Just a 2-minute walk from Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Line, there is a company cafeteria on the 4th floor of the Nakanoshima Mitsui Building. The interior is so stylish that you wouldn't think it's a cafeteria. It's open to the public and my colleague took me there. Today's special was Mapo Tofu (¥760) with a unique presentation - a plate full of salad and Mapo Tofu. The tofu in the Mapo Tofu was firm cotton tofu with a strong, authentic flavor and you could really taste the minced meat. It was a delicious lunch. In addition to the daily specials, they also have a variety of menu items like udon and pasta. You can bring your own bento and eat it inside, enjoying a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. It was a fantastic cafeteria experience. Thank you for the meal.

We used it as a group. The colorful dishes were delicious. Although there are no photos, the desserts were also delicious! In particular, the pineapple was sweet and tasty...! There was also an all-you-can-drink option!

Located near Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Subway Line, on the 4th floor of the Nakanoshima Mitsui Building in the Nakanoshima office district, this cafeteria-style restaurant is open to both office workers and the general public. There is no large sign outside, so it may appear to be a company cafeteria, but anyone can freely use it. You pick up a tray at the entrance, choose your meal through self-service, scan your tray at the payment machine after eating, and make a cashless payment with a transportation IC card or similar. This system is very efficient and convenient during busy lunch times. While the food may not be exceptional, the taste and portion size are satisfying. It offers the comforting taste of a traditional set meal restaurant.

Last year, we did a series on GoTo Government Cafeterias, and this will be a sequel focusing on cafeterias in prefectural offices, city halls, etc., as well as hospital cafeterias. We will also include what can be called "student cafeterias" in this series. It may seem easy for anyone to do, but it's actually quite challenging, which is typical of me. This will be a wide-ranging project. In this installment of GoTo Government Cafeterias, we will be visiting "CUIMOTTE" on the 4th floor of the Nakanoshima Mitsui Building in Osaka. This cafeteria serves lunch for employees, and on this day, the daily lunch special is Pork Cutlet and Fried Eggplant for 650 yen.

In Osaka city... I went to see the concert of "Diana Krall" at the Festival Hall~! It was her first time performing in Japan in 3 years, so I got my tickets as soon as they were released. On the day of the concert, I enjoyed the live show from the front row. Of course, I didn't forget to include some foodie activities before and after the concert. The first place I'm posting about is this restaurant!! It's called "CUIMOTTE NAKANOSHIMA." I visited this place before others because no one has written a review yet. I visited on a weekday morning around 8:30. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the Nakanoshima Mitsui Building. I walked there from a nearby hotel where I was staying. The streets were quite crowded with office workers rushing to work. When I arrived at the restaurant, I found out they also serve breakfast, with a drink and half a toast included. The interior of the restaurant has a large seating capacity of 400. It was quite empty in the morning, but I'm sure it gets busy during lunchtime. I ordered at the cafe counter: "Cafe Latte @300," "Mini Salad @100," "Boiled Egg @50," "Banana 1 piece @50." After paying, I sat at a table overlooking the Tosabori River. The cafe latte had a cute rabbit design and tasted great! The mini salad with French dressing was delicious. The boiled egg was hard-boiled. Overall, this set with the view for just one coin was unbeatable. If you get the chance, definitely give it a try. Thank you for the meal. 2019.11 Unrated on Tabelog.

Delicious food, excellent value for money, and the staff's service is fantastic, nothing to complain about!! I have used this place a few times since using it for an event at Nakano Island University at night. The lunch menu is varied, from set meals to steaks to just salads, and I never get tired of it no matter how many times I go. Personally, I recommend the "Shokado Bento 780 yen" where you can enjoy both A and B set meals ⭐️ Payment is cashless (Suica, PiTaPa, prepaid cards accepted) so there is no waiting, and there are library corners and cafe spaces ☕️ in the building, which makes me envious. I was a little confused at the payment and when ordering at the cafe, the staff kindly helped me out, which I really appreciated ✨ There are waiting areas on the 2nd and 1st floors, which I found surprising as buildings these days are evolving. It may be a bit hard to find inside the building, but I highly recommend it ☺️
