I stayed at an APA Hotel and felt like eating takoyaki, so I had some for a late-night snack since there was a place nearby. They had a lot ready, so I could buy them quickly, but they were overcooked and not that great. Takoyaki is best when it's freshly made.

I stayed at a nearby APA Hotel and when I felt a little hungry at night, it was perfect to be able to buy something to eat just by crossing the street. Even at late hours, there are often lines for takeout. Maybe it's popular because the prices are low but the portions are generous? It's a convenient store where you can take freshly made food to go.

I killed some time by having a drink in the afternoon without any smoking seats or parking available. I had a highball, octopus with wasabi, and mixed nuts. Since I had already eaten lunch, I just had these and left. The air conditioning inside the restaurant was too strong, it was quite cold.

Around 3:30 PM, after finishing a business meeting, my friend and I wanted to grab a drink before catching the Shinkansen. We wandered around Sonezaki looking for a place where we could relax and have a good conversation. We passed by a few open establishments, but nothing felt quite right until we stumbled upon a large sign across the street. We ended up at a place where we enjoyed takoyaki and highballs. It was a great time.

I went for a leisurely walk from my accommodation, but there were few open shops due to the late hour. I visited Jumbo Sakaba, which was open late. I tried their okonomiyaki modern style, takoyaki (9 pieces), and fried tofu. The food was cheap but had decent flavor. I left feeling full and a little tipsy, so it was a happy place. The okonomiyaki was delicious, but the takoyaki was too sweet and mushy on the outside, which didn't suit my preference. I like it crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. There might have been an all-you-can-eat and drink option available as well? Lol

I went to the Sozaki store of Jumbo Main Store to buy takoyaki. Next to it is a bar, even at this time, there are quite a few people lining up, maybe for souvenirs or to finish the night. Luckily, I was able to buy without much waiting this time. I bought a big pack of 6 takoyaki just before closing time. As a service before closing, they added 2 more, so I got 8 in total. I ate them right away. The takoyaki has a crispy outside like typical Osaka takoyaki, and the inside is soft and gooey. The price is reasonable, but the amount of ingredients is a bit small. Some only had one piece of octopus in them.

I suddenly had a craving for okonomiyaki and impulsively went to a restaurant. I sat at a table and ordered a "draft beer" and "pork okonomiyaki". The okonomiyaki tasted average, but I was aware of that. I just wanted to eat it. I satisfied my craving at a low price, so I'm happy with it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat takoyaki in Osaka, so I searched around and found Mikke near my hotel! 4 takoyaki for 300 yen and 12 for 600 yen, so I got 12! The takoyaki was delicious and plentiful! I remember seeing this shop in Higashi-Kurume too. Found a sense of nostalgia in Osaka with this shop!

While I was about to head back to the hotel after drinking at night, I suddenly felt hungry and stumbled upon this shop! I realized that I hadn't eaten takoyaki yet since I came to Osaka, so I quickly bought some to take back. The atmosphere was normal since it seemed to be more of a takeout place. The service was good, they even fulfilled my request for freshly cooked takoyaki instead of the ones in a clear case. The taste was good, with delicious outer dough and sauce, but the octopus was very small in some takoyaki, making it hard to find. Overall, the late-night takoyaki was devilishly delicious, but I'm a little worried about gaining weight! Thank you for the meal ♫♫

Suddenly, I felt like eating okonomiyaki, so I decided to dine in here. There were various lunch options, but I ended up choosing the okonomiyaki set meal. They mentioned it would take a bit of time, but that was expected so no problem! While waiting, I played Monster Strike on my phone and before I knew it, the meal arrived! The set meal consisted of rice, miso soup, and a simple okonomiyaki. Despite its simplicity, it only cost 550 yen so it was a good deal! First, I tried the okonomiyaki... The cabbage was crunchy and the sauce was sweet, very delicious (*'ω'*). Okonomiyaki is definitely best enjoyed in its hometown of Osaka♪♪ The miso soup had green onions and a small amount of seaweed as ingredients. It felt a bit lacking, but considering the price, it was acceptable. The okonomiyaki was larger than I expected and I ended up feeling very full afterwards! They offered free extra rice, but I opted for the regular portion to avoid gaining weight (laughs). Thank you for the meal!

The fluffy octopus balls are delicious! Umeda Jumbo Sakaba Maido! Yamadera here. I wanted to eat takoyaki all day, so I decided to go to a shop in Umeda that I had been curious about. The shop is called Jumbo Sakaba. I ordered 9 pieces of takoyaki for 500 yen. You can choose from special sauce, ponzu, soy sauce, or salt. I chose soy sauce. The inside was gooey and delicious. I also ordered pork okonomiyaki for 450 yen, which was also very tasty. I wanted to drink alcohol too, but I refrained. Thank you for the meal. Jumbo Sakaba Basic Information: Address: 1-8-4 Sonezaki, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture Closed: Not specified Business hours: 10:00 - 5:00 Difficulty of entry for one person: ★★☆☆☆ (Average)

Visited before 1 am. I have bought takoyaki for takeout before, but this was my first time dining in. I ordered a lot - takoyaki, yakisoba, french fries, kimchi, beer, beer, beer, beer, chu-hai, chu-hai, karaage. The kimchi for 180 yen came out first, and we joked that you could get 3 beers for the same price. I forgot to take pictures of the rest... In Umeda, at this time, for this price, this place is one of the cheapest. So cheap!! The person I was with didn't like the chu-hai they got, and they complained that if only that was different, they would come here every week. But the takoyaki was delicious, so I'll definitely stop by again soon.

After visiting Daikoku Drugstore, I stumbled upon Jumbo Sakaba, a popular izakaya in Osaka known for their jumbo takoyaki. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is lively even at odd hours. I decided to stop by for a quick bite and ordered a draft beer, takoyaki, and omu soba. The takoyaki arrived first, followed by the omu soba. Both dishes were freshly made and delicious. While there are certainly more delicious takoyaki and okonomiyaki shops out there, the casual and nostalgic vibe of Jumbo Sakaba is charming. I appreciate that it hasn't tried to become too upscale. They even have outlet items like slightly older takoyaki for sale, which is eco-friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I will likely visit again in the future.

I went to this restaurant for the first time after finishing work late at night. I usually go to Okuman on Higashi Street, but I decided to try this place that opened last year. I ordered three highballs each, along with sliced raw fish, asparagus bacon, sausages, and fried chicken. The highballs were not too weak or strong, just a normal tasty highball. The sliced raw fish was thin. The sausages were okay for the price. The asparagus seemed like it might have been frozen. It was recommended on the menu, but just okay. The fried chicken was average, not as good as at Katsu-o. However, it's cheap and open until 5 am, so I will definitely come back for a drink after work again.

On the second night of my business trip, I was alone and decided to spend the evening at the hotel. While wandering around the area, I found a takoyaki shop that offered takeout. I was lucky to see that the takoyaki packs, which had cooled down a bit, were discounted from 350 yen to 300 yen, so I bought them right away. I also ordered some karaage (Japanese fried chicken) to go. I had to wait about 5 minutes for the freshly fried karaage, and then took it back to the hotel. The karaage was okay, nothing special. The main attraction was the takoyaki, which were quite large in size. Although I imagine they would have been even more delicious when freshly cooked, they were still quite tasty after reheating them in the hotel microwave. They definitely paired well with beer. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I visited on a late Saturday night. The place was full of young people and had a lively atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and the food tasted good. It's a good spot for a casual drink and meal. The service was okay, considering the prices.

I came to Jumbo Sakaba, a branch derived from the main store of Jumbo. The flashy sign facing Shinmido-suji caught my eye. The Sezaki branch seems to have long operating hours, from 10 in the morning until 5 in the morning the next day, open for 19 hours. I ordered a highball. I noticed that there was a bit too much ice, but the amount of highball was not small, so it's fine. I also ordered 9 takoyaki. The surface is fluffy, and the inside is creamy. Some may prefer a crispy texture, while others may prefer a fluffy one. I personally like the crispy texture, but I don't deny the appeal of the fluffy texture. The takoyaki balls are quite large, so my stomach feels full. Located at 1-8-4 Sonezaki, Kita-ku, Osaka City.

Today is the last day of my trip to Osaka. I stopped by this restaurant to adjust my schedule with my wife. I quickly placed my order for a highball and edamame. It arrived promptly. The highball had a nice whiskey aroma. The edamame was average. I finished three highballs and also ordered some spicy cucumber, which was a substantial amount but I managed to finish it all. I paid the bill, which was reasonable. It was lunchtime, so there were many office workers eating lunch. Now, it's time to head back to the countryside. It was a fun trip. I will do my best at work starting tomorrow. Thank you for the meal. I will come back again.

Late at night, despite the hour, a flashy and huge sign stands out on a main street near Umeda. Definitely Osaka! ◎ Pork Yakisoba 440 yen tax included ◎ Draft Beer (medium) 319 yen tax included [Pork Yakisoba] Watching the sizzling hotplate cooking adds to the excitement before it arrives. The yakisoba with sauce clinging to it is perfect with a cold beer. The chewy thick noodles provide a satisfying bite, making it great for snacking. The pork in the Pork Yakisoba isn't particularly abundant, but the balance of ingredients is just right. The cabbage slightly charred on the hotplate is delicious! And the cost performance is amazing! ^_^ Thank you for the meal.
