"Kazokutei" expanding nationwide? I thought so and searched, but it was only in Osaka. For lunch, the restaurant I was aiming for was temporarily closed, so I panicked and ended up at Kazokutei. I ordered the "Chicken with Black Vinegar Sauce Set" for 980 yen, which came with a small side of soba noodles. The chicken with black vinegar sauce was delicious, not too sweet, and comforting. The rice was a bit dry, maybe the rice cooker needs an upgrade? The soba noodles were decent though. The best part was that they also served soba broth, which I love. I felt like I got a good deal with the vegetable salad and pickles as well. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive, cheerful, and efficient. The head server, Ms. Hashi, was like a customer service goddess, and the other staff members followed her lead. They handled difficult foreign customers with grace and made everyone feel welcome. If you're looking for a good dining experience in Namba Walk, I recommend Kazokutei. I even wrote on the feedback form to praise the employees. I felt so good. I will definitely return to Kazokutei in the future if I need a place to eat in Namba Walk. Dear manager, please get a top-of-the-line rice cooker for the Namba Walk branch!

Namba Kazokutei at Namba Walk Mall
I had the Kamonanban Udon and Tororo Gohan for 1240 yen. Lately, I've been craving meat udon, but they didn't have it today. Oh well. Kazokutei is known for their soba, but their udon is also delicious. The noodles were smooth and soft, typical of Osaka-style udon. It was tasty even without a firm texture. #Kamonanban #NoMeatUdon #SoftUdon

I went on a Sunday night! The restaurant was almost full and bustling. I ordered the Hakata mentaiko tamago toji ankake soba! You can choose between soba or udon. The moderate spiciness of the mentaiko was a nice touch and delicious. The egg ankake had a strong dashi flavor, warming me up from the inside out on a cold night. It was great.

It's been a while since I visited Namba, so I decided to have a leisurely lunch at Kazokutei. As expected, it was crowded during lunchtime. I had the parent and child rice bowl with soba set (you can choose between soba and udon). The taste is consistently good at any Kazokutei branch. The staff at all the stores are cheerful and energetic, which makes me feel happy too.

The Katsudon set and cold soba I ordered were both delicious and worth the price. I was happy to find a place I can casually drop by on my way home. Since they also have izakaya menu, I would like to try it next time and enjoy a leisurely meal.

On New Year's Eve, I was in a rush and almost missed out on eating Toshikoshi Soba, so my family and I ended up going to the Namba Walk branch of Kazokutei instead. We had originally planned to go to Hanazono, but couldn't make it. Many shops in Namba Walk were closed on New Year's Eve, but Kazokutei and Hirota-ya were open to cater to those looking for Toshikoshi Soba. Every year, I struggle to choose between hot and cold soba, but this time, due to the season, I opted for hot soba with a tempura bowl set priced at 1580 yen. It was nice to have the option for a free extra serving of soba. The tempura was delicious and freshly fried, although the Zuwai crab only had one leg.

I felt like having oyakodon, so I decided to have a quick dinner. I ordered the oyakodon set with hot udon and cheese tempura. The oyakodon was delicious with the runny egg, but the udon was just average. Maybe I could have just ordered the oyakodon without the set. The place seemed popular for solo diners, and it's a good option for a quick meal or a drink.

I found a restaurant where I can use my Osaka Point! I had a set meal with pork cutlet rice bowl and cold soba noodles. The price was ¥990 including tax, and it came with soba soup, so it was a bit of a deal. I don't come to Namba often, so I'm not sure if I'll visit again, but thank you for the meal!

I was walking in Namba Walk with a friend and we felt like having some light soba noodles. We came across Kazokutei, a restaurant we used to frequent since high school. We used to love their "Sanpo Soba"! However, they didn't have it on the menu before, so we had given up on it. But this time, we were thrilled to see that they had it! We were both so excited and decided to go in.
- Sanpo Soba 910 yen (excluding tax)
Made with the finest buckwheat flour, this pure white soba had a firm and chewy texture. Just like its name suggests, it came with three kinds of toppings: bonito flakes, seaweed, and sesame seeds, along with condiments like green onions and grated radish with wasabi that you can add to the dipping sauce according to your preference. The soba broth was light and delicious. It was a nostalgic and very tasty meal! We finished it all in no time. Thank you for the meal!

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, I decided to head to Minami. I came across a restaurant called "Iekeitei" and decided to give it a try. The restaurant had a spacious interior with mostly table seating. Surprisingly, there were mostly women, probably shoppers taking a break. They had a wide variety of menu options, including creative noodle dishes. I ordered the tempura bowl set for 950 yen, which came with a choice of mini zaru udon or soba. I also tried the zaru soba for 600 yen. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the reasonable prices. Good job, corporate restaurants. Thank you for the meal.

Before heading to the event held at "FM OH!" in Minatomachi River Place, I stopped by the "Kazokutei" Namba Walk branch for a meal. After much deliberation, I decided on the "Katsudon Set" (1,059 yen). You can choose between soba or udon, and I chose the "zaru soba". Of course, I also had a glass of draft beer. The katsudon consisted of a pork cutlet on top of a bed of rice with scrambled eggs, white leeks, and pickled ginger. The pork used was from the "Yongen Ton" breed, a crossbreed of four different varieties. The zaru soba was satisfying, and I was full after finishing the set. They also served soba broth, which was light and comforting. "Kazokutei" originally started as a soba restaurant.

I have set a goal to conquer all the food and beverage establishments in Namba Walk. I wonder if I'm close to achieving it? I visited Kazokutei. I was drawn to the food samples in front of the store and tried the parent and child bowl (oyakodon) and cold soba noodles. This combination made me feel nostalgic. The interior of the store also had a nice traditional Japanese atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

I visited my favorite soba chain restaurant, Kazokutei, in Namba Walk for the first time today. The friendly female staff provided excellent service, which was very impressive. I ordered the duck and vegetable soba, and they made it extra large for me! The soba was delicious as always! It was the best!!
