope the operation and taste of the dishes improve in the future. Thank you for the meal.

On a holiday evening, I placed my first order with Uber Eats. I was in the mood for okonomiyaki and came across a restaurant with the slogan "Established in 1976, evolving okonomiyaki". The prices were reasonable, so I decided to order two items: the classic Butatama for 1090 yen and the popular No. 3 Mix Sauce Yakisoba for 1290 yen. The Butatama looked small at first, but it was packed with pork belly and had a satisfying texture. The sauce had a nice flavor with bonito flakes and seaweed. For dinner, the Butatama alone would have been enough, but I couldn't resist trying the Mix Sauce Yakisoba. It was tasty, but a bit on the pricey side. Next time, I'll try one of their more innovative dishes. The total bill came to 2380 yen with a service charge of 238 yen. The delivery fee of 200 yen was waived with an Uber Pass. With a 300 yen discount coupon, the final bill was 2318 yen.
