This day, I used it for a gathering of colleagues in the same industry for the first time in three years. There was a band playing oldies music, and everyone was enjoying delicious food and drinks from Japan Airlines.

I entered Hotel Nikko Fukuoka to assist with a customer event. I had some leftover food from the customer's standing party. I have been to various places like hot spring hotels for dinner buffets and business hotels for breakfast buffets, but no matter how luxurious they were, the taste was predictable. However, at Hotel Nikko, I encountered new flavors that I had never imagined. It may sound cliché, but everything I ate was delicious. It was a privilege of being a salaryman.

Tomorrow, it seems that both the Shinkansen and airplanes will be suspended due to the typhoon, so I evacuated to Fukuoka. I had a late morning and went to a hotel for a breakfast buffet. There were various menu items lined up, almost like a lunch spread. The chef personally made omelets in front of us (mentaiko cheese and takana cheese), which were very delicious. He said he made around 120 omelets this morning. It was a very satisfying meal to start the day.

I had the course meal and it was perfect in taste and appearance (^ー^) The coffee at the end was also delicious. I don't think I can afford it though, haha (T∀T) Each dish was really tasty (^ー^) I would love to go back again.

It was a nice hotel... I chose Japanese breakfast and was satisfied with the quality. They also have a high-level bar. The room was okay, nothing special. There was no particular upgrade. I liked the service of the staff.

Today, I visited Hotel Nikko Fukuoka, located right in front of Hakata Station in Fukuoka City. The lobby was decorated with a large Christmas tree, creating a festive atmosphere. I decided to stay at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka after a long time, as I usually stay at the neighboring Royal Park Hotel. For breakfast, I had the option of choosing between the buffet restaurant "Serena" on the 2nd floor or the "Benkei" restaurant, which offers a mix of Western and Japanese dishes. The dinner buffet from December 3rd to January 29th, 2023, focused on roast beef, is a great deal and I plan to check it out if I have time. I opted for the Serena buffet breakfast, which starts at 6:30 am, catering to early risers. As a guest, I received a complimentary drink voucher for Serena or Benkei and a morning newspaper. The service at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka was impeccable, with a large staff and banquet facilities comparable to those in Tokyo and Osaka. The Serena breakfast buffet had a wide selection of dishes, including Fukuoka's famous mentaiko, although I wished they had the mentaiko from the Uminoie brand. The dessert featured Fukuoka's signature pudding from Munakata, which was a nice touch. The curry served for breakfast was not the chunky type, but it was still satisfying. The coffee cups provided for takeaway were sturdy and durable, which impressed me. Overall, my stay at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka was comfortable and satisfying, and I look forward to visiting again. Located a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station, this long-established hotel boasts a convenient location directly connected to the station underground. I once had an experience of stopping at Hakata Station to store my luggage in a coin locker and explore the local cuisine and sights before heading to the next town. However, as it was a holiday, all the coin lockers were occupied, which left a bit of a trauma. Since then, I have come to prefer staying at a hotel near the station like this one in Hakata. The front desk service is reliable, with courteous greetings and farewells. The hotel houses 8 restaurants, and I had breakfast at the Japanese restaurant "Benkei," which was decent. I also enjoyed a welcome drink at the lounge and visited the tea & cocktail lounge. I stayed in room 1148, a 35㎡ Luxury Twin room that had been renovated, offering a clean and spacious environment. While the room size was adequate, the bathroom felt a bit outdated, with only a bathtub and a combined toilet. This setup gave off an old-fashioned impression, especially considering that even budget hotels nowadays have shower-equipped bathrooms. I believe that rooms in the Luxury Twin category or higher should have updated bathroom facilities. Despite this, the hotel's prime location, excellent service, and reasonable pricing are commendable. I believe that those new to staying at hotels or those who prioritize service will be highly satisfied.

First visit. I used it for a company social gathering. It's a buffet. The sushi was okay. The katsu sandwich was good, but the sauce was lacking. The carbonara was average. The cheese fondue was great, especially the mixing part. The roasted lamb? Delicious. It wasn't too fatty and made me feel like a noble. The butter chicken curry was quite tasty. I wish I could have had some alcohol if I wasn't driving. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The roasted lamb was everyone's favorite.

At 8:30 pm on August 18, 2022, about 20 people visited the hotel in Hakata after being invited by a business partner. I am grateful for the company's generous treatment, with no transportation or accommodation expenses. It was my first visit to Hotel Nikko, which is not found in Fukuyama! Indeed, hotels with stars are different. The staff's service was excellent, and the food was delicious from appetizers to desserts. The wine pairing was also delicious. I cannot comment on the price, but the quality and cost-effectiveness are outstanding. Every dish was delicious, especially the fish omelet and the vegetable and sauce in the meat dish were exquisite. I don't think I will be able to visit personally again, but it was a good memory that will be a source of inspiration for the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I returned from a business trip and went straight to a meeting at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka. It had been a while since I last visited. I ordered a coffee and had a productive meeting. The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Having a meeting at a hotel once in a while is nice. Thank you for the meal♪

This time, I used the lounge on the first floor for a work meeting! The atmosphere was good and the service was also nice. However, the price is a bit high, even for just a coffee at 1,000 yen. The taste is delicious, and you can have a leisurely meeting, so I would like to use it again!

It's been a while since I visited with a friend who requested it. Afternoon tea at a hotel near Hakata Station. I often use JAL Fukuoka because it's close to Hakata Station. At this Afternoon Tea, you can choose from 2 types of drinks, and the tea comes in a teapot, so you can enjoy plenty of it. I selected a flavored tea that can be enjoyed straight. The first cup is poured by the staff. As I enjoyed the tea, the Afternoon Tea stand was brought to me. The Jill Stuart tableware is cute. Due to the pandemic, each person gets their own stand, which is nice. The content changes regularly, but the bottom tier is savory, the second tier is scones and Danish pastries, and the top tier is seasonal fruits and cakes. I started with the savory items, such as smoked salmon and marinated dishes. Oh, they would go well with wine, haha. You can also order wine, but I passed on it today. It goes well with the refreshing tea. The scones come with clotted cream and chocolate spread. The scones are a bit difficult to cut, but I enjoy changing the cream with each bite. The chocolate croissant is full of butter and crumbly like a pie, but it's a sign of its deliciousness, so I don't mind the mess, haha. However, I did ask for a plate change after this and moved on to the next items. I chose a tea blend that goes well with milk for the second cup. The milk is properly warmed, and the cup is changed to a new one. Ah, it's so elegant, haha. The fruits, chocolate, and cakes are small but carefully made and delicious. It's a reasonably priced Afternoon Tea at a Fukuoka hotel, and with this content, it's quite satisfying. It would be even better if there were a bit more savory items. I had a relaxing time after a long time. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

There was a unified color scheme, creating a non-routine experience with relatively gentle textures. Located right near Hakata Station! The hotel has a great location and the amenities are from TALGO, which I think are good for the skin (probably the same for other Nikko hotels). For breakfast, you can choose between Selena's Western buffet and Benkei's Japanese set meal (Fukuoka cuisine or porridge), both of which include mentaiko. I found the satisfaction level to be higher with Benkei's meal.

I had an early lunch, so I decided to have tea at the Tea Lounge at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka. I sat near the entrance. Around me, there were people having work meetings and typing on their laptops. It's a pretty relaxing space. I ordered a Savarin and coffee set. I love Savarin, so whenever I see it on the menu, I can't resist ordering it. It was a bit sweet, but delicious with plenty of liqueur.

Located along Oohaku Street extending to the right from Hakata Station's Hakata Exit, Hotel Nikko stands with a dignified presence almost opposite to Nishi-Nippon City Bank. It is a good choice for a discreet meeting as it is relatively close to the station and not crowded like the station building.

It's an annual tradition in January 2019... meeting with the famous black pork sandwich! Everyone knows how delicious this sandwich is. So, many people look forward to it, and as expected, there was a line in front of the booth. But no need to rush, you can still enjoy it at your own pace. The crispy black pork cutlet is thick and satisfying to eat! It's just so delicious. The meat is juicy and the right amount of fat enhances the flavor. Eating this sandwich is pure happiness. Every year, I look forward to the black pork cutlet sandwich!

There was a company year-end party at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka. I mistakenly went to ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka, but the staff kindly guided me to the right place. This is my second year-end party at a new workplace. At my previous job, we had the party at T-Club Hotel in Yakuin, where the food was average and the beer was warm. But as expected from Hotel Nikko, the food was delicious and the beer was ice-cold. Last year, we had mapo tofu and smoked salmon, which went well with the beer. However, this year, while the food tasted good, there was less variety and quantity. Not many people were eating or drinking, so I felt a bit out of place enjoying the food and drinks alone. The standout dish this year was the sushi. Last year's sushi was disappointing, but this year the amberjack was fatty, the scallops were sweet, and the tuna had a rich flavor. The salmon was trout salmon, but it was tastier than last year. I wonder what next year's party will be like. I hope they bring back the smoked salmon and mapo tofu.

I received a sudden contact from a friend I hadn't seen in a while, and luckily I was able to make a reservation at Serena on the same day in the morning. From October, they have been holding the "Kyushu Fair - Autumn in Kyushu" where dishes and desserts made with ingredients from the 7 prefectures of Kyushu, as well as Kyushu sake, are available. The menu included dishes such as bonito tataki, miso-glazed eggplant, chicken nanban, fried chicken, grilled chicken with yuzu pepper, lemon steak, dago soup, Goto udon, steamed pork, matsutake chawanmushi, ham made from Itojima pork, and sea bream ochazuke, among others, with a focus on Japanese cuisine. All the dishes were delicious, and since it was a buffet, I even had seconds of the matsutake chawanmushi. I added the all-you-can-drink alcohol option for 1600 yen, so I enjoyed sparkling wine and beer while eating Kyushu cuisine. Soft drinks such as oolong tea, yuzu drink, and orange juice were also all-you-can-drink, so it was nice to be able to drink soft drinks in between alcohol to prevent getting too drunk. For dessert after the meal, there were classic shortcakes, tea mousse, pineapples, grapes, kiwi fruits, and self-serve soft serve ice cream. The total cost was 4970 yen, which may be slightly high, but considering the quality of the food, the prompt plate clearing, quick alcohol service, and excellent hospitality, I found the price to be reasonable. I definitely want to come back to eat here again.
