This time, I went shopping with my middle-aged friends at "laLaport EXPOCITY" and headed to the food court to grab a bite to eat. It was a Saturday holiday, so all the tables were taken and whenever we thought a table was about to open up, someone else would grab it, causing us to waste time. Finally, a young man finishing his meal at a 4-person table seemed like he would leave soon, so I asked him if the table would be free soon. He seemed flustered and said, "It will be free soon." Despite me telling him not to rush, he quickly vacated the table, allowing us to secure a spot. Most of the food stalls had long lines, but the one we went to was not crowded. I ordered the "Bonito Tataki Don" and found that the bonito was a bit thin but there was more than I expected. The taste was fresh and delicious, but the sauce didn't seem to reach all the rice evenly, which I wasn't sure if it was due to my eating style or the lack of sauce. By the time we finished eating, the stall had a long line, showing that it was indeed a highly-rated place on food review websites. As we were leaving, a group of students in school uniforms were looking for a table, so I called out to them that we were done and they could take our seats. They looked happy and grateful as we left, leaving behind a parting message of leaving the tablecloth for them to wipe the table before use. Apologies for the brief food comments in this review.

Had lunch at the donburi stall in the food court at Lalaport Expocity. Ordered the roast beef bowl for ¥1078 (tax included). The portion was surprisingly small, almost like a mini bowl. It might not be enough for men. It was disappointing.

I had a roast beef bowl. It was very filling, and the meat was tender and delicious! The drink had too much ice so the taste was not noticeable, but it was compensated with a service when I showed my loyalty card, so it's not a problem (?)

I spent half a day at the Minpaku and had a fulfilling afternoon. Afterwards, I stopped by the Lalaport. When it was time for dinner, instead of going to the restaurant area, I decided to go to the food court. I was drawn to the "Regional Donburi" stall, and decided to try it out. There were 9 types of donburi available, such as Hokkaido, Tokyo, Kagawa, Fukuoka, Kochi, etc. I chose the "Kashiwa Butter Donburi" which I had never tried before. The sweet and savory sauce, along with the sweetness of the butter, created a unique taste. It's a bit of a junk food flavor, but it truly embodies "B-grade gourmet". The portion of meat was also generous. I didn't try it when I went to Kagawa, but if I have the chance to go again, I will definitely look for it.

This is a restaurant where you can eat famous rice bowl dishes from all over the country. I felt like eating Tokachi pork bowl at the time, so I ordered it! I also got the Nakatsu fried chicken as an extra. The pork bowl had a satisfying taste and the cost performance was good! The Nakatsu fried chicken may have a divisive taste because it has a strong garlic flavor. Thank you for the meal!

I hadn't eaten lunch, so after the Brass Expo, I went to Lalaport EXPOCITY for lunch. My wife and daughter had already eaten, so I went to the food court alone. It was crowded even though it was past 2 o'clock, so I chose a stall selling various regional rice bowl dishes. The menu included Hokkaido Tokachi pork bowl, Tokyo-style roast beef bowl, and green onion tuna salmon bowl. Despite being a tour of famous rice bowl dishes from all over Japan, there were three entries from Osaka: beef kalbi grilled meat bowl, three-element pork cutlet bowl, and pork cutlet bowl with broth. It was a subtle choice whether it was aimed at tourists or locals. This time, since I was hungry after lunch, I ordered the three-element pork cutlet bowl from Osaka for 1045 yen. There were also unique shops in the food court such as Takel with steak hamburgers, Tsujita with dipping noodles, and Kua Aina with Hawaiian hamburgers. However, all the shops were generally on the expensive side. After waiting at the table for a while, the cutlet bowl was ready. The egg was soft and had a nice flavor. The cutlet was thick and satisfying to eat. However, when a cutlet bowl in the food court costs over 1000 yen, it feels a bit expensive. It was quite crowded even at 2 o'clock, so it seems like it would be quite challenging during lunchtime, but there were other shops that caught my eye.

During my shopping trip with my wife at the physical store in Lalaport EXPO CITY, we decided to have lunch at the food court. There were a few empty seats scattered around. After checking out all the stores, we chose a place that offered delicious local rice bowl dishes from across the country. I imagined they were reproducing the recipes of famous local shops. My wife ordered the roast beef bowl (1,078 yen including tax) and I ordered the pork cutlet simmered bowl (968 yen including tax). We received a buzzer, prepared our drinks, and waited for about 7-8 minutes before being called to pick up our food. The pork cutlet simmered bowl had a delicate and gentle dashi flavor, with a nice fluffy texture from the egg. The dashi soaked into the cutlet's coating perfectly, creating a high-quality taste. The aroma of the Mitsuba (Japanese parsley) was also great. The roast beef cutlet was made from high-quality meat with a good balance of lean and fatty flavors. The rice was a bit plain, but overall, the balance of flavors was good. It felt like the taste you would expect from a high-class restaurant serving a cutlet bowl. My wife also mentioned that the roast beef bowl was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

At the food court in Lalaport EXPO City, there is a shop where you can try various local rice bowl dishes from around the country! While the roast beef bowl and ikura salmon bowl are recommended, I decided to order the B-grade gourmet dish from Okayama Prefecture, the "Okayama Demi-katsu Don." It consisted of what seemed like frozen tonkatsu covered in a generous amount of demi-glace sauce, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the sauce. Next time, I'll try the roast beef instead.

✔️Osaka Expo Park ✔️National Local Donburi Food Stand, Lala Port EXPOCITY Store---------------------------------------------------Osaka Gourmet x Expo Park LunchI love the romance drama "The Bachelor" that is being streamed on Amazon Prime, so this time I will deliver using the "Tomonaga Structure" that became popular on social media! If you're curious, search it up! But I'm sorry if you don't know The Bachelor. HahaRecently, I went to the food court at Lala Port EXPOCITY. Today, I will share all the events from that time without hiding anything. I was honestly struggling with what I wanted to eat and what I should eat. Should I go for the #Roast Beef Donburi or the #Salmon Ikura Donburi? But then I realized, I don't want to lie to my feelings. What I was really looking for at that time was the hearty feeling of raw meat. But I thought maybe the Salmon Ikura Donburi would be better for my body since I'm on a diet. Then I noticed that the Salmon Ikura Donburi seemed to be limited in quantity. Oh, it seems like it's sold out. That's what I thought. When I finally faced the Roast Beef Donburi, my impression was that it was really huge. It's no wonder it's called Premium or King. On the other hand, I honestly didn't expect much from the taste of a shop in a food court. But I was wrong, the taste was also delicious. Where does this strength come from? It's truly a strong donburi, and I can only be grateful to have met this shop this time. I want to eat it again, that's how I felt. There's no lie about that. Thank you for the meal!----------------------------------------------------◆Food Blog: 3.22◆Genre: Donburi◆Dinner Budget: ¥1000-1999◆Nearest Station: 5 minutes walk from Osaka Monorail Banpaku Kinen Koen Station#Osaka #OsakaGourmet #expocity #lalaport #RyomanikuOsaka #TomonagaShinya

I went to a restaurant in the food court of LaLaport in Suita City, Osaka. I always get lost in LaLaport as usual. I visited on a Friday night around 8:30 pm. The last order was at 8:30 pm, so it was just in time. There were still some customers in the food court, but it was quiet. There weren't many people lining up in front of the shops. This shop offers various rice bowl dishes, but I decided to try the delicious-looking roast beef bowl. I ordered the Premium King Roast Beef Bowl for 1380 yen (excluding tax). I was given a new type of machine that makes a sound, different from the usual one. After waiting for 4 minutes, the machine beeped. Oh no, I need to stop it. I didn't know how to stop it. It seems that pressing a button on the side stops it. But there was no button... until I found a small button. The roast beef bowl is a specialty from Tokyo, I heard. It has a small egg on top, but there's another egg hidden inside, making it egg-filled. The egg flavor is overwhelming. It's topped with the usual white sauce, but the egg is the star. There was more meat than rice, so I realized that ordering extra rice (+100 yen) would have been the right choice. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On November 25, 2018, I went to 109 Cinemas Osaka Expo City to watch the movie "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald". The movie started at 12:40, so before that, I decided to have lunch at the food court on the 3rd floor of Lalaport. To my surprise, it was crowded with people! I lined up at a shop with a relatively short line, but it turned out to be a mistake. I ordered a Katsuotataki Donburi for 930 yen and miso soup for 100 yen, excluding tax. I paid a total of 1,112 yen, but the long wait, relatively high price, and lack of freshness in the Katsuotataki left me disappointed. Oh well, I guess it's my own fault. But since the movie was good, I'll let it slide (laughs). Thank you for the meal!

I was torn between ordering the roast beef bowl and the "Charcoal-Grilled Tokachi Pork Bowl," but I was drawn to the appearance of the sauce and the cooking style. The pork was thick and well-seasoned, making it very enjoyable with the rice! However, I wish I had a more relaxed environment to enjoy my meal as I realized I was in a food court.

In a corner of the food court at Lalaport, there was a long line that caught my attention. I decided to wait in line and try the delicious roast beef bowl. Even though I had eaten roast beef bowl recently, I couldn't resist trying it again. I usually don't expect much from food court meals, but this place was a hit. The bowl was filled with plenty of meat, a generous portion. The flavor was rich and tasty. It was a bowl that made me want to wait in line and eat it again. Next time, I'll try a different kind!

Ikura is the best! The combination of popping ikura and creamy salmon is perfect! It's surprising to find something like this in the food court!

The donburi restaurant in the food court at Expocity. The customer service was very friendly and energetic. I ordered the traditional pork cutlet simmered in sauce with miso soup set for 1058 yen. By registering on LINE, I received a 200 yen discount. The way the egg was cooked seemed a bit too soft, but the pork cutlet was thick and juicy, with the coating soaked in the broth, making it quite delicious. With the LINE discount, I think it was a satisfying meal overall.
