★★★★★ Highly recommended for solo travelers. Since many business travelers use this place, it is also easy for solo travelers to stay here. This inn is located in the area of Funadomari, away from the ferry terminal, with a fantastic view of the sea right in front of it! I stayed for 2 nights, so I will divide my review into two parts! Breakfast on the 2nd day: A typical Japanese-style breakfast with a focus on traditional dishes. I was pleased to see grilled fish served every morning! Just like in other inns in Rishiri, they also served seasoned kelp instead of seasoned seaweed. Although it may not be clear in the photos, the miso soup on this day had shrimp in it. The broth was incredibly delicious! The shrimp was small, so I ate it with the shell on. A true luxury experience unique to island inns! I stayed for 2 nights, and it was a very satisfying stay! Although it is far from Kafuka Port, the quiet village atmosphere on the island was lovely.

Solo traveler recommendation: ★★★★★ This inn is often used for business purposes, making it easy for solo travelers to use as well. Located in the area of Funadomari, away from the ferry terminal, the inn offers a great view of the sea! I stayed for 2 nights, so I will split my review into two parts! Dinner on the 2nd night: Once again, there was sea urchin on the dining table! I had sea urchin rice bowl as a must-try dish. The main dishes were tempura and simmered salmon. Grilled shrimp and whelk were perfect with Japanese sake! The sashimi featured my favorite shellfish and octopus. The shellfish had no fishy smell at all! The mozuku seaweed was also delicious. It was the northernmost route meal I had, even more affordable than the inn in Rishiri! The menu was completely different from the first night! Considering the accommodation cost, it was a satisfying meal experience.

Solo traveler recommendation: ★★★★★ This inn is popular among business travelers, making it easy for solo travelers to use as well. Located in the area of Funadomari, away from the ferry terminal, the inn offers a stunning view of the sea right in front of it! I stayed for 2 nights, so I will split my review into two parts! 1st night: Breakfast is served from 7 am, but it is usually ready by 6:30 am. The breakfast menu is typical, with dishes like grilled fish, sautéed vegetables, and grated yam. There were plenty of side dishes to start the day off right! It was great to see broccoli included as a vegetable option. Just like dinner, rice and miso soup are self-serve. I was able to enjoy a hearty breakfast to kick off my day!

★★★★★ Highly recommended for solo travelers. This inn is located in the Shipmooring district, away from the ferry terminal, and offers a fantastic view of the sea. I stayed for 2 nights so I will split my review into two parts! Night 1 Dinner: This inn is more like a typical guesthouse where you can relax comfortably. Some people mistake it for a ryokan due to their expectations of high-end service and hospitality, but I found the staff to be very kind and welcoming. The food is quite satisfying with a focus on seafood. The dinner included various dishes such as uni (sea urchin) on rice, sweet shrimp sashimi, deep-fried white fish, and grilled octopus. The highlight for me was the generous portion of crab. The meal ended with a delicious sanbeijiru (miso soup with seafood) hot pot. The inn also has a dog, which I am not particularly fond of, but it was well-behaved after a quick sniff. Overall, a great dining experience!

At 9:25 in the morning, we departed from Oshidomari Port to Kafuka Port on Rebun Island. Upon arrival on Rebun Island, we were picked up by a car from the inn called Kaisho, where we were able to drop off our luggage before being taken to Cape Sukoton. Due to strong winds and the lack of buses for almost 2 hours, we had to call Kaisho to have the owner pick us up. Finally able to rest on the futon, we were able to catch our breath. We opted for the Flower Travel Stay Plan which included a luxurious meal for 9000 yen. While there were guests who chose the room-only option, the other couple's meal did not include crab, so we believe ours was the luxurious meal! It was delicious. The breakfast was also good.
