It's like the Yoshinoya of eel bowls, with a generous serving of eel grilled over charcoal, tender and juicy. Even among the crowded lunch crowd, there are some inbound customers spotted. I was full and satisfied. The cost performance was excellent, and I was very happy with the meal. To be able to eat eel at this price, and the eel was thick and juicy. I definitely want to go back again. It was very delicious, thank you for the meal.

I found a place called Unatoto near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine in Minamimorimachi. I decided to go into a familiar bar nearby that closes early. They had a budget-friendly "Choinomi Set" which included a drink, eel roll, grilled eel skewers, eel small dish, and potato salad for 1,500 yen including tax. They also had a campaign where draft beer (Premium Malts) was only 290 yen. Soon, the eel small dish and eel roll were served hot. After a short break, the grilled eel skewers were served. It was quite a generous portion. If you're drinking alone at the counter, this set is satisfying enough. I could have also enjoyed a double eel bowl at Unatoto if I hadn't eaten standing udon before entering the bar. Overall, adding another glass of beer, it was a satisfying evening drink.

On the first night in Osaka, I had a drink at a store near the hotel. The store looked like an eel restaurant, but they had a wide variety of izakaya menu items as well, so I decided to go in. I tried the "Salted Beef Tendon Stew" for 450 yen, which had a light seasoning, but the daikon (radish) was dry and tough. The "Chicken Tenderloin with Plum Dressing" for 250 yen was just average. The "Mapo Tofu" was disappointing as it had too much sansho pepper, rather than being spicy. For drinks, I had a draft beer for 300 yen, a Hoppy set for 400 yen, a medium-sized beer for 220 yen, a highball for 380 yen, an Oronamin C highball for 350 yen, and a lemon sour for 350 yen. The taste was delicious as always and everyone seemed to enjoy it, but because the eel was cut into small pieces, I couldn't experience the unique fluffy texture while eating it.
